- Michael (10/5): Peaceful and quiet place with beautiful garden. - Amazing place to stay in very quiet and peaceful street. We had a room with patio access to lovely garden. It’s so beautiful here. Also area is very safe, been walking many times all people have been here so friendly. Just 10min walking to shops and restaurants. I truly recommend Manuelo’s restaurant with delicious food and fresh salads. Apartment was very clean and modern. Contact with owner was quick and without any problems. I will recommend this cozy apartments to anyone who is looking for an affordable place in Bahamas.

- Makyla (1/5): Don’t stay here - the security gates this is a ghetto area, unsafe to walk around in, and very far from things to do, no buses. everything is unplugged;fridge , stove,microwave,tv etc. He’ll connect them for you, if you want to use something. He also asked me to be very conservative with using it as it costs him. I stayed one night and decided I would cancel my vacation and leave in the morning. The taxi driver picked me back up in the morning, they had found me a different place to rent. I was able to move somewhere else and stay for my vacation. I forgot to say I was given the wrong location in the beginning. I called from the taxi as we couldn’t find the building. The lady called back and said I hadn’t answered her before and had a different location. I had contacted her before declining her taxi services as my plane was delayed. The link set up for directions was from them to a different property of there’s. This property has a bad reputation for these and probably more reasons. The rental would be good for a local, not a tourist. The security gates around the property are there for a reason. The gates on the doors make it feel like a prison. I do not recommend staying here.

- Verified traveler (2/5): - The address of Dawson st 4. Is somewhere else the owner coordinate a taxi to pick me up and I was dropped at waterloo street. Which is in the middle of nowhere. Far from the beach.I discovered this because the taxi I hired the next day couldn’t find me!!!!. Everyday the electric will be cut off. The owner turned on the generator.Only the first night. Great noise all night!!!. But the generator didn’t power my room. Try to sleep at 84 Fahrenheit without air conditioner?. Then I figured it out that the air conditioning device had been tampered. I wouldn’t cool more than 25 degrees centigrade.And you couldn’t increase the fan or the motion. The bed and pillows were terrible and a 6’1 guy like me cannot fit in a bathroom that you need to climb over the toilet to enter the shower. Way to expensive for what I had in return. This place is a scam. Last time I use your services to book a place to stay. Terrible experience. It’s more upsettting that you are recommending this place in your website without checking. Ohh and the second night the owner woke me up to let me know the door was unlocked!... what is he doing opening my door past midnight?.... Sincerely Giorgio Varese

Clean, comfortable and very nice. I couldn’t have asked for more! They checked to see if I needed transportation before I checked out. They really take care of their guests!

They made our visit a true inter-cultural experience, repeatedly checked with us to ensure that we were enjoying our stay and went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed!!! The owners even attempted to find me a walker to rent as mine was left at home!!(None available) All the people we met on the island were very friendly, but the owners and their family, along with our cab driver, and even the neighbor, made our stay all the more pleasant and made us feel like family! We can't wait to visit again! Everyone who visits the island should stay with locals! You cannot get this experience from a cruise or hotel! Also, the distance from the beach and restaurants was perfect. There is even a local cultural museum and craft shop close that we would not have found had we not stayed here. Thank you so much everyone for the wonderful and relaxing vacation!!!!
