• krijn (10/5): Top verblijf in een hotel waar alles klopt. Een vette aanrader! - We kregen een upgrade naar een kamer aan het zwembad. Alles is fijn aan deze dar. Het is mooi opgezet, de kamer is super. Het zitje bij de kamer uitkijkend over het zwembad is heerlijk. De bediening is top! Je kunt een lekker biertje bestellen en het eten was heerlijk. Ook het ontbijt is super met niet alleen maar Marokkaanse specialiteiten. Helaas waren we hier maar 1 nacht… -

• Radu (10/5): Warmth Behind the Walls of Taroudant at Dar Tourkia - After crossing the Anti-Atlas mountains, the temperatures dropped dramatically. We even experienced 6°C on the road while driving through clouds at the 1800m mountain pass. But once we arrived in Taroudant, we warmed up by the fireplace, back in February. The smell of wood smoke mixed with orange blossoms created a wonderful atmosphere. Dar Tourkia was absolutely lovely - a beautiful garden hidden within the old city walls, an excellent restaurant, and impeccable service. Everything was delicious and carefully prepared. We were 2 adults with 2 children, so we carefully booked their rooms with direct access to the pool - you can find them here on booking . It was a good move, although everything they have there looks really nice. It was pure relaxation from beginning to end, and we constantly had smiles on our faces. We also enjoyed walking through the city and admiring the beautiful gates of Taroudant. A truly wonderful stay. We felt extremely good here and would gladly return.

Le buffet du PDJ est incroyable et les repas du restaurant sont très bien. Je recommande le couscous du vendredi.

Par contre la salle de bains vraiment petite pour un établissement qui vise le luxe...machine à expresso en panne (depuis 1 mois ...c'est dommage ) Dans les allées beaucoup de briques de sol sont cassées c'est assez dangereux.

L’accueil a été peu chaleureux et surtout très rapide, pas de présentation de l’établissement, pas d’indication pour le petit déjeuner…. La chambre est propre mais très sombre. Le restaurant est correct mais le service peu cordial.

• Roderick (7/5): Overpriced rooms but the pool is nice and location very good. - Although the standard rooms are mediocre, the pool area is attractive and it is well located away from street noise in the center of the city. Premium rooms by the pool might be better if you if it suits you to be in the middle of pool activity. Rooms are very plain and minimal, doors thin and noisy (other ones banging doors, people in the hall in the morning), and windows small so one will likely resort to AC for air circulation. So not the best value for the price point in comparison to options but nice enough, and the pool and location a plus.

Tout est parfait le personnel charmant les chambres sobres et élégantes, la piscine très agréable (seul bémol il n’y a pas suffisamment de chaises longues ou peut être y avait il trop de monde ce jour là car il n’y a de toute façon pas la place pour en mettre plus …) le petit dej buffet bien achalandé et bon, l’apéro et le dîner dans le jardin top! Vraiment rien a redire on s’y sent très bien on avait prévu qu’une nuit …on a prolongé :-) Le manque de chaise longue autour de la piscine
• Peter (7/5): Wunderschön, aber distanziert - Die Anlage ist wunderschön und grosszügig gemacht: Viele Pflanzen, Bäume, ein Pool, tolle Terrassen, ein schönes Zimmer. Das Personal ist professionell freundlich, bleibt aber distanziert. Das liegt vielleicht an der Grösse der Anlage resp. der Anzahl von Gästen und Angestellten. Beim Frühstück gibt es ein Buffett, was für marokkanische Verhältnisse ungewöhnlich ist und zur Anonymität beiträgt. Wenn man unter sich bleiben und wenig mit anderen Menschen in Kontakt treten möchte, ist dieses Hotel die richtige Wahl.

• Julia (9/5): Tolles, gehobenes, schönes Hotel mit sehr nettem Personal und sehr leckerem Essen. - Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Stadtmauer und ist eine wunderschöne Anlage mit vielen alten Palmen und sehr schönem großen Pool. Wir waren während des Ramadans dort und haben das Fastenbreak-Menu Ftour gegessen was super lecker war. Auch das Frühstück ist sehr lecker und umfangreich.

• MARK (8/5): A pleasant and quiet place for a short stay in Taroudant. - A very peaceful spot tucked away in the corner of the Medina enclosed by city ramparts.Comfortable and quiet rooms with a garden,pretty pool area for relaxing and rooftop terrace. Also a little spa area for massages etc. Good restaurant with professional service and good food.Wine and beer served.Friendly staff. Quiet neighbourhood and a pleasant walk to city centre. It's quite a long walk to the bus station so best to a get petit taxi if you can.Rooms quite expensive.

• John (10/5): A lovely atmospheric hotel in the old Kasbah, beautifully appointed - This is a fabulous hotel, within the ancient walls of the Kasbah. It is very atmospheric and the decor is very stylish, using local materials and craftsmanship. The breakfast was excellent ( porridge, omelets, pastries and great coffee). There is a lovely swimming pool in the main court yard (too rainy for us to use it), and the hotel has great access for vehicles (important if you are going on tours). All great!

The owner/manager was very attentive and delightful - spotted that we had recently arrived and sorted some food and drink for us despite it being mid afternoon. We were there over New Year and they arranged an outdoor disco which was shatteringly loud and kept going till about 2am. It was impossible to sleep. Seemed a crazy decision in view of the very mixed age groups. The room was pretty spartan - not even a chair to put clothes on and the bathroom, rather old and cramped.

Das Essen im Restaurant ist ausgezeichnet. Die sympathische Eigentümerin pflegt Kontakt zu ihren Gästen. Zimmer und Bad waren sehr schön.

• Margaux (10/5): - Magnifique établissement, bonne cuisine. Idéalement situé et calme. Super jardin, malheureusement il faisait trop froid pour profiter de la piscine. Nous avons pris deux hammam/ gommage et massages, super expérience sauf que le hammam n'était pas chaud à notre arrivée. Super petit déjeuner au large choix et produits frais :)

• marie-christine (10/5): Magnifique riad au centre de Taroudant. - Un riad magnifique, décoré avec goût, incéré dans la muraille ce qui lui donne beaucoup de cachet. La propriétaire est très présente pour donner des conseils de visites et randonnées alentour. Le restaurant est vraiment très bon. Nous espérons revenir. Rien
