I had 2 massages because my massage therapist Fai was so good! I've had a lot of massages over the years but Fai was by far the best massage I've had. I like firm strong massages and I had to ask her to do a little less pressure and I've never had to do that! She was so nice, personable and caring. I couldn't get enough! I haven't had too many Thai massages but I love the stetching! I can't say enough good things about Fai!

The hotel is beautiful, the breakfast had many great options, and the complimentary daily afternoon tea was a lovely touch. The highlight of my stay was definitely the massage. It was honestly 10/10. Special thanks to the therapist, Fai, who is incredibly skilled and professional — easily one of the best massages I have ever had. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Chiang Mai.

Everything about this hotel was sublime, the attentiveness of the staff, the amenities, the pool in the room — and as a germaphobe, the cleanliness of everything. I couldn't ask for a more picturesque setting for our vacation. I enjoyed the Ala carte breakfast buffet too. But the best part of our stay was probably our interactions with Fai, and at the Inside House spa. She was meticulous, kind, and she made the massages we booked were divine and settled us right to bed. I can't wait to go back!

The inside House è un angolo di paradiso: lo staff è genuinamente gentile e disponibile, la cura dell’ospite qui è ai massimi livelli. le stanze sono incredibili (la nostra aveva una doccia con tre diversi accessi e la vasca sul terrazzo), ogni giorno abbiamo trovato fiori e frutta fresca in camera e alla sera un dolcino della buonanotte. La colazione è alla carta e i piatti sono piccoli capolavori di alta cucina / pasticceria. Nel nostro pacchetto era compreso l’afternoon tea con pasticceria dolce e salata assolutamente delizioso. La piscina è ampia e molto pulita, la posizione è centrale e comoda a tutti i templi principali. Infine alla partenza ci è stata consegnata una sorpresa! The location of the hotel was in old city and walkable to anything within 15-20 minutes. the staff were super helpful The bodhi suite pool room 404 had pigeon droppings inside and around our pool including the steps leading up to the pool and on the seat. We also had an ant infestation, they moved us to another room for a night (regular pool suite) however aside from a complimentary dinner meal we did not receive any other compensation

The service is typically Thai, polite, gracious and first class, never expecting anything in return (except for a tiny tip which goes down well) like a nice cup of tea! The music in the restaurant is bizarre alpine accordion style, like it’s snowing outside. Talking of tea, you get it free every afternoon along with cake, lots of it so be prepared for a calorie catastrophe, but well worth it. The bedrooms have character the shower is as good as any thunderstorm and the roll top bath luxurious. And then there’s the elephants, those cheeky chaps make this place a Dumbo paradise, they are salt and pepper shakers, in the bedroom, bathroom and reception like there little trunks can’t wait to see you again. A joy to visit, a dreamy breakfast, a relaxing pool surrounded by ferns and flowers in the middle of the ChiangMai carnage, count me in.

If you like spa services while on walks in the neighborhood there are many within walking distance and very inexpensive. There is a darling little shop just across the street. No sidewalks while walking though. The food at the Inside House is delicious, and they also have Afternoon Tea, INCLUDED. . Here in an outside charming area, you don't want to leave plus all the goodies are as tasty as they are beautifully visual. We loved our stay

The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the experience. Our room was beautiful, with an exceptionally comfortable bed and a superb bathroom and shower. The amenities were thoughtful and of high-quality, and we enjoyed the generous complimentary snacks delivered to the room each day. Breakfast and afternoon tea were both included with our booking and were highlights. The selection featured some really interesting and unusual options, making each meal feel special. The hotel itself is simply gorgeous. Even on a smoggy Chiang Mai afternoon we found ourselves happily lingering by the pool and soaking up the atmosphere. The staff have been trained to be attentive to their guests needs and were friendly and helpful without being intrusive. We wholeheartedly recommend staying here and truly hope to return one day.

- 125byronm (10/5): Immaculate and welcoming stay in Chaing Mai - The Inside House was a lovely experience! My husband and I stayed here while in Chaing Mai on our honeymoon. The place is stunning, decor tasteful, rooms immaculately clean and extremely friendly and helpful staff. They go the extra mile to make sure you feel welcomed and catered to throughout your stay. Could not recommend enough!

Сетевые отели и эко-виллы слишком далеко от достопримечательностей, а этот прямо в старом городе. Номер с бассейном соответствует фото, вода в нем с подогревом. Каждый день приносили чай с закусками и сладостями на обед, завтраки были по меню, на ужин можно было заказать сет местной кухни на плавающей тарелке в бассейн. В спа если просишь аккуратно, массаж нормально делают) Вид, обстановка, подача еды - все идеально для фото в инстаграм) Цены на еду в ресторане порадовали, даже дешевле, чем в других заведениях в городе)

- Englishman_in_NJ (10/5): An Oasis in Old Town Chiang Mai - The Inside House has a very calm, low key vibe, it's an oasis from the noise and bustle of Chiang Mai, and yet in a very good position to see the key sights. The architecture is beautiful, has a somewhat colonial feel to it. A few of the things that made it stand out on our trip: 1) Service was impeccable. Everyone was beyond helpful, at all times 2) Outdoor pool was beautiful, on the roof, and typically only 1 or 2 people there at a time. 3) Breakfast was delicious, included local specialties, and had a wide choice. 4 )Afternoon tea, which was included, was an amazing benefit. And even served poolside if you choose 5) The King Bedroom was spacious, well designed and comfortable. The lighting and architectural features made it seem very luxurious Booking directly with the hotel gave some extras such as included laundry, free dinner, transfer to the airport. We stayed at the Peninsula and a Banyan Tree resort on this trip, and yet in many ways The Inside House was the best of the bunch, and certainly on a par in terms of service and relaxation.

- 992IvanC (10/5): Little paradise in middle of Chiang Mai’s old-town - This hotel with the exceptional friendly staff is really like a little paradise in middle of Chiang Mai. The attention to details is remarkable. Everyone at this hotel is making you feel like being part of the nice “inside house family”. I can really recommend this nice place to everyone who appreciates friendly people in a very nice “old-style” hotel. Everything is very clean and the service is outstanding. Breakfast is served and of high quality. In the afternoon you get coffee or tea included little surprises. Thanks for this very nice experience. If we come to Chiang Mai again I will definitely come back to you!

Das Hotel hat eine sehr charmante Austrahlung und man fühlt sich von der ersten Minute sehr wohl dort. Am Nachmittag gibts Kaffee und Kuchen was immer wieder ein Erlebnis ist! Die Zimmer sind nicht sehr gut gegen aussen abgedichtet und hellhörig, darum kann man die Leute außen relativ gut hören, jedoch war es bei unserem Besuch immer ruhig in der Nacht. Es hat sogar Oropax im Zimmer falls benötigt ☺️👍🏼

- 642anujp (10/5): Gorgeous boutique hotel that really spoils you. - The Inside House is one of the most beautiful boutique hotels we have stayed in anywhere in the world. The hotel itself is stunning - the rooms, the balcony bath, the swimming pool, the dining courtyard. The staff are so attentive and amazing, and there’s a lot of attention to every detail. So much is included in the stay such as a full afternoon tea, minibar and gifts in the room every day. It truly is a fantastic place to stay and is right in the old town so central for everything. We never stay anywhere twice but this is one we would come back to just for the hotel.

Most days it was excellent, but on a couple of occasions the coffee had that bitter, burnt taste you get when they've tried to squeeze another cup out of grinds already used.

- Atmosphericriver (10/5): Couldn’t ask for better!!! Perfect stay! - Possibly the best hotel experience of my entire life. At first I was worried about the location (on a very busy street) but as soon as you step inside you feel peace and it’s surprisingly quiet! The staff is amazingly warm and helpful (I wish I could remember everyone’s names—Big and Amp were two of the front desk folks who helped us but there were so many more). I think I will remember the delicious breakfast and tea for years to come! It was all included in our room rate, as were other thoughtful touches like a souvenir/gift, a ride to the airport and a few pieces of laundry. The room was extremely comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was a little cold to swim while we were there but the pool area is so lovely that I enjoyed just sitting there and reading. One day we wanted to see some wats a bit last minute and staff was able to set us up with a wonderful and reasonably priced driver for a half day, and it all happened within minutes! You really feel cared for from start to finish—they even packed us a snack for our next flight! I really couldn’t ask for better. If you are debating between this and other Chiang Mai hotels, THIS IS THE ONE, I promise.

- Michelle2013 (8/5): Just a hair short of 5 stars - 4 plus stars. Beautiful boutique hotel with very nice service in good location. The hotel is very photogenic which is part of its appeal. The service was very good and the rooms were clean. The only real complaint was there was nowhere to unpack- only one closet cabinet with one drawer. The bathroom and pool area are spacious but the room is tiny. We also didn’t love the restaurant-yes there were a lot of freebies, but we didn’t want to eat any of it. The reason for 4 stars is this hotel has priced itself into the luxury hotel category. We felt the experience fell just short of a true luxury hotel. I really wanted to love it.

- Connector66246228955 (10/5): Stunning! Your friends will be jealous of this hotel! - This hotel is on the pricier side for Thailand and so I almost didn't book it but I am glad that I did. The room was absolutely stunning. The rain shower was bliss and the old fashioned claw foot bath was huge. Everything is beautiful and luxurious. They provide wine and fruit when you arrive, and have a proper hairdryer and straightener in the bathroom, as well as luxe toiletries. On the first night the air conditioning in my room was quite loud and I let the front desk know expecting that they wouldn't be able to do anything about it but they serviced it when I was out for the day and it was much quieter after that! 10/10 for service. My room was also super quiet (no traffic noise, no noise from other guests). The hotel pool is droolworthy and makes you feel like you are in some old hollywood movie! The included breakfast was made to order and served in the most beautiful courtyard. The whole place is an insta photoshoot and a beautiful relaxing oasis in the centre of Chiang Mai. There are also several great coffee shops nearby.

Although we chose a room without a pool (308) we absolutely were delighted with the room, staff and space. The meals (breakfast, afternoon tea and dinner) were all excellent. Probably our favorite breakfast of a three week trip through Thailand. We normally don't eat where we stay, but the atmosphere food and service were all so wonderful that we ate there 3 of 4 nights! The bartender, Best, makes an excellent dirty martini! This was truly an oasis in Chiang Mai!
