- Nassbud (9/5): - It was good for a night before catching a plane.
Water fountain and walkable distance from center Small issues:
Toilet door 2nd floor hard to close and bed curtains doesn't close properly and the dorm light is quite powerful so during the day it's a bit annoying.

- Catutelle (9/5): One of our best stay in Thailand ! - One of the best hostel we stayed in ! Very comfy and Non was the best host we could expect. We spent Christmas and new year eve with him and he was very kind offering us some food for both events🤗 thank you very much again ! We also met some very nice friends there that definitely made our stay special ! Also, the bathrooms were very clean and the dorms nice. If you are a couple they have some double beds dorms that is a real + Maybe just the sheets where a bit used by the time, overall nothing to complain about 😬

- Jack (9/5): Decent hostel can’t complain - - Chill helpful owner / staff
- Semi social
- Double bed dorm was good - couple small ants in the room but nothing major
- limited number of toilets

- Anaiya (9/5): Amazing experience in our first hostel! - The host was amazing. The overall vibe in the hostel was very friendly, social and welcoming. It was our first time staying in a hostel so was unsure fully of what to expect but the whole experience went as well as it could have. The room was clean and so was the bathrooms. The beds were big and comfy. Towels were also provided. There’s also a washing service available for collection and drop off which was very handy! Thanks so much for a lovely stay. The only negative comment (but this is more personal preference and lack of hostel staying) is that there was limited space for your luggage. We stayed in a double bed, sharing the room with 4 others. It was quite difficult adapting to the space. There was a small locker for valuables but no where for our main bags. This really wasn’t a massive issue just a small side note and only ‘negative’ comment we can think of. We did have some inconsiderate neighbours sharing the room with us but this is not fault of the hostel and fully a luck of the draw situation.
- Yiota (5/5): Very - Great location friendly staff Sheets were very cheap and felt awful.
- Danny (8/5): - Really good vibe in hostel! Very homely. The owner who works at the hostel on an evening, Non is a great guy! I got on very well with him.
Thai style 👌 Bed wasnt the most comfortable but still adequate.
- Arnaud (10/5): - Très bon hôtel avec une super ambiance. Je recommande fortement.
- Arvind (7/5): - Close to the airport
- Daniel (7/5): Fine for a night - Although small and not particularly modern, the dormitory itself was well designed and maintained for comfort. Everything worked. The privacy curtain blocked light effectively and the room ac and an individual fan dampened any noise. The bathroom is attached to the dormitory room via a small storage room with a quiet sliding door. This was good for giving a little extra space to sort stuff out/change early morning without disturbing others. I was very happy to find complimentary Earl Grey tea bags in the little kitchen. the communal area was fairly cramped and not particularly comfortable for sitting around for a chat or with a computer or a book.

- cameron (10/5): I was there for 5 nights and enjoyed every moment of it, already planning as to when I’ll return to Chiang Mai as I coul - 84 gallery was in a perfect location, close to the centre of Chiang Mai, far enough out to be away from the noise but still close enough for it it to only be a walk away, they have plenty of facilities for the amount of people staying there and their showers are clean and modern which is really nice after a long day. The staff and the owner are all extremely helpful and friendly making it feel like a little home away from home. N/A

- Ben (10/5): perfect - Clean, super nice host, who helps with everything eg finding nice places around, bus organization, comfortable, perfect perfect location, cheap, nice bathrooms and showers (several), nice lobby, free water, nice place outside to sit and meet people, favourite hostel so far -

- Dafna (5/5): -
- Alexandra (9/5): -

There’s a market just next to the hostel on saturday and it’s amazing!
- Samanta Roksana (10/5): -
- Raffaele (10/5): - Pulizia, tendine privacy, posizione Nulla
- Charlie (10/5): Initially planned on 5 days, stayed two weeks. Out of every hostel I've been to in 3 months, this ome takes the cake - The property itself was amazing. There's a cleaner that cleans the whole place top to bottom every single day. Communal fridge, kettle, microwave & spare lockers for food including free water aswell. The rooms themselves are well maintained, with a main AC unit as well as fans mounted to the walls for each individual bed & locker area for bags that have an awful lot of space in them! Shower facilities also really well cleaned and everything works the way it's supposed to! No dislikes at all.

- Laura (9/5): Superb - We liked being outside of the main old town square. It was in a lovely quieter neighborhood area but still walking distance to everything. The owner is also incredibly nice and we loved chatting with him.
- Paola (8/5): Very good -
- Laura (9/5): Nice and chill stay - Nice place a bit outside the city center, but still walking distance. The owner was incredibly nice and always helpful. We stayed in both the queen bed room and the dorm, both are clean. The hangout area is small but still met lots of people.

- Ann-kristin (9/5): Superb -
- יעקבסון (9/5): Superb - Clean , amazing staff , comfy , there is water to drink , kitchen, good facilities A bit far from center , not much group activities , but really great regard to it
- Kirsty (10/5): Exceptional - Comfortable beds, great bathrooms with separate showers. Normal sized pillows (not huge like many hostels in SE Asia). Friendly host. Not particularly social vibe.
- Oliver (9/5): Superb - Non is great, funny, always up for a chat, has good recommendations.
The volunteer staff were helpful and chill.
Nice quiet hostel but still sociable
Cool vintage clothes shop around the corner Not the most optimal storage system, a small locker or box in the bed would have been useful.
Not the most central location but at this point I'm looking for things.
- Yang (8/5): I hope the boss will strengthen the management of residents in shared rooms, so that only one person - I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and the first five nights were very satisfying. Except for the sixth night, everything else was great. The hotel is in a very good location, at Chiang Mai Gate, about a 15-minute walk from the Chiang Mai Gate Night Market. If you don't want to walk too far, there are restaurants and two 7-Elevens right at the door. By the way, if you stay here, I recommend booking for a Saturday, because it's the day of Chiang Mai's famous Saturday Night Market, which is just a 1-minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel has three floors and is a very beautiful building. There is no elevator, so if you're carrying luggage like me, you need to be careful because the stairs are a bit narrow. The shared dormitory I booked is on the third floor. The room is quite spacious, and there is a balcony for drying clothes, which I was very satisfied with. There is only one shared bathroom on the third floor, but it is very large, with the toilet and shower area separated, keeping dry and wet areas apart. If there are a lot of people, you can also use the bathroom on the second floor.
The bedding is very clean, and the staff cleans thoroughly. When you enter the accommodation area, you need to leave your shoes on the shoe rack on the first floor. The staff is very friendly, and you can ask them any questions you may have. By the way, this hotel doesn't require a deposit. I hope the hotel management can strengthen the rules for residents in shared rooms. Only one person should be allowed to sleep on each bed. I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights, and the first 5 nights were great. However, on the 6th night, while staying in the 8-person mixed dorm, a French woman in the lower bunk opposite me brought a French man back to the room. They chatted and flirted on the bed from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM. The two of them kept coming in and out, giving the impression that they weren't in the room, but I couldn’t sleep well. At midnight, they returned to the room, lay down on the bed, and began hugging and kissing. From midnight until 7:00 AM, they stayed on the bed all night. I couldn’t sleep at all because the noise was unbearable. I believe adults would understand what happened. There were 7 people in the room besides me, and these two completely ignored the feelings of others. I’m not sure if this behavior is typical for them.
- Malagouen (10/5): Exceptional - The staff was super friendly! I stayed for 6 weeks and felt just like home!
Thank you! None.
- Yang (10/5): The boss is a man with a story - This youth hostel is located near Chiang Mai Gate, just a 15-minute walk away. The Chiang Mai Night Market is also held at Chiang Mai Gate in the evenings, creating a lively atmosphere. It's a great place to eat and shop at night. The hostel is housed in a building with a very artistic vibe. From the building, it’s clear that the owner is someone with a story to tell. Check-in time is strictly at 2 p.m., so if you arrive earlier, you won't be able to get your room key. However, you can store your luggage and must wait until 2 p.m. to check in.
The building has three floors. The first floor is a large public space where you can make friends and eat. There is no elevator, and the stairs are a bit narrow, so you need to be cautious. It can be a bit inconvenient if you're carrying a suitcase like I was. The bed I booked is in a mixed 8-bed dorm on the third floor. The bed is very large, and I believe it's big enough for two people to sleep comfortably. Each bed has a privacy curtain, and when it's pulled down, it feels like a little world of its own. The curtain’s shading effect is good, although you can still see some light outside when it’s drawn.
By the way, the hostel provides lockers on the second floor, but you need to arrive early to see if there’s an available space. You will need to bring your own lock. No matter which youth hostel you stay in, always keep your valuables with you. The economy isn't great, and there are some bad people around, so always be mindful of your safety when going out. Additionally, the bedding here is very comfortable and clean. The duvet is a bit thin, but if you wear long clothes like I did, you won't feel cold.
On the third floor, there is only one bathroom, and the toilet and shower are combined, though the wet and dry areas are separated. There are two showers on the second floor, so if there are many people, you can use those instead.

- Fergus (9/5): Lovely place to stay - I stayed here for 2 nights. The staff are so nice and friendly, Non, Ming, Diana and Sophie are lovely. Very nice vibe here. Relaxing. Bed very comfortable in the dorm. Hot shower. Free tea and coffee. Great location. Nice small restaurant left to the hostel. I'd stay again for sure. Great value for money too. Perfect place to stay if u fly out next day or fly in late in the evening. One bathroom per dorm can be tricky at times if u need the toilet!!!... but not a problem overall.
- Yann (9/5): Cheap, friendly and comfortable. - The host was very nice and friendly. He recommended some tours to do and they were nice 😊
The room itself was nice, quiet and spacious. Nothing
- Nguyễn (8/5): Very good -

- Verified traveler (10/5): - Small and cute place in old town. Super friendly and helpful owner and the rooms are nice. I stayed in a 3 bed room (huge beds and seperated by thin walls, so you felt like you had the room to yourself). Great spots in the area - restaurants, gym, weed shops and night market).
- Brauner (9/5): Superb -
- Holly (10/5): Exceptional - We had a wonderful stay at 84 Gallery, the whole hostel was very clean and all of the staff we came across was excellent. - Alycia (10/5): - The staff were all super nice, great place to meet people. Only a 6 minute walk to some really cool temples & about 10/15 minute walk to downtown, super close the airport great for a first night in Chiang mai.
- Jaya (6/5): Ok for 1 night - Bed was comfortable. Air conditioner working . Toilets were clean..tissue papers provided in each toilet. I was given the upper floor ..stairs are so narrow could not take my bag up..so each time I need my stuffs I had to climb down and climb up 3 floors 🙁. Reception area does not have air conditioner. Too hot to sit in summer. They switch off ac in the rooms during afternoon as well. I wish they had lift

- Cojocaru (10/5): Exceptional -
