• christine (3/5): Run-Down Hotel Too Highly Priced - Nothing. This is the worst AND most expensive hotel (for its class) we have stayed in during a month of travel in eastern Turkey. Everything in the bathroom was broken (toilet seat, roll holder, flusher, dirty shower, etc.) and it stank. In the room the curtain didn't cover the window (bright light shining in), no bulb in over-bed lamp, and so on. Zero maintenance in an old, run down building. Do not recommend at nearly this price- $60.00) Pretty much everything.

• MZIA (7/5): Generally Satisfactory, Shame About the Bathroom - The location was perfect, right in the centre and we were able to park our vehicle on the street outside which was quite quiet. The manager spoke English and was welcoming and accommodating, allowing us to change our room, which was a good size with comfortable beds. He also offered us an omelette for breakfast which was quite plentiful. The bathroom was unfortunately below standard. Both the toilet flush and toilet roll holder were broken, the toilet seat was not attached properly, the shower cubicle was grimy and stained and the water did not drain easily; most alarmingly, the hair dryer started to emit smoke as soon as it was plugged in!

Komfort raczej podstawowy, ale łóżko wygodne, śniadanie raczej skromne, ale trochę można sobie wybrać, nie żałują gościom jedzenia, nie patrzą na ręce. Personel pomocny, przyjazny, życzliwy. Widać, że obsłudze zależy, by goście czuli się dobrze i można się tam czuć dobrze. Obiekt zdecydowanie godny polecenia 👍

W łazience i w pokoju 303 konieczny remont, czuć kanalizację , sufit niedługo się oberwie, nad łóżkiem resztki kinkietu z wystającymi przewodami , pod prysznicem brudno, rozebrany wentylator z przewodami na wierzchu . Ciemno, słabe światło trudno się ogolić.

Great location in Kars, in the town centre and a short walk up to the citadel. Room was very smokey which was a bit unpleasant. Rooms are a bit dated but very comfortable.
• Bernhard (8/5): Very good - Just a jump to the good restaurants and the Otogar Bus station and 1.6 km to the train station.The castle was just 5 Minuten away. Good breakfast, we ordered omelettes. Our suite was very large.
• Sith (6/5): Good facilities - Good location, close to bus stop and Kars castle. Not too far from the main street, but a small walk maybe 5 minutes. Breakfast was nice, bread, salad, eggs, cheeses and ceral, and really good to have tea and coffee available all the time. Room was spacious. The only real downside would be the rooms were quite smokey, I think more noticeable as a westerner. Room and bathroom were very dark also, and no reading lights. The room we stayed in the wifi was a bit patchy, but other locations in the hotel it was fine.

Breakfast was great, buffet style with various cheeses, olives, veggies, breads, eggs, jams, etc. Coffee and Tea always available. Good place, thank you! Rooms smell of smoke but I expected this so I wasn't too bothered. Bed wasn't the best but again, you get what you are paying for, so I was expecting it. Good value for the price, I have no complaints.
• Namiq (10/5): Exceptional - Impressive! They even provide Sahoor, a traditional Muslim breakfast during the month of Ramadan. The place is clean, cozy, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable, with hot water available for showers throughout the day.
• Hamish (9/5): Recommended! - Really good value for money. Warm welcome. Cosy, comfortable room and bed. Quiet outside so a good night's sleep. Excellent shower. Excellent WiFi. Good buffet breakfast. The rooms are a little 'rough around the edges'. But only to be expected at this price point.

• William (10/5): Thank you to the staff for being so kind and helpful - Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Location is excellent, a short walk to the castle. Wifi and hot water worked well. I get the feeling this hotel doesn't cater to foreign tourists but more to local working men who are passing through the area. So, it's important to have your expectations in check when visiting. The standard is different. For us, it's fine. This is why we travel. To experience another way of life. But for others I know it might be a bit more sensitive. Either way, for the low price it's OK and we were comfortable for our 3-night stay. Heating in the rooms (we visited in winter) could improve. Maintenence details, especially in our bathroom. The toilet seat and shower door were literally falling off. Our room wasn't cleaned once during out stay but I think this might be our fault, as we didn't request it at reception. Maybe they don't do so automatically. Cultural differences perhaps?

• Kursatkagan (10/5): A perfect family hotel - The location of the Hotel was so easy to find, extremely close to the main points of the city. The rooms were large and the heating system of the room was excellent. Everyday our rooms were cleaned and they replaced new slippers, towels and water bottles. From the reception to management, even the breakfast, everybody was always helpful and smiling. We were even late for breakfast one day but they still opened service to us, which they did not have to. To sum up, We are highly satisfied of the accommodation and planning to stay again in our next trips.

The room was quite dirty and there were strange smells that we couldn't get rid off even after opening all the windows etc. Some bathroom facilities were broken. I don't really understand why they didn't give us a room with working facilities since the hotel didn't look fully-booked to me. The breakfast was ok but not exceptionally good. Other reviews are right that there's liquid on the floor and the bread is not fresh.

Very good beds and nice bathroom. The staff was very nice and cordial. The breakfast was good, I just missed some kind of juice for those who are not drinking too much tea but I know that is weird in Turkey. When I go back to Kars I will definitely stay in this hotel. The best option! Internet was weak and inconsistent many times. I had to use my data for working. It seems this is an issue of many good hotels in Turkey...

• Christiane (7/5): Disappointing - Kars has a lovely historic center and the hotel is very centrally located. This must have been a wonderful hotel… once. Nowadays it has lost much of its charme. The rooms are very run down and especially the bathroom with its mouldy shower is unacceptable. The delicious breakfast and friendly staff, however, cannot make up for the desolate state of the hotel.

The morning breakfast was punctual, tasty, and relatively diverse. The bathroom smelt very sulphorous from time to time, and the elevator broke down half way into my visit there, but other than that it was a great experience.

• Samuel (8/5): Comfortable and very affordable stay close to main attractions in Kars - It is important to acknowledge that this hotel is in a less developed region of remote Türkiye which is largely unknown to foreigners and so have reviewed on this basis - expectations would be higher if in more popular destination. Hotel was dated and a bit gloomy but it was in keeping with the city in a way. Hotel very clean and room was spacious and had all the required amenities for a comfortable stay. It was also very cheap - I paid the same price for a private room that I would otherwise pay for a dorm in other parts of Türkiye. Staff spoke little English but were helpful and friendly. Kars castle only a short walk away. Within minutes of mentioning i needed to go to the airport, a taxi was waiting for me! Wide spread of foods for breakfast., which was included in price. Good option for budget traveller. Smoking presumably allowed in room as ash tray provided so smelt heavily of cigarette smoke and so left windows open during stay. Note that this establishment does not accept card - cash only.
• Julian (10/5): Exceptional - The smily and helpfull staff, the breakfast worth it. The water boiled machine in the room. The room was also spacious. Next to the castle of Kars The price is maybe a bit higher than other, but you have also more comfort.

• Antar (10/5): Merkezde fiyat/performans dengesi çok iyi bir otel - Kes merkezde yer alıyor. Ani Harabeleri gibi yerleri görmek istiyorsanız her durumda zaten araca ihtiyacınız olacak. Çünkü hepsi şehir dışında. Ama şehir içinde konaklamak için fiyat performansı son derece iyi, çalışanları yardımsever ve temiz bir otel.

• MUSTAFA (8/5): Konumu iyi, kalınabilecek bir otel. - Merkezi konumda kalınabilecek bir otel, üç günlük konaklama sırasında herhangi bir sorun yaşamadık, personel ilgili ve güleryüzlü, konumu oldukça iyi Kars merkezinde gezilecek yerlere yürüyüş mesafesinde, tabii çok büyük beklentiye girmemeniz gerek.
• FEYZA (8/5): Sinir bozucu olay - Otelde karşılanmamız çok iyiydi, resepsiyonda görevli Ersin Bey'in her konuda çok yardımı oldu. Ancak otelden ayrılırken çok sinir bozucu bir olay oldu. Resepsiyonda Pazar günü görevli olan kişi ödenmiş olan otel ücretini bizden tekrar tahsil etmeye kalktı, ödendiğine dair gösterdiğimiz belgelere aldırmadı, bizi yalancı durumuna düşürdü, ancak birkaç yeri aradıktan sonra ödendiğine ikna oldu da otelden ayrılabildik. Bu olay olurken otelde bizden başka birkaç oda ancak doluydu, bu nedenle bu sevimsiz olayı otelin yoğunluğuna vermek de mümkün değil. tatil boyunca Kars'la ilgili çok iyi izlenimlerimiz varken böyle bir sinir bozukluğu ile kentten ayrıldık.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - Otel kalabalık gruplar için konum olarak başarılı ancak gece kaloriferleri kapattılar ve sabah buz gibi odada uyandık. Yatakların dizilimi grup halinde kalmak için güzeldi ama banyo aşırı küçüktü ve Kars gibi soğuk bir yerde sıcak su problemliydi, ılık bir su akıyordu. Odada telefon ve televizyon çalışmıyordu. Bunun dışında kahvaltıdaki tüm yiyecekler soğuktu. Bütçe olarak uygun olsa da parayla ilgisi olmayan genel hizmet kriterlerinde bazı sorunlar vardı.
