• Suzanne (7/5): Enjoyed the town and neighborhood. House needs a little TLC - Great location! Beds comfortable. Walkable neighborhood, grocery store a 10 min walk. Appreciated use of clothes washer and dryer! Kitchen well equipped. Easy access. House was in minor disrepair. Expected a steam room. BBQ not in working order. Many light bulbs missing. Kitchen cabinets broken. Freezer door cabinet broken. Bathroom door handle missing. Several inquiries to host with no response.

Ett annat + är att det fanns tvättmaskin, det var mycket uppskattat efter flera dagar i naturen. Det var enkelt att få kontakt med värden som var mycket tillmötesgående och vänlig. Inga minus. Passade oss perfekt. Men har man svårt att gå i trappor kan det vara ett problem. Då huset har 3 våningar

• Ann (9/5): Great value and location! - Beautiful location walking distance to great restaurants. It was so nice to have the washer and dryer downstairs! Very comfortable and clean. The fully stocked kitchen was perfect. Only one minor thing. There were about six light bulbs missing throughout the house so we couldn’t see around the table to play games and such. But so minor. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

• Örnólfsdóttir (4/5): - Rúmið var mjög gott og staðsetningin frábær. Vorum á Akureyri til að taka þátt í Andrésar andar leikunum og íbúðin mestmegnis notuð til að sofa í. Loftljósin í svefnherberginu virkuðu ekki. Miklar skemmdir á gólfefnum var það fyrsta sem ég tók eftir og fékk þá á tilfinninguna óþrifnaður og pöddur þó ég hafi ekki séð það. Heyrðist mjög mikið á milli hæða og fyrstu nóttina voru læti á efri hæðinni til rúmlega 1 um nóttina.

• Gudsteinn (4/5): - Shower was not possible to use. Water flodes everywere and has been like that for a long time. Floor was ruin cause of water. Parquet was destroyed clearly over period of time. No soap for washing mashine. Only one roll of toilet paper. No extra. No rag to clean table tops. We had to use swimming pool for showers I hobe the owner will redo and fix the shower before next visitor comes.

• Kacper (7/5): Overall very nice place to stay. Would be amazing with some small repairs done :) - Place is overall very nice, conveniently located with a beautiful view, and parking spot. House is in good condition, with some minor but important repairs being neglected, like lighting or door handle. Some lights does not work, some easy to fix repairs that would make this place way more pleasant to stay are not fixed , even though they were mentioned in many comments before. After the stay we had to chance contacting the Host - no response at all.

• Rebecca (8/5): Perfekte Lage - Die Lage war super um abends durch Akureyri zu laufen und Essen zu gehen. Auch um die Umgebung zu erkunden, war die Unterkunft perfekt. Der Gastgeber war bei Fragen sofort erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Die Heizung im Bad konnte man nicht runter stellen, sodass es sehr warm war.

The sofa bed was not super practical and blocked some of the doorway, and bedroom door itself didn't close properly. Minor inconveniences.

Den minste leiligheten er også fin, men passer best til to personer da sovesofaen i stua er veldig hard. Vi fikk ved en feil tildelt kode og beskrivelse til den største leiligheten. Jeg likte ikke at huseier innledningsvis nærmest beskylte oss for å med vilje ha tatt oss inn i feil leilighet.

• Regína (6/5): Very disappointed on arrival, but the flat has potential - The location was excellent. The beds were comfortable. The dishwasher was really full when we came and still most items quite dirty. It is not nice to have to start the vacation by doing dishes after others. We had booked for three persons but when we arrived there were only linen and towels for two. I had asked about the coffee machine and was told there was a Nespresso. That machine is broken and did not work, Hugh disappointment. The kitchen was extremely poor with utensils, so easy to make the stay so much more comfortable with spending very little money on things you need. There were no scissors, no bottle opener, no wine glasses. And the outside BBQ was full of cigarette stubs so we didn´t use it although the weather was perfect for it. So make sure your cleaners really clean the flat, and add few items to the kitchen and fix the coffee machine and than this could be a lovely place. The initial arrival was just such a disappointment so we didn´t enjoy as we could have. as the flat has a great potential.

• Valentine (10/5): This is a great place to stay, a proper multi-roomed apartment to stay in. - This was a terrific place to stay, large, clean, and comfortable, it was by far the best place of the 5 places we booked, it was an actual apartment that you could spend time in. We both really loved it. Netflix available to log into on the TV. The kitchen was well-provisioned with everything you could need. Bedroom was great for me and my friend, and the bed was large enough for two friends to sleep in without getting in each other's way. It's excellently placed for going down the hill into town or up the hill for supermarkets, it's also virtually opposite the swimming pool and within walking distance of the zip line place. We had a lovely stay. There was a bit of confusion in that Booking.com send PINs but it is not the one from the owners so it doesn't open the lock. But they did responded really quickly. There are not that many power sockets and a couple of lamps in the bedroom wouldn't go amiss. There is also a real trick to locking and getting into the place which we never really mastered. It regularly took us a few minutes to get in an leave. I'm fully prepared to admit this might entirely be our fault but it was tricky. Also a bigger bin would be nice for longer stays

Place a bit dusty, I had dust allergy and kept sneezing especially when sitting on the dining table with a hanging lamp that's dust covered.

It is quite disappointing to travel that far to find a dirty room. You should be more cautious about these things.

• Bryan (8/5): Very good - Great location in center of town with available parking. Roomy space for two people. Washer and Dryer were a big plus! There is no microwave in the kitchen.

The apartment was perfect for our family of three, with a separate bedroom and a sofa bed for our son. We had access to a washer and dryer directly from the apartment, of which we made good use. Highly recommend! Nothing I can think of!
• Jaya (3/5): Not a good stay at all. - Close to centre of town. -The bathroom was dirty and had sticky tape all over the floor. -very small opening to shower doors and you have to squeeze yourself to get to the shower. -Laundry room was very dirty and there were no laundry detergent to wash your clothes. -It was so messy with empty cleaning products bottles cluttered everywhere in the laundry room. -The apartment was so bright with no black out curtains in the living room when you have a child sleeping on the sofa bed.
• Carla (7/5): Eh it was a place to stay. Too much street noise but thats not the owners fault. Magic cat was great - The mattress was terrific and having tv streaming a plus. There was a magic cat who somehow kept appearing inside the apartment. The apartment wasn't the one I thought I was getting. I thought I was getting the one on the other side of the house. the one in the promo.For both days someone was drag racing trucks between 1 am and 4 am. too noisy. Floors were dirty especially the bathroom kitchen area. And the shower water goes everywhere if someone were overweight I don't think they would be able to get in the shower.
• Ragsdale (7/5): Beautiful house, good locatiion, could use better cleaning service. - Location, beautiful and good size house, laundry access. It wasnt numbered (#4) so we were trying to open the wrong entrance to a different connecting unit. It wasnt well cleaned and there is nowhere in rhe bedrooms to put your luggage on except the floor. 1 of the beds had no sheets on it, the floor under beds are filthy, bathroom had hair on the floor and there was no bath rug to step on to while getting out of the shower which is a marble slippery floor. They could definitely improve their cleaning service. The link to the guide book wouldnt upload which made checking in very difficult as well.
• Einar (10/5): Comfy and great location - Location was great, and you can park on site. The kitchen is well equipped (we didn't use it though). The beds are comfy, and the apartment is spacious and bright. There is a short walk to many activities in Akureyri, and the town swimming pool is just on the other side of the road - a big pluss there!

The third bed (Sofa cum bed) wasn't ready when we arrived though requested it in advance ! Moreover we had no procure on how to covert the sofa into the bed and when we dropped a message to the host, he did not reply as well.

• Brad (10/5): Even though we saw pictures before, the house was a pleasant surprise. Very roomy for the 4 of us. - Excellent location just down the street from a public swimming pool (which we used twice) and an easy walk downhill to restaurants and the waterfront. The house was large. The kitchen was large and well equipped. We appreciated the 1 1/2 bathrooms and the laundry downstairs was very appreciated not a complaint but you do hear some street noise because you are near a busy street
• M (4/5): Disappointing - Despite promised, as shown in order description, two bathrooms there was only one bathroom combined with toilet and one more toilet but as mentioned without shower or bath. The bedrooms are very small especially one of three upstairs and absolutely without closets or shelfs to put or minimum to organize clothes.

• Shlomi (10/5): Exceptional - We were a family of 5 and we came for two nights. The house is very spacious and in an excellent location, a few minutes' walk from the main street. Private parking is available. Overall highly recommended.
