- Peter (10/5): Empfehlenswerte Oase inmitten schönster Natur. - Wunderschöne Ausstattung im gesamten Riad. Sehr vielfältiger, großer Garten und Pool mit Sonnenliegen. In verschiedenen Ecken und Winkeln warten Sitzgelegenheiten, dieses Riad hat Charme. Ebenso die Zimmer, welche liebevoll und mit Stil eingerichtet sind. Wir hatten das Zimmer 1 mit einer wunderbaren Terrasse und Blick auf den hohen Atlas. Die Zufahrt zur Anlage ist extrem mühsam, da die Straßenverhältnisse unbefestigt sind und viele Schlaglöcher aufweisen. Geländewagen sind angemessen.

It's a mini paradise tucked among the valleys and foothills of the Atlas mountains 🏞️🪻☀️ The terraced property is absolutely stunning - and has a great vibe. With so many tasteful details, it has viewpoints of surrounding villages, fields, and the epic mountain range that is the Atlas Mountains. The photos do not do it justice! The garden is gorgeous, so lush, cared for, and full of life. We were there in Spring after a year of rain, and the whole valley was lush, green, and peppered with wildflowers. The staff were also incredibly kind, professional, and helpful. Thank you so much to Leila and the whole team for a truly memorable experience! We hope to be back soon.

- MARIE (10/5): A sanctuary in the valley - Absolutely everything, we had the whole place for ourselves. The room was spacious and with a large veranda. The gardens, chicken and cat enhanced our stay. The manager Leila is genuinely kind and pro active. Thank you to Zined for cooking for us and Ayoub for his help true ou stay. We will be back. Everything was amazing. Only comment is about the food menu with was expensive but everything is 100% local and handmade. You have no other choice than eat there due to the location.
- Róża (10/5): Everything was excellent - Fantastic place. It’s a hidden gem in the area, a bit of an off road to get there but it’s worth the serenity and tranquillity the place offers. It’s authentic Moroccan design, tasteful and oriental. Staff is kind and make you feel welcome and taken care of. I’d recommend anyone who enjoys peaceful nature with stunning views. While breakfast was absolutely tasty the restaurant dishes could be a bit improved.

Je wordt doorlopend per whatsapp op de hoogte gehouden door het personeel over het menu, de aanrijroute, uitstapjes etc. Het eten is geweldig. Je moet even 5 km over onverharde weg om er te komen. Door twee berberdorpjes, maar dat is ook wel weer bijzonder.

- Rob (10/5): Fantastische ervaring, totale en pure rust in een stijlvolle omgeving. - Prachtige locatie waar de accommodaties is gevestigd. Zoveel rust en mooie uitzichten en de inrichting is zo mooi en op elkaar afgestemd. De nieuwe eigenaren (vanaf 1 november) leggen je echt in de watten en zorgen ervoor dat je verblijf fantastisch is. Ook het eten is erg goed.
- Rens (7/5): Heel fijne plek, mooi vormgegeven maar erg onrustige door werkzaamheden en overnamen - De locatie is geweldig. Veel fijne zitplekken. Mooie tuin, prachtig vorm gegeven. -Er werd geklust aan de gebouwen wat helaas lawaai gaf in de verder stille valei. -Er was een overname bezig waardoor er de hele tijd mensen rond liepen om alles te inventariseren en ze waren in het restaurant druk aan het onderhandelen. -In de kamer zitten sensors waardor het licht aanspringt wanneer je beweegt. Helaas ook als je tijdens je slaap omdraait. -We moesten 24€ betalen voor 2 salades als lunch. Dat is wel erg duur voor een salade.

- Robyn (10/5): An incredibly peaceful oasis with outstanding views andsmazing staff. - The peace, decor, food, ambience were outstanding. From the moment we stepped into the pool area we felt relaxed and at home. The staff were incredible- leaving us to relax but there if we needed them Omar took care of everything, When we arrived it was outstanding. It would have been helpful to be aware of the off road track you needed to drive down to find the hotel.

It is carefully and consciously designed to surpass all the expectations. Best value money of our whole trip. Nothing. Honestly It is a real 10 out of 10.

The setting is calm and restorative; the kind of place where you can sit on the terrace or in the gardens and just take it all in. What really made my stay stand out, though, was Omar, the host. He’s warm, attentive and genuinely welcoming; the kind of hospitality that makes you feel at home straight away. His lemon-ginger lemonade became a little highlight of every day. With its beautiful location, authentic atmosphere and Omar’s hospitality, Dar Tafantant is more than just a stopover. It’s the perfect place to start a trip through Morocco or to escape the buzz of Marrakech for a while. I left feeling rested, grateful and connected to the surroundings. Shukran, Omar, for your kindness and for that unforgettable lemonade!
- Lovepreet (10/5): Highly recommended stay - We loved our stay here. It’s very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable, we slept so well. Location is very nice to relax, we decided to stay here 2 days at the end of our holiday and it was such a calm ending ro our holiday after the chaos of Marrakech. Food was really good too, all of the dishes we tries were without doubt the best we had during our trip. - Jessica (10/5): - Résumer le séjour en quelques lignes à peine est difficile tant il a été EXTRAORDINAIRE ! Tout était absolument parfait. Les lieux sont aménagés et décorés avec goût. Chaque chambre est unique. Omar a été d’une gentillesse sans pareille ainsi que Mohammed le propriétaire des lieux. Nous avons fait une rando de 4h à travers les villages aux alentours accompagnées d’un guide local. Nous avons également fait un hammam traditionnel /massage sur place au Tafantant. C’était extra. La nourriture est divine. Les couchers de soleil splendides. Nous étions venues chercher du calme et de l’authenticité, cela a été même au-delà de nos attentes. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute!

- Faye (9/5): A peaceful, scenic stay with great food and friendly service. Highly recommend. - One of the most beautiful hotel grounds I’ve seen. The views all around the property were incredible and there are so many different spots to relax and read your book. The food was also amazing, highly recommend the fish tajine. The manager was so attentive and ready to answer questions at any time of day. I highly recommend staying here. The bed was quite hard although for 2 days it was absolutely fine. Our shower was blocked so it would flood the whole bathroom when we showered.

But I wouldn’t go here agai - The property was clean and well looked after There was no lock on the door to my room. The key wouldn’t lock the door and when we reported it, we were told it would be fixed in the morning of the following day but it wasn’t.

- Joanna (10/5): Really enjoyable stay in beautiful hotel in the Moroccan countryside - A gorgeous hotel in a stunning location with views over the valley and mountains. It's like a (Moroccan) home from home. Really comfortable and the perfect place to relax, especially after the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. There were lots of different spots around the property where you could sit and read or chat or just admire the view. The food was exquisite too and we couldn't have felt more welcome.

- Talya (9/5): A tranquil, remote guesthouse where you can unwind and enjoy peace and quiet. - Location, views, facilities, food, staff. This location is very far from any shops / supermarkets. It would be great if they could provide snacks or smaller meals - as the only meals you can have are very big tagines at any point in the day which take long to prepare.

The Hammam and Massage was amazing. All the little spaces to chill, including the pool, were super. The decoration was so beautiful and the room was spacious, comfy and really amazing. I will definitely be back to stay again for a longer period of time. Oumeida is a real star! The plastic loungechairs arrround the pool are a bit ruining the overall artsy, and eco-friendly vibe of the place.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable with lovely handmade items. Pool while chilly is refreshing and the grounds are beautifully kept and full of birds and flowers. Food is excellent and plentiful, breakfasts are delicious featuring homemade jams and local honey, we thoroughly enjoyed the dinners as well with amazing tagines. Idriss and Oumaima were always on hand or at the end of a WhatsApp to help with planning dinner, snacks or mint teas, and were both so welcoming it was very hard to leave. An absolute haven of peace and tranquility.

- Sarah (8/5): - - The location is out of the way,if you dont have a car there is absolutely nowhere to go which gives you a chance to relax & switch off entirely. -Scenery is stunning, the views of the snowcapped mountains are incredible and its totally silent apart from the sound of the birds so is super relaxing. -The hotel is decorated beautifully but it is a little rustic. This isnt a 5 star hotel with turndown service so please dont expect that. -Staff are lovely, super helpful & friendly. -The pool is gorgeous & the grounds are also lovingly taken care of but theres a few little things that would a stay even better...Some games or packs of cards being available would be nice. Dinner was served very early when we were there (due to ramadan) so it left us with a long evening before bed so to have the option to play a game would be nice and perhaps have a little background music on in the restaurant and common areas. -The main thing that would stop us coming back though is the price of food. Whilst the food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious it was quite expensive, coming from the UK we found it more expensive than back home. Again, what would be a nice idea would be to maybe have an honesty 'bar' where you could buy drinks/snacks in the evening when staff have left as once dinner is over there is nothing to eat or drink unless you bring it with you. If you want wine BYO! -Overall a great find and lovely stay. Just room for a few tweaks to make it fabulous (in my opinion!)

Amazing hospitality from Abdoul and all the staff, the food was delicious and the location was so peaceful. Observe the beautiful mountains in the day, go for a trek and sit by the fire and relax in the evening. Hot showers and comfortable rooms. The setting is full of olive trees, flowers and nature at its finest. We will be back InshaAllah! Don’t hesitate, just book you won’t be disappointed. It was so easy from Marrakech airport too, only 45 mins and they came to pick us up. You will leave feeling refreshed and rested from the mountain air. Everything was perfect, we had peace here

- Ann (10/5): An oasis of relaxation - An oasis of rest, relaxation, pastoral views of farms, mountains and nature. Beautiful rooms which were spacious, air conditioned, had balconies with views. Wake up to singing birds and clucking chickens. WiFi, but no TV. Good location to get to the falls at SETI Fadha in about an hour. Hint-park at the falls at the first P labeled lot to get out and walk through the town. Otherwise traffic and driving is very congested. My only criticism is that the hotel could provide much better instruction to getting to their place once you leave the paved road. For those non-native drivers in a rental car, driving dirt roads through narrow streets (Not crowded) is nerve wracking when you are searching for a place. There are signs point to the hotel some with full name and some only saying “DT”. You must be looking for those because the mapping apps:google, maps.me and Apple Maps do not reliably work once off main road. The road in is dirt and a little rocky. Very low hang cars may be challenged but our little Kia did fine. Go slow. If your first time I highly recommend you do not try finding it in the dark. Once found, the stay will be exceptional. Don’t let the last 10 minutes of dirt driving dissuade you.

Does not take too long to drive by taxi, and thank God we had an airport transfer, arranged by hotel, because in the evening it would have been too hard to find by ourselves. Liked how helpful and professional staff was. Abdul made communicating with property and staying easy and Mohamed was a great guide and host. Thank you, both. Nice swimming pool :) and they have hamam with massage :) I wish I new about it in advance :) You need to book it a day before. Do visit the rooftop in the evening - so nice to feel peace, stillness and hear dogs barking and watch the stars. And ask for a excursion to Atlas mountains. There was some misunderstanding with room booking, which was solved in a split of a second, and we got great rooms. Could have been a mistake on my part. Very good size rooms, and comfy beds, the only thing that could be extra good if there were few sizes of pillows provided, as they were too big for my personal taste, so two pillow options would be great. Nice breakfast, liked the authenticity and quality of the food, as well as the fact that if you did not want pancakes, you could always have local eggs - relatively rare option in Marrocco. Overall, enjoyed our stay. Wish could have spent more time. A minor detail, like missing hook for the towel :), or missing cup for water in a room, which has been solved by now :)

- Betsy (10/5): Unforgettable <3 - Everything!! The setting is absolutely beautiful!! Mohammed and Abdul were amazing hosts and did everything they could to make our stay perfect. They helped organise a hot air balloon ride and pick up from Marrakesh! Which was amazing, and coming back to serenity after the hustle and bustle was much needed. The pool area is so beautiful. You really feel like you are in the middle of heaven. Food was beautifully swerved in either their incredible terrace, or on cooler evenings inside restaurant which does not disappoint! We even treated ourselves to a hammam and massage.... bliss. BIG UP to Abdul who is currently studying English, and is just the most amazing host. Will be a friend for life. cannot wait to come back!!
