Raj Tilak Suite
This suite stands out for its arched low ceiling along the entrance passage. Since this was the venue for Maharana Pratap’s coronation, it was decreed that no one should enter with his head held high in front of him, but instead should enter with his head deferentially bowed. The archway is beautifully embellished with gold-leaf painting on the walls and ceiling. This suites size is 1735 square feet including a large private terrace overlooking the Aravali Mountains. This two-bedroom suite is decorated in hues of red which symbolizes strength, bravery and power. The hand-painted dome depicts scenes from the Krishna Leela and is testimony to the skill of the Mewari artisans. This two-bedroom Presidential Suite accommodates upto 4 guests. The only suite to have a private elevator. Soak in the view of the Aravalli Mountains from your private terrace with an outdoor Jacuzzi. Ranee Mahal Suite
The Ranee Mahal suites blend vivid color and rich Mewari art. An entire mirror-worked wall in one suite, like the legendary sheesh mahal or glass palace. In another suite, the wall panels display original hand-painting in the Rajput miniature floral style by generational artisans trained from father to son. These suites range in size between 400-1000 square feet. Separate living rooms and bedrooms offer families the privacy they need. These suites are all uniquely adorned and are a testimony to the skill of the Mewari artisans. Some suites have an additional half bedroom to accommodate an additional person. A tea /coffee kettle along with daily replenishments of water to keep you hydrated at all times is available. The bathrooms have marble inlay patterns on the walls and floors as well as carved marble shower bases, handcrafted by local artisans. Some bathrooms have claw foot tubs as well. - Dareena (10/5): Peaceful and calm - Everything was impeccable. We had a great time at Gogunda Palace. The hotel is big and beautiful. We had a couple of quiet nights and the staff were very attentive. The only drawback for me was the availability of hot water but if you give the staff advance notice, they will sort this out for you. N/A

- Karthik (10/5): -
- Yashandu (4/5): Check in, if you just want to stay inside the room. Amenities listed are not fit to use. - Food was good. Amenities listed on the website were not fit to use at the property, also the staff's attitude regarding the same was pathetic. The property manager was filled with such an arrogance that reflected his take it or leave it attitude. Pathetic condition of swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Green algae was pouring out of it.
- Harshit (10/5): Absolutely stunning property with top notch hospitality -
- Ramaditya (10/5): A royal experience perfect for a relaxing experience - Royal experience. Rani Mahal @101 was very spacious and magnificent.

- Anna (10/5): - Incredible historic property. This is a living museum. We had the place to ourselves. The Raj Mahal suite was such a treat.
- Rucha (10/5): - The Palace was excellent. Felt like a couple of royals staying at the Raaj Tilak suite. It's a piece of history. The staff was excellent and the food was great too. The location of the place was through local slums off the highway. It caused a lot of chaos and tremendous traffic to reach the place. I don't blame the location as the Palace WAS built at that place but there should be a separate road connecting the Palace directly from the highway. Because they don't charge less and though you forget everything once you enter the Palace, you are reminded of it the very same second you step out!
- Sharath (9/5): -
- Suraj (10/5): Amazing stay in a palace - The palace is absolutely stunning, and the rooms—especially the suites—are truly luxurious. The staff are exceptionally friendly and attentive, and the evening folk music creates a wonderful atmosphere. Don’t let the outside surroundings fool you! Not much to do outside the hotel.
- Supriya (10/5): - A must stay place if you are visiting Udaipur! Luxurious and unique with great staff. Great dining options and very family friendly.
- Shivam (10/5): Absolutely relieving, calming and soulful getaway -
- Divyendu (10/5): Stunning property with beautiful rooms. Helpful staff, and amazing facilities. - Absolutely stunning palace. Beautiful rooms, the best I’ve ever stayed in. The staff went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable.
- Gurumurthy (7/5): Good - Property is far from the city. Almost an hour's drive.
Property is well maintained. Only drawback is it shares the compound with locals. Hence, if you climb the rampant for better view, you will be greeted with the sight of locals.
Food is good. Menu is excellent.
- Manal (6/5): Pleasant -
- NITIN (10/5): - Amazing place with excellent service.
- Aditya (10/5): peaceful - calm, serene, historic and very nice staff. senior citizens and those with difficulty walking will find it difficult as it's a heritage palace the steep stairs have been kept intact.
- Varun (10/5): Royalty in every way -
- Kashyap (10/5): - Historic Palace Luxurious Stay, it has a great Link to Maharana Pratap’s history
Well known for his Raj Tilak(Coronation)
Positives: Royal Ambience

Exquisite Dining and amazing buffet breakfast
Negatives: Far from Udaipur(45min Drive)
The roads in Gogunda aren’t that great
- Kunal (10/5): Exceptional - Beautiful small property with lots of historical significance...gives an impression of living in the royal era with all modern amenities
- Kirsty (9/5): Peace and tranquility - We had a beautiful stay here. The staff were friendly and helpful and the property is so peaceful. We loved it. It is about an hour from Udaipur which made it the perfect escape after a couple of busy days in the city. Others have marked it down for location, but for us that was part of the attraction.
- Will (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing staff (especially Bhawar) and an incredible palace very well maintained.
- Ashwini (10/5): Exceptional -
- Vikram (8/5): Udaipur Rediscovered - The Heritage property is nice.Service is exceptional.I would recommend it for functions/marriages.
Nice quiet secluded 20 km from Udaipur 400 m . The room photographs on Booking.com and actual rooms do not match. We booked a Gogunda room ,the
Rooms offered were nothing like the photo.
The steps of the property will require an effort for seniors.
Other than that there is nothing to complain about.
- Kanupriya (9/5): Superb -

Lord of sensitiv Details,
perfekt serroundings,

- Anjana (9/5): Absolutely beautiful - it was beautifully restored to its mogul days. The rooms were lovely and made you feel special. The lights were erratic so was the cable television. The food at the restaurant caused me to have diarrhea.
- Ashutoshg (10/5): Beautiful heritage hotel with ornate rooms - The stay at this heritage palace hotel was an incredible experience. The gardens were well maintained, the hotel architecture was beautiful, and the room was ornate, palatial, but with all the modern amenities.
The staff was very hospitable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. We liked everything
- Gagan (7/5): Good -
- Singh (10/5): The best part about my vacation was the stay at Gogunda. - Everything about this property was amazing. From infrastructure to ambience it was exceptionally great. Just that the property is close to 50kms away from Udaipur city. If you have your own vehicle it’s convenient or else you’ll have to spend a lot of money on commutation. Also No ola and uber is available from Gogunda to city. however from City to gogunda ola and Uber are easily available.
- Sameer (10/5): Royal Heritage and luxurious Stay at Gogunda Palace. - If one is visiting Udaipur and wish to experience stay in real heritage property , "Gogunda Palace" is best option available. Palace has a rich history and direct connection with King of Mewar "Maharana Pratap." Since the palace was built in 15th Century and converted in hotel on as is basis i.e. without altering original structure of the palace ; all the rooms are of different sizes and with different interior. However, all the rooms are beautifully decorated with old style furniture and painting to give you real experience of stay in Palace. While location of palace is little away from Udaipur (30 to 45 minutes only), must visit places like Kumbhalgarh Fort , Haldi Ghati, Chittorgarh Fort, Nathdwara Shreenathji Temple can be conveniently visited from "Gogunda Palace". In fact, Udaipur City can also be covered by staying at Gogunda Palace. Staff of the hotel and restaurant is very polite and helpful. Due to low occupancy, if full buffet breakfast is not available, restaurant staff is happy to serve your favorite food on demand. Swimming pool of the hotel is very clean and well maintained. Overall, we recommend a stay at "Gogunda Palace" for real heritage and luxurious experience. We will definitely visit again. Nothing
- Anup (9/5): Happy - I am content with the holiday I spent with my family at Gogunda Palace. Everyone had fun, eating, taking pictures of scenic surroundings, roaming in rain, heated pool, jacuzzi. We were at peace... The stairs to my room were a torment to my spouse... but thats what you get to expect out of a heritage property.
- Anonymous (3/5): Poor -
- Ruchika (10/5): Great property with excellent service - Had an amazing stay. The staff was very courteous and helpful. Food was awesome.
