- Razvan Dinu (10/5): Amazing hidden gem - The location is amazing. And the garden as well. Highly recommend. When we had to leave, the car was blocked in the garage by someone who didn't leave the key. Fortunately, we managed to get it out and the owners or kind to refund the parking fee.

The room was spacious with every amenity required. Rosa greeted us every morning with amazing breakfast- variety every day and makes you feel very welcome. The whole team were helpful and went out of their way to ensure we had a comfortable stay.

They also were extremely noisy as they serviced other rooms to the point where I could not rest… not cool at all and very inconsiderate

- Teresa (9/5): Beautiful room, thoughtful design, and excellent breakfast - Beautiful rooms, thoughtfully designed. Beds are extremely comfortable, great showers and exceptionally clean space. Staff was responsive and very helpful (Valentina). Beautiful gardens and small but lovely and unique pool. Hotel is extremely well located. Close to main parts of Sorrento and train station, but removed enough to be quiet. Excellent breakfast laid out each morning. A really lovely place to stay. Parking was expensive.
- Lorna (8/5): - The size of rooms was excellent, they were very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with a good variety of different options for everyone. The pool was a lot smaller than we expected, which was disappointing and the grounds around the property were not well maintained. There was an issue with biting insects in the garden, which is where breakfast was served, so I would recommend taking insect repellent. We had trouble finding anyone when we were trying to check out and leave our bags and ended up having to leave a note and hope that there would be someone there when we returned later on to collect our luggage. A mobile number to allow us to message the hotel would have been very helpful as the only number we had was for the landline and no one answered.

- Fiona (10/5): Can’t recommend Villa Manning enough! - We loved everything about Villa Manning. The rooms were immaculate, spacious and lovely. It is located a short walk from the main centre which can get busy, so it was lovely to come back and relax by the pool in their beautiful gardens. The staff were amazing, Valentina and Natalia couldn’t do enough to help us and Rosa cooked the most amazing breakfast each morning! Nothing, it was amazing!

A little gem hidden away from the hus - The property itself was so beautiful, super spacious and all the little cute touches. Fantastic location to the main town and station, walked everywhere. All the staff were so lovely and welcoming. We felt like part of the family. The home cooked breakfast every morning was delicious. We loved everything and would go back in a heartbeat. Just all the bugs in the garden and pool. Nothing can really be done about that. Just some good bug spray

We had the roof garden and pool to ourselves - which was a delight at the end of a day of exploring! The breakfast was delightful and staff extremely helpful at all times. Would 100% recommend and would definitely return. Easy to train station. Short walk into main square and has amazing pizza over the road (with the best bakery nearby too for lunch). We had a family room and it was perfect for the 4 of us. Plenty of space and very clean (cleaned every day).

Lovely a quiet. There was lovely amenities in the bedroom. Some of the areas around the property need a little maintenance. There is no reception desk after 7pm. Would definitely stay here again

An old family mansion transformed to a boutique hotel full of history and renovated with a great taste and design. Natalia, Valentina and Rosa were outstanding at hospitality management. Hospitality was magnificent, Rosa and Valentina were both exceptional. Breakfast was great. 😌 Amenities overall were fantastic. The rooms had everything. The pool is small but enough to cool down in and relax. The kettle in the rooms, prefer nespreso coffee makers so can be updated. The derelict side of the building is distasteful. Its an old heritage building. Half is owned by villa manning relais and the other half is neglected and privately owned which desperately needs to be attended to asap in order to make the stay more enjoyable. The place is also big enough for a communal laundry facility.

- Kelly (10/5): Beautiful oasis in the centre of Sorrento - It is an absolute oasis in the centre of Sorrento. The garden is beautiful and the pool is a lovely added treat. My children loved having the option to splash about. The staff could not have been more attentive, so friendly and made us feel so welcome. We felt privileged to stay in such a beautiful heritage property and we had everything we needed. The breakfasts were a treat! We would 100% stay here again. Nothing, we have had a fantastic stay.

- Pat (9/5): Quirky boutique hotel with a beautiful garden very close to central Sorrento. - It is an oasis, a short walk away from the station and the centre of Sorrento. The garden is just lovely with orange and lemon trees and a quirky pool. The staff were very friendly and pleasant. Rooms were grand, large with all you need. Although we had a dog barking constantly from a neighbour, it stopped by late evening, so we had a very peaceful, quiet sleep. The bed was very comfortable. We could even see the sea from our balcony, a pleasant surprise. We arrived during the day using a transfer arranged by the hotel. But no one answered the door. We tried the phone number and it wasn’t answered. We were starting to panic, when my partner found a WhatsApp page, and we were let in. Breakfast was on our table when we arrived in the room. It was more than adequate, but, and this is a personal thing, we prefer to choose from a buffet layout. For a boutique hotel, cereals were very limited, and no healthy choices, or additional items such as nuts and seeds.
- Whitney (10/5): Great Stay- highly recommend - Very unique property and great walking distance from train, town and shopping and marinas. Rosa made our stay unforgettable as she made a delicious breakfast spread each morning and is so adorable.
- Mary (10/5): - Beautifully appointed facility. Plan to spend a day in the lemon garden by the pool or on the terrace if you stay here-don't let the gardens go to waste! Room was beautiful and clean an quiet considering location near the square downtown. BEST BREAKFASTS I HAVE EVER HAD! Breakfast each morning was to die for...with different options each day. ROSA IS AN ASSET TO THIS FACILITY! Rosa treated us like our own mother would. She was a delight and so friendly, helpful and exuberant. I hope Villa Manning Relais realizes her contributions make the stay this good

Valentina attended to our every need and Rosa served up fabulous breakfasts and conversation via hand gestures and google translate - a delight. Great location, just out of the busy areas but close enough to walk.

- Caroline (10/5): Beautiful Villa - A wonderful stay in a truly charming villa with exquisite rooms and decor throughout. A lovely setting in tranquil gardens, under lemon trees with a plunge pool. The staff were at all times friendly and welcomed our family. Thank you Valentina and Valeria for your help booking local activities and such good restaurant advice, and to Rosa for fab breakfast and kindness to our children! Villa Manning is a home to enjoy, in a quiet location but still central to the station and Sorrento sights. We thoroughly loved it and only wished it was for (much) longer! Nothing at all to change

- Emilie (9/5): Lovely villa close to city centre - We spent 4 nights at Villa Manning and stayed in the junior suite with terrace. The room is very spacious and was convenient for us (2 adults & 2 kids). The location is great, a 5 minute walk to the historic centre yet in a much more quiet location. One of the highlights for us was the breakfast, absolutely delicious and the lovely Rosa who went above and beyond to help us (as we had to miss breakfast due to an early start for a tour, she provided us with a packed breakfast to take with us). Overall a great stay at Villa Manning Relais.
- Calum (10/5): Villa Manning (April 2025) - Very good and different hotel experience to what we’ve been used to (not in a bad way). Throughout the service has been excellent, from helping reach the hotel, to guidance on local attractions and transport to get there, through to making up breakfast packs for us checking out (as we couldn’t make the sit down breakfast). Big thanks to all the staff in the Villa who made our stay very stress-free!

- Farheen (5/5): Over all the stay was good considering the staff and the location which was few mins walk from the h - Rosa was really nice and friendly however the breakfast area and the actual breakfast were just ok. Infact one day we ended up eating our breakfast outside. For sure breakfast area which was quite depressing and also the selections. Garden area wasn't well maintained. Everytime we were coming out of our rooms, there was some sort of smell around. Also it was not properly managed since there were alot of debris and garbage aaround. Going from the rooms to outside we found it kinda annoying.

Will definitely stay again and recommend to eve - It was a small, boutique hotel with lots of traditional and unique elements. The gardens were beautiful and everything was super clean (and I’m a clean freak). The service was fantastic - friendly and very accommodating. There wasn’t anything I didn’t like - but I would recommend two things: - keep breakfast inside as it’s more comfortable for breakfast and the building is so beautiful. Maybe offer coffee and cake outside only. - in the room when there is three people - add two more chairs so there is somewhere for everyone to sit.
- Helen (10/5): Excellent stay. Loved it!!! - It is a small 5 roomed Villa with quirky corridors and a beautiful garden. It was very central and easy to access the main town. Our room was spacious and had a lovely big balcony. Great shower too. Rosa looked after us at breakfast and although her English was limited she tried hard to communicate. Breakfast always good x Nothing although lots of stairs! Keeps you fit.

- Kerry (10/5): I have already recommended this accommodation to several friends and also parents who plan to visit soon. Gorgeous place - Beautiful light, airy spacious rooms. Amazing air con which was essential in Italy in August Mosquitos around the pool, couldn’t be helped but made it very difficult to sit on the beautiful balcony too. Fine in the pool but past 5pm, bitten whilst sat in the edge.

- Rebecca (9/5): Delightful small family style hotel in beautiful gardens with amazing staff - Breakfast was amazing. Including the gluten free. The room was comfortable and lovely. Staff were amazing. So accommodating and friendly. The location was fantastic. Walking distance to everywhere. The gardens and pool were beautiful. Would definitely return and would recommend to anyone. Not at all the fault of the hotel, but we got bitten by mosquitoes all day. At breakfast there was some citronella sprayed, some more of that would have been good. And maybe around the garden as it was a terrible problem despite spraying bug spray a lot. I think we had them in the room too. The fridge could have worked better and the tv didn’t work, not that that was a problem. We also got locked in the garden once as we forgot the room key. Had to ring the front desk. It would be nice to have stairs to get downstairs and not only have to use the lift with a card. No issues that would stop me returning and recommending, just feedback.
