• christopher (8/5): Offer of a late breakfast. A winner for me! - The location is very good for those that want to climb Adam's Peak. Relaxed on the rear balcony. Staff made every assistance to help us, allowing also a late breakfast after our return from the summit. Exceptional noise level the night we stayed.

• Alina (8/5): - Отличная гостиница недалеко от тропы на Пик Адама. Чистый и красивый номер, вкусная еда, удобная кровать и очень располагающий персонал. Рекомендую для остановки перед восхождением! И ночью до подьема на Пик и утром после было очень шумно по причинам, которые не зависят от самой гостиницы - ночью плакал ребенок, а утром шумела дорога и проснувшийся городок. Но где тут не так же?

• Maeva (5/5): Correct mais rapport qualité/prix pas au rdv - Bon emplacement pour aller au départ de la montée de l'Adams Peak Chambre au sous sol remplie de moustiques avec une mauvaise vue. Chambre en dessous de la salle principale, on entendait la musique à fond, difficile de trouver le sommeil. L'ensemble est correct mais le rapport qualité/prix n'est pas au niveau de tous les autres logements que nous avons pu fréquenter au Sri Lanka.
• Thierry (9/5): - Très bien placé pour faire l'Adam's Peak. Hôtel moderne mais charmant, chic, très propre sur lui pour un prix très contenu. La restauration est parfaite. L'établissement s'est organisé autour de l'ascension de l'Adam's Peak : vous pouvez laisser vos affaires dans la chambre de temps de la "ballade" nocturne, le petit-déjeuner est servi au retour et le check out étant à 11h, on a le temps de prendre une petite douche. J'ai mis un petit bémol sur ma note concernant le confort car ma chambre donnait sur la rue qui est excessivement bruyante. Il faut savoir qu'avec les départs incessants vers l'Adam's Peak, la rue ne s'endort jamais. Chambre un poil petite.

Vi var der 3 netter uten at rommet ble vasket eller håndklær byttet. Kunne gjerne ha byttet håndklær, fylt på med vann og tømt søppel uten at man måtte spør.

Staff try hard to make your stay pleasant Odd - only one bed sheet, you are expected to lie on this and put a blanket over you. However when I asked for another sheet this was no problem. The electrics are dodgy we got a few sparks from some of the plugs . Evening meal a big pricey . Beware if you pay by card there is a 3% surcharge

• Julie (5/5): Basic but clean, thank goodness for Bose sleep buds, definitely small improvements would lift up ratings. - The bed was deceptively comfortable and as was the pillow, the room was as clean as it should be and location in regards to proximity to the start of Adams Peak walk good. The staff were accommodating once you asked for something. Despite knowing this was a basic hotel there were things that nowadays should be sorted. Right on the road it was extremely noisy all night but the windows did not fit so noise was not kept out - thank goodness for Bose sleep buds; ventilation’ was slatted, fixed wood which did not help block any noise but did allow mosquitoes in nicely😞, although to be fair there was 2 ‘lovely’ mosquito nets fixed ; there was no top sheet we had to asked as there was only a blanket, the staff seemed bemused that we wanted a top sheet and when it came it stank of moth balls. We were left water, cups, sugar and creamers for hot drinks but no kettle and only one tea bag and no coffee. As mentioned by others, the ‘bathroom’ is actually a toilet with a shower retrospectively fitted- there was only a cold water tap for the sink and the shower was tepid but workable once you knew how to turn it on, ( its the square blanking plate under the hose) however plan your shower as once you have used it the floor is soaking, very slippery and the toilet wet 😏. If its important to you the wifi coverage was poor.
• Gleb (7/5): It's a nice place to stay a night before the Adam’s Peak climb, but not for a long stay. - The location is perfect for climbing Adam’s Peak. The hotel’s restaurant and other balconies have beautiful views. Our room was small, very wet inside, facing directly to another building. Also it seemed to be not properly cleaned. Hot water pressure could be better. Restaurant prices are on the higher end across Sri Lanka, while the food quality is just average.

Food in the restaurant was delicious, next day staff helped to organize car to Nuwara Elya. Room was big. No hot water, and that is problem, cause after climbing Peak you want to take shower. We asked twice for towels and blanket, but never got them, that was sad.

• Louise (2/5): Very poor - The location was good to hike Adam’s peak. We booked last minute an accommodation to go hike adams peak. We were not sure about this property but we saw all the good reviews and thought to give it a try. Unfortunately it was really not good with smelly bedsheets, unpleasant insects in the beds when waking up, windows were not closing, not clean in general. We were not expecting anything extraordinary but just wanted a clean bed for a few hours and we didn’t get this. Not sure if we were unlucky with the room but for us this place doesn’t match at all, all the good reviews that we read on booking unfortunately.

Great base to do Adam’s peak at sunrise. Noisy, no extra sheet or blanket on the bed , bathroom slightly smelly and hot water not great.
• Akiel (8/5): Very good - For anyone climbing Adam's Peak, this is the ideal venue to stay: walking distance to the starting point; also, room was clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly (Dileepa and Nadeera in particular), and great restaurant too. Worth every penny 👍

• Edna (9/5): Perfect and comfy location for the hike up Adam’s Peak! - We had a good night stay in the Adams Peak Inn. It was perfectly located for our 2am tour on the Adams Peak. The room was very comfortable and clean + the view from the balcony was great. The services was superb, the staff even opened the kitchen for us even though we were the only guests off season. Thank you again for organising us a taxi back to the train station when we couldn’t find anyone available! :) We can 100% recommend!

The rest is to avoid. - Location to start climbing Sri Pada is perfect Bedroom is large Staff are friendly but hotel owner so so No A/C in bedroom so very humid inside No shower gel or shampoo, as answer we received “you can buy shower gel at store….” Big confusion about accommodation for our driver. Try to make us cancel the booking online (to avoid commission and bad rating off course), if we cancel then free accommodation for driver ! Really didn’t appreciate the way. Breakfast minimalist, and believe me after climbing to the top of the moi Tain when you go down you are hungry, and for the price of breakfast it’s bad. Dinner was awfully limited. All that being said we were off season. But still.

• Nicolas (8/5): Tres bonne qualité prix pour l'Adams Peak - Famille de 5 avec 3 adultes. Sejour du 10 au 11 août 2024. Hotel très bien placé proche du début de l'escalade à l'Adams Peak. Avec resto et bar intégrés abordables. Correct et copieux. Belles chambres 12 et 13 avec belle vue et terrasse sur la vallée en contrebas avec plantation de thé et plein de singes! Petit déjeuner royal vers 9h30 au retour du Peak. Beaucoup d'émotions et de souvenirs de cette escalade. Juste splendide. On est le 14 au soir et nous avons encore mal aux molets et aux cuisses mais que c'était beau et magique! Seul bemol et de taille.. pas de draps du dessus dans nos lits.
• Ruth (8/5): Very good - This is a very comfortable place to stay with good facilities, helpful staff and good views of the valley. It’s 5 minutes walk to the entrance to Sri Pada/ Adam’s Peak. Very handy! Food selection was a bit limited because it was low season but it was tasty. Quiet town during low season.

The shower only had very little pressure and geckos kept getting in the room from openings above the doors. Tv didn’t work either.

De fandt dog et værelse som ingenlunde lignende værelset på billedet: Småt, slidt, beskidt, klamme håndklæder og kun et syntetisk tæppe som dyne. Adspurgt efter lagner fik vi de mest klorin stinkende lagner der umuliggjorde at kunne sove ved luften.

Friendly and attentive staff (special mention Satheesh). Got delayed at the peak but they didn't charge extra for late checkout. Very close to the entrance. Parking available. Very reasonable price. Nothing I didn't like.

We would have liked to be able to enjoy breakfast outside, they said that’s on their list of things to do next.

• Vinura (3/5): Great location, terrible customer service. - Its close to Adams Peak I booked the room for my Mother and Sister while my brother and Cousin would climb Adams Peak. Instead I was told that I could not book a room for 2 people because 5 people could potentially use the hot water. If I was going to stay and use any facilities, I would have to book a room for 5, which was fine, the price wasn't much more than a twin room, however: There was no hot water. Not only that, I initially booked the room as it was advertised as having a view of the mountain. The room I was moved to had a view of a bush. I also booked through this site and tried paying through my card, only to be told on arrival that they don't accept any card payments through booking.com This is the second time we stayed there. The first time was much better than this. Absolutely the most poor customer service experience Ive ever had and Im not staying here again, nor will I be recommending it to anyone else.

• Timothée (6/5): Not really worth the money - Great location to climb Adams Peak. Bed was confortable Not very clean, espacialy on bed linnens and towel with bad smell. Small room with broken floor. The worst was at the restaurant. I asked for 2 beers, the waiter came with 2 Big bottles. When I saw that, I told him to get smallers ones or to open only one. Then he oppened both and said "Already open, it's too late Sir". So I had to pay for both bottles, very close to scam. In short, not worth the money.

• Kerstin (9/5): Comfy rooms with a view - Great location, very close to the start of the Trek to Adam's Peak as most of hotels are lined up along that one road. If weather permits - the balcony is fantastic to just sit down and enjoy the stunning view! As I was climbing up for sunrise and therefore getting up early I didn't get to enjoy the super comfy bed as much as I would have liked but for just a few hours I had the perfect sleep! Due to the low season I was the only guest which is not uncommon for this season as there's quite a few hotels but only few people trekking at this time. The restaurant was closed at that particular day I stayed so I didn't get to try the food here unfortunately, but I got a good recommendation from the staff.

• Bernd (8/5): clean Hotel and perfect location to start climbing Adams Peak - Rooms are very clean and staff very friendly and supportive! perfekt for starting to climb Adams Peak! in the Night lot of loud digs outside that you can hear in the rooms
• Gediminas (3/5): Poor - Environment, friendly hotel staff Food is tasteless, mold on the walls, bad smell in the room, you can't sleep because you can hear everything what is going on the street or other rooms
• Lingeswaran (9/5): Superb - Location and the view was superb and the staff were friendly. Bathroom heater was not working properly. There was nofan in the room and was able to hear outside noise. But there are not major issues in my opinion and manageable

• Ytru (8/5): Very good - For a trip to Adam's Peak, the location is perfect. It is very close to the start (1 minute walking). The sitting place for dinner, lunch and breakfast has a beautiful view. The staff is friendly and helpfull. We really recommend this place if you are planning to climb Adam's Peak! The room is smaller and the bathroom is more basic than other stays we had in Sri Lanka, but it was no problem because we only stayed for one night to go to Adam's Peak.
• Deborah (6/5): nice, clean stay to sleep well before or after hiking to Adam‘s peak - It‘s the perfect hotel to do a trip to the adam‘s peak. It‘s very near (about 100 meters) to the start of the way to the stairs up to a beautuful sunrise. The room was very clean with a beautiful little balcony with some privacy. the bed was super comfortable. everything was perfect. There were just not any other guests or like a vibe I could join.

• Jade (6/5): Pleasant - central to Adams peak nice bed very noisy with improvement works but understandable for improvements
• Niklas (6/5): Good option for your stay to when hiking Adam’s peak. - very tranquelle and spacious, mosquito net around the bed. Also good view of Adam’s peak. Good options to eat. Quite and big rooms. I had my own porch 😮😌 breaky not included. My shower did not seem to work. I used the WC hose to wash my self.

• Katie (8/5): good value - great location for Adam’s peak climb - great location for Adam’s peak, great staff - fairly basic but clean and reasonable for the amount you pay
