Tricky offer: indicating 30€/day when searching on the Expedia map and charging the same on credit card at the time you’re booking through Expedia. - Effie (8/5): Spacious apartment. - Quite nice apartment. Spacious. Has had a small update done in bathroom. But a good clean would have been good. Not close to transport. But is in a good proximity to supermarkets bakery restaurant etc.
- Patricia (8/5): Good…but less than “stunning”… - From the beginning things got off on the wrong foot when the person assigned to meet us with the keys and to orient us was unable to do so. FInally, after frantic phone calls a woman (evidently a cleaner) met us, handed us the keys with nary a word, disappeared. It’s a nice apartment whose potential is not realized due to shortcomings. Here are some examples. There was dust everywhere. Cabinets and pieces of furniture were broken. There was a lack of basic kitchen utensils like salt & pepper shakers, knives, dish towels, etc. There were no garbage bags, paper towels, toiletries or other basic supplies. A very nice washing machine didn’t work. The air conditoner barely cooled the apartment. There was not even a patio chair – let alone a table – on the balconies. Worst of all, when we went to hang things in he bedroom closet we found the closets were stuffed with garbage bags full of what seemed to be dirty bedding and towels. When it was time to check out we were again never contacted and resorted to locking the keys in the apartment and leaving. All in all, a very underwhelming and less than “stunning” performance. Lest we come off as too negative, let it be said that the location is convenient. There’s a nice parking garage right down the street since you cannot park on the street without a resident permit. Oh, and the mattress was comfortable. This apartment needs quite a bit of work to merit the word ‘stunning’ in the future.
