Lovely little touches, free local snacks and drinks in the room. The staff were very friendly and helped us find our way around. The hotel was perfectly located for everything and the breakfast was excellent! We will be back, thankyou! Nothing, that I could not stay longer!

• Zsófia (8/5): - Great location and stylish interiors! Although the hotel is pretty tiny, the terrace was the saving grace for us. Our room had an electricity problem on arrival but the team solved it right away. We asked for a cot and although it was provided with no extra cost, the bedding seemed a bit improvised and was uncomfortable for my daughter (a normal blanket folded in half as a ‘second’ mattress to make a noisy vinyl coated baby mattress softer and an adult size bed sheet on top that just wrinkled with every move). We were also a bit disappointed with the à la carte breakfast offering very little vegan or egg-less options.
• David (7/5): On the whole, its great for a night or two, but i would need somehting better for a longer stay - The location is right in the heart of Valletta, so perfect for visiting. We had no windows for fresh air in our room. The A/C kept switching off during the night. The bed was much too hard for me, and lastly the shower was a bit too small.

Mabe having an option to not include breakfast and charge a little less.

• Gaynor (8/5): - A beautiful hotel and the staff are credit to you. The roof terrace with the Jacuzzi was lovely. Very clean and comfortable room and the attention to detail and the welcome Birthday gift in the room was appreciated. Breakfast was very good. I didn't get the room that I had booked and although the room we got was very good it didn't have the terrace that I had requested. Also half way through our stay the electricity in the Bathroom cut off leaving it very dark.

• Jim (9/5): Fabulous little hotel. - Lovely city centre location in Valletta, conveniently located for many of the city tourist attractions. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis and the breakfast was excellent. Freshly made to order and served by very friendly and helpful staff. All the staff we encountered couldn't do enough for you, but I'd particularly highlight Leticia on reception who is terrific asset for the hotel. We had a 'superior' room on the third floor, which was spacious, spotlessly clean, comfortable and well maintained. Somewhat unusually, there was no window, but a large (approx 10ft x 6 ft) large glass roof section with an electric blind. Not a problem, but obviously the only view was the sky! A modern bathroom, again spotlessly clean and with excellent quality towels. The rooftop hot tub was a nice touch after a tiring day walking around the somewhat hilly town. We ate in the hotel restaurant one evening and would thoroughly recommend giving it a try. The quality of the food was excellent. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed our five nights here and would happily stay again if we return to Valletta. One minor observation of an issue which is not in the hotel's control. Valletta has many churches and some of them ring their bells four times an hour, every hour, even through the night. A quick purchase of ear plugs solved the issue for us, but be warned!

• Veronica (10/5): Muy recomendable: por ubicación, limpieza y detalles decorativos, y la atención al cliente. - El hotel es un tipo de hotel boutique, con una reforma de espacios y accesos muy acertada para transformar un espacio privado en un alojamiento con clase. La habitación espaciosa y muy bien decorada: con gusto y detalles del estilo decorativo. Original solución para que la luz natural entre por el techo. La ubicación perfecta, el hotel se encuentra en pleno zona histórica y céntrica de La Valeta. El desayuno ofrece unos huevos benedictine muy bien preparados. La atención fue perfecta, el vuelo se retrasó varias horas y llegamos pasada la media noche. La persona que nos recibió fue amable y nos dedicó tiempo para responder a nuestras preguntas y nos sugirió lugares cercanos para pasear y comprar a esas tardías horas. En la habitación sería preciso mejorar el sistema de apertura y cierre la corredera no funciona bien.

• Esteban (4/5): Unacceptable stay—uninhabitable room due to cigarette smell, poor service, no resolution from staff. - Nothing. Location may seem central, but it is highly impractical—set on steep hills with no proper taxi access. Expect to carry luggage uphill on cobbled streets. Very problematic if it rains or for anyone with mobility limitations. AVOID. Room was uninhabitable due to a strong cigarette smoke smell on arrival. Maintenance confirmed it; no meaningful action was taken. We were not moved, no linen was changed, and we were forced to sleep in the room. Staff were unresponsive—no manager available despite repeated requests, and the only “solution” offered was air freshener. Clothes and belongings now smell of smoke and require cleaning. Breakfast was also poor—limited à la carte options with below-average quality.
• Paul (10/5): Quiet, great location, excellent staff and rooms. - Room was good, location close to "top" of Valletta and near may restaurants. Breakfast seemed good (I'm just muesli person but others seemed to be enjoying the cooked options). Rooms open onto an interior courtyard so appear to have no "outdoor windows" and since I was on the ground floor I didn't really like this. But I also didn't realise until the last day that the courtyard was in fact open to outside so I did have "outdoor windows" - I though it was roofed, my mistake ;-).
• francesca (8/5): Molto piacevole - Posizione eccellente, camere pulite, bagni comodissimi e altrettanto puliti. La colazione ben fornita per soddisfare tutte le esigenze. Staff disponibile e attento nonostante le nostre difficoltà con la lingua. Purtroppo i prezzi delle camere doppie a uso singolo non hanno differenze nel prezzo rispetto alla normale camera doppia. Questa è l'unica cosa che andrebbe rivista!

• Marina Corbetta (7/5): Could have been better... - The hotel is in a fantastic position, in the very center of La Valletta Staff is super polite Rooms are clean I booked a superior room which in the picture showed a large window on the street but when I arrived the gave me a blind room with no windows, quite claustrofobic. I asked to change it because it was unacceptable for me and they answered the hotel was fully booked and that was the room I reserved. I do not believe because from the picture on the site it was completely different. Sorry for that because the rest was perfect.
• Bronwyn (8/5): Great location and lovely staff - The location was excellent and the room was very spacious. All staff with one exception were very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was good and the terrace was great. It was also quiet despite its proximity to so many restaurants and bars. A special thanks to Letitia who is fabulous and has provided helpful advice, directions and is very attentive. Also the cleaning staff are great and we reported an issue with lights and fan in the bathroom which were promptly fixed. The shower ran s as bout hot and cold and the lock to our terrace was not working properly. Plus it took a while to work out the air conditioning.

• Maria Amparo (10/5): Unos días maravillosos. - He estado con mi prima y el Hotel nos ha encantado, tanto por el alojamiento, la habitación era muy espaciosa, limpia y bien decorada, como por su ubicación. Los desayunos, eran a la carta y había gran variedad de platos y podías repetir. El personal era super amable todo el, desde los camareros hasta el personal de servicios y muy en especial Leticia la señorita de Recepción, que nos a facilitado toda la información para movernos por la ciudad y en todo lo que le hemos solicitado ayuda. Un 10 por Leticia. Sin duda, si volvemos a La Valeta nos volveremos a alojar en el. Muy recomendable. Amparo nada
• Mark (9/5): Amazing hotel and superb location - Perfect location right in the heart of Valletta. Our Room 103 was great standard, size and well equipped with fridge/mini bar-tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom was spacious. The staff were very friendly. Breakfast which we opted to be included within our package was really good with lots of choice from full English to eggs on toast to fruit or cereal. We planned to have dinner in the hotel but didn’t get round to it however, the hotel restaurant was always busy so I assume it was good. We would 100% recommend this hotel and would without doubt would stay again. I would definatley recommend adding the breakfast package to your stay. The mattress wasn’t what we were used to and was like sleeping on a solid slab although some people may like that. I’d probably pack a mattress topper for our next stay there. Below the bedroom section of our room (103) seemed to be a cleaners store at the side of the lift shaft which could be noisy early morning.

• Jekaterina (8/5): Good stay in the centre of Valetta - The hotel is located in very good place, just in the centre of Valletta. The staff was very kind and friendly. The style of boutique hotel is fine and the terrace of the room was nice. Also nice roof terrace with jacuzzi. Although hotel looks new and stylish, you can notice in the room quite many scratches and other imperfections, plus it's arranged in quite cheap materials while compared with the price per night. Also breakfast quality could be improved more, it's not bad, but after few days of stay, all meals in menu tastes quite similar. It feels like food is prepared without care and attention.

Staff were friendly and efficient, replacing a light bulb and bringing extra towels when required. Only niggle was a sticking bathroom door - didn't close very easily. Needs some attention. Would highly recommend a stay here!

• Michael (7/5): - Die Lage in der Innenstadt ist günstig um Valletta zu erkunden. Im Zimmer zur Begrüßung kleine Aufmerksamkeiten Getränke und Knabberei. Das Personal war freundlich und kam uns mit dem etwas früherem einchecken sehr entgegen. Das Zimmer wirkte kleiner als angegeben und war sehr hellhörig.Gelegentlich schaltete sich eine Lüftung zu, welche insbesondere in der Nacht als störend laut empfunden wurde. TV vorhanden,kein deutscher Sender. Frühstück wurde im angrenzenden Lokal gereicht. Es entsprach nicht unserem Geschmack ,von einer Karte in englischer Sprache konnten Gerichte ausgewählt werden. Haben uns zur Eierspeise zusätzlich Toast bestellt und mit der Marmelade aus Tütchen bestrichen. Die Nachbestellung von Kaffee dauerte leider länger.

• vincenzo (9/5): Nel cuore della Valletta , rilassatezza e ottima accoglienza in struttura che consiglio vivamente - Posizione e cura da parte del personale .Inoltre, quel che a volte può sembrare scomodo : colazione non in struttura, si rivela un plus perché al ristorante dove viene servita si accede direttamente e la qualità delle proposte è estremamente soddisfacente, senza buffet e sprechi . Da migliorare la doccia , ampia e comoda, ma con soffione mal posizionato . Ma è giusto un dettaglio.

Jedyny niesmak zostal związku z sytuacja że w ostatni dzień musiałam wyjechać na lotnisko przed godziną śniadania które miałam wykupione w hotelu. Dzień przed zapytałam się na recepcji czy w związku z tym otrzymamy jakoś prowiant skoro nie możemy pójść na śniadanie . Po konsultacji z managerem pani zadzwoniła do pokoju informując że nie otrzymamÿ nic do jedzenia . Słaby standard jak na taki hotel . Noesmak pozostał.

• Ante (8/5): - Location about as central as it gets, friendly and helpful staff, room was modern and well maintained. Breakfast is served at a restaurant located right next to the hotel. Easy taxi access with pickup point 20m from the hotel. First night we were given a strange room which has only one window which is on the ceiling and it was slightly open with no way of closing it. That means you get introduced to the maltese custom of ringing the cathedral bell every 15 minutes throughout the night very intimately. Quite impossible to sleep that way, fortunately we were transferred to another room the next day and the issue was sorted. Also, breakfast is a la carte and 90% of the menu involves eggs which can be aa problem if you are not an egg enthusiast.

Le fait que après avoir demandé qu'on remette du savon dans la douche et cela n'a pas été fait. Le système de déjeuner à la carte et non pas un buffet. Le restaurant au décor un peu simpliste et mon risotto trop liquide.

• Jennifer (10/5): Wonderful stay in Valletta - We booked a family room that had a loft for our daughter to sleep (pull-out sofa bed). The room was spacious and comfortable. It's the first time in a while that we all slept well away from home! The location in Valletta was excellent--a short walk to everything we wanted to do. The breakfast was à la carte and included in our booking reservations, and it was very good! I would stay at the Cumberland anytime we happen to be back through Valletta. The only issue we had was that the TV in the loft randomly turned on, including once in the night. We informed the staff, and we had no further issues. While not an issue for us, this location (and Valletta in general) would be challenging for those with mobility issues, unless getting a room on the first floor. There were a few stairs we had to navigate, even when using the elevator to our floor. The city is full of hills, steps, and sidewalks that require careful attention when navigating.

• Károly (10/5): Nagyon kedvesek voltak! - Jó helyen van. A szoba (delux) tágas kényelmes volt. A csomagokat már a szállás elfoglalása előtt és a kijelentkezés után is elhelyezhettük a portán biztonságban. A reggeli nem svédasztalos volt, menüről lehetett választani ami kissé egysíkú volt.
