- Gisela (10/5): Prachtig verblijf met geweldig uitzicht, heerlijk ontbijt en hartelijke gastvrijheid. - Wat een fantastische plek! We hebben een onvergetelijke vakantie gehad op Korčula, en dat is voor een groot deel te danken aan dit prachtige verblijf. Het uitzicht vanuit het appartement is werkelijk onbeschrijfelijk mooi – elke ochtend en avond opnieuw een cadeautje. Het appartement zelf is stijlvol, schoon en van alle gemakken voorzien. Er is een mooi ruim balkon. Het ontbijt was heerlijk, met verse producten uit de eigen moestuin en eitjes van hun eigen kippen – zo lekker en persoonlijk! We konden zelfs kiezen of we in ons eigen appartement wilden ontbijten of op het gemeenschappelijke terras, beide opties zijn fantastisch! Ook de rust op het terrein, het fijne zwembad en de comfortabele ligbedden maakten het tot een heerlijke plek om echt tot rust te komen. De gastvrijheid van het personeel voelde warm en oprecht – we voelden ons vanaf het eerste moment welkom. Kortom: een droomplek die we iedereen van harte aanraden. We hopen zeker nog eens terug te komen! Houd er rekening mee dat er geen openbaar vervoer in de directe omgeving stopt. Wij hebben alles met taxi’s gedaan, wat prima werkte, maar een huurauto geeft zeker meer vrijheid om het eiland te verkennen. Het appartement geeft dit zelf ook duidelijk aan in de informatie, maar achteraf gezien hadden we er goed aan gedaan om de auto al van tevoren te boeken – last-minute was dat helaas lastig.
- SELLIER (8/5): - Bel établissement, simple et bien équipé. Nous avons l'habitude d'aller à l'hôtel, c'était un peu déroutant de ne pas disposer de l'ensemble de service hotelier. Mauvais choix de notre part pour un appart/hotel qui n'offrait pas tout le service hotelier.

- Henna (10/5): Relaxing island escape with great food and wine - A truly wonderful location! The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. Breakfast was exceptional, freshly prepared by Claudia. We enjoyed the slow pace of island life, spending our days relaxing by the pool and exploring the island. There are several excellent restaurants nearby, and we had dinner at Dalmatino twice because it was absolutely fantastic. The island also produces high-quality wines, so be sure to pick up a few bottles from the wineries in Lumbarda. The location is quite remote, and the roads are narrow at times.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming, the breakfast is beautifully fresh made from vegetables grown on site! The pool was clean and calm but we mostly drove to the incredible beaches close by. The view from our room was breathtaking. We would recommend this stay. The wifi was not very reliable which was only important as I work whilst travelling. The bathroom could have been cleaner but overall we were pleased.

The apartment is in a local area of Korcula with only two restaurants within walking distance. While they were great, we found ourselves driving into Old Town on the other nights we stayed.

- Gayle (10/5): Relaxing Stay in Korcula in Spacious Apartment Surrounded by Gardens - Kis Residences is about a 10 minute drive from Korcula Town. We were met at arrival, given a tour of the property, and recommendations for fantastic area restaurants. We had a spacious two-bedroom, two full-bathroom apartment on the ground floor. The second full-bathroom was quite a nice bonus. Claudia, who served breakfast in the morning, was a delight. The gardens were beautiful, pool inviting, and atmosphere relaxing.

- Aurea (9/5): A beautiful property with the most amazing view - Kis Residence is a beautiful property overlooking olive trees, the sea and mountains. The 2 bedroom apartment we stayed in was spacious and had everything we needed as a family. The view is spectacular and we had breakfast in the balcony every morning. The beach is only a few mins walk and the town is about 15 mins drive away. Franjo and his family were great hosts, everything was communicated to us clearly and a special mention for Claudia who was so kind, friendly and helpful during our stay. We would highly recommend this property for a peaceful holiday in Korcula.

Particular shout out to Claudia who was the most amazing host for breakfast! We loved being greeted by her kindness and smile every morning. Her local tips were perfect and she even managed to make reservations for us at a couple of local restaurants (Dalmatino & Marko Polo). The team created a WhatsApp group for us to communicate with them as needed through the stay, they were very responsive. Breakfast deserves a review of its own... the best breakfast we have ever had included with a stay! All freshly grown produce on the estate making up a handful of dishes good enough to be served in a high end restaurant. Served alongside a choice of fresh fruits, homemade muesli & yoghurt, tea, coffee and fresh fruit juice. The pool area was beautiful, clean and relaxing. Our apartment was ideal, with a great view from the balcony and a well equipped kitchenette. Nothing significant to take away from our stay. The wifi was inconsistent, often dropping out. This was only as issue as we found we did not have much mobile signal around the complex and needed to plan our week. However we mentioned it on the WhatsApp group and the team were very quick to reset it, which helped a little.

The room was spacious, stunning and beautifully decorated. But the highlight was definitely the seaside view from the room! Waking up to the see the stunning blue waters was a dream come true. The amenities were top-notch, too, with a small fridge, cozy seating area, and a super comfortable bed. The entire place was immaculate, The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. The hotel has a fantastic pool area with a breathtaking mountain view. It is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring. The breakfast was also a treat—served à la carte with a great variety, each dish made with the freshest ingredients. It was such a lovely way to start the day! Before I even arrived, I received a helpful list of local recommendations, which was so thoughtful and made exploring the island so much easier. Overall, this accommodation has everything you could wish for: comfort, beauty, and excellent service. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Korčula! Everything was very nice.
- Michael (10/5): The perfect base to explore the island of Korčula - What a place! From the moment we arrived until the very sad day we left we had a fantastic time at Kis Residence. Somewhere between a B&B and self-catering apartments our hosts were incredibly friendly, helpful with great recommendations and the home-grown organic breakfast every morning was next level. Always served with a smile and good conversation. The views of the crystal clear Kneže bay were sublime. We spent a lot of time sat there watching the boats sail by. The pool facilities also were excellent. So nice to have a comfortable sun bed to lounge on when you don’t feel like venturing out too far. Well equipped apartment, very easy to eat in if you fancy a quieter night. Very clean and comfortable. Cannot recommend this place enough and I can’t wait to return one day soon! I didn’t like leaving at the end of our stay. I have nothing negative to say.

Thanks Franjo and his mum. - Btreakfast was lovely, with fresh local produce, veggies & eggs served different ways, fruits, yogurt etc..it set us up for the day! Hosts were wonderful and on hand for friendly chat and advice. The view from the balcony in our room was beautiful and peaceful, overlooking lavender field and olive groves out to sea.
- Phillip (10/5): A Croatian Paradise - Everything. The view of the bay was exceptional , the staff were so helpful, the landscaping around the unit was worthy of being called a botanical wonderland. The unit was comfortable The cabinets a bit hard for me ( 5 ‘0 ) to reach A little step ladder would have been nice.
- Sajtar (7/5): Good - Lovely host at breakfast, and the setting at breakfast is fantastic! The room has all you need, and Frankie meets you upon arrival to show you the grounds and to your room. Appreciated that I asked for a top floor unit and was granted because this isn't something they can promise you. The walls are thin, and we had some rather rambunctious guests next to us the first night there, which cannot be the resorts fault.
- Rachna (9/5): Perfect for a relaxing break, great views and the best introduction to the Adriatic sea - The place was exactly as shown in the pics, with gorgeous views, surrounded by fruit trees and vegetable patches. It's location in a small town/village in Korcula was perfect for us as it was not crowded. Driving to Korcula town / lumbardina was easy but 20-30 min away. The stretch of waterfront - beach/pier was 5 min walk away and just lovely for sea bathing. There were 3 restaurants close by, we ate at Dalmatino, it was good as Marko polo was full (recommend booking in advance). The pool looked good but we did not go in. The breakfast was great, with enough choices and they cook with in house vegetables so really fresh, the peaches plucked right out of the tree were just amazing. You need a car to get around and recommend buying whatever you need at the mainland as didnt see any grocery store close by. We ate out, best meal was on way from Vela Luka stopped at Konoba pizzeria Zlinje in Blato and the food was fabulous. Frank recommended Gavuni restaurant in Lumbardina, that was also very good. We had planned to stay in Lumbardina but so glad we changed. For more action Korcula town or Lumbardina would be better but seemed very crowded to us. There was 1 AC in the living room to cool the whole 2 bedroom apartment and the heat was stifling, but on our request we easily got a portable fan which made it better. Frank mentioned that they were planning to get fan in all rooms as the weather was much hotter than anticipated.
- Millicent (10/5): Exceptional - Kis residences is an amazing place to stay. Secluded but with all the amenities you could need - private pool, locally sourced breakfast and a view you could toast a wine too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On top of our great experience we faced some dramatic and stormy conditions lasting over 24 hours and impacting services on the island. While this was not the norm for Korcula, our host pulled through to ensure we had everything we needed - including personally delivering pizza when nowhere else was available! Thank you again to the family at Kis residence and we hope that many more get to enjoy the beautiful experience you have created.
- Darlene (10/5): A wonderful place to stay! - The owners were SO nice! Anything we needed was taken care of. The breakfasts were amazing! Most everything was grown on property and organic. The pool area makes you never want to leave. Great, cozy property! Also, we ate at Marco Polo restaurant, which was just amazing! And, a short walk from Kis. The distance from town is the only downfall, but it’s also a great thing, because it’s super quiet and relaxing.

- Robyn (10/5): Perfect stay, breakfast and host - The host made sure that we had an amazing stay at Kis residence. The property is lovely, green and feels exactly like vacation should feel. On the one side the pool area with the mountain backdrop, on the other side the view of the sea. Within a minute you are at the sea where you can take a plunge. With 3 restaurants at walking distance (we went to the furthest, 18min walk along the coast, great food and nice people). The room itself is simple, but clean. The breakfast is well loved for good reasons, we really thought it was a big plus that they grow everything local. Best part is all the recommendations that Franjo gave us to make the most out of our stay. From hidden beaches to even tips on our route after our stay on our way to Dubrovnik (we had the best seafood meal in Croatia, if not of our lives, because of his recommendation). We would definetely recommend Kis Residence for your stay on the island. Nothing, we had a great time here!

- Dean (10/5): Our getaway to Korcula - Family owned and operated. The property boasts many olive, pomegranate and lemon trees. Lavender has been painstakingly planted all around the grounds…It is a welcoming aroma and so calming. Breakfast included homegrown vegetables, freshly baked bread and a special blend of coffee. Rooms are modern, spacious and well appointed. We had an amazing view of the bay from our balcony. The pool was so nice to have if you felt like lounging. Plenty of onsite parking. A few restaurants within walking distance. A 15 minute drive to the old town.

They cook you a lovely breakfast with home grown ingredients and freshly baked bread. Our friendly host gave us a heap of amazing restaurant and activity recommendations. - Darley (9/5): Laid back apparments with stunning scenery - Stunning scenery, excellent breakfast and the facilities were great. The restaurants and beaches within walking distance were all amazing which I don't think they advertise enough. All the staff were exceptional. Taxis can be expensive and if you want to explore the Island you will need them. Alternatively you can rent a car /bike for your stay if you plan to move around a lot.

They provided lots of helpful information on things to do, places to eat, etc. The breakfasts were a treat and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The views were lovely and we enjoyed being able to swim nearby in lovely clear water. The pool area and grounds were attractive and well laid out. Whilst the views are great and the surroundings are lovely, the rooms were dated and poorly laid out. It would have easily been possible for both bedrooms to be ensuite given the space available and this is what I would have expected with accommodation that is for adults only, 2 couples in the case of our apartment. I had a very bad experience with shower door coming apart as I stepped into the shower. It was frightening. Whilst this was immediately put right, it took one of our party to assist. I did later provide some feedback and received a very sincere apology and a gift of wine which was appreciated but I wonder if it would have been forthcoming if I hadn't commented on the experience.

Great to have parking and a pool Our apartment was quite dated. Very spacious and had an amazing view, but some broken furniture and exposed pipes in bathroom, so could do with some maintenance and an upgrade. Breakfast was average. We were a towel short and no shampoo or conditioner.
