- Chrysovalanti (10/5): Amazing! - We had an absolutely amazing stay at Narcissos Waterpark Resort. From the moment we arrived, all the staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile.
The entertainment programs were fantastic — there was always something fun and well-organized for both kids and adults. It really made the whole experience even more enjoyable.
The food was also amazing, with great variety and quality every day.
We travel a lot around the world, and we can honestly say this hotel truly stole our hearts. A special thank you to Mr. Nikos for everything — your hospitality made our stay unforgettable.

- Hobic (10/5): We will come back. - Great price performance ratio. I dont think you can find better.
We loved breakfast and waterpark. Staff is super nice, town Protaras is close. Konnos beach is near. We had great time! I liked everything.
- Anze (10/5): Great, it'll be hard to repeat an experience like that for that price - Due to renovations at the hotel we originally booked, we were accommodated at the new Maris Grand Waterpark Resort
An excellent experience at a brand-new hotel for the price. The hotel actually still smells of new furniture.
The rooms are superbly furnished, cleanliness is top-notch, and there’s a generous selection of food and drinks as part of the all-inclusive package. I couldn’t ask for more for this price. We definitely recommend a visit. The only downside is that the staff is a bit too friendly, almost a bit intrusive for our taste. At times, a guest just wants some peace and quiet.

Lack of cleaness is main reason bad (I will upload few photos). Other minuses is pool water temparature - too cold. Only 21 c’. Photos inthe desctription not meet the reality.

- 76nathanh (4/5): Do not book, dirty, food poor, chlorine with a touch of water pool. Dirty, dirty, dirty. Cockroach hotel - Summary: Unhygienic, boring, mismanaged, dirty, poor variety of food, waiting times at pool bar (only bar available) very poor.
We travelled as a family (Dad 34, Mum 32, Daughter 8yo, Daughter 3months old.
We used JET2, normally fantastic choices.
This review is not about JET2, although I hope they see this and learn some things about this hotel, aswell as the private transfers they chose for us.
Upon arrival, we were well into the day, we checked in, no issues, helpful, polite, and informative, to a degree.
We were not given 2 room keys, which is absurd, given one of the adults would need to be in and out of the room here and there, to refresh towels, go to the shop for water for our baby, due to Cyprus tap water being unsafe.
First night, kids playing knock a door run, complained to staff, asked for a room out of the way, with enough landing space to catch the little turnips in the act.
Food options at this time of day for an all inclusive hotel, were very poor, shocking in fact.
Cockroaches in rooms, cockroaches near food, cockroaches even on occasion in the large serving trays you select food from.
When bringing this to the attention of the kitchen staff/chefs, my partner was met with a shocking act. The chef smashed the cockroach with their gloved hand, then instead of changing gloves, they simply rinsed their swatting hand under the tap, and continued to prepare a la carte dishes for guests.
Rooms were dirty, we had to ask the hotel reception to have our floor mopped, as when walking around the room, after showering, our feet would become black bright as though trekking across europe with the Christians on a pilgrimage.
Drinks choices were poor at the bar, limited availability, and often certain spirits would be in short supply, we were met with "the hotels are all shutting down, it's what we have left".
This being said, the man managing the pool bar was working slavery hours, from 9am to 11pm daily. His name is Peter (if spelt correctly, I don't know if Nigeria spell it differently). This man made it bearable, with his anecdotes, his cocktails, and his excellent customer service. He saved this hotel on many occasions by keeping the disgruntled muppets like me plied with drink, outside, and safe from the general austerity of the main hotel.
If only the pool bar served snacks, I would have never written this review.
The seating areas for families, the covered square bed type seats, were never cleaned, evidence of snacks, food, drinks spilled, unidentifiable splodges of crap on them.
The main pool was so rich in chlorine, I spent 10 minutes diving for my daughter's toys at the bottom, and my eye stung for hours. I had to rinse it constantly with water and dab it dry. It was bloodshot for days.
No evidence of pool cleaning seen throughout our entire stay.
The waterpark was managed like a non league chess team, everyone seated, no interest in the guests safety or enjoyment.
Often there were less than desirable families and their untrained feral offspring, rampaging around the gaff, shouting at each other, swearing at their parents, crying, stamping on toys, running into other children, dominating areas of the pools, dissuading good children from spending any time there. All whilst the parents kicked back and designed some weird drinking club, all in one corner, ignoring the welfare of their children, and giving even less of a toss about the litter they left laying around, unchallenged, making the place a health hazard, trip hazard and somewhere a reasonable family would wish to spend their downtime, which they paid thousands for. The flooring was raw untreated concrete, very dirty, once again, the pool cleaning team must have been off this week.
The evening food choices were all very similar, with each evening attempting a twist on certain cuisines, such as "asian night" "carvery night".
Trust me, mcdonalds has better variety than this joke of a hotel.
The staff in there were dripping with sweat, offered you one drink each upon sitting down, and never came back for a second drinks order. The manager of the kitchen/eatery area was like Tony Montana, he was barking orders left right and centre, cutlery was harder to come by than rocking horse sh*t.
All in all, avoid if you are anywhere above neanderthal.
- declan-smith (10/5): Great family winter holiday! - We flew out on 25th October 2025. The whole holiday was great, the staff were generally helpful and lovely. The bar staff were exceptional and always tried to go above and beyond. The food was great, although as a family we ate out a lot to Protaras & Ayia Napa. The rooms were clean, modern and the showers were brilliant! The pool was great and the slides helped keep most the children busy. There was a Russian family who did think it was acceptable to fly a drone over the hotel, which considering its a children's resort i felt it was inappropriate. The only issue we had was we arrived at the hotel at 12:15AM. There was no water available for us to drink after our 45 minute coach ride and the reception desk shrugged their shoulders when i expressed i was dissatisfied considering its all inclusive, but they could offer us a dry sandwich, which i obviously declined. Meaning some of my party had to walk the streets at 12:45 in the morning to find a local shop to purchase water. We wasn't the only family to experience this, so if your flight is late at night, come prepared. Apart from those two issues, it was a great week and we will definitely return to Cyprus! We don't usually travel 3*, however we were pleasantly surprised with the overall quality with it being a 3*. It was 29 degrees daily, so if your British, the sun is something we are not used to, so it helped make every day better when it was lovely and hot.
- TheKellysUK (10/5): Fantastic Holiday - This is very much a family hotel , it offers an all inclusive package which is very very good.
I wouldn’t go as a couple due to the fact there are lots of kids but as I have a couple it was perfect for us.
The food was outstanding for a 3 star hotel better than some 5 star resorts we’ve stayed at.
The beer was ice cold and the kids enjoyed their soft drinks and ice cream.
The Room was basic but clean and tidy and serviced daily.
The Shower was fantastic and there were ample towels.
Lifts service all floors.
The kids loved the water park in the afternoons but the water was cold as it was the end of the season.
The pool was freezing but again it was because it’s so late in the season and we preferred Green Bay beach for the mornings as the sea was so much warmer.
The sunshine makes it 30 degrees all week , which for October was surprisingly warm and we had a fantastic week in Cyprus.
This hotel offers great value for money
All the staff and Management were fantastic.
- elpE1285ER (4/5): Had to rewrite to knock it down a star… - I’ve deleted my old review as you’re unable to edit and my previous 3 stars was too generous after now experiencing the whole week… I’ve been visiting Cyprus since before I could walk, so I’ve stayed in a fair few hotels, mainly Protaras, this is the first time however I’ve felt compelled to write a review.
Location - you’re a close walk to a small beach local to this area, but it’s not the main beaches in protaras which are around a 30-40 walk. Protaras is where everything happens in this area, shops, entertainment, beaches etc but there is a bus stop right outside which is around €2 each so cheap enough. You can also catch the bus to Ayia Napa if that’s more your scene (there are some beautiful beaches there)
Atmosphere - nothing much happening in terms of an atmosphere, we came here in hope of night time entertainment for our eldest, however it was often changed last minute and has basically been singers performing their last jobs before the season ends, it’s nothing to hang around for in the nicest way possible. The kids disco is dire, it’s a member of staff with a laptop, skipping songs until they return back to baby shark, Hokey Cokey etc, they dance in front of the kids for 10 minutes then they’re off. My eldest wouldn’t even entertain it for a second and she loves a dance. The atmosphere with the staff is divided - most are polite but the manager looms over them with an intimidating glare and if you put your folk down for even a second, your plate is collected and gone.
Cleanliness - the worst part for me, the hotel is minging. The bathrooms are grotty, the floors are unbelievably unclean despite being told they’re “mopped” our feet are covered in muck straight out of the shower. There have been several cockroaches, both in the room and in the dining/entertainment area. Beds are half made, left at the bottom of your bed for you to do the rest. I’ve Milton wiped everything I possibly can but I can’t wait to get home to my clean home and I never want to go home!! I’m scared the kids are gonna get ill, especially the baby.
Food - food has been ok, nobody has gotten sick though NOTHING is labelled to let you know if it’s vegetarian which is a nightmare for me, one dish was “potatoes in a mushroom sauce” I thought this was a safe bet - had chicken in it, nightmare. Breakfast is probably the best meal of the day. We saw 4 huge bins get filled just after one day, it’s devastating how much waste there is on a daily basis. Over at the omelette stand, I let the worker know there was a huge cockroach running across their counter, they looked at me surprised, smashed is dead with their hand on the counter, put it in the bin and washed their hands with their gloves still ON, then didn’t change them to keep on serving. I never returned to eat from there. I’ve stuck with salad as the safest bet but even that may be debatable. I know what to expect at an all inclusive, it’s usually all the same so it wouldn’t have been an issue if it wasn’t for the cockroaches… utterly disgusting.
Pool area - The pool is freezing, I think expected at this time of year? Maybe they could have helped with this if that’s a possibility. It was clean enough though. Sunbeds are the most uncomfortable sunbeds I’ve ever laid on, I can’t even lay on them they’re that bad. There are some big beds to sit in which we did for the baby to have shade, but they’re all stained and rock hard to sit on, some have blood stains on them, others just muck, they truly are disgusting and we rented 5 towels from reception just so no parts of our body touched the actual beds. The water park is good for older kids, eldest is just under 10 and she found them too scary but I think it’s just personal preference, we never went in after many years from the first time. The water you land in is also extremely shallow which is scary and I’m glad she doesn’t want to go back.
Bar staff were friendly, attentive and clearly just trying to get through the season. There is a works man here that seems to work every minute of the day everyday, I hope he has 6 months off to recover. Reception staff were friendly but unhelpful when we asked if we could move rooms due to kids playing knock a door run every night due to being next to the lift, we got told to speak to the parents so no joy there. The kids were running around in the lobby at 11pm pressing all the lift buttons so no one could get in (infuriating when you have a pram) I ended up just telling them myself.
It forced us to get on the bus and travel off to beaches for the day, which is nice but it was only to get away from the hotel. It’s not the staffs fault, they work incredibly hard but this hotel needs a serious refurb. They have a sister hotel at the other end of the strip, nearing penera, it’s new and also has a water park… so stay there!!
I wouldn’t ever come back, even if it was a tenner to return. It’s not worth it in my opinion!

- susannevS6341OY (8/5): Better than expected, but not a 4 star - After reading a couple of reviews we had our mind set on that it would not match the 4 stars we usually stay at and at worst be not that good at all. As a summary it was better than we anticipated.
Facilities: A typical 3-star hotel. Maybe the 4'th is from its prime days, but not any more. The hotel feels a bit runned down but not really "shabby". The rooms are ok, but lacks storage for stuff, only one chest of drawers for 4 people. The beds are very hard and both grown-ups woke up a couple of times per night with back aches, but the teenagers in their extra beds slept like logs. I contemplated bringing a "Themarest" but didn't, but with hind sight I probably should have. Cleaning, changing of towels etc. worked fine.
We did have three small (max 1 cm) cockroaches in the bathroom at one occasion. They went down the toilet and that was the only time I saw cockroaches anywhere during our stay. (Living in an old house with lots of spiders that was no big deal for us).
Food and drink:
You can get drinking water from a tap in the reception area, but you need to have your own bottles. We had so that worked fined.
The food was actually better than we had anticipated. They tried to have different themes every night and we could always find something to eat. The wines were drinkable and the beer was good. There is a coffee machine where you can get what you want yourself. There are a lot of cats around the tables if you sit outside. There are signs that you shall not feed the cats, which people happily ignore so that cats have become quite "pushy". The staff is service minded and friendly but with a mix of 90% cleaning the table/removing plates and 10% taking orders. We perceived that it was sometimes difficult to get more to drink after your first order. We usually ate a bit later when it was less crowded, however we learned that the "good food" (like meat) and desserts often were gone by then so by the end of the week we tended to eat earlier to not miss out. That was a pity I think. But again as mentioned it was overall better than we had anticipated.
The bar had a selection of drinks that were ok. Served in plastic glasses without any extras and with tastes that at least where somewhat similar to the originals, but that worked fine for us.
Pool area:
The pool areas are good. The water park was fun, but be aware that the landing area is not really deep (enough). Both me and my spouse hit the bottom of the pool quite hard the first time until we learned how to land (I preferred staying parallel with the water). I saw other people also hitting the bottom (both of the pool and the body 😉 ) The children seemed to be fine. The slide that needed swim rings to be able to use only had three that had to be shared by all guests and there was a queue and sometimes some arguments. Here they need to do better.
We had no issues finding pool chairs/sunbeds (but this was also towards the end of the season). Some sun loungers where past due date and should have been replaced. Again that adds to the overall perception. The pool towels were a disappointment. You pay a deposit for a towel and then you got one the size of a hand towel (ok a bit exaggerated but...) . We learned that the dark blue were bigger so we managed to "upgrade" during the week. With the light blue towels I don't even see the purpose. The white room towels had the same size. Do better!
Don't miss a 10 min walk down to St Andreas Beach. We visited a couple of times and the sea was warmer than the pools and the kids liked it a lot.
Entertainment:
Don't know. We usually had a drink by the pool side after dinner and then went up to the room.
We usually pick all-inclusive hotels based on food reviews. This time our child brought a friend and we wanted to find a place where we thought they would have a fun time. And for that this hotel worked very well for us. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others. The hotel should need to fix a couple of things such as pool towels, worn out sun chairs, worn out mattresses, cleaning the big sun beds, welcome bottles with water etc. etc. to get an overall better impression and this is what in my opinion don't make it 4 star hotel.
- claire (8/5): - Location. Staff. Room size. Could do with bottled water in rooms for arrival.
Rooms could do with some maintenance jobs over winter while closed eg: door handles need mending. Plug sockets wobbly.

- R1051DZtheos (6/5): Yoga and bar staff excellent! - Alena the Yoga teacher was amazing…wanted to get to know you and then matched a routine to your needs. Lena the wonderful bartender from Bergen Norway was full of joy while offering excellent hospitality….
- gabriellagX127UZ (10/5): Great place - It was our second time at this hotel (first in 2023).
This year we spent two weeks here, from September 26 to October 10. Coming back was a great choice!
The rooms are spacious and clean. Bed linen and towels were changed regularly, and toiletries were always replenished.
Excellent selection of healthy food – plenty of vegetables, fruits, and delicious meats.
The staff in the restaurant, at the reception, in the bar, and the entertainment team are all excellent — kind and helpful.
I was especially happy to meet Alena again, the yoga and aqua fitness instructor, after two years.
Starting the day with her morning exercises was a perfect beginning!
Her professionalism and kindness are outstanding.
September and October in Cyprus offer wonderful weather — the average temperature is around 26–28°C, and the sea is about 25–26°C.
The nearby beach is clean, and the water in the bay is fantastic.
The hotel is in a safe area, with a bus stop right nearby. Protaras’ lively center is also just a pleasant 30-minute evening walk away.
Overall: 10/10.

- Leeb100LB (8/5): Expectations will define your stay - Very mixed feelings about this one. We would say, if you have the right expectations then you will be really happy here.
If you turn up expecting a 4 star hotel then you’re gonna be disappointed.
This holiday including flights, seats on the plane, transfer and all inclusive was close to £550 each. The next best option was £200 more and bed and breakfast. So it’s that old chestnut. You get what you pay for.
What we liked;
The hotel was clean. Public areas, the restaurant our room was in most cases very clean
The bar staff, entertainment team, restaurant staff were brilliant. So friendly and great with the service. We found reception hit and miss. To be fair there’s a young lady trying her best, but I am not sure she’s right for the job as came across very shy and within herself. No greeting or good bye. Not her fault.
We really liked the bar closed at 11pm which meant the drunken activity was limited.
The food. Now there’s been a lot of comments. It’s ok. Some good some not so. But overall you can get a decent meal. Again be realistic what you’re paying for your holiday. If we had paid £300 more each for the trip I think I would be very upset.
The things the hotel could work on-
Plastic disposable cups. Not great for the environment.
Reception check in could be more friendly.
More info from the hotel about the resort, we were handed a sheet of a4 paper with very limited info on - upon arrival.
A double bed so at least we could be close in bed on a couple holiday - rather than 2 singles.
Overall ok but would not go back.
- Darrenandtina116 (6/5): Hotel itself is ok but food let's it down - Narcissos is located between Protaras and Ayia Napa, half hour bus ride into Napa or 10 minutes into Protaras.
The rooms are basic but fairly clean. The hotel only supplied sheets for cover at night which I thought was unusual. Yes your in a hot country but the end of September it gets chilly at night and our granddaughters complained they got cold in the night and kept waking up.
The main pool is good but I believe the patio areas around this pool were fairly grubby and in the week we were there ants took a bit part where people had dropped drinks or melted ice cream etc.
The waterpark has about 7 slides which the girls enjoyed.
We have stayed in 6 or 7 different hotels around Cyprus and I have to say this was the worse for food. Breakfast was passable but lunch and dinner really not the best. Although this has a snack bar, it doesn't open until around half 3. You are given a menu to order from which are your usual hot dogs, burgers etc, Again, a lot of hotels we stayed had snack bars where you can just go up and kinda help yourself, this means no eating around pool areas. Entertainment not the best and there is only one person (Mario) who has the job of entertaining all the guests. When they do have main shows they don't start until 10pm and bar shuts at 11pm.
Due to the lack of quality of food, we wouldn't stay here again.

- jobyNelincs (8/5): Great Time - Was dreading goin here from all the recent reviews but i neednt have worried at all.
Booked this hotel for the waterpark for the kids and they absolutely loved it
The rooms were very spacious , the ac worked very well and the showers were very powerful - the fridge in the room was also ice cold which having been to many hotels you dont get that often
all rooms in the main building had a pool view and sea view - which was very nice whilst sat on your balcony.
The food was very edible - i dont no what people think there gonna get for a 3 star hotel - but the food we had was very nice - from fresh omelettes which were better than a 5 star hotel on the front which we stayed in july , to the live station which always had roasts and other assorted foods - not a massive selection but what there was , was very nice.
The snack bar was a welcome addition aswell - if you fancied it from burgers, hotdogs, spag boll to toasties - fantastic quick service from the staff aswell
And mentioning the staff they were all very friendly and everyone mentions Mario and when you get here you will no why - he does his best to get everyone involved - "wakey wakey , shakey shakey "
The all inclusive drinks where exactly what i expected - some good some bad and you will get fed up of them , the iced coffees were a welcome addition though - and i dont no how many ice creams my grandkids had but glad i wasnt paying by each one :)
The one thing it does need is some steps to walk into the pool - see many people struggling with the ladders and the sea was warmer than the pool = brrr
They had an act on a few nights and bingo karaoke etc and things do stop at 11
All in all really couldnt complain - yes it does need refurbing in places - but you pay for what you get
- lolacI2644NU (4/5): Worst holiday and hotel I’ve ever experienced ! - I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We got there on a Tuesday afternoon first thing they said is sorry you can’t stay here the “AC is broken” we’re transferring you for the whole week. So we were ordered a cab transfer. When the cab arrived she was demanding money off us although it was free from the hotel and the cab lady was saying the AC isn’t broken there lying to you and i not get paid. Got to the other hotel LOVELY place. We asked are we staying here for long they said yes whole week. 2 days later we went to book the Italian restraunt included in the hotel. The receptionist said no you’re leaving tommorow to go back to other hotel. Which was a liberty as it took a whole day to pack and move in the heat. As we got back to the original hotel (this one). The staff were rude. We went to our room. The wall lights and hair dryer were hanging off the wall. The whole room and bathroom were extremely dirty. The food was APPALLING!!!! it was the same food every night and looked like it was the left overs from each night. Every bit of food was cold. There was no variety to accommodate for everyone it was just awful so ‘all inclusive’ for us was just drinks as we had to live off crisps and snacks from the shop and go into town for dinner every night. The noise level from our room in the night was very quiet so we slept okay. The atmosphere of the place was very loud due to the Waterpark attracting children based families which was fine but we also found that majority of adults there were also disheartened by the facilities so no one was that smiley and friendly. We was also told that the hotel is actually a 3 star in cyprus. They don’t know why it’s a 4 star on trip advisor - that was from a member of staff. I have to say the waterpark section of the hotel was really good. But the main only good thing that made our family holiday was the entertainment every day and night his name was Mario. He is amazing at his job. Such a friendly joyful man and he gets everyone involved, talks to everyone during the day as he also runs the games during the day as-well as night. He made us laugh without a doubt everyday. So he is the only thing that was good in the holiday sadly.
- Z8957KSsusanp (8/5): Was a lovely hotel and we really enjoyed our stay.would defo go back - Lovely little hotel .our room was large and a separate bedroom .shower was good 👍 balcony let the apparments down could do will improvement .but was never on the balcony long anuf to complain .food was good lamb, beef, pork, chicken to crab claws and salmon even had gravy and mint sauce .lot of selection .different themed nights .and u get your drinks served at table dinner and tea time .breakfast was good with a omelette station .bus stops out side to potarouis or ayia napa .there was 14 cocktails on the all inclusive list plus keo larger, wine and spirits .black russian was the best but got me a bit tipsy lol .tea and coffee all day long and a snack bar opens at 3.30 that serve hotdogs ,burgers, fish fingers, chips, toasties, salads, u could defo not go hungry .entertament was ok but we made freinds so we had great night's and great laughs. friendly staff to guys beside the bar was class Gabriel and Peter pan .always had a smile for us .BUT TO TOP THE HOLIDAY OFF AND KEPT US ENTERTAMENT DAYTIME AND NIGHT WAS MARIO MARIO MARIO A FREIND FOR LIFE .WORKED ON IS OWN WITH NO HELP .NOT A LOT OF EQUIPMENT BUT HE DID IS BEST AND TRYED TO KEEP EVERY ONE HAPPY .HE IS A GOD SENT FOR THE HOTEL AND THEY SHOULD APPRECIATED HIM MORE .would we return most definitely but mario would have to be there .I yeah and the dessert was delicious 😋
- 273adeles (8/5): Lovely family holiday - Don't be put off by negative reviews . The hotel is slightly dated and work needs doing but the room we were in was large, clean and tidy. Plenty of clean towels and bedding . The pool was good, plenty of sunbeds whenever we went near the pool . Towels are not allowed on while 9 and we never bothered because we always got one if wanted. The waterpark was also really good and plenty of sunbeds there too. Entertainment was ok but could be better but we made the most of it . The best thing about the place is Mario. He tries to brighten everyday, always goes out of his way to entertain. His one liners are enough to make anyone smile. He tries his best to get everyone involved with darts , boules , water polo and pool but unfortunately there's no boules pitch so have to play on the grass, but play we did and had the best laughs.the same with darts ,no proper board just a nail on a fence and cheap darts. But again Mario got us all involved and we had a good time . (Narcissos please give Mario a boules area and darts and a new dart board.) The bus stop is straight outside the hotel to go to protaras or a 20 min walk. Opposite the bus takes you to ayia napa. Would we go back ..... yes so long as Mario is still there.

- Uzunlar (6/5): Food was terrible - The facilities was good. Pool was good clean and fun. Bar was good with the drinks. The kids disco was the best for my kids. The food was really bad. And not many choices for a open buffet. And also the meat was mainly pork which me and my family dont consume. The only meal i actualy felt full was breakfast other than that i couldnt really eat anything because of the meat and also didnt taste very good at all
- BrettNash (8/5): Great place close enough to all amazing beaches and towns - Trip based on 2 adults & 2 children (3 & 16)
Hotel: really clean hotel. I feel they could do with upgrading the main sign outside the hotel entrance it has pain peeling and feel this should be nice and maybe lit up to add to first impressions as this hotel is a really nice place. Front of house staff are all really friendly and very helpful. There is a football pitch next to the car park which I saw used once. A kids play area would have a been a much more useful addition and this is one thing the hotel is lacking.
Pools: The large pool is a great size and very clean with a separate baby shallow area.
Slides are great with a good choice of slides. Daughter loved it. Kids water area is great with 2 slides and a really nice area for kids to play.
The lifeguards are great wrecking pools and top and bottom of slides.
Pool music through the day was great and I enjoyed it everyday
Rooms: very clean. We was on the first floor and had a pool view but does have the balcony below in the view but not really a problem. The larger rooms have a larger balcony but we didn’t mind not having that. Was cleaned great everyday. Spacious with large bedroom and kids had bed in the front room. This does mean we didn’t have the TV on in the room but we didn’t need that anyway so wasn’t a problem. Air con is in the both rooms and you do have an option of a quiet mode which was great.
Food: food was great all holiday, always had a full plate and had minimal chips. Only thing is possibly adding pizza a few more times especially for kids as it’s an easy option. Kids snack section always full and with spaghetti, nuggets, chips or sausages. The pastas and salads were really nice and fresh. Breakfast was good with fresh omelets everyday and a wide choice of cereals, pancakes and other brekfast food (sausages, eggs beans all tasted great)
Snack bar after ok food was spot on. Came fast and was all under cover so nice to have the break from the sun in the afternoon
We ate at the a la carte for one night which is just next to the bar so not really a separate area but you do have to book in. Was worth it as they bring different dishes all centred around Cyprus food and we really enjoyed it.
Ice cream available all day and are like mini magnums (banana and vanilla) both tasted great and a huge hit with the kids. Available all day
Drink: Decent range of cocktails and spirits tasted nice. Amaretto, peach schnapps, vodka and rum all great. The bar staff are good and happy to serve. Really nice set of staff who were quick at serving.
Entertainment: the day time entertainment was one guy who was friendly and tried to get people involved. Player water polo and was great. Not the best entertainment as it’s all on the one guy but it is a smaller feel hotel
Evening entertainment would be the one thing I think brings down my review of the hotel. The layout just isn’t right it’s one long strip of 2 tables and the entertainment end up playing in the bar area. That’s not got good as people walking past to get drinks can’t be nice for the entertainment people. There is a small theatre part where mini disco is. If they raised the roof so it wasn’t so enclosed and extended this area to the left by cutting back the grass area they could us this as a proper main entertainment area and acts could play there. I feel this would make a HUGE difference to the hotel. Sometimes there wouldn’t be any space for people to sit if came out a little late. Needs a serious review of how it runs and how they can improve this as it is the main thing holding the hotel back from higher scores.
Kids entertainment for mini disco is great and get the kids dancing. Daughter loved this and was good
Location: Great location. Around a 10 min walk to the closet beach. Bus is so easy as every 15 min and gets you to protaras which is a must visit with some great bars with good price drinks evening entertainment Qbar and love boat stand outs but notice some further down the strip we didn’t get to this time. Just on the bus it’s a few stops from fig tree bay which is a must visit. We paid 5 euro for bus and taxi was costing between 10-12 euro so a big difference.
We went to Ayia napa and this was 25
euro there and 30 euro back. Also worth the visit with some great bars. We didn’t stay out too late as had young kids and help Protara was more chilled. Ayia Napa has luna park which is a fun fair park. 10 euro for 12 tokens and was very reasonable prices. Lots of rides for both kids and adults. Was a great visit and happy we went there.
Beach: you could walk here in 10-15 min and was a great beach. So many nice beaches here but would recommend fog tree. Does get busy but nice blue water and the water sport hire is reasonable prices. We hired a pedalo for 15 euro for half hour and it had a slide on, was great fun and kids loved it.
Other activities: We did yellow boat tour which we booked through trip advisor direct and was easy. 100% recommend. Great staff decent prices on board for cocktails at 5 euro. Nice friendly informative staff and we actually got to swim with turtles. Amazing experience. You could visit these beaches they visit by walking or buses but if your looking for a nice boat trip this is the one as much easier.
Overall: I would return to hotel. It’s a great stay and with an adjustment to the layout for evening would fix its main problem that does impact my score. It could do with a little TLC in some places like you see in recent posts but it’s not a major issue like the posts made out. I would recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area and this holiday has made me want to return to Cyprus again and especially this area as i really enjoyed it here with the beaches being amazing
Tips: Use the bus service to get to Protaras it will bring down the cost of the trip there. Aim to go there later as entertainment there doesn’t start till around 9:30.
Visit Luna park for some rides between bars in Aiya Napa
- ethelmanchester (4/5): Dirty communal areas, everything stops at 11pm! - The 1 bedroom apartment was a good size averagely cleaned. The room aircon was good the TV was rubbish no english channels and one odd channel very porn like which is not acceptable with children channel searching! The bathroom is small with no storage and will flood when showering if the shower is full power. Most of the staff were nice but the waiters are very keen to collect your plates while still eating!
The outside bar and pool area is dirty with stray cats sleeping on the furniture, cockroaches and broken furniture and the cushions on the beds and chair were filthy! The water park has 5 or 6 slides once you've done an hour the novelty wears off.
There was not much entertainment and no where close to go to once everything stopped at 11pm! Most of our group ate out as the food was hit and miss!
We love Cyprus and had some lovely days out but we will never stay here again there are much nicer hotel nearer Protaras Strip where there's something for everyone. @jet2 get them to clean the place daily I never seen a cleaner do more than sweep up leaves!
Good luck to those still going i hope you find something you like about it 🤞

- Jolanta (7/5): I would not recommend this hotel for the the group stays, because for them it is complicated to organize without problem - Food The staff wasn’t friendly. We have had issues with the first night, one couple of our group was forced to stay in another hotel. In the rooms the fan didn’t work, the local phone also didn’t work! The deposit for the towels wasn’t returned of some kind weird explanation. The show programs in evenings were poor.

It’s dirty, poorly managed and cheapish for a reason.
Food is not good. The snack bar in the afternoon is vile.
The staff do their best but I don’t think they even want to be there!
The Jet 2 rep Zoe is the most unhelpful
Rep I’ve ever encountered. You’d think she works for the hotel and not Jet 2. First and last time travelling with Jet 2.
The rooms are dated, poorly decorated and not clean.
Honestly, it’s dire. Other “highlights”:
- x2 slides closed on Waterpark. Lifeguards are either too OTT or just don’t care
- the place is dirty. Really dirty.
- decor is bad. Wallpaper and paint ripped or chipping
- location is not the best
- staff are either miserable or nonchalant. I don’t blame them tbf
- food is not good. Meats are dry if not in a sauce. Nuggets look like they’ve been through the fryer seven times before serving
- the manager is aggressive and a bully
I would not recommend. In fact I’d go as far to say that they need to close, refurb and start over
- Z9230ZBdebbiem (8/5): good visit - The hotel was great, food was good, always hot and plenty of choice. Pool area was good for everyone and kids loved the slides. short taxi ride to protaras strip.

All staff amazing and helpful. Mario absolutely amazing his little saying will stick with us lol .
Waterpark amazing
Food great good choice to
Rooms cleaned daily fresh towels.
Great beaches near by and beautiful little coves. Magic water show is a must. Only been back a day I wish I was still there.
I would say hotel is under rated by jet 2 tho I say more like 4star .

- sarahwK5040HN (10/5): Great Holiday! - We stayed at the Narcissos for 10 nights, returning just last night. I’ll be honest – after booking a year ago and reading some of the reviews back in April, I was tempted to change our holiday. But we decided to stick with it, thinking that in August anywhere will have the odd mishap. We’ve been to Cyprus around eight times over the years and absolutely love it.
We arrived late in the evening and were welcomed by friendly staff. On first impressions, we weren’t too happy with our room, especially considering we had booked a year in advance and it wasn’t cheap. However, we spoke to reception and by 11am the next day we were moved to another room, which we were really happy with.
In my opinion, this hotel is underrated, and I’d encourage people not to be put off by some of the reviews. We had the best 10 days! The staff were amazing – they work incredibly hard, all day, every day. The food was lovely. Our children aren’t fussy eaters, but even so, we often eat out on holidays and didn’t feel the need to rush to restaurants this time (though Protaras does have some lovely ones). Drinks were also good. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be to have glasses instead of plastic cups in the evening, but I do understand this is probably for safety reasons.
There was never an issue getting a sunbed if you were up early, and for those who fancied a lie-in, the waterpark area opened at 10am so you could always grab one there. Entertainment seemed good for the younger ones, though our kids are a bit older now so we often went out in the evenings.
Protaras itself is about €12 in a taxi or a 20-minute walk. The local cove beaches are stunning – just five minutes away. We even went swimming at Green Bay one morning and spotted turtles, which was a real highlight.
Overall, this was a great holiday. The hotel isn’t a 5-star resort, but unless you’re paying £8k it’s not going to be. Honestly, we can’t fault our stay and would definitely recommend.
- A9100TLleeb (10/5): Narcissos hotel and Waterpark Cyprus - Hotel was fantastic different themed food nights and I must also mention the weighter staff are all brilliant and friendly polite , in the day various activities like darts , pool , water aerobics, water polo. And then there is the ⭐️STAR⭐️ man 🧍♂️ MARIO love the guy brilliant with the little ones and adults alike, not enough words too describe who brilliant he is with everyone will be surely missed by me and and no doubt everyone else who has meet him ❤️

- Marios (7/5): value for money! - The kids loved the waterpark and the staff was very polite. The food was good. Needs a bit more attention in cleaning. The outdoor toilets near the pools were always dirty and the room needed more cleaning. There was even ketchup on the wall.
- K475BJlauras (10/5): Great holiday - Just returned from 14 nights at Narcissos. We arrived just after midnight and were unhappy with our room, after a visit to reception the morning after we were moved rooms and which faced the pool and you could also see the sea. Pool area is great for both adults and kids. The food was of very good quality and there was plenty of variety and cooked well. All the staff were very friendly and attentive, especially in restaurant. Loved the bingo nights and water aerobics. Please do not be put off by reading the negative reviews, and as long as you don’t turn up expecting 4 star luxury, you won’t be disappointed.
- CharleenS15 (10/5): Amazing family holiday - My family returned from this hotel last week and we all absolutely loved it! I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews last year and nearly changed the hotel. I’m so glad I didn’t! Myself, my husband, mother and father in law and 2 children aged 12 and 16 spent 2 weeks at this hotel. We had 2 rooms and both were cleaned every day with fresh towels daily . The hotel grounds were clean and well looked after.
The food was great, all 6 of us enjoyed every meal. There was lots of choice and all fresh and lovely. The omelettes at breakfast were great! All the staff are amazing and so friendly. From the cleaners to the bar staff to the restaurant staff, all amazing! The staff really do make this hotel.
The drinks were good and great choice of cocktails.
We booked into the a la carte restaurant one night, oh my god it was amazing! It was a meze meal and there was so much of it! Would highly recommend. You just book in at reception and get one visit per stay.
The hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the main strip of Protaras or the bus stop is right outside the hotel and only 2 euros each. The main strip is really good, full of bars, restaurants and shops. Definitely worth a visit.
The closet beach is a 5 minute walk and is gorgeous! Shallow crystal clear water.
We would definitely return to this hotel. It definitely deserves to be a 4 star. Have been to lots of 4 star hotels and this hotel is better than most of them.
- katiekB2902ES (10/5): Excellent holiday! Loved it! - Arrived at midnight, check in was smooth and was given a sandwich as all bars and restaurant were closed.
Room: We had a 1 bedroom apartment overlooking the pool. This was very spacious and clean & maid service daily.
Free use of safety deposit box & air con.
Pool: Always managed to get a sun bed, if the pool was busy you could lounge around the Waterpark which opened 10am-5.30pm. We hired the pool towels for a deposit of €5 each. You could swap the towels as much as needed.
Pool bar opened at 10am and drinks & Ice creams were good standard (iced coffees were a fave).
Restaurant: breakfast was excellent, hot food, pastries, fruit & yogurt, cereals & omelettes made to order.
Lunch & dinner was excellent, themed nights, kids section, deserts great! There is a Mezze restaurant you can book for 1 night of your stay, it’s a nice change & the food is delicious!
Entertainment through the day was good (Mario was the life & soul).
Evening entertainment was basic but we liked to go to town so wasn’t fussed.
Bus stop outside hotel takes you to the main strip for €2 each, bus comes every 10 mins.
Protaras town was busy, lots of bars & restaurants. We found the prices really reasonable.
Beach was just over the road (5min walk) & you could cut through the derelict hotel.
We did the 3.5hr boat trip to blue lagoon. It was brilliant, we saw & swam with turtles, food was excellent & free drink.
We would definitely return to this hotel again! 2 adults & 2 children (6yrs)
- sharonmW5964AI (10/5): Brilliant highly recommend - Fantastic little gem of a place. 4 adults age 62 and late thirties 2 children. Rooms bedding and towels cleaned daily. Food is delicious well presented varied with a roast everyday other meat/vegetarian dishes available dedicated children’s bar with pizza nuggets pasta etc. our kiddies age 8 loved the kids club and made several friends there. All staff very friendly accommodating can’t do enough to help. Mealtime you are welcomed and escorted to your chosen table, drinks served by waiting staff. Tables cleared quickly. The deserts are to die for. On arrival we easily accessed sunbeds as late as 10am however this changed when several British groups turned up and began putting towels out at midnight. (Sometimes I’m ashamed of my nation) however the waterpark seemed to deal with the overflow well and we always managed to get a bed somewhere up there. Beds are always available throughout the day in this area. Waterpark is amazing with great slides splash pad. Public toilets are clean and well maintained. Lifeguard are quick to respond on all safety measures. Entertainment is darts polo footy. It was great to watch and everyone got involved , this was great as we all began talking throughout the holidays. Evenings are average but worth watching. Drinks are local spirits but this seemed usual even when paying in the bars of protaras. Bus stop outside hotel with 1.50 euro into Protaras or Nappa. We taxi back for 18 to 20 euro after midnight. I can’t praise this hotel enough it’s difficult to find any negatives so relaxing and friendly will definitely be returning with the rest of our family. Big shout out to all the staff who work so hard to keep this place going your efforts are truly appreciated.
- nickhD3048NR (8/5): Would go again - Spent 8 nights here. It had everything we wanted - pool, slides, nice food with variation. The Al a Carte meal was very nice and a nice experience.
Drinks were good too.
Entertainment was good - sometimes the crowd was low so the acts had a tough gig now and again. Mario, the Entertainment Guy, was top class.
Myself, wife and kids thoroughly enjoyed.
Excellent location for going into Protaras too.
- 232riverc (10/5): Great Holiday - Good hotel rooms are basic but it's what you need.
The entertainment man Mario was amazing he makes it fun for all.
Food Is standard A.I.
The waterpark is good for kids and lifeguards seem to be whistle happy but doing their job correct.
All the bar staff are great they work hard. The Hungarian lady I think Vanessa is the best very nice and always happy also the Bulgarian man.
Had a good time at this hotel will return.
- Love2travel6543 (2/5): Awful experience - I want booked at this hotel but had booked the 4 star sister hotel but we were allowed to use all the facilities as it wasnt complete yet. Unfortunately, i had the pleasure of the misogynistic member of staff on the pool bar after an hour of being there so we left and didn't go back. However, I was already reluctant to attend as the horror stories about the food being cooked on bbq s full of cigarettes ends and male staff learing over young girls sounds delightful.
- Arthea (3/5): Poor - The chairs in all areas were comfortable Staff seemed rushed
Quality of food and drinks poor
Bathroom in room not that clean
Towels felt thin rough and old
Not enough loungers for gyests
Entertainment poor
Gym not properly equipped and rusty
Rooms grim, need redecoration
Entry to room like a prison door
- Lambros (8/5): Very good -
- Michalis (10/5): Exceptional -
- Zahran (1/5): Bad -
- Dunnyboy1 (8/5): Great hotel - Great hotel. Rooms big and clean, pool area great and slides great for kids. The hotel isn’t massive which from my experience when there is a water park the hotels tend to be massive complexes, this meant no queue for slides etc.
Pool bar staff great and efficient with you hardly having to wait.
Snack bar great but doesn’t open to 3.30, however lunch starts being served not long after breakfast and snack bar opens shortly after lunch service so no one in our group ever felt hungry.
The breakfast and lunch was great but we felt choices a bit limited at evening and opted to eat out. Staff all very friendly and helpful and a really great 3 star hotel.
- Kats (10/5): Exceptional -
- Karimek (8/5): Very good - Very nice hotel for families with children. The water park was fun, and the food was excellent and varied.
- Adriana (2/5): Not a pleasant experience. - Water slides Unfriendly and inept staff. Doors wouldn’t lock in rooms, very loud. We were locked out of our room as the door wouldn’t open and they made us wait until midnight to get in.
- Exdendus (10/5): Best 12 days - Just returned from a family holiday we stayed 12 nights..
The kids loved the water park..the staff are amazing a big shout out to Vanessa Pete and all the bar staff who go above and beyond Vanessa works her socks off..Mario our Oliver loved you..just something for management to think about maybe in 40 degree heat the bar staff should wear a lighter colour other than black..fantastic stay would definitely return..also Gabriella reception staff were so welcoming
