Vil nevne ett eksempel. Det regnet da jeg skulle sjekke ut. Det var vanskelig å få taxi til jernbanestsjonen på grunn av veiarbeid utenfor hotellet. Fikk da en meget fin paraply til hjelp! Hotellet anbefales.

Rooms are very spacious, bed and showers are good, but it is an ancient structure and building, so don’t expect modern rooms or furniture. Staff when available was very helpful. Great to walk around the area.

Das Haus ist wirklich sehr einladend, die Zimmer wunderbar und stilvoll ausgestattet, perfekte Betten. Die Verpflegungsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls toll, gute Qualität der Speisen. Der Service ist allerdings mühsam und die Zeiten und Orte sind eingeschränkt, die Gastfreundlichkeit zeigt sich hier nur sehr beschränkt. Die Serviceleistung der Rezeption ist umständlich und kompliziert, aber sehr freundlich.

• Verified traveler (10/5): Absolut empfehlenswert!! - Ausserordentlich hilfsbereite, aufmerksame und kundenorientierte MitarbeiterInnen. Sowohl im Hotel selbst, als auch im dazugehörigen Restaurant. Wir sind mit unserem Hund gereist und haben das bei der Reservation natürlich angegeben. Im Restaurant standen dann schon Napf und 3 Leckerchen für sie bereit. Essen im Restaurant war ebenfalls sehr lecker und ich habe zum Geburtstag sogar noch eine sehr grosszügige Aufmerksamkeit erhalten.

• Verified traveler (8/5): Lovely hotel in a great location - The La Couronne is in a great location in the middle of the main part of Solothurn, close to shops and local amenities (unfortunately, most of which are closed due to Covid). Car parking is at an off-site local car park just a few minutes walk from the hotel but is expensive. We paid over CHF 43 for around 36 hours. The hotel reception communal areas and restaurant are clean and the decor is well kept (the restaurant is only open during the morning for guest breakfasts due to Covid). Our room was spacious enough and there was plenty of storage for luggage and personal items. The room was clean but lacked a few finishing touches: * the floor is terribly noisy due to parquet type flooring not being installed correctly. This seems to be an issue in other rooms too as we could hear the people walking around in the room above us. * the mattress is rather soft * pillows are flat * noise from delivery trucks, first thing in the morning, disturbed our sleep. The team at La Couronne were excellent although one small issue at the end of our stay was disappointing; we were charged by the hotel for our stay despite having already paid for our stay when we booked through Hotels.com. We are also charged more than the price of our stay but this was immediately refunded to our card. We wait to see if we receive this refund in a timely manner but overall we liked the service here.

• Claudia (10/5): wunderschönes Hotel im Herzen der Altstadt - Wunderschön renoviertes Gebäude mit Aussicht auf die Kathedrale von Solothurn. Das Zimmer war zwar eher klein, aber stilvoll eingerichtet mit einem sehr schönen Badezimmer. Das Personal im ganzen Haus war sehr freundlich, auf eine natürliche, herzliche Art, nicht antrainiert! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und sowohl auf der Terrasse wie im schönen Speisesaal ein gelungener Start in den Tag! Dass wir unsere Fahrräder in der Autogarage einstellen konnten, war ein weiteres Plus. Wir würden wieder buchen und das Hotel Freunden empfehlen.

• Markus (8/5): Chic übernachten in der Ambassadorenstadt - Die renovierte Krone liegt direkt in der Altstadt bei der St. Ursen -Kathedrale. Der Charme des traditionsreichen Hauses ist trotz der Totalsanierung noch zu spüren. Der Balkon ging auf den ruhigen Hof hinaus. Das Frühstück war gut.

• Jacquelyn (10/5): Perfect Hotel Stay - We were on our own after a tour and we saw Solothun on HGTV so we changed our stay from Bern to Solothun. Luckily for us, I booked La Couronne because it was perfect in every way! It was elegant, spacious, very clean and located in Old Town walking distance from the train station. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The buffet breakfast was delicious. Wonderful stay!
