- Christina Yijie (9/5): Great Taiwanese tribute to a Japanese ryokan stay - Very clean, classically Japanese style tatami room with a private bath, very close to an authentic Japanese experience. Staff were extremely professional and helpful. The hotel location is a little tricky to get to as it is at the top of a hill, but a free shuttle service is provided by the hotel every hour from Beitou and Xinbeitou stations, otherwise a taxi is recommended. The hotel was gigantic and we were one of the few guests there in late February, so we had the communal onsen facilities to ourselves our whole stay. The onsen was very clean and well stocked with amenities, water, with a sauna and 4 different baths. There was also a swimming pool, 'happy hour' of free drinks and snacks in the afternoon, and free air hockey to play for entertainment. Water pressure on the showerhead was also excellent. Breakfast buffet was decent had a mix of Western and Eastern options, similar to a standard Japanese ryokan breakfast. Unfortunately the dinner options were relatively pricey and limited (Western style dining), so we went into Beitou town instead. You can also order Uber Eats to the hotel.

- WENPEI (8/5): 房間很舒服，服務人員很仔細回答疑問，很親切。 - 有接駁車很方便 房間燈光明亮 窗景可看到日落，很美 隔音不錯 大衆池階梯太高，對銀髮族不太友善，沒有蒸氣室，休息的躺椅只有兩張，梳化間只有3個位置，整體大衆池亮點不足。 房間入口處可以安排一張小椅子，方便人穿鞋。 泳池的舞臺不是正對座位區，視野有點奇怪。

- Clarissa (10/5): A relaxing retreat - The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The biscuits and ceramic teapot and teacups in the room were a nice touch to elevate the experience. Appreciated the free shuttle bus. The hot spring bath tub in our room was clean, big and easy to use. Visiting the Hot Spring Museum and the Thermal Valley was a walkable distance from the hotel, although we took a route which was steep at times, downhill. Definitely recommend taking the free shuttle bus back to the hotel. The food at the buffet breakfast was average.

- 友美 (7/5): スタッフの方の接客が本当に素敵になってました。とても気に入っているのでまた来ます！ - ●今回2回目の利用です。今回、スタッフの方の笑顔での接客がとても印象に残りました。ポーターの方、ドアを開けてくださる方、そしてカウンターでチェックインの際の女性スタッフの方、みなさん笑顔でとてもフレンドリー、親切に接してくださいました。台湾在住なんですがなかなかこういう接客はないので、さすが5つ星だな～と感じました。（到着してすぐの印象って、すごく大切ですよね。） ●プール併設のBarのスタッフの方も、とにかくスタッフみなさんとても親切で素敵です！ ●お部屋のアメニティの飲み物とお菓子（全部美味しい）が豊富でうれしいです。 ●部屋のテーブルの清掃がイマイチです。 テーブル上にシミがたくさんあったので「もう落ちないものなのかな？」と思いつつ、自分でウエットティッシュで吹いたら全部落ちました。しっかり清掃してほしいです。 ●細かい事なんですが、お部屋の花が造花なのがすっごく残念だな～と思ってます。朝食会場のように生花だったら、印象が爆上がりです。生花を各お部屋に置くのは大変だと思うのだけど、造作を置くなら絵などに代えた方がまだ印象が良いなって思います。

The hotspring facilities are clean and of good standards. The hotel is up the hill and quite a walk from the MRT station. Shuttle service only runs once an hour.

- Frédéric (7/5): Good hot spring; old style of management, poor breakfast - The location is nice; and hot spring is relaxing. The standard of service does not justify its price. Se of the staffs are not very pleasant, welcoming or lack of professional training. We were surprised to find that we need to go to reception to pick up paper bowls when we called room service asking for plates and forks for our dessert. The breakfast has limited selection and seems very carelessly displayed; the quality is poor. We stayed in sun moon lake at one of the hotels that at the same price range and the level of service in every details was what we expected, but not Asia pacific unfortunately. It is a hotel with good facilities that has everything to be a good hotel but the level of service and quality of the breakfast need to be improved.

- Zhenhui (10/5): Very comfortable stay, my family enjoyed our time at the hotel. - In-room hot spring tub, Japanese style setting, spacious and clean, cosy ambiance. Plenty of snacks provided, coffee machine is a plus point. Children were provided with their own pair of kids slippers and kimono which they felt respected. Good breakfast! Nothing. Everything is better than our expectation!

- Tsz Ki (7/5): Room and facilities are great, but don't expect much from staff - the room was amazing, spacious and access to hot spring water, the bath was amazing and the tea room within the room is relaxing with a view We were approved of late check out 11:30am upon check-in but by 11:09 we were called to rush to check out by reception staff as if there was no communication. Restaurant staff seems quite oblivious to menu and dinner options, also rather quite unapproachable or not particularly friendly.

- Ca (8/5): Lovely for a short stay, you'll have to travel out if you want more activities! - Place was well located, a short shuttle from the mrt stations but quiet as well. Breakfast was wonderful too! Just note that it is rather quiet. My mom and I had the hot spring baths to ourselves that night and the next morning while we were there. Facilitiews were very well maintained and I enjoyed the stay. There isn't much else to do at the hotel though, I checked in at 5 to find that the bar had closed for the day.

- Gilles (10/5): Great stay - Giving a 10 for the private bath with thermal water in the room. The location is ok with a bus stop nearby. The restaurant was good for both dinner and breakfast. The staff was nice, trying to help despite the language barrier. The public bath was also very pleasant with different water temperatures to soak in. Nothing to complain about

- Johanna (10/5): - A very stylish & beautiful hotel with lush surroundings. We in particular enjoyed the private onsen in the room. Good breakfast. The shuttle bus to metro was useful. The dinner was slightly overpriced.

La vasca interna in camera con acqua termale veramente un grande plus! Per chi fa una notte sola il check-in alle 16.00 è un po’ tardi rispetto al prezzo pagato considerando il check-out alle 11.00

- Maria Cecilia (6/5): - It’s not really worth the money, specially if you only go one night to relax. It’s a very family oriented hotel, staff is super friendly and easy going. Shoutout to the housekeeping staff, she was very welcoming. But all in all, the hotel doesn’t offer much besides the hot spring if you’re an adult. Rooms were ok, no special anything really… and for the price, I’ve had much much better but I think you could expect more than just “a room” and breakfast. Would look elsewhere if you’re a couple trying to chill for a night or two.
