Guest Reviews
- Roam17580616529 (2/5): Worst experience in hotel Taraji - do not stay at this hotel. - This is one of the worst hotels and resorts I have ever experienced. The hygiene standards are extremely poor—please do not waste your money. They provided moldy pillows with blood stains, and all the comforters were similarly stained. When we brought this to the attention of the front desk, their only response was to offer replacements, but the new pillows they provided were just as moldy. There is poop , trash and dirty towels or lying on the hallway. I have no idea how this place is considered a luxury resort. This hotel should be banned from accepting bookings. Please DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL. It should be sealed until they fix their issues.
- Samir (10/5): - ..
- abhishek (8/5): - Overall good.
- Ritesh (2/5): - The hotel looks quite good in the pictures but in reality it is very run down and dirty. I stayed there for two nights and I have to be honest, I couldn't have stayed there any longer. The bed linen, towels are quite dirty and requests for toilet paper or clean glasses are put off for several hours.
- godfather231 (2/5): Avoid Avoid and just Avoid - Disgraceful - Before booking - checked pictures of rooms and reviews - only to find out that the people left great reviews must have very low standards. Taraji was a total disappointment. Location was ok- Appalling service - rooms were never cleaned properly - even fresh bedsheets were sticky - didn't even give us bottle of water- room service was great only for two days - third day didn't bother to give us drinks ordered and night before checkout food order was placed at 10:13 same time as other guests (they ate and left restaurant)- didn't give us any food till midnight and drinks were given after midnight. No communication from the restaurant that they couldn't cook things we ordered just didn't bother.
Also, rooms were filled with bugs, mosquitoes as well as dust built up everywhere inside. ₹5000 per night was not worth it.
Definitely avoid if you are looking for a hotel with any standard as such - staff were well mannered.
This review is coming from someone who stayed in 5* to 2* hotel and Taraji had to be the worst of all.
- Arun (2/5): - Pros:
1. It is 5-10 min drive from Ayodhya dham.
2. The common lobby area is good with a multi-floor chandlier.
3. Support staff were friendly and helpful.
4. The hotel management were able to arrange a local guide in 30 minutes, which was very helpful to us.
Cons:
1. Old type of hotel, felt more like a motel.
2. Bedsheets and pillows were not clean. Had to request a new pair.
3. The room phone, TV remote controls, water glasses etc felt like they weren't cleaned in years or decades. I told my family and kids to not to touch anything in the room.
4. We felt the hotel management ABSOULTELY didn't care about cleanliness. All of the common areas such as elevator, restaurant, management desk were kept unclean.
5. We opted for breakfast buffet which barely had 4-5 items. Overall it felt like they served it for namesake. Again cleanliness of the breakfast utensils, overall area is way below par.
Overall I would not stay in this hotel again due to their "penny wise, pound foolish" attitude, trying to cut corners instead of focusing on providing a great experience.
- Prash0644 (2/5): Worst hotel experience in india till date - We are a group of 10 traveling to religious places and booked this hotel through a tour operator. And from the time we stepped inside this hotel it was disappointing. Totaly unclean and unhygienic, this place had flies all over, rooms are not clean and requires extensive pest control measures as it filled with cockroaches and flies. Nothing was arranged bathroom were not cleaned, basic things like towel, tissue, soap, water bottles were not provided. Not at all recommended for a family stay and not at all a three star hotel.
- Carol (4/5): - It was dirty. There was no hot water. The rooms smelled terribly of excessive perfume. This is terribly overpriced.
- Kasiraja (6/5): - Food was the saving grace at this hotel. Otherwise Very poorly maintained, building is already shabby, not very convenient to get to temple areas. Staff don’t speak English and Hindi hard to understand . I would not stay again for the price we paid
- anil (4/5): - Place not kept clean, rooms and bathrooms can be cleaner, linen very old need to replace. limited dining options. room and property have pungent smell
- Ankit (8/5): - Good value for the money property
- Ritika (10/5): - Food was superb
- Dilip (8/5): - Good:
- nice car parking space
- easy checkin
- clean facility
- prompt staff
- spacious room
- clean rooms
- prompt room service
Not so good:
- Blankets and bedsheets not so clean
- no hand towels
- had to request for toilet paper
- Suyashag4 (2/5): Worst, worst and worst - "Worst, worst and worst hotel"
Never book this Taraji resort. They will spoil your wedding, function, birthday, engagement and everything.
They don't have continuous power backup. Rooms are not hygiene. They have AC rooms and hall but they don't start AC. Receptionist Durgesh and Ajit are lier.
Please go for LUCKNOW where some professional are there to treat you in well manner.
- Crystal (10/5): They’re Great! - Room boys and waiters!! Great staff, great facilities.
- Crystal (10/5): - The staff were amazing. We rebooked and stayed an extra night. It was just what we needed.
- willowbrooksam (2/5): AVOID at all costs. Noise will make you DEAF - AVOID at all costs. This place is a function hall with rooms.
Some of the rooms they let it out to tourists and pilgrims to ayodhya. All rooms allow smoking and liquor. But that is not all. Every day LOUD music blares from the function plaza. No sound proofing anywhere.
It goes in and in till 1 AM. I called the reception so many times and gave up. I plugged the ears with my Apple headphones and still it was noisy.
Towels and sheets are dirty . They do tk understand the concept of a door mat near the toilet.
Next if you book through a middleman like
TripAdvisor or Mmt, they make it a point to give you the dirtiest of rooms.
Enough said. Ridiculous place. Not many choices in Ayodhya. So they are still In business.
- Sudhendu (8/5): - In general the experience was eventless.
- atashish (8/5): Taraji resort ayodhya faizabad - Good for party and any business purpose meeting.u can stay and enjoy food. One extra plus point he near to ayodhya and ayodhya hiway. U can find ayodhya sri raam temple nearby.Nice atmosphere cleaning up to date clean room and stay room good. food is also very good many type food available best parking place.
- Skswami19 (4/5): Hotel Taraji Resort, Faizabad - A sub-par hotel in every aspect. We spent one night here recently and the only appreciative thing in our experience was the people working at the hotel are very good, polite and helpful. The hotel facilities are shabby and dirty. Food was a bit of a problem.
- Verified traveler (10/5): - Memorable moments I had there which i will never forget.
- Verified traveler (8/5): - It is a lovely and lively place. Nice design and use of space. Food was disappointing even though staff tried to be helpful.
- ArpanPahm (8/5): Best staying experience - During Ayodhya trip we stay in this hotel for one night and one day. Service was really excellent. Staff was friendly and supportive in nature. Room was small but well cleaned and fully furnished. Most of basic facilities available here. We have took break fast in morning. It was tasty too.
- RandhirT11 (10/5): AWESOME PLACE - Great experiance with this resort, decent place and room is also decent, views are awesome, you can enjoyed with family ,friends, couple also, service was good, tasty food, and food quality was awesome,i love this resort beacuse they make me happy for all service
- ritesh (8/5): - Stay was good..property also excellent..enjoyed.
- Sam (8/5): Good location and friendly staff - The hotel is at a convenient location and the property is spacious. The staff were friendly and the food from the restaurant was good as well. They can also arrange cabs for travel at a short notice. The only downside is that we need to always call the housekeeping to refill the toiletries, provide drinking water and make the bed. Also they need to provide more options in breakfast.
- srnayak (8/5): TARAJI RESORT FAIZABAD - This is a new property. Rooms are good. Neat and clean. The resort is located on Chauraha NH 28. Good interiors and spacious rooms.
Food is good. Rooms are over priced. Air condition is working well. Plenty of parking space available. Smooth check in and check out.
Do not opt for Room No.107 as there is no hot water, due to plumbing problem. Otherwise rooms are ok. Room service is slow. Service has to be improved.
- Verified traveler (6/5): Average room and service. - Limited breakfast options. Bathroom smells. Shower does not work. No shelf for keepin soap shampoo etc in the bathroom.
Towels not cleaned well.
- indranilmukherjee_19 (8/5): One of the Best options in Faizabad - Rooms are decent, service is prompt and staffs are good as well.Traditional Indian menu is served pretty well.Being situated right on the highway is fairly easy to commute but if you are planning to travel within the city without your own conveyance, might need to walk a bit to get local transport like battery rickshaws.
Overall the best option so far for me in the town of Faizabad for business trips.
- Vivek-12334444 (10/5): Excellent Service Awesome - Hi,
good evening
i stayed at Taraji resort, i feel much comfortable during stay, rooms was so clean balcony was attached with room,
especially about food, it was so yummy and delicious.
i recommend to every one to stay and enjoy
thanks to everyone
- krishna831 (10/5): Superb - It is new resort in Faizabad. It is situated near devakil bypass at Lucknow Gorakhpur Highway. Rooms are good. and all stop is good. from Faizabad bus stand, railway station and Ayodhya it is situated nearly 10 km range.
- vinayan20152015 (6/5): Though average in infrastructure, food is good! - Visited with family recently. Its just outside Ayodhya on the Lucknow highway. Though a new building with fairly adequate infrastructure, we found the maintenance to be below par. The dining hall does not have a wash room of its own. One walks across to another room nearby for the same, only to find that its door glass is broken and everyone can see inside... I asked for another washroom, and was told that there are two on the next floor. There i found that BOTH of them were in locked condition(!) presumably to prevent staff fro using it....Except this rather non-customer friendly maintenance part. the food proved to be quite good. We went for a vegetarian fare of biryanis and rotis which we found to be tasty and well cooked. The service is also ok, though they seemed to be taking a lot of time with each order....aaBut since the area is bereft of clean and decent hotels (surprising for such a major tourism destination as Ayodhya!) we did not have much choice...We did not spend a night, of course...
