• Fernando (9/5): Muy buena opoción para visitar Oporto. - Bien situado y muy limpio. Por ponerle una pega el sistema de climatización y control del co2 es un poco ruidoso.

• Carlos (6/5): Esperava melhor, foi razoável - A casa de fato está bem equipada, é confortável e acolhedora. Boa localização. A falta de estacionamento e sendo uma estrada de sentido único, piora a situação. A limpeza da sala e cozinha podia estar melhor. Havia cabelos tanto no chão como no lava louça. Nas "pernas" de uma das cadeiras apresentava imenso cotão. O cheiro dentro da casa, tornou-se um pouco desconfortável, não sei se era mofo ou esgotos. Acabamos por não concluir a reserva e sair mais cedo do alojamento, mas sobretudo porque o nosso filho ficou doente. Teve internado em Gaia e tivemos de regressar às nossas raízes quando teve alta. Aconteceu ele ter vomitado uma vez perto do sofá, limpamos o melhor que conseguimos, de qualquer forma, o sofá já tinha manchas anteriores. Pelo preço esperava melhor, mas pronto. As maçanetas das janelas estão partidas, é uma pena. Porque a casa tem muito potencial.

• Tom (10/5): Excellent apartment - ideal location - Great location within Vila Nova de Gaia! Lovely apartment with plenty of amenities and a fantastic view looking across Porto. Romain is a great host and provided some great recommendations. The location is a 5-10 minute walk to the World of Wines where there are a number of bars, restaurants & museums - well worth a visit. Just be careful of the stairs to the top apartment - very slippery when it rains.

• Lena (7/5): Kompakt boende, med allt man behöver - Vi bodde i tre nätter, och för den tiden kändes området bra. Det tog ca 5 min att gå ner till hamnområdet med barer och restauranger. Flera "vinhus" i närheten - trevligt med provningar. Lägenheten var fräsch och hade ett väl utrustat kök. Vi saknade att inte ha tillgång till någon uteplats att sitta på. Branta backar i området var inte positivt för mina värkande höfter - detta kunde vi dock ha läst oss till.

• Philippa (9/5): Great location and very comfortable - Location was fantastic for accessing both sides of the river. Apartment very clean and comfortable with mod cons. All of the cabinet doors have "push to open" systems, unfortunately most of them do not work. Therefore, accessing cabinets was a little awkward. Bedside light switches would be welcomed. The bathroom would benefit from a few hooks and maybe additional shelving (above the toilet?)
• Theresa (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment was near to everywhere you want to go, and far enough away to be peaceful. Clean, tidy and everything in working order. The owner was more than helpful when our flight was delayed at almost the last minute, resulting in an unplanned very late arrival. The steps up to the top floor apartment are fine most of the time, but we could have done with some light on them in the dark for a 5:30 am departure.

Beautiful walk to Porto & opportunities to explore less touristy areas - We had a very late check in and the host was very supportive and easy to communicate with for handing over the keys and facilitating the check in process. The location of the property was fantastic for us, and walking north across the river to Porto was such a beautiful walk every morning. Staying in Gaia also gave us an opportunity to explore food markets and areas that are slightly less touristy which was a very pleasant surprise.

• Anne (8/5): I would definitely return here! - Location is excelllent - close to the train station and the waterfront. On our final day, our unit suffered flooding due to a plumbing issue in the apartment above, which affected our suitcases and electronics, though in the end no harm was done. The host kindly moved us from the ground floor apartment to the penthouse /city view apartment. Both units were lovely.

• Lex (8/5): - The location was great and we really enjoyed our stay. However, we were under the impression that Porto Moment Apartments would be an apartment complex with a main lobby/reception area, more similar to a hotel, so we faced some disappointments. We stayed in the studio and the entrance to the room was directly off the street. In other words, the front door from the street opens directly to the middle of the studio. This made us feel unsafe, especially as women in a foreign country. We were also incredibly disappointed that there was no way to store our luggage before check-in and after check-out. The lack of some basic amenities was also disappointing (specifically, no iron). Overall, there was nothing wrong with our stay. We were just disappointed that it was not what it was marketed to be.

Exceptionally clean and very bright ap - Spotlessly clean, excellent location, view of the city from the balcony was superb. Romain was very friendly and helpful. The pillows were poor and overall comfort of the bed did not match the high standard of the rest of the facilities.

• John (8/5): Enjoyable 4-night stay very close to the centre of the up and coming Port district. - Private entrance, 5 minutes downhill walk to the river, many nearby bars and restaurants, nice decor, very helpful host who kept in contact when needed. Good shower room, plenty of storage space. Welcome pack of port and pastries. Steep uphill walk to return. Some people may find the immediate area a bit run-down.

The apartment is equipped with everything you would need, everything works, everything is clean and it's decorated very nicely. Owner was waiting for us on arrival and gave us tips about food etc. I rarely give a 10 for any places, but this is clearly a 10! Also location is great, a few mins walking both from metro and riverside, and it's quite convenient that it's halfway vertically between the lower and upper levels of the bridge, so you don't have to climb up to the whole hill in one shot. We were thinking a lot about it, and there's no hanger for towel directly at the shower. That's the biggest issue we could find :) Seriously, there's just nothing to complain about.

It was in a great location and the perfect little retreat between running around the city during the day and going to enjoy a lovely dinner nearby in the evening. It was truly lovely.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Die Unterkunft hat eine einzigartige Lage! Wir hatten keinen Mietwagen und der ist auch definitiv nicht nötig. In nicht mal 5 Minuten ist man direkt im Geschehen. Das einzige wo wir etwas auszusetzen hatten ist: wir hatten die untere Wohnung, dort war es sehr stickig und wir haben immer gelüftet, allerdings kann dann jeder in die Räumlichkeiten einsehen. Teilweise sind Touristen stehen geblieben um zu beobachten. Ansonsten ist alles perfekt!

Ei missään nimessä astmaatikoille, koska joutuu kantamaan vettä 200-300 metriä ylämäkeen joka päivä!

• Geva (4/5): good room. bad street. not as described. - The apartment itself was great from the inside. Beautiful decor and very clean. the woman who received us was very nice as well. How ever, the place was not as described in hotels.com we thought there is an out side garden for all the guests but there was not. there was a constructions site literally right in front of the main door that made a lot of noise and dirt. The door to the studio was right off the street which was very narrow and dirty and you could hear every person that walked by and every car the drove up the street sounded like it is passing through the room very loudly. people passing by can also see right into the bed from the window next to it. all of this wasn't mentioned in the description at all and we said this to the owner who didn't make the smallest effort to make us feel better at all. this was very upsetting.

Personnel très gentil, et disponible Emplacement au cœur de la ville, pas besoin de voiture. Nous avons visiter tout le centre de Porto à pied ainsi que le quartier où se trouve l’appartement la Vila Nova de Gaia qui est magnifique avec plusieurs caves de porto, l’appartement n’est pas loin de la rive de Douro (fleuve) où il y a pleins de restaurant, bar à vin ... tout pour passer de bonnes soirées. Le centre de porto est accessible en traversant le pont en 10 minutes à pied à peine. Nous sommes venus de l’aéroport en métro avec les instructions des propriétaires de l’appartement, sans aucunes difficultés. Logement recommandé +++++ pour votre séjour à Porto ! Un grand merci à Romain et Laura pour ce logement de qualité, pour leur gentillesse et pour leur disponibilité.
