• Lerato (7/5): The lady at reception was very friendly I forgot her name - The place is quiet but I had to change my room and had to pay an extra 400 There were cocroches on the bed I had to spray doom before I sleep. They didn't collect me at the airport as promised but they delivered me to my second accommodation

• Charlotte (7/5): Lodge agréable et fidèle à sa description - J’ai passé un séjour globalement agréable à Irock Lodge. L’hébergement correspondait parfaitement à ce qui était présenté sur les photos lors de la réservation, ce qui est toujours rassurant. Le logement était conforme à nos attentes, propre et confortable. Le lodge est également très calme, ce qui est un vrai point positif si vous cherchez un endroit paisible pour vous reposer. Lors de notre séjour, il y avait très peu de clients, ce qui renforçait encore cette tranquillité. Le personnel était accueillant et sympathique, toujours prêt à aider. Le petit-déjeuner était bon, varié et bien complet, ce qui permet de bien commencer la journée. La présence d’un gardien est aussi un vrai plus, apportant un sentiment de sécurité appréciable. Cependant, quelques points négatifs sont à noter. Le principal concerne le prix de la navette pour se déplacer : le tarif est fixe (15 dollars aller-retour), que le trajet dure 5 minutes ou 30 minutes, ce qui revient vite cher. Comme le lodge est un peu éloigné du centre-ville et qu’il n’y a pas vraiment d’alternative de transport, on se retrouve obligé d’utiliser ce service, que ce soit pour aller en ville ou au restaurant. Nous avons également rencontré un souci ponctuel avec l’eau (eau froide), ce qui a été un peu dérangeant sur le moment.

• Maria (3/5): Not everything is as it seems. - The place looks very nice from outside. Rooms are nice and big. Some rooms are incomplete and had building materials inside them. The first night we arrived no water to shower at all. Thought the problem would be fixed by the time we woke up. 3 drops of cold water. Pump was changed at around 12noon. Some of the rooms we were given were incomplete and didn't even have shower heads. First shower of the day. The breakfast was a buffet breakfast cooked in the most unclean kitchen. I still cannot get over the kitchen. Guest are given access to the kitchen so be warned if you break a glass you will be over charged. The price of the buffet is much higher then any other places we stayed at in Victoria falls. For the quality of service this is day light robbery. There is nothing else around so its pretty much eat what is available or starve. The lady that was cooking did the best she could to make us feel as comfortable as possible but the kitchen is full of rats and is very unhygienic. The sink is rusty and full of black slime along the edges of the welded sink. Diner had to be pre-planned otherwise you starve as there is no staff accommodation on site. The pictures on the booking.com are not true at all. The pictures of the food they serve is lies. The pictures of some of the rooms are lies. We pretty much took over the whole place as we were 18 people. Each person had there own experience. Lighting to the rooms was very poor and the children were terrified at night that they could step on something.

He has 2 beautiful dogs and he always made sure they eat too. Mampoe the chef was a lovely lady and did the very best she could. The beds were comfortable enough but lacked housekeeping on our last 2 days. . • Torsten (8/5): Preiswerte Lodge in Flughafennähe - Es ist eine schöne ruhige Anlage unweit vom Flughafen. Der Bungalow war riesig und mit einem sehr großem und mit Moskitonetz bestücktem Bett ausgestattet. Im Kühlschrank gab es zwei Flaschen Wasser. Das Frühstück war gut. Der Flughafentransfer hat wunderbar geklappt. Da die Lodge sehr abgelegen liegt, wäre es schön, wenn man Getränke und ein paar Snacks zum Verkauf anbieten würde. Es gab leider außer den zwei Flaschen Wasser keine weiteren Getränke.

• Kristina (5/5): Disappointed overall – poor value and location - Quiet and peaceful place, nice green territory around My stay was unfortunately quite disappointing. The main issues were the inconvenient location (far from town, requiring a $15 taxi each way, and very is nothing to do around the hotel is just a bush) and the lack of basic service—the staff seemed disinterested, and we had to chase them for everything. Even stuff who doesn’t have responsibility to contact with guests was much more helpful than people whose position does this imply. Manager Sanelle was not interested to contact and to show at least the minimum hospitality, even the breakfast time and etc things never been explained to me when I come to this place. By the way, the hotel was empty, just me and 1 other group of people, so only 2 rooms were occupied… Other people as a kitchen workers and safety guard were very friendly and try to do their best to help me. The room itself let me down: torn sheets, noticeable insects, and very weak water pressure. Small things were missing, like a wine opener in the kitchen. The food was bland and felt cheap. While not a complete disaster, the overall experience felt neglected and offered very poor value for money. We cannot recommend it.

The bed had dead bugs from a while back, meaning they didn't even clean the room for the check in. The was no hot water, the type of room I booked was under construction yet they refused to reimburse me for moving me to a different room. There were water leaks from the rain

• Moira (9/5): Peaceful, comfortable, reasonable and a safe stay, would definitely visit again. - Lodge was not far off the main road from airport. Although the location was a little out of VF town, you had the peace, quiet and tranquility of the bush which I prefer. The lodges were different in styles with everything you needed. The staff were very pleasant under the watchful eye of Mercy Magama who was very informative about the area and happy to help out with anything. No complaints at all. If you don’t have car you will have to rely on the local taxis.

Unfortunately, we arrived, and there was no one to greet us, except the security guard, who gave us a nice tour around the property, including rooms that were obviously occupied by other guests… Our room was nice, but the facilities could certainly use some work. For example, there was no toilet paper holder, and there was about 1/25 of a roll of toilet paper just sitting on the back of the toilet tank. The shower curtain didn’t reach the floor on the shower stall so when you took a shower, the entire bathroom floor was flooded, however, they left a mop in the corner so you could mop the floor up. We thought we had a room with air conditioning, but it turns out we did not, and it was uncomfortably warm. Our host, Mercy, was absolutely wonderful and made up for all the other issues. Breakfast was great, made to order and continental. Transferred to the airport was extremely quick and well organized. The grounds were really interesting! The views were spectacular! Beds were comfortable, however we had flannel sheets on our bed in 38 degree weather!! It was reasonably priced, and was very quiet and private.

Mercy and her team area amazing She personally received our group of 12 at the airport with an amazing mini shuttle bus and luggage cart. Help us load all the luggages. was patient with us and allowed us to enjoy the boma dance on arrival, took a lot of images and videos and joined in our group to party with us. She was very meticulous with all the details, precise timings and went through step by step on our activity plan, made sure all resources are in place and all this while not even being pushy for the money. She was so accommodating, kept us in our pace we desired and got everything sorted perfectly well. Including our transfer to botswana, where we were at a rush because of flight changes, but her team at the border, help us clear the formalities, coordianted with the flight staff and got them waiting for us and we were there on time 30 minutes before take off, quick checkin, and then off we were towards okavango delta. Big thank you to Irock team and we will stay at this place on our future tours as well. the floor in the room is super smooth and slightly felt slippery. Which is a minor fix they will work on. But overall, wouldnt call it much of a complaint.

• Iman Ebrahimi (9/5): Stay in a quiet, beautiful place near the national park. - As a birdwatcher and wildlife lover, the location was great for me. It is on the edge of the national park, and I spent a couple of hours walking near the place. Rooms are very quiet and beautiful. The staff were very kind and ready to help. Facilities could be better.

• Varese (7/5): Good - Sammu was such a good host. Breakfast was nice too I vow to tell the truth although I really do not want to stop visitors going there. It has so much potential. The front area is unappealing although once grass grows & plants mature it will be fantastic. Curtains & mosquito net shabby & with holes. Sammu sorted the hot water immediately. Don't be afraid to ask as they respond well
• Rob (9/5): relaxing after a long journey - the room was very nice the meal on the evening was very good and the breakfast was also very good I would have preferred to be able to have a beer or wine on the evening but apart from that a great 1 night stopover

Sammu pick us up and back to the airport. And give us transportation and advices to do extra things, even visit nearby Livingstone in Zambia No complaint about iroCK Lodge

I like the way they solve the problems, in a 2nights stay l use like 3 deferent houses inseach of either electricity and wifi. 1- they must organise all the keys for the rooms and sliding doors 2- need to make sure all the facility have wifi. 3- On room 5 they must fix the shower tape.

• Phyllis (8/5): - The manager Sam was absolutely brilliant and went out of her way to make our stay an enjoyable one. The rooms were clean and functional but there wasn’t a fridge for drinks or for food. The air conditioner did NOT work and the mosquitos were everywhere. My bed was really hard to sleep on which was uncomfortable.
• Ottilia (1/5): Terrible - Nothing I was a female travelling alone & put on a tent in the middle of nowhere. I booked a room not a tent. Very disappointing, the tent seemed unfinished & not ready for guests.

Looked like it was blocked & cold water tap coming off from the wall. 3. No tiles or carpet in the main room. 4. Type of headboard one cannot lean on it. Not comfortable.

• David (7/5): good enough - The breakfast came too late. We asked for it to come very early, but that request was ignored. The wifi was very unreliable and the staff was very unresponsive in the morning. We were quite late to the airport in spite of requesting an early morning shuttle.
• Hamilton (9/5): Very nice :) - I enjoyed my stay at iroCK Lodge. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay memorable. Also, you can book any activities directly through the lodge, which saves a lot of mucking around. Breakfast is simple and filling. I'd particulalry like to thank Samu, Tshambo, Marv, Gib and Lee their for wonderful service. The lodge is located about 10-15 minutes drive from town.

• Schubach (8/5): Very good - The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The lodge is located in a peaceful area near nature. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Unfortunately there were issues with electricity in the area and the solar at the accommodation was not always working so as a result, the WiFi was not working. However, the staff did their best to accommodate us and quite frankly, we were not there to make use of their WiFi. It served its purpose as a place to stay while we were visiting Victoria Falls.

• Kudakwashe (1/5): Disappointed - Nothing, I have noticed the reviews about this place must be fabricated. We booked 2 deluxe suits but they actually had 1, and they wanted to force us to take the villa which was smelling of paint. There was no reception at all. The whole experience was terrible we ended up changing lodges. I don't recommend this place at all. Book at your own risk.
