Very peaceful tranquil place, with a lovely beachside cafe. Didn't realise how far it was from the town centre, couldn't walk it with children, so had to use the car.

We also found the viewâs amazing and overall the facilities great! It was all great to be honest. The only downside was that the swimming pool was closed for repairs the whole trip, which meant we couldnât swim and we did pick this property partly due to the pool to be included, which is a shame.

- Jo (8/5): Fabulous appartment albeit a little chilly if like us you just want to relax in all day - Weâve stayed in the apartments many times as we love it so much. The views are not to be beaten, and we love self catering but with the option of walking downstairs to the restaurant for a meal or drink. It is immaculately clean and everything you could need for your stay is provided. This is our first time visiting when it was really cold and a magnificent storm! The heating went off in the morning and when we rang at 12.30 to say we were really cold, they said it would be timed to come back on at 3.30 and couldnât be overridden.

The kitchen was very well equipped which made self catering easy. All rooms were very clean and tidy and lots of space. Comfy beds, hairdryer, etc. all we needed. There was a separate toilet, as well as bathroom with a toilet. Easy to pick up keys from reception and get help if needed. Although our apartment did not have a view of the sea we had a nice view over the garden. Easy walk to Meadfoot beach, and the cafe there was even open in December, great for getting a morning coffee! Quick drive into Torquay town centre. Nothing specific, we were very happy with this apartment. Only little gripe from small person was there were doors to every room that were on springs to self close and were a little hard to open (completely understandable as probably fire regulation reasons).

They said it was due to lack of use and to keep running it but it never improved. Were able to use the shower ok but a bit of a shame. WI-FI down on one of the mornings but swiftly rectified.

Honestly, someone has thought about this properly and it's just so nice to walk into a place and not find things utensils or other essentials missing. Great views, convenient parking, and good sized apartment. The hills of Torquay :) Couldn't fault the place.

- Carla (6/5): - The position, spacious apartment. Cold though the big old windows let a lot of draught in & the main bedroom was like an ice box radiator did not work. I found an old blow heater in cupboard but the wires at the back were bare it needs to be replaced with a modern blow heater. Cold! The radiator in bedroom does not work. The draft coming through the living room & bedroom old georgian windows makes it really cold & I never feel the cold! The small blow heater in the cupboard was so old it had bare wires at the back of it & no safety cut out feature so the plug just got boiling hot. Have notified reception. A shame because the apartment is a nice size & staff were lovely. If you go in winter like I did take lots warm clothes & your own heater!

But, it was nice to have the pool as an option. The apartment was bright and quite large living room/kitchen space with all the amenities. The bathroom was tiny with nowhere to put our toiletries and not enough places to hang towels. We did use the portable rack in the living room for the towels.

- Wendy (9/5): Absolutely fabulous - The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The apartment was clean and well equipped. The box of essential items provided for the kitchen is brilliant. It was all clean and fresh, had everything we needed to keep the apartment that way. The daily rubbish collection was great. The welcome packs were very informative. The bed was comfy. The attention to detail makes this place stand out from the rest. Wished we could have stayed longer. The only thing we had an issue with was finding our apartment initially because the lift that goes up only has a down button.
- Jane (10/5): A beautiful place to stay. - A beautiful Regency building. The apartment was clean, spacious and well equipped with sweeping views to the sea. Enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor pool and the coastal walks. Nothing.

- anthony (9/5): - Key collection was easy. The apartment was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and white goods. The car parking was first come first served although it says parking included it should say parking not guaranteed.

- Simon (8/5): Great location and a grand building - Lovely apartment, well-maintained and included consumables like washing up liquid and basic tea and coffee. The outdoor pool looked lovely, unfortunately we didn't get time or the weather to use it. It was great to sit in the "events gazebo" and watch the waves whilst eating lunch. The indoor pool is a bit "tired" and could do with a spruce up. I guess every internal door being a spring-loaded fire door is due to regulations, but it became annoying going in and out of rooms.

- Nicky (10/5): The most wonderful and relaxing three nights spent at the apartment. Loved everything about it! - LOVED the apartments, beautiful view, outdoor heated pool and having a beach on our doorstep!!!!! The staff were so friendly. too. I am going to plan another weekend away there as soon as I can! With only a 3.5hr drive from where I live in Surrey - it's definitely worth it to do a weekend away.

- Lindsay (10/5): Another amazing visit. - The cleanliness, the space, the facilities, the ease of booking/speaking with someone/checking in,checking out. The views are spectacular and the facilities are so well thought out for families and extremely accessible. When I enquired about changing some notes for ÂŁ1 coins for the launderette there were none available at the apartment reception, the hotel reception or the bar. Quite an inconvenience, would be better if they kept a stock or made alternative ways to pay. I noticed a man straight after me ask for exactly the same and he too was disappointed.

- Elizabeth (8/5): Comfortable, spacious, well furnished accomodation for a short stay - Spacious accomodation with plenty of storage for a family of 4 with teenagers. Being on the ground floor was perfect and also felt secure. It was helpful that towels, toilet rolls, bath mats and a few toiletries were provided. There was plenty of activities offered but not enough time to take advantage of them all .We enjoyed playing boule, tennis and using the gym. The location of the apartments was ideal, being close to the town of Torquay and a great base for exploring by foot or car The noise from above our apartment was a slight problem. It would have been helpful if a welcome pack was provided ,consisting of fresh milk, eggs stored in fridge, bread and a bottle of wine!

The location was excellent and had exceptional views. Staff were very friendly throughout.
