• nerida (10/5): Absolutely gorgeous, very modern and clean. Thank you - The location was great to walk to the main street. We ate at Cliffys and used the Bathhouse for massages. We loved Daylesford the town was so busy and there was lots to do. Thank you the accomodation was exceptional The only thing was the gate you walk through needed a warning sticker on the front to watch your step as you open the gate. My girlfriend very nearly had an accident by not seeing the red sticker as it wasnt at eye level. Nothing else though.

• Anna (9/5): 70th Birthday family getaway - House was very modern and spacious. Had everything that you could think of to help us celebrate a family birthday . The air conditioner was on for us which made it very pleasant on arrival. The whole family loved it Huge tv in lounge room and main bedroom. Fantastic kitchen and home appliances on hand to use . No privacy screen on the main ensuite. Unable to get cloth dryer and milk frother in kitchen to work ,no recycle bin in yard for us to put our recyling into.considering they had laminated recycling leaflets on how to recycle,Also the landfill bin was still 50 metres away which l had to bring to house

• Jeanne (5/5): An ordinary and disappointing experience on the whole :( - The house was nice with very nice appliances and lovely design and layout Offensive artwork in the bedroom - I didn't pay to be offended, yet, there I was greeted by a couple of vulgar prints masquerading as "art"! Outdoors had months of piled up leaves, indoors was cobweb-ridden!
• Sally (9/5): Delightful, excellent facilities, ideal location, superior furnishings, decor, accessories. - Gorgeous living spaces, quirky, sophisticated, outstanding options for cooking, lovely glassware, crockery. The circular couch fabulous . It was wonderful to arrive and have the heating and music and wine awaiting. It is way more spacious than the photos give it credit for. . Terrific dining area with morning sunshine, secure parking. Fabulous bathrooms. Coffee machine also there with coffee. The owners are clearly wanting to provide a wonderful experience for guests. I think it would suit couples and friends more than family (sister and elderly father) . The artwork in the main bedroom is not 'family friendly!" ;-) it was mostly sparkling clean - (I am being pedantic but the study area had potato chips and dead flies) and the exhaust above the stove top hadnt been cleaned. But otherwise it was immaculate. The garden pots needed weeding and a bit of tidying up in the outdoor spaces.

The only thing we weren’t happy about was that the furniture outside was full of dust and was not cleaned before we got there so we weren’t able to use it. The bbq was uncovered and full of ants.

• Linda (9/5): Overall I would recommend Arena sth, kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfortable with electric blankets, and overal - Every thing was great from the moment we arrived, house was at a comfortable temperature with soft music in the background The home was spacious, clean and decorated well The beds were incredibly comfortable, kitchen was well equipped Location was perfect offering stunning views Issue’s I had with this property, Heater didn’t work aswell as we hoped. Despite adjusting settings, the house remained abit chilly, it has high ceilings and naturally the heat will rise, we were not able to have the heater higher than 21 if I’m not mistaken , we felt the coolness even with the fireplace on aswell. I did contact the host about this, and they were quick to respond but unfortunately no change, we just had to bring out extra blankets to the lounge room Also house had no blinds which affected our privacy, this issue impacted our overall sense of comfort and security during this stay, especially in the lounge and bathroom area

• Joshua (10/5): Bliss! - The property was better than expected! It really felt like my friends and I were on vacation staying in such beautiful surroundings. The double shower was incredible, the supplied kitchen items generous, stylings on point, and the spaciousness felt luxurious. I would definitely stay here again. The lock box for the key could be a bit easier to open -- was hard to see the numbers at night time. But this is not to detract from the experience in any way!

Well equipped kitchen, plenty of towels, house very well supplied with toiletries and personal hygiene products. Nice touch having a bottle of wine waiting for us! Nothing!!

No major problems, but Tv audio quality not great. It could do with a sound bar. Also, no TVs in the two smaller bedrooms. Guestroom bathroom water pressure also very low.

Beds very comfortable. Ducted heating and gas fire welcome as chilly temperatures. Good pre-arrival communication from Daylesford Country Retreats. Booking.com advertises this property as 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom - there are only 2 bathrooms. This was disappointing as being a group of 3 couples the 3 bathrooms option was reason this property was chosen over others in Daylesford offering only 2. Breakfast bar high seating - wire design - not comfortable and can damage clothing.
• Verified traveler (10/5): - Loved the property. Had everything you needed and plenty of space. Only thing we didn’t like was the artwork in the main bedroom. It could be offensive to some people and if you had young children with you it was inappropriate. The ensuite was all open onto a deck, so if you want total privacy you don’t have it. Didn’t worry us. Great place and would book again.
