Guest Reviews
- Darwin (2/5): - Nothing. Floor in room was dirty. Cover on air conditioner was laying on desk. Shower was disgusting. Weeds, leaves, all over outside and inside room. Even a shirt laying by my door. No coffee pot. Could not get into lobby to get coffee or anything. Rang bell several times.
- Bess (3/5): - Dirty floors, dirty shower, dirty toilet, no handsoap
- Jose (7/5): -
- Rick (2/5): Less than poor - Low rent hotel. Smell of mildew. Management is a bit dishonorable IMHO.
- Douglas (3/5): Never again - Needs a complete renovation Everything
- Tom (6/5): I enjoyed it. I’ll stay again when I’m in town - Decent place to stay in a pinch It’s right by the Interstate so the noise is a little loud
- Michael (10/5): -
- Mike (3/5): - The staff Location
- jacob (3/5): - Room wasn't cleaned and the windows were left open so the room was very hot. Also staff left the property and the person next door blasted the TV until past 2am.
- Archer (10/5): Wonderful - Clean Nothing
- Jordan (1/5): Awful!!! Never stay there again. Could not stay the full time, left early felt unsafe! - Zero Dirty inside, floors were disgusting, people smoking outside my window. Loud at night, people doing drugs.
Unsafe environment!!!!

- Thomas (10/5): - It was a good stay
- Stewart (10/5): -
- Ann (8/5): Its affordable and clean - Its an older hotel. The staff was nice and the room was clean.
- Stewart (8/5): The staff is great rooms are clean faculty is old but most part kept up - I like the people and even tough it old it is clean I think upgrades are needed with. Bedding but I love decorating plus rooms need portraits and so on
- Stewart (7/5): -

Got a very good rest after a long day.
- Sheila (5/5): -
- Paul (8/5): - Rin down but decent condition for money.
- Tiffini (1/5): Do not stay here -room was filthy and very noisy location by a major highway. -
- Reyes (10/5): No words - Everything
- Sharon (1/5): -
- Robert (2/5): -
- Murphy (1/5): Don't do it - Nothing Drugdeals
- Curtis (4/5): You get what you pay for - You get what you pay for. The woman who checked us in was very nice. The room was shabby, peeling paint, uncomfortable bed, flat, small pillows. My only solace was thinking that people crammed into box cars on their way to Auschwitz probably managed to sleep due to sheer exhaustion, so I had it good compared to them. But not by much.
- Delbert (2/5): Very poor -
- Carson (6/5): My stay at budget inn was okay at best - The best and pillows are practically bricks. My neck is killing me only 2 days later and i even brought my own pillow. The toilet chain was rusted and broken so we had to pull it by hand manually every flush...very gross. The shower had hair inside it and there were dust bunnies everywhere inside the room. The door has about 1/4 inch reveal to the outside to help bugs get in, something thats rather easily calkable. The staff were really nice and accomidating tho. I had an easy time using the tv and navigating up to our room. My girlfriend and i woke up late and left about 30 mins after expected check out and the staff were very under standing which we super appreciate. They also lent us a chair which also made us quite happy
- Luis Martin (6/5): - Ok could use an upgrade on the outside
- Carolyn (4/5): - Definitely a budget stay; if you’re not picky and just want a cheap bed for the night, this is for you.
The ladies were as helpful as they could be, but they can only do so much with what they’re given. The AC and TV both worked great, but that’s really the only pro..
I had to move rooms twice and was eventually asked to return later upon arrival because my room was either still occupied or still dirty, though check-in time was at 3PM and it was about 4:30 at this point. It was all a bit annoying after a long drive, but I try to be understanding, so I came back later only to have to move from that room too because the deadbolt would not lock.
After finally moving into a 3rd room, I decided I was tired of bothering the front desk and just wanted to shower for the night. Unfortunately, housekeeping was also not very good. There were splatters, drips, and handprints on both mirrors, the TV, the door handles, etc. Every surface was dusty and the fridge had food caked on it. Floor was covered in dirt, hair, and dead bugs, toilet still had waste on it, shower shelves were covered in soap scum. Just overall seems like housekeeping has not been trained properly and no one is checking their work.
With all the complications I had checking in, in addition to having to clean my own room because I was sick of having to move after driving all day, I wouldn’t recommend.
But like I said, if all you need is a place to stay out the way, this is it.
Just keep your expectations low 👍
- Paula (10/5): - The lady checking me in was kind, efficient and took care of all the questions and requests that I had.
- Bradley (8/5): - I didn't care for such close proximity to the freeway due to the traffic noise, but, it was easy to get back on the road the next morning. I was able to drown out the noise with the tv volume.
- Sharon (1/5): Budget is a dump! - Nothing…wasn’t represented at all in the photos.
The toilet was filthy, sink loose from the wall. You could see in the bathroom window. Syringe in the parking lot by our truck. I kept my socks on because the floor was awful. We were so done we stayed anyway…terrible that you Ben list them as an option. I am deleting your app! Read above..
- Björn (4/5): Avoid! - Bad wifi, no chair, no table, impossible to lock the door, no breakfast, just coffe in the lobby at 9 am, noisy room close to interstate. Avoid this motel!
Björn
- Lurus (1/5): Worst place to stay - Nothing Was not like the picture on web sites, did not feel safe to stay, was in the worst part of town, still had to pay 163$ to cancel my reservation. Went to La Quinta inn and was very glad I did.
- Terry (5/5): It did what I expected it to do at budget inn. I got some sleep in between the sounds of motors. - One was not offered, I never once heard of any breakfast being served I had no parking space in front of my room. Well. I had one- but the car ( which I believed to be the manager's ) was parked there. Since I am handicapped- I had to transport my luggage a ways to my room Close to the freeway and the noise was not very pleasant.
- Brent (5/5): Passable -
- Stan (7/5): Good -
- Gary (3/5): Poor -
- Barb (8/5): Budget Inn is Budget - Comfortably bed. Easy in out parking.
Bathroom door sticks, looks like a loose hinge.
Just off the freeway, lots of traffic noise.
2nd night needed to get re-keyed. Though we paid for 2 nights.
Only 1 trash can in room.
- James (2/5): Super low quality - I think this hotel is one step away from being torn down and rebuilt. It was definitely a low price hotel, but I’ve also stayed at other hotels, named Budget Inn at similar price that were in outstanding condition. This hotel is definitely a dump.
- Bird (5/5): Passable - There was an issue with my reservation. The hotel staff promptly reached out to me and corrected the issue at no expense to me. I greatly appreciated this.
- traci (2/5): - Black mold in the shower. Fruit flies. Ceiling caving in.
- Sabrina (7/5): Good -
- Carla (8/5): Comfortable place to get rest. - I was excited of how clean it was. The bed was great. Plenty of room. No coffee pot. And the TV about every 15 mins wanted to go back onto SpongeBob, which was annoying.
- Tonya (2/5): Not good. - It was a roof over our head for the night The check in was odd. She said their machine wasn’t working right so I may be charged but they won’t get the money, and asked me if I would go get cash instead. I said no, so we tried the card machine and it worked. Otherwise we would have had to find another hotel. It was already 11pm at night so this would have been a huge inconvenience.
We finally got into our room and it was not clean. There were sticky floors, we walked through cobwebs and had spiders in corners and on the wall. Also, the headboard had some splattered substance (maybe mud or a spilled drink?), the shower curtain was really stained and there were not towels to shower with.
Overall this is one of the worst motels I’ve stayed at. I didn’t have high expectations since it’s named Budget Inn. But this wasn’t even worth $40/night let alone over $80/night.
- Donamarie (1/5): A low cost, low value motel with many issues. - Nothing The bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. The shower was unusable, I didn't have swimming shoes with me and there was mold around the bottom seam, hair was stuck on the shower wall. The curtains were a flimsy see-through material that blew up every time the air conditioner turned on. The access to get to this location was all torn up and the motel didn't even appear to be in use until I came around the side. The staff were only available at times and the door to the office was always locked.
- Johnson (1/5): Bad - The room was not clean and there was stuff left in the room from a previous guest, and there was what looked like blue dye on all the bedding and towels.
- Jimmy (1/5): I won't ever stay there again it's too dirty and sketchy surroundings. - The room was dirty. Spilled dried up soda on the dresser and TV remote. The fridge hadn't been cleaned in quite sometime. The bathroom door was coming off the hinges and was dragging on the floor. The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. There was no soap. The linens were dirty and had holes in them. No extra blankets. The curtains were filthy and stained. No screens on the windows and the room was full of flies. The neighborhood is gang riddled I was worried my car would be vandalized or stolen.
- Robert (6/5): Not bad for the price -
- Laura (9/5): Superb -
- Sheila (9/5): Superb -
- Roseann (8/5): Very good - Room was clean. AC worked great. Comfortable bed and seating No bathtub
- Garcia (8/5): Very good -
- Nelson (2/5): Very poor - It was available. Because of the forest fire in the area, nothing under $200 was available. The location is sketchy. Right by the freeway. The light in the bathroom flickered on and off randomly. The building was run down. There was a desk but no chair.
- Blaine (10/5): - Clean room, fluffy towels, a/c a little loud. Great Mexican restaurant nearby!
- Kristin (3/5): Poor -
- Ruben (3/5): Poor -
- Earl (10/5): - A little bit getto but good enough to sleep.
- John (8/5): - The location was a little off, but what you get for the price makes up for it.
- Ramiro (10/5): Exceptional -
- Verified traveler (4/5): Horribly advertised - The office closes early, opens up late, no coffee in room only the office and it's closed, bathroom door doesn't shut, the freeway noise is awful, bed was uncomfortable, bugs crawling on the floor. The lady that checked us in was nice. No we will never stay here again. Also Internet booking there was breakfast in the morning, there was No breakfast, none was available. Walls were awful.
- Harper (5/5): Passable -
- John (6/5): - It is in a residental area right by the highway. The surtounding area is a little rundown. It is close to eating establishments and grocery stores.
- Sharon (1/5): Bad -
- Karen (7/5): Good -
- Natalie (10/5): Exceptional -
- Ehlers (3/5): Poor -
- Kstringer8120 (3/5): Nothing Superior Here - It had a bed, running water and a toilet. Place looks rundown closed as you pull up and has no mention of remodeling or anything. Rooms are large, but have zero lighting outside of windows and lamps and the light in the bathroom isn't much better leaving you feeling like you're in a horror movie while you shower. The door to the room has ONE lock and that's the lock on the electronic door handle. The flashing lights they have along the soffit outside do not turn off and despite the curtains, flash inside your room all night. The heat in the room barely works and has to be set at almost 85 in order to stay tolerable.
The ladies that helped run this place were very rude, kept the lobby locked during what would be normal business and check-in/out hours making it necessary to call just to get someone to unlock the door to address check in and issues. One shorter woman was highly rude and snarky about keeping my key away from my phone because it stopped working randomly and was stored nowhwre near my phone or anything magnetic.
Definitely would not recommend. You'd be better off staying in Boise.
Place honestly looks like it's a giant drug den. Did not sleep well or feel all that safe.
There was nothing superior about this room or this bed.
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional -
- Barker (6/5): Pleasant -
- Dennis (1/5): We didn’t stay there. We canceled our stay - Nothing Security issues. Didn’t feel safe. The office had a bullet proof window with a speaker and a money slide under the window. The room had no closet to hang your clothes. The office was locked. You had to call a number to get in. It cost me $158 to cancel my stay.
The cleaning lady was nice. We liked her.
- Joyce (2/5): - Just a unsafe place
- Teresa (9/5): Superb -
- Melinda (5/5): Passable - The only problem was my car didn't work 2 times at the back door ,kind of frustrated
- Lynda (4/5): - She charged us a damage deposit, and still waiting for it to be returned. Very noisy and unkept. Wont stay there again. Dont recommend!
- Nicholeen (7/5): Overall, surprisingly not bad. - It looked like they've tried to update the outside of it. It was painted nicely, and appeared to be the better of the hotel/motels near by. It was located in a neighborhood, off the freeway. There was a mini fridge and a microwave in the room, which was a bonus. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, and the A/C worked great! It was an extremely last minute stay, but for the price, it was pretty much what we expected. Definitely wasn't great, but wasn't completely terrible either. We didn't feel very safe there, especially since the office is always locked, and you have to be buzzed in and out, and the staff isn't always there either. There are also warnings on the door about not answering the door, unless you have verified, and know exactly who is behind the door. We laughed about it, and nervously made fun of it, then made sure we were armed for the duration of our stay. Also, I booked it, because it came up as being close to the event we were attending, but it turns out it was not as close as the ad/Google search showed. There were much closer, nicer places we could've stayed for close to the same amount we paid for our room. We booked a King room, but we're pretty sure the bed was only a queen.
- Cody (4/5): Very load car noise from the freeway 150yards away, door was janky and could see daylight through it - The Staff seemed helpful and genuine. The TV wouldn't work what so ever. I'm a tech guy and very familiar with anything tech and the Vizio TV wouldn't leave from the SmartCast will not work blah blah visit vizio.com/support for info. I unplugged, restarted and everything but the remote would only work for the home button which sent me right back to the vizio smartcast error.
- Jay (4/5): - Room was okay but, motel fronts Interstate 84! Very Noisy!
- Jesse (1/5): Bad - I lost my wallet at the property and the staff acted like it was a nuisance to try and recover the wallet
- ROY (4/5): - I did not stay at the property, it was so close to the freeway!
- Martha (8/5): Very good -
- Todd (6/5): Pleasant -
- Christopher (7/5): Good -
- Arthur (6/5): Pleasant -
- Ruby (1/5): Bad - I got my key and it didn’t work and before I could even tell someone the front desk worker left before I even opened my door. I went to ask a random woman not even the original lady smoking a cigarette outside if she had contact info on the office person and she said she would get her but comane to my door had a key to open my door and I stayed here either way and instantly regretted it. The floor was full of hair as well and the sheets and blankets. I only stayed because the person running the office left before I could even tell her anything. I had to strip the blankets off and slept on just the sheets. The lock on the door doesn’t even work either. There was no trash bag in the trash can. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!
- H (1/5): Never again will I go there for anything - Did not like the rudeness of the lady at the front. Decided not to stay and she charged me 105.00. The place was trashed. Broken down and destroyed cars in the parking lot. I would never stay there. The place was a disappointment to put it lightly.
- Kirk (1/5): Bad - Nothing Staff was tenable
- Willadsen (3/5): Felt ghetto - Smelled like a brothel; the dead bolt on the door was broken.
- Hainline (4/5): Disappointing - The stay was good The turn in of the room to the manager from the housekeepers. The sheets were not damaged but being charged for them is wrong.
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor -
- Joanne (4/5): - Negatives: curtains were thin, let in a lot of light. Showered this morning, walked around the laminate floor barefoot - had to re-wash my feet because the floor was so dirty. Sparse amenities.
The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful at check in.
Other positives: the sheets and towels were clean and adequate.
- Tera (10/5): Exceptional - The room was big and very nice staff was great Cable wouldn't work
- Patricia (4/5): - Just not a safe area. Would only recommend if you had no other option but sleeping in your car.
- Verified traveler (4/5): - The room had a funny odor to it, a couple towels, shower barely had hot water. Front desk wants to impose 5 star rules, pathetic
- Rebecca (5/5): Passable - The location was easily walkable to downtown and Indian Creel Plaza. The road noise was not good.
- stephanie (4/5): - Very old and worn.
- Denise (1/5): Had to leave a day early and was charged for 2 nights. Gave an 8 hour notice. They did not accommodate my request . - Convenient location Noise
- Pam (7/5): If you just want a decent place to sleep for a decent price, this is a decent place to stay. - The location was okay, expected for the price. Not dangerous but not quiet. Appreciated that we could bring our dog. Was unaware of the $20 fee for the pet until we checked in. Still, $20 is a lot less than some places charge for a pet. The clerk was great with our dog. She even supplied a blanket to comfort her. There was no breakfast, which we didn't expect for the price, but one ad said there was breakfast. It's pretty old, but they have painted and made an effort to update. The bathroom door had obvious water damage along the bottom. The laminate on the floor must have covered a hole in the base floor since it was caved in and cracked in one place. Other wise, the laminate was nice, especially since they allow pets.
