- Frank (8/5): - Das Hotel war Ausgangspunkt für unsere Rad-Rundreise durch die Provence. Daher immer wichtig: Wir konnten unsere Räder sicher unterstellen! Die Zimmer waren gut und ausreichend für eine Nacht. Das Frühstücksbuffet lies keine Wünsche offen. Im Vergleich mit den anderen Übernachtungen im Anschluss sogar sehr positiv. Seife, Duschgel, Shampoo und Bodylotion von L'Occitane - ein Genuss. Ich würde auf jeden Fall noch einmal wieder hierhinkommen, sollte es mich nach Orange verschlagen.
- Per (10/5): Rekommenderas! - Vackert inrett hotell mitt i centrala delen av Orange! Jättefint rum med liten terrass! Härligt stor king-size säng, smart bäddad med bara lakan för varma nätter och härligt täcke med påslakan. God mat i restaurangen!

Træet på terrassen trænger til at blive renoveret og der burde være et ekstra trin fra værelset ud på terrassen, da afstanden op til udgang ligger noget højere oppe. Personalet i receptionen var vældig kompetent og flinke. Morgenmad er fin, lidt i den dyre ende. Der opkræves et energi tillæg som hotels.com ikke har oplyst. Hotellet ligger godt i bymidten, hvilket også betyder parkering ikke er muligt, der er dog mulighed for at køre ind og læsse bagage af.

- Lydia (10/5): A gem in Orange, France - A lovely, well executed, homely hotel. A very comfortable and spacious room with some cool furniture and a big dressing area that made me wish I was staying longer! The bathroom was a good size with a big shower and a bath, the fittings are dated, but all function and everything was mostly spotless. Staff were efficient and friendly. I ate in the restaurant, the food was great, I had the fregola, and a glass of local wine. The service was welcoming and lovely. I would definately stay there again.

J'avais pré réglé mais on me demande ma CB pour payer les petits déjeuner. Pourtant habitué de l'hôtellerie je n'ai pas aimé cet accueil. Le personnel soufflait....j'avais l'impression de déranger !

- Laetitia (8/5): Très bien situé proche théâtre antique - J'avais choisi cet hôtel car il se trouvait à 4 minutes du théâtre antique ... Sur ce point-là c'était vraiment très bien !!! Y aller à pied était un plus...le parking à 200m mais ça été on avait des valises à roulettes .. Sinon le personnel y est très sympathique... Je vais être constructive dans mon commentaire pour aider les futurs voyageurs mais également pour aider l'hôtel à progresser 👍☺️ De par mes déplacements, je suis habituée à fréquenter des hôtels 4 étoiles. Celui-ci je trouve est très moyen niveau services équipements... attention, lors de la réservation également certaines chambres sont au 2 ème étage sans ascenseur avec escaliers colimaçon ... à notre arrivée Merci a Richard qui nous a aidé gentillement ..et sinon nous n'avons pas eu de chance un problème avec la porte de la chambre impossible de l'ouvrir du premier coup là dernière nuit une 15 aine de fois avant d'y arriver on a dû réveiller nos pauvres voisins 😂🙈 à notre départ la réceptionniste nous a dit qu'en effet la porte de la chambre était défectueuse et qu'un technicien était passé dans la journée et que c'était sensé être réglé... Avec du recul dès le début j'aurais dû demander une autre chambre ... On plaisantait en se disant que si on était arrivées en porsche on aurait pas eu ces problèmes😂je vais finir par le positif quand même toujours 😊 très bonne situation, personnel agréable et souriant , literie confortable , douche spatieuse, et terrasse pour prendre le petit déj à l'extérieur..

- Roderick (6/5): - The only thing Grand about this hotel is its superb location in the heart of the old part of Orange. The room was adequate but quite dingy, without much light. It’s an easy walk to the Roman Theatre and a longer walk to the Triumphal Arch. The continental breakfast definitely wasn’t worth €17

- Verified traveler (8/5): Loved it but no air conditioning - This is a very comfortable hotel but there is no air conditioning in the bedrooms. We stayed in May and were too warm at night. And no black put curtains/blinds. Otherwise, we had a fabulous stay. The location is great, the rooms are spacious. Nice modern shower.
- Carin (8/5): Ris och ris - Rummet var beläget två trappor upp men hissen gick bara en våning. Därefter måste vi gå förbi poolen och gå uppför ytterligare en trappa med bagaget. Det var en väldigt obekväm väg. Sängen var skön, kuddarna perfekta och badrummet fint. Men luftkonditioneringen var avstängd av miljöskäl trots att det står på hemsidan att rummen är luftkonditionerade. Sänglamporna var inte avsedda för att läsning, alldeles för svag belysning. En av dagarna fungerade inte frukostserveringen. Mycket tog slut och fylldes inte på utan att vi sagt till. Bartendern var arrogant och otrevlig, men receptionspersonalen var trevlig.
- CLAUDIA (6/5): - The hotel was just ok. Although it was located in convenient location it had quite a few missteps. Access to the room required an elevator ride one floor and then an exit to the outside, through the pool area and up 2 flights of stairs. Very inconvenient and unexpected. Parking was available for a fee but the logistics for getting into the garage were unnecessarily complicated and stressful.

The woman at check in was very flustered and didn't mention this to us, did not offer help with luggage up 3 flights of awkward stairs. Luckily my husband and I are in good shape..

The only thing is that room service didn't come back later when we were asleep so they did not clean the room, even when we phoned the reception.

- Christophe (10/5): Un excellent Hôtel à 2 pas du théâtre antique - Les chambres de cet hôtel était trés spacieuses, confortables et agréablement décorées. Le petit déjeuner au calme sur la place, sous les arbres était parfait. La salle de bain était très grande et bien fournies en produits de toilette l'Occitane (quel plaisir !). Nous avons aussi apprécié l'accueil que nous a réservé le personnel qui était aux petits soins avec nous. Je recommande vivement le Grand Hôtel d'Orange pour un court passage lors d'un concert au théatre antique ou pour un séjour plus long. Les tarifs sont très honnêtes pour cette qualité de service.
- Trevor (10/5): We should have stayed longer - We only stayed one night and didn’t eat dinner. Staff were friendly and helpful. It is easy to walk into town from the hotel. Breakfast was good with plenty of everything. Sorry we didn’t stay longer.

The room is large and comfortable, but it needs a couple of extra electric sockets, a larger safe and a laptop space with a small desk and a chair in front of it. The location is perfect. You can't be more central and still be as quiet. Service is excellent and responsive.
- David (6/5): Nice hotel but…. - Good hotel we’ll located. Staff helpful. However, don’t rely on getting parking. They only have 14 spaces-we had to use street parking. Not all rooms have lift access. Ours was a walk past the pool & climb two flights of windy stairs.

Rooms were spacious (we had two family suites) and we were given one with a terrace which was lovely. Breakfast was good. We enjoyed our stay. Hotel could use a couple of minor repairs eg some loose tiles in the stairwell and there was a hole in the floor on the terrace but on the whole a very good hotel for the price.

There is a swimming pool but I didn't try it because of tight schedule. The hotel is far from Orange station where around 20 mins walk (with luggage) is needed to reach the hotel from the station.

- Michael (2/5): Beware of booking with Hotels.com - Hotels.com booked me into a hotel that has been put in receivership. I have yet to hear from Hotels.com about their gross error, nor have I received a refund for the reservation I made with the bankrupt hotel through Hotels.com.
- Gary (10/5): Everyone should stay here! - The staff was over the top amazing. No matter the request, they accommodated. From the begining of our stay to the end, we felt pampered. The location is great and everywhere in Orange is walkable within just a few minutes. Plenty of restaurants, etc. within walking distance. The rooms are clean and have plenty of room. All in all, we love it!

- Colleen (10/5): - Lovely, elegant hotel near the city center and the Roman amphitheater. We were very comfortable with the room size and the expansive bath. Loved also the L'Occitaine toiletries.
- Jeffrey (10/5): - Challenging hotel to drive to in Orange, but that is a property of the streets themselves and not the hotel. Lovely property with attentive staff. Excellent location only 4 minutes walking from the ancient roman theatre.

- Verified traveler (8/5): - In the old city centre. Smoking allowed in room - wasn’t expecting that but didn’t smell too strong. Large windows opened onto for plenary of fresh air.

- AJ (10/5): All around best hotel in Orange - Could not believe how perfect this hotel is in the center of Orange. I was expecting for the price and the "French 4-Star" very little. Quiet, great service, clean, and the deluxe room was huge. Small pool, 2 jacuzzis. Fitness center was tiny but had an elliptical and treadmill. 10 Euro Valet parking. Great find.
