- Nikolas (8/5): Great location and great value for money. - Fantastic location right outside the old city part and near plenty of coffee shops, shops and restaurants.
Quit at night, great (small) swimming pool and terrace on the first floor. The check-in process was rather slow.
We tried the food once at the pool, a guacamole, and it was not nice at all.

- Yanira (9/5): Great hotel - Beautiful and location Was good
- Rosio (8/5): - Hotel was really pretty and clean. The bar was good and also the restaurant's breakfast. Location was within walking distance on city center. Lots of coffee shops and shopping. The only bad comment I would have is the bed, it was not comfortable at all. I requested a mattress toper or changed of mattress to front desk, but nothing was done to solve the issue.
- Katherine (10/5): - If you’re traveling to Oaxaca, this was a beautiful place to stay in the arts district. The hotel itself is beautiful (like everything else in the city), rooms are small but comfy, staff is lovely (but expect little English to be spoken). Tons of great food and artisans around. Gym is decent.
- ANAIRAM1809 (10/5): - Muy bonito hotel, en color rosa mexicano, muchos espacios Instagrameables, habitaciones muy bonitas y camas cómodas.
Personal siempre atento a lo que necesitas, excelente ubicación
- Jesus (4/5): - The property is listed as a 4 start hotel but lacked some of the most basic amenities present in hotels at that tier and below e.g. coffee in the room, a fridge, decent tv, etc. The wi-fi was not working at all in the room. Staff was ok not what you would expect for a brand like Marriot. For this price point this is a huge disappointment.
- Mariana (10/5): -
- Saúl (10/5): -
- Benjamin (10/5): - Very clean, professional staff and all my questions were answered. Free rides they offered was also very helpful.
- Victor (10/5): Exceptional -

Céntrico
- Mauro (7/5): Hotel located at few steps from the center, well maintained , is in needs of more and better qualified people if they wa - Location , the architecture , and the amenities, the staff for the check in and out The overall services inside the Hotel
We were 3 persons but they gave us only two set of towels
Every day we asked for one set more but they never prepared the room for 3
The attitude’s of the people of swimming pool bar was not emphatic at all
Unfortunately not a great experience
- Steinunn (8/5): Very good -
- luispU754UO (2/5): Negligence and complicity in dry-cleaning debacle - The personnel in this property has zero accountability, the hotel's laundry service provider ruined my suit which was needed for a wedding I was attending during the first week of April.
The procedure was super sketchy to say the least, the front desk agent received the money from me in cash and supposedly led the process of coordinating the pick up.
After the "service provider" destroyed my suit I was unable to have anything to wear for the wedding and the next thing I tried to do was raising a claim, so that's what led to to contact the hotel where a front desk agent "acknowledged" the issue originally, promised to seek for a tailor so I could have a solution, and later proceeded to "block" me in WhatsApp. During the whole process the hotel's general manager has systemically refused to cooperate in reaching a resolution. Every time I call I get "ping pong'ed'' me. IT has been over 2 weeks and still no resolution has been reached.
- VERONICA (6/5): - plusses - clean & well maintained throughout, bottled water in room each day, great blackout blinds, close to everything so we could walk everywhere, felt safe
minuses - rooms were not sound proofed very well; could hear activities from neighboring buildings (church), dogs on the street barking & loud TV from room next door (particularly annoying at 5:30 am)
- J1768BTalejandroh (8/5): Perfect location - This is hotel is situated in Barrio de Jalatlaco, a really nice area, with restaurants and vibrant street art.
A couple things that we noticed about the facilities: none of our two rooms had ventilation in the bathroom, because of the tile they used on the floors it can be very noisy when guests are checking out early and are strolling their luggage. Also, the parking lot is tight, it can be tricky to get in if other cars are parked on the street and very challenging to go out if you had to go beyond the first floor.
Service is good and breakfast buffet was ok. We got coupons for two people per night, and were not allowed to use 6 at a time one day for our whole family 🥲
- Emek (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rudolf (3/5): Not at the expected standard. A lot of noise coming from the hotel to the room (quality of isolation is bad). Restaurant -
- Sander (7/5): Good - Friendly helpful staff Small room, especially compared to the pictures. Having booked via booking.com, I had the impression this had an impact on the size of room we got.
- Jeremy Martin (6/5): - Overall decent stay. The very loud music served at the mediocre brunch each day was an unwelcome surprise. Staff was friendly and helpful when they are able to help, but I got the general impression that they’re oftentimes not empowered by management to provide the level of service they actually want to provide.
- Ariana (10/5): Pink Marriot - My stay here was amazing! It was so photo worthy! It included parking which is great cause many hotels don’t have that in the city. Super clean and very friendly staff! I loved the location a lot of coffee shops and places to eat around and also photo worthy! Right in front of a beautiful church! Felt super safe was out until 11:00 pm walking around and eating. Love this place would return!
- Veronica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Roberto (10/5): - The water pressure in the shower wasn’t strong enough
- Matias (8/5): - Staff were super accomodating. Thank you
- Nicole (7/5): Good -
- Kim (9/5): Superb - Loved that it was all pink. Has a great pool on the roof. The center courtyard is wonderful for pre dinner drinks. Would definitely stay here again. The service at the bar was very slow. Kind, but slow.
- Charles (9/5): Very organized staff and the hotel is spotless. - The hotel is located in a vibrant neighborhood of artisans and cafes. Easy to walk to the centro plaza and markets.
- Erick (10/5): - The design was wonderful
- Soriano (9/5): Superb -
- Signore_Colomo (6/5): Goo option for visiting Oaxaca - Nice centric hotel, located in Jalatlaco area, and within 15 minutes walk from Oaxaca Downtown. Rooms are small, but clean. The only issue was that our room had a small window and no natural ventilation. Breakfast is average, but with a bad price/value relation. You can get a much better option in any near cafe. Staff is super friendly and willing to help. Tour service are extremely recommended.
- Maria A. Gutierrez (10/5): - This place had a fantastic and relaxed environment! I loved staying there; it was super convenient. Outside of the city center, there is a hassle but only a 10-minute walk to the beautiful barrio.
- Carla (8/5): - Great location near many restaurants, coffee shops and artisanal shops. Double bed room was small for 3 people, only recommend 2 per room. Pool is heated and there's a bar steps away.
- Pachahunai (8/5): Very good -
- Sandra (10/5): Perfect introduction to Mexico. - Stylish, quiet and very clean. Well positioned in interesting and very safe barrio. Easy walking to all main tourist and cultural attractions. Excellent staff and a beautifully created atmosphere. Buffet breakfast at weekend was excellent and live marimba music made it a magical moment. Nothing
- Susana (10/5): - Our stay was wonderful, the staff was so friendly and considerate, they know we arrived on an early flight and we were exhausted they put us in area that would not hear much noise so we can rest. This hotel is in the middle of everything in the most beautiful town, you can literally see everything from the balcony. I have recommended this hotel to all my friends.
- Robelle (9/5): Superb -
- Osorio (6/5): Great location, very quiet lovely atmosphere.,nice pool. - The breakfast was good. The pool and the building were beautiful.Great location. The staff at the breakfast could have been more attentive and organized. They were not focused on the guests.
- Jesus (7/5): Good location beds need a huge improvement, hotel is overall good but beds are so uncomfortable it was hard to get a goo - Location The beds mattress need to be thrown away and get new ones along with pillows.
- Liza (10/5): Exceptional -

- Michellet (9/5): Superb -
- Leticia (8/5): - Property was good and nice terrace with pool. However, we had to remind the hotel to have our room cleaned everyday because it was still not cleaned at the end of the day when we came back in the late afternoon.
The hotel is nice and it a nice neighborhood. However, it is a 15-20 walk to get to downtown.
- Andrea (8/5): Very good -
- Guillermo (8/5): - Todo muy buen solo que Las camas están muy duras. No descansamos bien.
- Joshua (6/5): - The maintenance staff struggled to fix things. Like the toilet. Came 3 times and kept saying it was fixed but it wasn’t. Also the fitness center was not useable the entire stay. The treadmills don’t work at all and the ellipticals work but turn off randomly. Reported it to staff 4 times and kept being told they would be fixed but never were. Had to pay out of pocket at a local gym. Other than the maintenance issues, everything else was great. Front desk staff was super helpful and pleasant as well as all the servers in the restaurant/bar. Just gotta figure out how to keep things working in the hotel effectively and you all will be #1.
- Kirstyn (10/5): - Great
- Chelsea (8/5): Great location, very clean - It was in a really good location, room very clean (basic) It was so noisy! The maid service started really early most days and was so loud. The hallways were tiled and so it was noisy when they were pulling the trolleys to the rooms. If anyone checked out etc was also really loud with people leaving rooms. We were woke up most days from noise within the hotel before 8am, a few times there was quite a lot of noise in the middle of the night. On our last day a musically performance to accompany breakfast started before 10am which we thought was ridiculous
- Mladen (10/5): Hidden gem in the heart of Oaxaca - Location, cleanliness, vibe
- Paola (10/5): Exceptional -
- Kevin (1/5): Bad -
- Rodrigo (7/5): OK but not amazing - Staff and cleanness of the hotel Food, beverage options.
- Geraldine (7/5): Good -
- Omar (8/5): Very good -
- Jagzam (8/5): Good - Location, clean No breakfast included, it was to expensive, small room and bathroom.
- Bras (9/5): Good - Very clean and comfortable Nothing
- Mario (6/5): total deception - I stayed in the hotel because of the architecture and design, and the hotel has nice parts… the room is modern The hotel is too expensive for what it offers. And it didn’t even include breakfast. Even though the architecture is special, very modern mexican, the reception is in a small corner and not welcoming at all. People at the reception were also not very welcoming and not helpful. I asked where the room was and she told me where I could find the elevators but it turns out that the room was on… the groundfloor. Initially they gave me a room hidden in a corner with a window to the patio… with no privacy nor light. Then I asked to change and got one one floor above with a window to a corner inner patio that never sees any light. The room didn’t even have a small fridge. And last but not least the hotel is quite far away from the centre and all attractions.
- SenoraLili (8/5): great for day of the dead - There are lots of low reviews so I came with low expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It is an excellent hotel for day of the dead. It is close to the Centro if you want to head down there, but there is plenty going on right outside the door. Stayed with a friend. We both remarked on how great the shower was, lots of hot water! Big nice bath towels. The room has plenty of space. We had no noise issues. The staff that serves food and drinks were super helpful. The terrace rocks during day of the dead. Front desk, meh. No coffee maker or tea kettle (brought my own tea kettle). Low room amenities. But totally recommend for day of the dead!
- steve (8/5): - Great location.
- Fung (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (7/5): Great location and free, secure parking - Fabulous location and quite a pleasant environment. Clean. Excellent parking. Rooms were ok, but basic. No fridge and borderline effective AC. Staff OK but not great.
- Claudia (8/5): - Good hotel in a cute little neighborhood. It has more of a boutique-y vibe compared to a standard Marriott but I found it to be quite charming. The neighborhood is a bit trendy so if you’re looking for something more traditional, this might not be it. It’s about a 15-20 min walk from the city center/zocalo. They conveniently offer a free shuttle to anywhere within a 5mile radius, so that was a nice option. I can see how the surrounding area might be a bit sketchy but luckily we did not encounter any issues. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.
- David (10/5): - Super clean and comfortable vibe at this hotel. Short walk to the city centre with excellent close by dining options. Oaxaca is a beautiful city period!
- Ana (10/5): Exceptional - The place is super beautiful and clean :) I definitely recommend it.
- Elizabeth Cruz (10/5): - Excelente staff and great walking location to all points of interest
- Amanda (10/5): We had a great stay and would come back if we are ever in Oaxaca. - The design of the hotel is great. Comfortable beds and great locations. Bathroom and water pressure were top notch. The hallways were a little noisy.
- Wilfredo (10/5): - Great place to stay during our visit to Oaxaca. Near by many shops and restaurants
- Jacqueline (5/5): Passable - Location was good. Staff were not the friendliest and not very efficient. For example, we asked for a taxi to be booked for the airport and they never did it. Other requests had to be asked multiple times.
- Irene (10/5): - Room to small
- liz (8/5): - Great stay in except for staying on the ground level. Cons: Way too noisy on ground level. No guest room should be close to the staff’s room closet.Pros: friendly staff.
- Andrew (7/5): Good -
- Adela (8/5): Very good - Location, staff & cleanest Wifi connection was bad
- Veronica (10/5): - Great place for the value.
- Philippa (10/5): Fabulous spot amongst all the beautiful coloured buildings - Location, excellent proximity to centro, restaurants, cafés. Streets lined with brightly coloured buildings, so many to look at and surprises around each corner. Jalatlaco is full of incredible restaurants, too many to choose from. La Sirena Bichi a favourite. Little time spent in our accom as there is too much exploring to do No dislikes
- Stephen (8/5): Very good - Only one English Channel on the tv
- Patricia (10/5): - Awesome place, great staff, they have a courtesy shuttle
- Georgina (9/5): Great stay - The hotel is beautiful, staff was amazing, kind and promptly attended all of our requests.
Overall the stay was great. The pool needs a little maintenance. I didn't like on the bar's happy hour they mention you have to buy food to apply the promotion only when they've already brought the drinks.
- Grace (7/5): Good - Good location, hotel has beautiful outside decor Rooms are so small, no room to move about
- Taj (10/5): - Great service at front desk ad beautiful facility
- Ashlea (4/5): Oaxaca was amazing! The hotel - The hotel was far too costly for what it was.
Hotel room was dark and basic, no mini bar or fridge, breakfast not included, very grimm pool.
There was one night staff member who was fantastic, wish we got his name! The gym was good.
- Alejandro (10/5): - Very clean,great location,staff are great.
- Juan (9/5): Superb - Beautiful architecture. Love it. Great neighborhood. Great city. A lot of good places to eat nearby.
