I really appreciated the extra attention to offering quality coffee and soaps/shampoo and body wash. I also really appreciated the option for contactless checkin/checkout. - samuel (4/5): - I recently stayed at this hotel and had mixed feelings about my experience. While the housekeeping staff were friendly and incredibly helpful—especially when the front desk staff struggled to answer my questions—the check-in process was painfully slow. The text they sent to inform us of things always came after the fact. The hotel itself has been remodeled and looks nice, but the main issue was the noise. The walls are paper thin, and I had to listen to my neighbors argue until 2:30 AM. The AC unit was loud and blew directly at the bed, making it uncomfortable to sleep. Additionally, I could hear road traffic with large trucks passing by throughout the night. Parking was another hassle due to ongoing construction in the area. When we arrived right at check-in, the lot was nearly full, and had we arrived later, we would have struggled to find a spot. Overall, while there were some positives, the lack of sleep due to noise really impacted my stay. I expected more from a hotel, especially in terms of comfort. Side note, they did provide earplugs. That should have been a giveaway for the night ahead. I guess you get what you pay for, it was not very expensive.

When my daughter asked for an ice bucket from the front desk staff (because we didn't have one) she had a very condescending experience. It's cute, but loud. The beds are noisy and creaky for just regular sleeping. The neighborhood restaurants are worth checking out. Overall, a very mid, but super safe experience,

North adjacent parking lot is currently closed off due to construction. However two additional free parking options were offered just across the street. The parking lot is small and there were no spots to park our vehicle in the evening when we came back to the property. There were no peep holes on the doors which is a safety concern when building is right on the street.

Great restaurants, nearby, including one run by the property owners with a percentage off of the bill. Complementary water and coffee/tea. Easy walk to campus and all through downtown. For the price, a simple breakfast bar or muffin in a basket next to the morning coffee in the lobby would not cost the motel much but would improve the experience.

Very thoughtful - rooms include complimentary ear plugs, a white noise machine, and a fan (it is on a main road). Beds were comfortable, adequate room size for a family of four - storage is minimal. Check-in and parking were easy. Great location - downtown Moscow is super cute and easy to get around.

We were visiting campus for a reunion and being able to walk to almost all the events was a major bonus. At night, we sat by the fire and enjoyed a glass of wine (provided by us.) It is a lovely place and the staff was so accommodating, pleasant and met all our needs. I will be staying there again.

- Creston2 (10/5): Downtown Gem - It may have been a downtown motel that rents rooms by the hour at one time but now the rooms have been totally redone and are fantastic. The rooms are modern, clean, with tasteful simple decor. I found the bed very comfy. The rooms have all the amenities. The location is a stones throw from Main Street right downtown. Whether the price is a deal or too high may vary on your needs. The only thing that some quibble with is the volume of the heater unit. On medium it measured 60 decibels. Ear plugs are provided. I slept great without.
