Guest Reviews
- L4443VCstevec (10/5): Fantastic Hotel! - I had a wonderful 4 night stay in early October 2025.
The Hotel and staff were perfect. Excellent rooms, fantastic air con, comfy bed and shower. The food menu is fantastic and at a very good price.
The location is literally on the edge of the desert next to the entrance to the Pyrimds, and there are many shops and taxi's close by for anything you need.
The hotel staff were all super friendly and they did anything you could ask for with pleasure. They also run many organised trips with their own cars to ferry you about and bring you back at the end of the day.
Thank you to Michael for all your help, you were fantastic, and all the other members of staff who were equally as helpful.
Will definitely stay again if I ever return!
- Vikas (10/5): - Pristine views of Pyramids and Sphinx from my balcony and rooftop
- Renata (8/5): - Please visit this property if you want a close views of the Pyramids and Sphinx. It’s is right across the street you wake up and go to bed with amazing rooftop views. The staff will take great care of you providing rides and tours as you wish.As a solo traveler I would recommend.
- Jeremy (6/5): - The rooms looks old can be improved with renovations. Sheets and towels looks old. Water leaks thru the shower door which leads flooding the bathroom after shower. Staff was friendly reported my lost and found item but couldn't provide the above and beyond service in posting the item.
- mthokozisim659 (10/5): Dining with smiles - What an amazing restaurant with the best view to the pyramids and sphinx. Though we went there for the sound and light show but didn’t see the sound and lingo show. This was nothing short of laughter, friendly staff, very well relaxing outlet for everyone. The ambiance was just amazing. We had steaks which were delicious and the drinks were not that bad but not that good either. Do I recommend this place? Absolutely yes.
- Hesham (10/5): - Respectful staff and wonderful view of the pyramids
- Experience115201 (10/5): Best spot of our entire journey in Egypt. A must. - Staying at Pyramid Valley was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Egypt. From the moment we landed, everything was seamless – they arranged our transfer from the airport, which made our arrival stress-free and welcoming.
The location is absolutely unbeatable – right in front of the pyramids! Waking up to that view every morning was like a dream. The rooftop terrace offers a breathtaking panorama, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. We could also enjoy the light and sound show at night from the rooftop.
The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, making us feel right at home from the start. Special thanks to Mahmoud!
Our room was spotless, cozy, and comfortable. The food was delicious – authentic, fresh, and flavorful – we ended up eating most of our meals there!
What really sets Pyramid Valley apart is the value for money and the dedication of the team. They went above and beyond to help us organize our entire two-week trip across Egypt – from tours to transportation – making sure everything ran smoothly and that we saw the very best the country has to offer.
If you’re looking for a memorable, authentic, and hassle-free experience, this is the place. We couldn't recommend Pyramid Valley more – the best stay of our entire journey.

- Tati (10/5): - THE BEST VIEW TO THE PYRAMIDES
- Natasha (10/5): - We had an excellent stay at this hotel! The views from our balcony were absolutely incredible – overlooking the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, it felt like something out of a dream.
The staff were very friendly and always happy to help, which made us feel really welcome. Our room was clean, comfortable, and the air conditioning worked perfectly – a must in Cairo’s heat.
Breakfast each morning was generous and satisfying, with plenty of options. The rooftop restaurant was another highlight – delicious food paired with even more breathtaking views of the pyramids.
The complimentary airport pick-up service was a much-appreciated bonus.
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cairo – the location, service, and experience were all fantastic!
- Fatma (10/5): - I had an amazing time and excellent service hear being so close to the pyramids was beautiful. Although very busy area it was a great stay. I would only recommend to stay around this area if you want to see the pyramids and sphinx however not any longer than a couple of days as the area is not yet properly developed. We went to Luxor after Cairo.
- Larry Lamar (10/5): - This place is amazing. Great staff, very courteous and helped us see everything we wanted to see. Best view of anywhere in Giza. Would definitely recommend
- Evio (10/5): - I recently stayed at this hotel and had an absolutely amazing experience. The staff was outstanding – incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with professionalism and a smile.
One of the highlights of the stay was definitely the terrace, which offers a breathtaking view of the Pyramids! It was truly magical to see them at any time of the day, especially at sunset.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable stay, with excellent service and a view you’ll never forget. I would happily come back!
- wenyuan (10/5): - Thanks
- LEONARDO URIEL LICON (10/5): - We had an amazing stay here, the view is obviously the best thing this hotel has to offer, having breakfast with pyramid view is incredible, service is really good as well as overall quality. I would just recommend improving WiFi signal
- Paul (2/5): - I booked a Super Deluxe Room with a King bed and a bathtub but they gave me the room with 3 beds no bathtub and the patio doors is broken and could not close so I asked them to change the room. They gave me the same room next to this room and I could not believe in my eyes when I was taking the shower, the drain is not working so basically the water is everywhere in the bathroom. Their rooftop is OK but could not see the whole Pyramids as they claimed. Basically, I do not recommend anyone to this very dirty, noisy and unfriendly staff. Bring your money somewhere else.
- Christian (10/5): - A perfect view of the pyramids. Right next to pyramid entrance. By far what made our stay great was the staff , super friendly and helpful 10/10
- Nandita (10/5): - The staff were excellent. The place around is not vey clean.
- Ernest (10/5): - Great location. In front of the Sphinx with Pyramids behind. Restaurant on roof( food is good) superb spot for viewing light show.
Staff did everything to ensure our visit was enjoyed. Will organise tour guides and driver, who were great, for visits to the sights. I sent them an email which was answered in quick time with all tour information. All set up prior to our arrival.
We had a balcony room with view 24/7.
No fuss and made the experience most enjoyable.
- Jackeline (10/5): - Great hotel in front of pyramids. Amaizing staff, They took care of me, protected me and helped me! Always grateful with them!
- Jimena (6/5): - The staff were lovely. Great terrace and views, very convinient to visit the pyramids. But it was very noisy so unfortunately didn’t have a good night sleep.
- Mumeen (10/5): - Very amazing staff and amazing views to go with it. Pick up from the airport is a massive plus. I will return and use the hotel again and again
- Yves (8/5): Amazing balcony view - Location is great for pyramids visit. Elevator but 12 steps to reach elevator.
- Devika (6/5): - Our room was very compact. No window, felt very stuffy.
The shower was not working, dirty towel and bedsheets, i had to ask them to clean everything.
The AC remote was not working.
The only reason to stay at this property is its locatipn and decent breakfast and breakfast view.
- Jose (2/5): - The only thing about this property was you could see the pyramids from it. The hotel is dirty
The towels i think were supposed to be white. The toilet was literally in the shower. The breakfast had flies all over it. The property said they would send a driver to pick us up but the driver was very late. Dont stay here !
- Ronilo (10/5): - Everything was as expected and we enjoy our stay
- John (6/5): Great views but low quality rooms - Hotel with an amazing views of the sphinx and pyramids. Condition of the room and furniture were poor. Bathroom had a foul smell to it. But all and all was worth it for the view.
- Teresa Ann (10/5): - Everyone -hotel and restaurant - staff were very friendly and accommodating - view from rooftop of the pyramids was lovely! Great food!!!! Michael at the front desk was very sweet!!! Would definitely stay here again!
- Helen (10/5): - One of the best located hotels to view the pyramids if you book a balcony room. The staff were so helpful especially Salam, Michael and Marwan in the roof top restaurant. We took advantage of their tours of the Museum and Old Cairo and it was so well organised and meant we got to see a lot more in a shorter time. Crazy Cairo traffic !!!!
- Bianka (10/5): - Beautiful view for the Great Pyramids
- Berta (10/5): - I like it so much , the piramids view amazing, the staff polite and helpful, i would book again
- Cristina (8/5): - The property has a great view of the sphinx and pyramids. I enjoyed the roof top restaurant.
- Adrian (10/5): - stayed at the Pyramids Valley Hotel and had a wonderful time. The room was spacious and very clean, and the cleaning lady did a fantastic job every day. I also appreciated the warm welcome from the reception staff and the friendly team at the rooftop restaurant—they were always ready to help and chat. The food was delicious and of high quality. The hotel is conveniently close to the Giza entrance, which made exploring the area very easy. One of my favorite parts was the view from the rooftop restaurant, where I could see the pyramids during breakfast and dinner every night. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area.
- 791jaydew (10/5): Very good, friendly staff ! - Very friendly staff who did anything to make our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The pyramids are literally on your doorstep! There is a restaurant upstairs which overlooks the whole of the pyramids, literally walking distance away.
- Egavas (6/5): - The things i liked was the front desk.
And cleaning staff. The room was okay. But no window, no fresh air could get in. It was a little stuffy at night.
It terms of the resturant the food wasnt great. I did find places around that were better.
I also believe i was getting ripped off. It was funny how i was not able to pit my drinks etc on my room. Rather they want cash and it was 180 egp pounds for 1 beer. I ended up going to a shop not far and paid only 40 egp pounds.
So i stopped going to their resturant. It was also bad i was not able to sit outside to eat my dinner.
Overall it was okay. Above average apart from resturant area seemed dodge
- JUNIOR (4/5): - the place is good but there are things they have to change because it is annoying for the price I paid .
1) the new years party was 75 dollars more plus your reservation, it does not with it .
2) the room I was it was too noisy to sleep , they have a machine doing something that every time it turns on my room was like being in a factory . So annoying thing .
3)the electrical plugs are very far from the bed which is very annoying while you need charging you phone and being on the bed , electrical plug have to be close to the bead head .
4) the welcome drink is too simple a soda or a beer would be better , not that red thing .
5) you really need magnetic key cards for you doors , it is so annoying using a old key every time you leave the room
- John W (10/5): - Wonderful place to stay with an AMAZING view! Staff was beyond helpful with booking tours. Highly recommend staying here! We will be stay here again on our next trip.
- John (10/5): - Great location beautiful rooftop and excellent dining options
- Mayumi (4/5): - Terrible room but has the best view for sphinx and pyramid
- Prasannadevi (10/5): - We really enjoyed the tour. Salma made arranging the tour very simple from the beginning. She focus on every details and answered all my questions patiently. Our tour guide Ayman is amazing. He is not pushy, gave us options to choose from, highly knowledgeable, explained every details. He focused only on making our trip remembrable. I highly recommend Salma and Ayman.
- Juan (10/5): - The room was clean the staff was pleasant however be aware of the smog and polluted air, be aware of a scams and price gouging with shop owners, always ask first the price, also it is the craziest place you will ever drive a car in. I don't recall seeing a stop sign or a traffic light absolute Madness. Police will ask for money in all of the attractions.
- Antoinette (6/5): - Property is perfectly located near the pyramids, staff is friendly and resourceful. Very loud noise at night so hard to sleep. I enjoyed the stay and felt very safe the entire time and enjoyed the restaurant. Biggest complaint is booking a tour through the hotel and the tour guide clearly pressuring me to spend money as a tourist and requesting I pay them extra for things and taking me to their schemes and shops made the tour not as enjoyable as I was constantly being hassled and pressured into spending money not focusing on the tour itself. Spent very little time at the actual pyramids on the tour and more time being brought to shops and a fake museum then was told I needed to pay additional expenses at the end.
- Luis (10/5): - Great hotel with stunning views of the Pyramids from the restaurant. The food was amazing, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating.
- Ronald (8/5): - Very noisy at night due to the street dogs and construction traffic working on the road at 3.30am! Which led to an unfortunate power cut.
- Adil (10/5): - Propert is in good location you can almost touch the prymids and has rooftop restaurant with magical prymids view.
The restrunt provides variety of foods and shisha smokers can enjoy smoking with a million dollars view. None smokers can go the upper roof. Free breakfast very basic
- 135hughs (10/5): Excellent hotel - What a fantastic hotel sits right at the pyramids complex could not find a hotel closer to the pyramids than this one .the staff were so friendly and accommodating and because I stayed there for two nights I got a free transport to the airport what a service will definitely be staying there again soon the room I was in and food was all first class and the price was fabulous.
- Cesar (10/5): - Amazing view in the rooftop bar
- iain e (6/5): - I arived late at night.i was supposed to be in the boutique part of the hotel, but was put in the other part.
Room was dated brown furniture.
Looked out of my window brick wall.
The shower had a boiler in it not very safe. Shower head had to be on an angle.
The only goid points are its close to the pyramids, its right next to the pay enterance. Not much in foood places. Its ok for a few nights. Hotel staff were friendly and had lots for breakfast.
- julian (10/5): What a view - Stunning view of sphinx from room balcony and restaurant. Comfy beds, nice shower. Very friendly staff. Can get a beer. Next door ATM rip off, use one at nearby bank.
Sphinx ticket office right opposite hotel.
Little bit noisy outside on a Sat night.
- michellewD3709HC (10/5): Great location and friendly staff - I found this hotel whilst looking for somewhere to stay close to the pyramids. From reading the reviews, I believed I was getting a good deal on location and quality.
The location didn’t disappoint - I was so close to the Sphinx and had a room with a small balcony and view of the valley. With or without a balcony, the hotel benefits from a rooftop bar and restaurant on multiple levels, which offered me the opportunity to watch the sunset and see the Giza Plateau at night. Although it was difficult to hear the commentary for the evening light show, I was able to see the pyramids and the Sphinx lit up.
The hotel staff were so helpful and accommodating, even before I arrived. Email communciation was prompt and, as well as arranging airport transfers to and from the hotel, they organised a car / driver, tailoring the itinerary and cost to what I wanted to do during my short visit to Egypt.
I was made to feel very welcome on arrival and, in conversation about local food, was told that they would make the national dish - Koshary for my dinner, despite it not being on their menu. I had this on the rooftop, together with a traditional dessert - Om Ali. Just remember to bring cash if you want an alcoholic drink - they don’t take card payment for this.
Again, it was lovely to have a view of the Giza Plateau in the morning when it is quieter, and breakfast included more local food to try.
I would recommend this hotel if you’re looking for a friendly place to stay, close to the pyramids. It’s location means you can go out to the local shops and restaurants, or choose to stay - as I did, at the hotel where everything is provided for you.
- Delbert (8/5): - The staff is great and will do anything to help you. I booked all my tours through the hotel and had a great driver and professional tour guide, which I suggest you do to prevent getting scammed. The hotel is next to the gate for the pyramids and Sphinx. They have a good restaurant and there are other dining options in the area the room was nice quiet and clean with water supplies in bottles daily.
- James (8/5): - -Quiet
-Close to shops
-Close to Giza Complex
-Friendly Staff
- Thomas (10/5): - The staff was very friendly, The views were amazing and rooms were nice
- Jorge (10/5): - Property is clean and nice, super close to the pyramids, but the best thing is their service. Zayan it’s the best, he was attentive all our trip long, he made accommodations to pick us up from the airport and he facilitated our excursions with guides on our language. I would recommend to trust them because there is a lot of offerings and people trying to sell you things outside the hotel and on the surroundings. Trust them and you will enjoy your trip very much, plus they are not expensive, very fair prices.
- Eduardo (6/5): - The room is smell too much smoke cigarette and that’s not OK and the restaurant is not healthy when we are going for breakfast. Nothing is ready. No tea spoon, coffee no water no milk. They go to bring when we ask. and they take the food with their hands they don’t use gloves
- Antoine (10/5): - Everything is right at your fingertips, the pyramids the Sphinx. The people also make the property lovely.
- Paulina (6/5): - It’s okay, great view from the terrace/restaurant, the stairs smell a bit funky and the rooms could be better and cleaner, but for the price is okay
- Lucas (10/5): - The Pyramids Valley Hotel has the absolute best views of the pyramids and the great sphinx. It was truly awe-inspiring when we saw our first sunset from the rooftop restaurant. Zayan was the best, he was always available via email and WhatsApp, able to help us with anything we needed, and knowing we could always reach him really put us at ease in a place where we did not speak the native Arabic. He made our stay very comfortable and always made sure we had what we needed. The staff was so friendly and helpful, available 24/7. The rooms were kept clean, the breakfast was fantastic, and the room was spacious with a great balcony view of the pyramids. Our tours were incredible, our tour guide Radwa (Instagram: radwa_egypt_tour_guide) was the best guide - we had her for two tours over two days. It was so necessary to have a guide there to take full advantage of our trip, and Radwa was not only the best at getting us the best experience but also the best photographer. This was a trip of a lifetime for my wife and me, and I thank the Pyramids Valley Hotel for giving us the best experience.
- Derrick (8/5): - Incredible location with an amazing rooftop view. Good value for the hotel based on location, restaurant is good enough, decent food and priced fairly. Breakfast included was poor quality
- Kristina (10/5): - I am always staying in these hotel , never disappointed
- Riad (8/5): - The hotel was good. However, it is recommended to stay in the city and come to the pyramid when needed.
It is not worth to stay near the pyramids for a half day tour
- Shah (6/5): - Dont do tour with them, they will take you to tourist traps in between. Asks for 7-8x more for transportation compared to uber. Staff are nice.
- Sheetal (10/5): Friendly and helpful staff - Great location of the hotel. Right next to the sphinx and next to the pyrmids ticket office. Staff is really friendly and helpful.
Restaurant at the hotel is good. Breakfast is included and one way to airport or back was free.
- Shafiul (10/5): - Located in a Suitable Location, very Near to Pyramids and Sphinx
Front Desk staff specially Salma is so helpful, meek and benevolent
I have provided a guide Abdullah by hotel who become my friend by his simplicity along with his vast knowledge on Egypt.
I hope , I will come and meet them again
- Vanessa (8/5): - Good staff, they speak Spanish also. All they need is microwave and laundry and everything will be perfect.
- Nomad27621191433 (10/5): Best views for a hotel - Love this place! The views from the rooftop restaurant are top notch!!! The food was great. Service was great. The staff at the front desk are beyond nice, communicative, and helpful. The room was clean. They always provided me with water before leaving for the day on an excursion. Will be back !
- Allen L. (8/5): - If you want the closest hotel in Giza to the Pyramids and Sphinx this is the property for you. The daytime and night time views, with the light show, are worth the price of the stay. The hotel itself is comfortable and sufficient as a nightly rest from the days activities. Be aware that the city of Giza backs right up to the Pyramid valley and is often gritty, with many street hustlers and vendors clamoring for your attention. The mixture of cars, buses, motorcycles, donkeys, horses and camels all add to the unique atmosphere of the area.
- ayesha (6/5): - The staff was very friendly, the veiw wss amazing. Breakfast was ok. Rooms were clean but bedding was very old and worn out. Bathroom was tiny but had a huge sink which would be an issue for some. Found few hairs kn the shower. Our room was very close to the dining area so could hear ppl cleaning until 12.which was annoying
- Thomas (8/5): - Everything was good except breakfast.
- NASREEN KAUSER (10/5): - We stayed for 10 nights. We had a spectacular view of the pyramids and sphinx. Breakfast on the rooftop also had views of the pyramids, so wonderful to sit there each morning. Buffet breakfast of a good mix of fruit and pastries, typical Egyptian dishes also served. All were well made and very tasty. The staff are what make this place. Reception extremely helpful and we organised all our excursions through them and they were brilliant. Extremely well organised and good value for money. We went for private tours with Egyptologist and driver which I highly recommend. They gave good tips for when we were out and about as well. Highly recommend this place. It’s not super luxury like some of the big brand hotels, but very clean and big rooms and ours had a balcony as well which was nice. Tea and coffee facilities available in the room as well. Special shout outs to Salma, Shanad, Ahmed and Adam as well as all the other staff who were really amazing and made our stay a brilliant one. I would definitely stay here again. The location is excellent as well. Our tour guide was Iman (iron man) and he was so knowledgeable and friendly. We had such a good time. Went to Luxor where Mohammed and Mahmood met us at the airport and were our hide and driver. The second Mohammed was brilliant with us as well on our Nile cruise. I highly recommend doing the hot air balloon ride over the valley of the kings, it was the best thing I’ve ever done.
- Fatiha (8/5): - Everyone was nice and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Thank you and keep up the good work!
- Rebecca (10/5): - The hospitality of this company exceeded my expectations the staff was beyond helpful and kind . Upon my next visit I will be visiting again . Overall 9/10 rating
- Helen (8/5): - Nice hotel overlooking the pyramids and the Sphinx. Room was big and looked out onto the pyramids. Staff extremely helpful. Food was adequate and cheap. Breakfast was below average but you have to manage expectations. Would recommend a stay here over any big corporate hotel. Atmosphere and hussle and bustle is unique!
- Bella Luisa Rodriguez (10/5): - Great view from the restaurant and ok view from room. You can still see the pyramids it’s just not as good as the view from the restaurant lol. I loved how close we were and how they offered tours for everything. Tours are way pricey compared to if you do it yourself but they are all basically private tours.
- Irene (8/5): - It’s a good hotel, very conveniently located next to the Sphinx and the Pyramids. The staff are wonderful, very helpful and friendly.
- Ramandeep (10/5): Hotel like this Makes a Trip - Brilliant staff (reception, maids and restaurant - and extremely helpful concierge). Great Service. Lovely restaurant. Excellent all-round! Rooftop view of the pyramids. For anyone studying or just admiring the Giza Plateau, the close proximity to the main entrance as well as the clear view from the rooftop restaurant of the Sphinx and Sphinx Temple, the House of Osiris, all three pyramids, makes it an ideal location for all. Furthermore, free airport pickup as well as the opportunity to hire a car (and driver) driven by a very lovely driver means you can make day trips to Saqqara and Abu Sir for $25. Truly brilliant experience and will be staying there when I return. It made my first visit to this very special place even more special! Thank you to all the staff!
- hawaii_imani (6/5): be prepared! egypt is a meatgrinder. everyone here will pretend to be kind in order to steal your money. nobody listens. - aloha
this hotel provides an excellent view
zayan & ayman are here to help
breakfast is offered with great variety
many reviews talk about the dishonesty and room downgrades upon arrival - sadly this was also my experience
i would recommend screenshots from the hotel booking agency along with making sure you print very clear details about what room you are paying for
i literally had to pull up the AMEX website in the lobby - then show them my booking as advertised from their company - just for them to accept responsibility and stop trying to hustle me out of the room that i paid extra money for
it's the pyramids - so of course you pay extra for the rooms that have a view
but nobody will listen to you
it's a different culture and you are a tourist so it will be very hard to decipher honesty
they also offer very expensive private tours - mine was horrible
i came back to the hotel in less than one hour after being promised a full refund
in typical egyptian fashion - they did NOT fully refund me and instead charged me $1500 order to pay for the tour guide & entrance ticket
when i explained that i had to go back and purchase my own ticket - they didn't care
when i spoke to the general manager and explained that you don't pay for services not rendered - he didn't care at all
he just sat there with a lit cigarette in his mouth inside the very hotel you are sleeping - and did nothing
that's when i cut my losses
zayan compensated me with a free ride to the airport in exchange for a positive review
average is the most positive thing that i can say but you see for yourself
- fir (10/5): - Great location. It is located just beside the entrance of Giza Pyramid. Clean rooms, from my room balcony can view the pyramids, have roof top restaurant, walk-able to convenience store and fast food restaurant, the staffs was helpful, and value for money.
- Onome (10/5): - Property was excellent, they provided free airport pick up, choice of breakfast was a lot and the service was quite remarkable.
- Peter (10/5): A View to Die for. - I was very happy with my stay. The best thing about this hotel is the view ... straight onto the sphynx and the pyramids. You even get the Sound and Light show for free.
There is a great breakfast with very friendly staff ... it was so nice to go to breakfast and be greeted by name in such a friendly way ... and then to sit and look at the pyramids.
The front desk was friendly ... just one young lady who no matter what I asked, said 'I don't know'. It might have been a language thing.
The person who was in charge of the rooms was efficient, but at the beginning made very clear he thought I wasn't tipping enough. At the end though, he was happy with his tip and took my bag right to the end of the street to the Uber.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend the place very highly.
- Kevin (10/5): - This is the perfect place to stay in Giza! Amazing views of the Pyramids and Sphinx, friendly and helpful staff, good food at the rooftop restaurant, nice air-conditioned room and very helpful ride from the Cairo Airport. My four-night stay in a queen room with a balcony was wonderful! Thank you, Pyramids Valley!
- Jocelyn (10/5): - I love the fact that it was easy to get around everything is walking distance.
- Rayner Assumpcao (10/5): - Very great place
- roshnee (8/5): - View Pyramids from fooftop restaurant.
- Alma (10/5): - Amazing view, the staff is really friendly. We went a little lost not knowing what to do or how. The staff took care of everything organized the tours and amazing tour guide. The food was also good. I recommend this place if what your going for is a great experience of everything.
- Katrina Marie (10/5): - Hotel was Very close in proximity to the Pyramids and Sphinx. They serve buffet breakfast with the same menu every day but it’s ok. Servers were very nice. Watermelon was delicious. They picked up us from the airport in Cairo (1 hour ride to Giza). Just find a different tour if you can. Theirs is expensive. We paid $280 for a room upgrade (view of two pyramids and Spinx), pyramid tour for 2 with inner chamber, 15 minutes camel ride (2 people $25 each), Egypt museum and Civilization museum. Car was air conditioned (the biggest aaaahhh in their very hot weather). Buffet lunch at Egyptian restaurant was included in the package. You just need to pay for your drinks. For a bottled water and a coke, we paid $5. The chicken kabob and rice was my saving grace. Very delicious. The tour guide was very educational about everything. I forgot her name but she used to work for the museum. She knows her stuff very well. Other than that, if you know language and is a native there, everything could have been much more cheaper for us. Going back to the airport, we paid $25. Bring $1 for tips. They’ll appreciate it. Other than that, this is a great family boutique hotel.
- Athul (10/5): - lovely
- Mark (10/5): - Situated about 100 yards from the Sphinx, that alone is worth the price of admission. The hotel itself is great, and the roof top restaurant bar has views of the Giza Pyramids, and Spinx that will have your camera working over time. The food is good, and very reasonably priced considering a comparable dinning experience some other legendary world ( say the Eiffel Tower ) landmark would easily run you a bill into the hundreds. Pro tip, the roof restaurant has three levels ( a lot of people only check out the first level ), and the place you are going to want to eat is the very top, third level which seems to get going right after the sun sets.
- LivingMyBestLife22 (10/5): What a Find! - What a find! We booked our two week trip to Egypt through a company however I was not thrilled with a couple of the locations and resort style hotels included in the proposed package, so I opted out of a few and instead went looking for a hotel close to the Pyramids, with charm and character. The Pyramids Valley Hotel was absolutely perfect! The rooftop view was mesmerizing. Morning and night. Lovely complete breakfast and so many options for evening meals. The lights on the Pyramids were magical as the sun went down. The food delicious and the staff so friendly, efficient and caring! We felt very safe wandering the surrounding area and found a fabulous typical restaurant for lunch within walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel.
- Gerrigje (10/5): - The customer service was top notch. Thd people were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel for an overnight stay to see the Pyramids.
- Sarah (10/5): - Great hotel. The rooftop bar is very cool
To view the pyramids. Great service. They are a bit aggressive about selling their excursions as soon as you check in. So be careful of that. Don’t make
Decisions right away.
- George (10/5): - I had a really great time there. Both within my room and the rooftop restaurant.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. Like most hotels, they can organise tours and taxis for you if required.
The local area is very shabby, but this hotel is a bit of an oasis in the area. The rooftop restaurant and bar is excellent with views of the Sphinx and Pyramids. The food quality is really good. The breakfast was also good, but the restaurant is better. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, you can go to the restaurant.
My only negatives was water pressure. It seemed to be shutoff at times or barely running. Maybe they were doing maintenance?
I personally recommend.
- john (10/5): - Excellent location !!!! This is at the entrance to the pyramid complex , great roof top restaurant, breakfast was great . Walked to the pyramids from the hotel entrance , and for the value of the stay it can’t be beat !!! It is not the four seasons, but for the value it was great !! The only oddity was the toilet was in the shower … but I’m a multi tasker anyways !!! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our stay in Giza comfortable…
- CVBH4 (10/5): Wonderful hotel. - This hotel has to be the best in Giza for its wonderful views of the pyramids and the Sphinx from its rooftop restaurant. Lovely spacious rooms, excellent choice of reasonably priced food and good breakfast buffet. Very friendly, helpful staff and on-site Tour Operator who will help with all local sightseeing arrangements.
- Jamar (2/5): - Property is literally next to the pyramid. The property lacks amenities
- E9034ENalexp (10/5): Good place. Great people. - The view from the rooftop restaurant is worth staying here for sure, can’t be beat. The food was good too. I give my compliments to Zayan and the entire team from the bottom of my heart. I would stay here again with no hesitation.
We were able to add last minute tours with no problem and when our plane missed its final connection and we arrived at 2am the driver was waiting for us even though we were 10 hours overdue. Again Zayan was able to accommodate this last minute change in plans and not leave us stranded.
Good place. Great people.
- Desiree (6/5): - The views were great. The restaurant staff were excellent. The front desk staff are rude they harrass you to book overpriced tours through them. The room wasn't very clean. Towels falling apart and stained bed sheets. Seems no one at the front desk were on the same page as I got called to my room 15 times a day. Great view but i wouldn't recommend this hotel
- Andrew (2/5): - I would highly recommend spending just a little more money and getting a clean room with out bugs and noise
- Sylvia (10/5): - Best Experience ever and the workers the best
- Davinder (6/5): - The staff are very nice although sometimes difficult to converse with as not all speak English (you’d think universal language due to its location near the most popular tourist attraction!)
Our bedroom was ok but there was no window so always dark without switching on lights. The bedding was rough and coarse , although we tried to tell the reception the young girl didn’t either understand or ignored us. The towels were torn. You would expect at least Egyptian cotton bedsheets ! There was noise, possibly generators or kitchen appliances throughout the night so difficult to get a good night’s sleep
The towel rail was right above the toilet and kept falling!
Plus points, very convenient to the pyramid's and rooftop view is great. Food is good . General quite clean and waiting staff in particular are excellent.
