• Mark (8/5): Big and very good typical Japanese house. - The big house with everything you need including a coffee machine, dish washer and washing machine. Very friendly owner. The mattresses in the bedroom were thin and not so comfortable. The location is not in the center but easy to reach via bus or train.
• Maud (8/5): - Accueil très chaleureux de la part de la propriétaire. Logement très bien situé et bien équipé. Pas de fenêtre dans la pièce à vivre. Dans une des chambres une fenêtre n'a pas de rideau occultant. Dans l'autre chambre les futons sont très durs.

• Мир Мал (10/5): - Удобно расположенный дом. Находится в уютном аутентичном переулке , недалеко от центра . Поблизости есть несколько круглосуточных магазинов. Интерьер дома - приятный микс традиционного японского и европейского стилей . Хорошее зонирование с гостевой зоной на первом этаже и спальнями на втором. На первом этаже есть дверной проем высотой 185 см , если ваш рост больше 185 то берегите голову 😁

• Jing (10/5): Nice place - We enjoyed our stay in Tsumugi inn. The host is very nice, kind and accomodating. It is a traditional house which is very clean with complete facilities. It is near a convenience store and a supermarket. Will definitely stay here when we visit Kyoto again. None

There's a Lawson right around the corner. Overall it was a great experience and we would love to come again if we so happen to be in Kyoto again!
• Hui (10/5): Kyoto trip made perfect again. This is my second time staying at Tsumugi Inn, and will be my go-to option over and over - Super warm host. Super clean and conveniently located. -
• Shu (10/5): A good place for family vacation. - We stayed in a spacious and clean Japanese-style apartment located in a typical residential area. The unit featured simple furniture and a large, fully equipped kitchen with all the necessary utensils. I especially appreciated the convenience of the all-in-one washer and dryer. The host was very polite and helpful, making our stay in Kyoto truly enjoyable The unit might be a little difficult for older people due to the Japanese-style tatami seating.

Fine as it was hot in August and understand it’s usual for Japanese properties but others might miss this too

A good supermarket over the road and cutlery and crockery in the kitchen. The beds were warm and comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water. A washer/drier in the unit was great. Nothing
• Sandra (10/5): It is a lovely town house in a quiet neighbourhood - The location is not in the centre but easy to reach via train or bus and a short walk(with suitcases, I would recommend the train). It was quiet during the night and we could rest well. Conversation via chat were easy and the owner showed us the house and a bit of the neighbourhood when we arrived. The accomodation was fully equipped with a kitchen and we could prepare our own meals, store drinks and ingredients in the fridge etc. and we also had anything provided to take a shower. This was an easy and relaxing arrival. We travelled with four and never had an issue during our stay.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Highly recommended. - This was a really great option for a stay in Kyoto. Close to a JR station we were able to use our rail passes to get around. Our host met us to check us in. Super friendly and efficient and with fluent English. The house is comfortable and spotlessly clean, with lots of thoughtful extras. Washing/drying machine and good kitchen. Highly recommended.
• Janice (9/5): Loved Kyoto but very over crowded with tourists. - We liked ease of getting to Kyoto central from this location. We liked that it was a traditional house. Not cramped. We enjoyed the local restaurants. Kyoto was very clean and we liked the city initiative to encourage all to take their rubbish home. Location to pick up key not the best. Not good if raining. Also due to unforeseen circumstances our host was delayed. We were at the meeting point as arranged. Fortunately we had a phone number to call her and she got there a half hour later. We cld hv been waiting hours.
• Susan (10/5): Beautiful Japanese house Exceeded all expectations - This was perfect! It is a beautiful Japanese house in a quiet residential neighborhood. The host had provided lots of items for our comfort. The coffees and selection of teas were delicious . There was a washing machine with dryer, so we didn't need to pack many clothes. There are restaurants nearby, and it is just a 5 minute walk from Tambagutchi station, where regular trains will take you to Kyoto centre. There are supermarkets very close by. We really enjoyed our stay in this house, and the effort that the host put in to make it homely and comfortable for us made it exceptional. Thank you for a wonderful stay. It was perfect! Thank you!
