- Carolyne (9/5): Excellent property, staff and management. - Fabulous courtyard, lush with plunge pool. An oasis and refuge. Fabulous breakfasts. Easy access to the beach, restaurants and shopping. Brand new, two court, pickleball facility. Might be a bit noisy for some with vibrant street life.
- Sommer (10/5): Perfect Getaway - We loved Casa Nawalli!! The location is on the north end of town- it’s a quiet hidden oasis. Everything from the beautiful garden, location, and service was a 10/10. Oswaldo was an exceptional host, he helped arrange anything we needed. We couldn’t have asked for more, this stay was one of the best stays we’ve ever had. The rooms are beautiful, exceptionally clean, and every comfort you’d need.

- Meredith (8/5): Very good - We are very happy with our stay at casa Niwali. The staff and Oswaldo the manager, were so kind and accommodating. The room itself was very comfortable. It is adjacent to a small coffee shop, which I loved starting my mornings at. The garden was lovely and we really enjoyed hanging out by the pool / common area. Would absolutely stay again and recommend! Because the room is in between a rooftop wellness center and a cafe just below, it can be loud during the day with lots of people coming and going. That said, the price for the room reflected difference as the other rooms are more private. And the manager, Oswaldo, offered us free day passes to the wellness center, which was very generous. I would liked that to be included in the advertisement though. It wasn’t an inconvenience since we’re not really in the room during the day time. No other complains besides that!

Our room was beautiful, the housekeeping amazing, the included breakfast was delicious and of course the property and pool was a highlight. Loved the little extras like beach chairs and umbrellas. - Stefanie (8/5): - Overall a lovely stay I would be back. Pool is lovely and not too warm. The breakfast included is very nice. Security was pretty good overall. Grounds are beautiful and an excellent location on the north side of Sayulita. I believe I had the nicest and quietest room… infinite coastlines… at the back of the garden and on the second story. A few draw backs… no check in or check out process which was confusing and should have a room with a shower and changing area for people checking out but not leaving until later in the day. Will check out Casa Nawalli PV next time.
- Justin (8/5): - Overall, we had a wonderful stay at Casa Nawalli. There are so many great things about this property: The grounds are very pretty and well cared for. The pool was clean and a perfect temperature for the weather. The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. We loved that it had ceiling fans as well. The banana bread and coffee were nice to have to hold us over until we wandered out for breakfast. The location was great. It was far enough away from noise, but still close enough to walk to everything. All the conveniences were right there, and there was a great yoga studio and a delicious sushi restaurant next door. The only issue we had was some communication. It advertises to contact ahead about parking. We tried a few days in advance, but never got an answer. Luckily there was a spot on the street open when we pulled up, as there is no dedicated hotel parking. The owners were gone when we were there, so someone else had to check us in, but it was hard to find him when we got there (the sushi restaurant helped us), and he didn’t give us any information. We also were overcharged, but this was resolved after a couple days. We did really like it though and hope to return on our next trip to Sayulita. It was such a peaceful and comfortable retreat.

The gardens and the pool area were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again. Our room was very quiet and spacious but I not sure all were the same. Breakfast is just banana bread and coffee but it was good. There was a delicious cafe right there and a French bakery across the street.

So many birds and butterflies, a fire and a heated salt water pool that also has a fire and a mini kitchen should you decide to make your own meals. The management was accommodating, great with referrals and made us feel completely safe and secure. We would definitely stay here again if we came back to the same area.

It's my Go-To in Sayulita for many reasons such as the amazing staff, starting with Oswoldo, who's an absolute gem, very accommodating and an overall kind hospitable person. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous, it's a little tropical oasis tucked away in a quieter easily walkable part of town with cute bars, restaurants within its immediate vicinity. I highly recommend this hotel, it's also wonderful for solo travelers!

The property was close to everything; 5-8 min walk to the center or the beach. Kind staff. There appears to be no reception area so it is a little confusing when you need assistance. Though someone is always on the property. I was checked in by the chef, and I also saw him serving food. A very hard working guy…I think he could use a break.

- Mdcl (9/5): Wonderful oasis in Sayulita - Dani and her staff were absolutely wonderful for our two-night stay. The pictures don't do it quite justice, nor does your first impression when you see it from the street. It's very unassuming, but once you're inside, it's so lovely. It was a little oasis of fruiting trees, butterflies, and blooming flowers. The room was comfortable and the toiletries they provide, such as the shampoo, body wash, and lotion, were of really nice quality. Breakfast was simple but nutritious: yogurt, granola, delicious freshly-cut fruits, coffee, tea, and some really tasty banana bread from the cafe on the property. We used the salt water pool to cool off one of the days and it was really nice! Our room was next to the cafe and stairs up to the yoga/spa on the third floor. It wasn't behind the gate like the other rooms at the hotel were, so it didn't feel as private or as secure because anyone off the street could access the room door if they wanted. It also meant we couldn't open the curtains during our stay. This is not the hotel's fault and just something you deal with because of all the surrounding nature, but we did find lizard poop on our sheets and pillows the first night. Dani immediately responded even though it was late in the evening, around 9PM, and sent someone to help us replace all the sheets and pillowcases. We did find the squishy little culprit climbing up a corner of the room the next morning. I think what the hotel could do better is sealing the doorway. There was a pretty big gap under the door, which meant the AC would also leak out a lot and probably let in some of the lizards.

Super clean and well maintained. The property is beautiful so much thought was put into using the best finishing for a bohemian vibe. We didn’t stay long enough! Best mini vacation ever.

However, the area around the hotel was quite loud as the street was very busy and there was a loud bar 2 doors down from our room. When it got too loud we went to the pool or beach. Better hotels within 2 blocks. - Staff was very polite, which was nice but did not make up for the bland corner room (just right of the front door with with windows on the open trafficked sidewalk and commercial courtyard) sorry to point out a lack of charm: promised but not delivered. Yes, a pretty garden but alongside a pool too cold to step into. The room right off the front entrance was bland, lacked charm, and had windows on two walls: one with a view of a heavily used public porta-potty 6 feet outside the window and the other of a commercial cafe. Sitting around the pool would have been a better experience if the water hadn't been so cold.
- Mark (10/5): It’s a little garden of eden. - Sayulita was my last stop on a 5 week Mexico adventure. I was pretty tired when I arrived and a bit tired of sightseeing and just wanted to relax. Wow! Casa Nawalli was perfect! I relaxed by the pool reading my book, in the garden area reading my book, in the breakfast area reading my book, and in my room yes reading my book. I was very happy and content here. The staff are wonderful. The location, so close to the beach and nice eateries, is nice. I will absolutely return. Thanks so much!

It is a beautiful and quiet oasis. - I liked the location as it was a bit quieter than downtown and there is a little market right across the street. The garden is beautiful with all of the flowers and fruit trees. The pool area is also very lovely and quiet. Well, I had the room in the main house right next to the restaurant so I was awoken by bottles being thrown into the trash bin every night after 10 PM. Other than that it was a wonderful stay

The boutique environment was exactly what we needed especially compared to the hectic party vibe of central Salyulita but still a short walking distance. If you're looking for an oasis this is a great bargain for what you get.
- Lauren (10/5): - Casa Nawalli was absolutely beautiful, our favorite part was the stunning pool surrounded by greenery which is kept immaculate, and little butterflies and birds flying around. The breakfast nook was cute with good coffee, and the banana bread was good. Very simple/light breakfast. Omar was super helpful and friendly, and greeted us right as we arrived, and then helped with the safe right away when we couldn’t get it to open. The bed was comfortable and the AC worked well. The hotel is just a few blocks from the beach, and even better is on the quieter less crowded side of the beach with better access for swimming. It’s also on the quieter side of town so nice to get away from some of the crowds, but literally only 5 min walk to get there if you want more activity. All of our needs were met and we had a really great time.

Not right in the thick of the noisy parties, but an easy walk to the centre, the market, and the beach. Lots of great restaurants within a block or two and a little corner store across the street. A cafe right at the door! Beautiful heated pool and a lovely breakfast of fresh fruit and banana bread in the garden oasis each morning. Staff super friendly and helpful! Highly recommend! Nothing!

- Brenda (10/5): - I truly cannot say enough about this charming, beautifully appointed boutique hotel. Casa Nawalli is beautifully appointed. Every detail and design is thoughtfully curated in traditional rustic Mexican decor. Omar and Sofia, the managers of the hotel personally attend to your every need ensuring the comfort of guest, and offering the best tips and recommendations to enjoy your visit to Sayulita. The hotel itself is located step from a gorgeous beach and restaurants, cafe's, but far enough from the main street - Calle Revolución to ensure a tranquil nights rest. I would be remiss in not mentioning the fantastic and chic sushi restaurant located right on the premises- Henshin. Head chef, Daniel is a sushi master expertly sourcing the highest quality fish locally and from Japan. I’ve travelled all around the world, and must say Henshin’s Omakase was an absolute culinary delight rivaling some of the best high-end sushi restaurants I’ve been too. I dined there more than once or we had a few pieces before heading out to a full dinner- we simply could not resist. In a world where big chain hotels dominate tourism, it is indeed so very wonderful to find little gems such as Casa Nawalli.

I think Sayulita was not what we thought it would be, but if you know you want to go to Sayulita this would be a nice place to stay. They played amplified music from ~8am to ~9pm, it was sort of acoustic top 40 hits and gentle electronic music. I think the music wouldn’t have bugged us if it was music we liked, but it was not our cup of tea. One of the sushi chefs at the restaurant told us we could get rolls/nigiri or omakase at dinner, but when we went to dinner we found out it was only omakase. The sushi was really good but we only wanted sushi and not the other stuff included in the omakase. The price was similar to omakase options in the states, but with less sushi, so we recommend going for lunch.

The communication since before we arrived was warm and prompt, Oswaldo’s greeting when we arrived, made us feel like we were right at home. The property has a stunning garden, outdoor lounge, and salt water pool. We stayed in the fern room, which was so pretty and comfortable. The attention to detail in the decor, cleanliness, and room setup is superb. The included continental breakfast was a perfect light start to the day… plus an extra meal that was included at the little café called Anchor just outside the property was an unexpected surprise! We can’t say enough good things about this place and would love to return either here or to their new property coming soon in Puerto Vallarta! Thank you for doing what you do, Casa Nawalli. An accommodation and it’s people can either make or break a vacation and these people truly made our stay in Sayulita, exceptional. Highly recommend!

Hotel's premises are also great with kitchen, barbecue, swimming pool and cafe/restaurant onsite. Oswaldo was also a great manager and helped us troubleshoot any issues we had, thank you! I am pretty picky when choosing a hotel, and this one was indeed a great choice! Especially Oswaldo made our stay very comfy from check in till check out! He went beyond with service, took genuine care of us and we really enjoyed our stay with them! The property itself is amazing, lots of plants around and very clean. Great service, super staff. 5 minutes walk from downtown, no noise from the party zone ;) Only thing is that the lobby is in renovations and it's a little noisy early AM and during the day. But manageable. They are building a great add-on. Will be back.
