• David (2/5): No recomendado - La limpieza no era adecuada, zonas sin limpiar del todo, habian pelos de otras personas en las almohadas y sabanas de la cama, no se si por que no se lavan correctamente o por que no lavan. El grifo del baño estaba suelto y muy pequeño. La mampara de la ducha tambien necesita renovarse o limpiarse a fondo. Cuando la gente pasa por el hall o suben las escaleras se escucha mucho y puede llegar a molestar. Hay humedad. Para pasar una noche de paso vale, pero no mas. Muy pequeña tambien.

• SIMON (10/5): Great room,great location ,quiet and good value - Very pleased with the room ,nice and clean , towels and kettle provided . Location very good , 5 mins from Sao Bento train station with plenty of cafes nearby for breakfast ,very quiet too considering location . Check in made very easy and reception contacted us to confirm when we would be arriving . Could be awkward to find the rooms but on checking in we were shown photos and they added it to our google maps on phones which took us straight there . Very good value ,would saty again and happy to recomend
• Luis (6/5): - La propiedad necesita mantenimiento y limpieza en las zonas comunes ej. Escaleras lobby. El baño del cuarto para usar el toilet y lavamanos tienes que pasar por la ducha que debido a la humedad se mantiene todo el tiempo mojada, no hay tohalleros en el baño para poner las tohallas y siempre se mantienen humedas, no tienen um espejo en el baño para afeitarse, la unica ventana del cuarto esta en la ducha wifi con muchos problemas en el 2do piso, gracias a Miro el que atiende la propiedad trajo un router portatil y se pudo conectar, en fin la propiedad necesita un poco de atencion como tapar algunos huecos en las paredes de la escalera y pintura, la calle de primera impresion parece mala, pero no lo es es tranquila.

• P Y (10/5): - Great and peaceful stay in Porto Villa. The location is very convenient. The teams are very friendly, they shared a list of places to visit and recommended restaurants with local foods which are awesome!!
• Glen (6/5): - Property is on a steep hill, if raining it is hazardous. I saw a church patron wipe out on the incline. Strange bath set-up, had to walk through the shower to get to the toilet. I had very poor internet connectivity.
• Verified traveler (6/5): Okay for a couple nights - The location is amazing - but there were several things that needed improvement, especially for people who plan to stay more than a couple nights (we stayed 5). For instance, there were no towel hooks to hang our towels and therefore they got really gross and it was quite unpleasant. We had to kill a few big bugs, but that is most likely because we were ground floor with a patio. The tap on the sink wasn’t fitted properly. The sink was far too small to do anything, water would go everywhere. The extractor fan is extremely loud, there is no light in the shower and the shower would block and fill up to our ankles. So overall, it was a pretty disfunctional apartment. We are young and on a budget so it was manageable, but I wouldn’t recommend for anyone who wants more comfort.
• Sebastian (6/5): - Perfekt läge och närhet till allt i stan. Väldigt skön säng men i övrigt ett dåligt rum där mycket inte är som det ska. Wifi fungerade knappt, väldigt lite utrustning samt otroligt dålig planlösning. Ett okej boende men verkligen ej prisvärt.
• Adrian (8/5): - Indudablemente la localización es muy buena y mi habitacion tenia una vista (desde la unica ventana que habia situada en la ducha) de 10. Para mi gusto eché en falta un microondas y unos cubiertos para dos. La cama es cómoda y la recepción fue muy buena, la chica que estaba por la mañana se portó genial con nosotros. Cuenta con aire acondicionado frío y también de calor una estufa. Lo peor es tener que pasar al baño, zona de aseo y vater, teniendo que atravesar la ducha que suele estar mojada, y la puerta del baño no era comoda de cerrar. Yo fui con un amigo y pusimos toallas en los dos lados para mojar lo menos posible el suelo y se solventa el problema pero si buscas un lugar amplio esta habitación no lo era desde luego. Quitando eso es un sitio economico y céntrico para hospedarse. Ademas cuenta con otras habitaciones si buscas mayor comodidad.

• Saiqa Anne (2/5): Not worth the stress, don’t do it - Location great, room as advertised, but service is appalling to the point of not ever considering this again. No issue with remote check in, and not on site, but you have to be responsive- they are a joke. You cannot get ahold of them, they turn off the app messenger and give you a number then don’t respond. I thought I wouldn’t be able to check in- this on the back end of a 24+ hour trip, very stressful, totally unnecessary due to thier lack of professionalism. Don’t do it, not worth the stress.

• Verified traveler (6/5): Localização Central - A '"taxa de serviço" que o hotel cobra fora do preço associado é um esquema muito estranho e inaceitável, cria um sentimento de engano que é totalmente desnecessário. O estabelecimento é simples e confortável, boa opção para uma estadia central.
• David (10/5): In old town. - The building Is traditional on the outside and super modern On the inside, with a balcony, a coffee machine and instant hot water. In the old part of town it’s surrounded by cobbled stoned streets, local history and some good eateries, and bars. Had a problem with the air con heating, but they attended to it within an hour. Finally, just a short walk to the Douro River area and it’s restaurants and bars. Could have supplied more than two coffee machine capsules for my four night stay though.

• Amandine (8/5): - L accueil impeccable. La " receptionniste" est tres sympathique et souriante et à fait l effort de parler francais. Elle Nous a fourni un plan avec les lieux a visiter. J'ai appelé en arrivant et elle est arrivée 10min apres. La chambre impeccable et propre. Le seul bemol cest la salle de bain. La douche limite insaluble.
• Cirsten (4/5): - Checked in around 2pm, the room was NOT ready. A staff reassured me to send a message/text once it is ready, but never heard back from him. Then, to my surprise, woke up to a giant cockroach crawling on the white curtains! #gross
• Verified traveler (8/5): ハプニングは多かったけど、総合的には良し。 - 価格が安いのであまり期待していなかったのですが、想像以上にキレイで快適。コーヒーサーバーやアメニティなど充実していた。チェックイン担当の女性がとにかく素敵な方で、ポルトについて色々と教えてくれた。 残念な点としては、チェックイン時間を事前に連絡していたが、時間を過ぎてもアパートは開かず。外で待っていたのですが、隣の建物の方が「電話した方がよい」とのことで、電話してやっと今から向かわせますと…。隣の方が声をかけてくるくらい、チェックインで待たされるのはよくあることなのだと分かった。さらに当日がお祭りだったこともあり結局1時間くらい待たされ、長旅で疲れていたので、本当にしんどかった。（来てくれたスタッフは素晴らしかった！）また3日滞在しハウスキーピングがないので、トイレットペーパーが無くなって困った。またトイレの個室では上から水漏れがあってドキドキした。あと周辺の治安はあまり良くなく、怪しげな方が沢山集まっています。

• Alessandro (6/5): - La struttura è minuscola ma graziosa, appena rifatta, le camere lillipuziane, ma la posizione è centralissima, quasi tutte le attrattive della città sono a portata di passeggiata. Il problema è che non c'è una reception, non c'è nessuno cui rivolgersi per ogni evenienza, c'è solo un numero di telefono, e ogni volta bisogna telefonare e aspettare che venga qualcuno. Sennò, nessuno pulisce la camera, cambia lenzuola e asciugamani... niente. Così, alla fine ti scoraggi e ti arrangi da solo. Peccato, perché il prezzo, sebbene non alto, è da hotel, e come tale viene venduto.

Cosas negativas: nadie nos esperaba en la llegada, y por retirarnos 2 hs mas tarde, x tener pequeño accidente callejero, nos cobraron 20 €. Ademas al llegar 14€ por limpieza que no estaba aclarado antes. No recibimos comprobantes de estos pagos.

• Loïc (8/5): - Appartement idéalement situé à 5 minutes à pied de la gare de Sao Bento, de la place de la Liberté (Praça da Liberdade) ainsi que du pont Dom Luis. Personnel accueillant et disponible pour répondre à la moindre question. Appartement propre et calme, donnant sur une petite cour intérieure.
• Allen (6/5): a low budget guesthouse - It was in a renovated house in a narrow street behind the station. We had to call and wait for 20 min before someone came to open the door for the check-in although we informed the arrival time well in advance. We were charged additionally 10 Euro for the cleaning while the room rate was about 50 Eur/night, which was not mentioned at the booking.
• Damien (8/5): - The rooms were cosy but are small for more than one person. Although there is some seedy nightclubs nearby, the surrounding area is quiet. It is in a good central location near all local amenities and tourist attractions. As the positives outweigh the negatives, I would recommend this as a place to stay.
• Verified traveler (2/5): 実際の宿泊費は表記金額プラス10ユーロです！ - 予約確定後、チェックイン5日前になってホテルからメールが届き、そこにClearing feeとして10ユーロ余計に払わなければいけないと書いてありました。なぜ最初からその10ユーロを含めた金額を提示しないのでしょうか。やり方が汚いと思い、良い印象は受けませんでした。
• Gregory (6/5): Nice place but hits and misses - I would stay again, my wife probably wouldn’t. Some things we really liked about the place, but do have your eyes open if you book. Location in the city is spot on, five mins from the central station less than ten to cathedral and top of Eiffel bridge. Also a mini supermarket five minutes away. At the top of the alley is a nice square with good bars and a church view. But the alley it is actually on is rather intimidating which was very off putting on first arrival. Inside the building and room was modern and light. Bonus was a fridge so we got our own drinks and snacks. Downside was not enough loo roll provided for the stay and watery liquid soap. The door to the bathroom was sliding panels which regularly stuck (my wife caught her hand on it because of this). Remember to get in touch in advance to gain access as there is no reception. Once we did call we were met promptly by very friendly girl who took the time to explain the sights and to do list of the city which was a welcome bonus.
• Marley Ap (2/5): Total descaso com o hóspede - Fornecem um telefone de contato para check in e outras solicitações que simplesmente não te atendem! Informam necessidade de avisar horário de chegada e fizemos isto com 72h conforme solicitado na reserva. Avisamos que chegaríamos antes do horário estipulado para check in e não foi colocado nenhum empecilho no primeiro ( único que foi respondido via WhatsApp!). Chegando na cidade, tentamos entrar em contato para que alguém nos esperasse no local ( segundo eles em no máximo 20 min) e quem disse que respondiam as mensagens e atendiam as ligações? Nada! Por sorte estava chegando ao local a senhora da limpeza que nos deixou aguardar no saguão ( senão era na rua mesmo!) e que conseguiu falar com o responsável ( ela conseguiu, nos não) que informou estar no local em 15 min. Após 50 min de espera aparece um rapaz que “ se fez o check in para nós embora a função dele fosse só fazer Check out”. Que gentileza!! No segundo dia tentei entrar novamente em contato com o telefone informado ( que inclusive consta no informe dentro do quarto ) para solicitar papel higiênico ( acreditem, deixaram um rolo no final somente e não consta que isto seja responsabilidade do hóspede em local algum!) e para saber sobre transfer ao aeroporto e horário de Check out. novamente leram a mensagem, não responderam e não atenderam às ligações. Conclusão: não há telefone para contato! Total descaso com o cliente! Não volto para este AL e NÃO recomendo a ninguém!
• Sylvianer (4/5): Impossible de dormir - 3 dancings dans cette toute petite rue. Juste à cote de la chambre si vous êtes sur rue.J 'ai du appeler la police à 1 Heure du matin tous les soirs. Le correspondant pas aimable du tout. Surtout ne pas se loger rua Cimo de Villa. Séjour décevant par manque de sommeil. Il serait normal de se faire rembourser une partie de la location car nops sommes restés 5 nuits.
• Tia Sara (8/5): Nice small room in a good location - The location was good and the room was nice. A bit small, but the patio was great. The check-in went well, although it is important to contact the hotel before your stay so they know what time you are coming in, since there is no reception. The contacting beforehand was kind of hard since we did not find an email address for the place, nor did the phone number work. All in all, worth the stay and the room was clean and nice.
• Montse (6/5): Centrico pero calle "dificil" - Hotel sencillo pero correcto. Habitaciones muy peqieñas para 2 incomodo. Para uno suficiente. Persona que te atiende amable i dispuesto. Muy centrico y a pesar de que esta justo al lado de calles y hoteles buenos, es una calle estrecha, sucia y estas rodeado de prostibulos "cutres". Pero estancia agradable y sin problemas.
• Salomé (6/5): Está céntrico, pero hay clubs de alterne al lado. - Esta céntrico, pero al lado del edificio hay varios clubs de alterne y por la noche escuchamos peleas en la calle. De día no hay problema porque es una calle muy transitada por turistas, pero la verdad que por la noche el ambiente no es agradable.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Guest house senza reception (chiamare prima dell'arrivo per organizzare il check in). Posizione ottima per visitare la città, vicinissima alla metro ed alla stazione di Sao Bento. Arrivarci in macchina per la prima volta può essere leggermente difficoltoso (è collocato in una via strettissima in mezzo ad un labirinto di sensi unici). Non c'è parcheggio privato, ma ci sono tanti parcheggi (autosilos) a pagamento. Trovarne uno gratuito tra le 8 e le 16 è quasi impossibile, bisogna aspettare che i pendolari degli uffici limitrofi vadano a casa.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Ottima posizione, a 5/10 minuti da tutti i punti di interesse e facilmente raggiungibile coi mezzi di trasporto. Le stanze sono piccole ma pulite e accoglienti e il personale è gentile e disponibile. L'unico miglioramento si potrebbe fare mettendo magari un rotolo di carta igienica e un set da doccia in più; molto apprezzato l'asciugacapelli. Penso che se dovessi tornare a Porto, prenoterei nuovamente a Porto Villa.

• Marta (8/5): - Céntrico, al lado de la catedral. El edificio esta arreglado, la habitación es pequeña, pero muy cómoda, sin faltar nada y con patio.

• maria (2/5): THIS IS NOT EVEN AN HOTEL! Stay away! - This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed! It is not even an hotel. It is a house with 3 floors and 6 rooms. It does not have front desk, just a little room with a sofa where somebody is waiting for you, if you tell them at what time you will arrive, of course. The place is extremely hard to find, it is located in a dirty little street, with graffitti everywhere and next to a local with no door but a curtain that looks like a nude dance or something like that. I was so scared of walking with my suitcase from the car to the "hotel", that if the man that was waiting for us would've not be there assuring that we were safe, I would've not stay there. We had to climb the stairs to the 3rd floor, only to find a room so little and basic that I couldn't believe it. The bathroom was unbelievable small, and the most weirdest thing I've ever seen: you have to enter into the restroom from the shower...! These were not the worst... the price was already not that cheap for that place... but the man that was waiting for us required E4.00 for tax, AND E10.00 for cleaning... so I ended paying the fare Hotels.com showed, plus E14.00 more. This hotel is not an hotel, is a joke... A BAD JOKE.
