• Ndivho (10/5): Lovely - At Maya Manor, I really loved how kind and welcoming the host, Donna, was. We originally booked the upstairs room that didn’t have access to the pool, and when we asked if we could move to the one with a private pool, she gladly allowed us to. She even bought us champagne since we were there for our honeymoon. She truly made our stay very comfortable and special. The cleaner was also incredibly kind and welcoming — she really knows her job well. I honestly think her salary deserves an increase 😂. Overall, we had such a great time and enjoyed every moment of our stay. Absolutely nothing at all… everything was perfect
• Kay (8/5): Comfortable convenient stop over in hoedspruit with a lovely compact pool area. - Neat little unit. Loved sitting outside by the pool. My kids enjoyed swimming very much. Some maintenance required - TV unit needs to be repaired - it’s broken . Silicon Cooking utensils look damaged/burnt and need replacing. Fresh or UHT milk for coffee would be nice and a filter coffee plunger.

• Rodney (5/5): Not a friendly atmosphere. in need of tender loving care. - It is a self catering unit, thus no breakfast was served. Location is good. The showers are definitely not up to standard, mould should long ago been attended to. Pool area is not a friendly space, the gas braai is delapidated. the sunbed and pool cover needs to be replaced, garden also not friendly. The purified water in kitchen was not filled and empty, the wires of the TV and wi-fi VERY untidy.No shelf in bathrooms, no chair or table in bedrooms, to summarise, it was a mediocre experience. The location is close to town which suited us. The apartment is very well appointed and we were very comfortable there. There was nothing we did not like.

• Su-Márie (9/5): Quiet and Peaceful Stay in Hoedspruit. - It was safe, comfortable and quiet. It had everything we could need during our stay. I really liked the layout of the apartment. The location and check-in was seamleas. I can imagine coming back here when our baby is a bit older and he would enjoy the swimming pool even more. I saw some reviews regarding cleanliness and I just want to point out that I really do think this apartment was clean enough. There's a few places on the walls in the bathroom that can have a good scrub but really nothing to the degree that the negative reviews went on about.

• Mikateko (10/5): Home away from home - Ruth and Donna are great hosts. Donna made sure that my check in and all the admin was seamless and Ruth cleaned the house everyday. They are friendly and I felt at home because my stay was longer. It would help to have a work station (desk and comfortable chair)

The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the place was spotless and well-maintained. What really made the stay special was the warm welcome and cosy atmosphere - it truly felt like home. The owner was super friendly and always willing to lend a hand. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to rest!

Loved the Nespresso coffee machine, DStv. A delightful space to relax and recharge. Front garden area needs some maintenance as it was a bit sandy and gravelly when fetching our luggage from the parking. Water from one of the shower heads spilled over the shower door, needs to be fixed. Pool light was not working

The unexpected extras (e.g. carton of milk in the fridge, easy access to unit) made me feel like I was visiting with friends, not only renting it for 2 nights. The only thing I disliked, was leaving!
