• YoloBatura (9/5): - Great and hospitable owner, she makes you feel welcome immediately :) Rooms and baths clean and well maintained. Love the outdoor area with a little coffee/ cooking section in the backyard, all the plants, and some complimentary board games for a cozy night in. Cannot really complain esp. for this price!

Les lits sont durs comme du béton, c’est infernal le mal de dos au réveil !! L’établissement n’est pas propre… Ça ne vaut pas son prix du tout Enfin, passez votre chemin c’est notre pire expérience de la Thaïlande !!

• Paolo (7/5): Cheap and sociable, good value! - Cheap, sociable atmosphere and terrace, well kept. No kitchen (but that is often the case in Thailand). Also do take into account that this is primarily a cannabis dispensary, doubling as a hostel upstairs. Not at all an issue on my end, but many guests do partake and the smell etc. could be an issue for some.

• Abby (8/5): A nice small hostel! - Staff here were very nice and very responsive. There was a different wifi for every floor and the speed was pretty good. It's a weed hostel, so during some afternoons the smell in the room was strong, but honestly, I don't mind the smell. The room looked quite a bit smaller in person than it did online. If the hostel is booked, you may have to wait for a toilet

• Friedrich (8/5): Lovely people lovely time - Beautiful stay here. The staff is super friendly helpful and chill. About all the smoking. What do you expect if you book a stay in a weed shop hostel ? Of course people will be smoking here thats normal. I personally enjoyed the vibe and the company here a lot. If don’t like people who smoke or the atmosphere around them I’d recommend not staying here but if not. These people have my heart. Very lovely and friendly The fans in the beds were a bit unfortunate Applied to the wall. And I’d love for it to have air con but thats it .

• Elsbeth (6/5): Pleasant - The room was fine, the bathrooms were okay. The location is good as its within the old city limits. The downstairs is a cannabis shop which means the atmosphere is a bit strange. There is no real common area for socialising. There is very limited light and ventilation throughout the hostel meaning it all feels quite dark and dingy, it also retains the smell of marijuana and cigarette smoke from the outside. Our room also had ants all over the table.

• Sebastiaan (7/5): Good - Good budget hotel / hostel The place is located above a shop selling cannabis. At the moment I was there, many of the occupants used the cannabis at the balcony. I was fine with it, but something to consider. In the bathroom the water drain is somewhat strange

• Morrighan (7/5): Lovely little hostel - Location was great. Lovely to have a big room with a balcony, and also access to free drinking water and a kettle. Really good stay all round for the money. The WiFi wasn't great, but we were on the top floor right at the back of the hostel. It also wasn't a particularly social hostel, the social space and kitchen upstairs was being used permanently by long term residents so not a great place to hang out. And the front of the hostel was a space used by dispensary customers too, so a quite a different vibe and not great for meeting hostel people.
• Florentina (8/5): Nice - The staff is super friendly, the reception is open since very early in the morning so as soon as I arrive to chiang Mai (6.30am) I could go and leave my luggage. The bed was confortable and even though it is not located in the very center it’s super well located, the hostales is surrounded by shops and very nice restorants

There was no air-conditioning, even though it was advertised as having A/C and there was an A/C unit in the dorm, so it was very hot and uncomfortable, also the place was very dirty where the lazy staff couldn't be bothered to do a good job, also some inconsiderate guests that make too much noise in the tv/computer area, on the whole it's very run down establishment.

• Williams (8/5): Very good - The hostel had basic facilities, with sheets and a towel provided. Everything was very well kept, we saw the staff cleaning every day on our 4 day stay there. The toilets were very clean and the showers had good pressure and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they organised transport to Pai for us with no hassle. Seemed a very safe and friendly environment. Only issue I can think of someone experiencing is that the hostel also sells cannabis so is limited to ages 20 + - which we didn’t know before booking but luckily didn’t mind. The other people staying there also seemed a bit older, like more middle aged which we weren’t expecting.
