• Christine (7/5): Nice hotel is a deserted old mall area. - Hotel was newer and looked nice. Bed was comfortable. My booking said breakfast included - it was not. That was disappointing.

• amanda (7/5): - Friendly night shift manager. Gave me extra towels when asked. Housekeeping came in to clean and we were out of toilet paper. They cleaned and gave fresh towels but I needed to go to the front desk to get more toilet paper after we returned.
• GARRETT (1/5): Horrible place, do not waste your money - Nothing This was easily the worst property I’ve ever stayed at. Several basic amenities were not functioning properly—the TV didn’t work, and the shower head was broken. The “included breakfast” was also misleading; instead of being complimentary, everything had to be purchased separately, with prices like $7 for a bagel and $8 for a 12 oz beer. The pool was extremely small, closer in size to a hot tub, and the refrigerator in the room was so limited that it couldn’t even fit a gallon of milk. The surrounding area was also disappointing, with most nearby businesses closed down, leaving the area feeling empty and run-down. If you’re planning to stay in this area, I would strongly recommend considering other nearby options that offer better value and more reliable amenities.
• Brian (7/5): - I loved the room and bed was so comfortable. The lobby was beautiful. We booked a room with breakfast and confirmation said breakfast included in price but at hotel was told only I or my husband could have breakfast not both of us.
• Tim (4/5): Sad hotel staff. Probably underpaid. - Average hotel The bistro was a joke. The receptionist, made coffee, prepared some food in a microwave and served the food while running back and forth to take care of people checking out. The Starbucks coffee was bitter and no one knew how to make a good cup of coffee. It took 20 minutes to get a coffee and an avocado toast with dried up greens on top. The bananas were black. The maid never came to the room to change towels. Nor could she be found. As far as I could see only 2 people at a time were working in the hotel.

• Jessica (10/5): It's fine - nothing great for the cost but pleasant - A lot of the staff has no idea what is going on. I apparently had free breakfast with my stay. Half didn't know that and the other half who did told me different things each morning about what that meant. The first morning I was told I got a banana and a small coffee. The the morning a different person said I could order anything I want. Maybe some training sessions???? It's maddening See above. I don't think it is the staffs fault - management needs to be more on top of standards so staff know what's going on

He offered to assist me, very helpful. He said he has advised owner/management. Otherwise, beautiful facility. Area seems to be depressed. Closed Mall next door.

The lobby and the dining area are spacious and comfortable. The rooms are nice and quiet. The area outside of the property looks like a war zone And a lot of places abandoned and not really representative of the nice hotel that it sits in.

• Michelle (8/5): - In a very depressed area with a nearby hotel empty and abandoned and a once thriving shopping mall that is hanging on by a thread. Breakfast was supposed to be included but the counter person had no idea if it was, and when asked about what was on a particular breakfast item, had no idea and said he’d have to look up how to make it! You’d think if he was hired to cover the breakfast counter he’d be trained to properly do his job. Room was very nice and comfortable and the shower was so well designed with lots of space and places for toiletries. Despite the economic depression in that town it is probably the best hotel in the area.

The pillows that substituted for a headboard had multiple stains on them as well as the wall. The tub had paint missing exposing multiple rusted spots. Very disappointed as this was a decent hotel a few years ago. We cut our star a day early due to how gross the room was.
• Julie (2/5): It’s was ok for price but will not be returning. - My daughter liked the pool. We were told that breakfast was included in our booking for the hotel and they only provided us with 1 breakfast for 4 people. We asked them to change our sheets on the first morning we were there and the sheets still had dirt in them like they were never changed and the floor had dirt like no one vacuumed. We also had ants show occasionally on our table between beds. (No food was on tables either).

I wish the area wasn't surrounded by so many boarded up buildings, but that's not their fault. The Marriott premises were very updated & clean, and the beds were so comfortable! We had a good stay!
• Samantha (6/5): - Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when needed. Common areas were clean and nicely presented. The room had some issues. Clean overall but we noticed stains on the sheets. The sheets were not the proper size for the bed and the pillows were absolutely awful; some were entirely flat and others were lumpy and stiff. The a/c did not cool the room effectively because it was under the shelf/cabinet housing the fridge/microwave. The shower curtain was too short to reach the tub so water would get everywhere. The bottles of hygiene products in the shower were empty, and the toilet paper holder was loose and hanging from the wall. The mirrors also appeared to have been wiped down with a wet rag instead of proper cleaner.

• Jing (10/5): - A gem in the middle of nowhere. Room is spacious, very clean and comfortable, with simple furniture but very practical. Staff is great. Overall I'm really satisfied. But it's behind what looks like an "abandoned" shopping mall. So basically it's in the middle of nowhere.
• Maua (4/5): - Our reservation with Expedia added the breakfast fee auto added at the reservation time. Per hotel staff, the breakfast is ala crate, not included with the visit. Requested extended stay until 3 to 4 . pm, declined stating cleaning staff prefers to be done around 2 and therefore we were offered extended until 2pm. After the first night, we were told that their records indicate that we check out at 2 pm the day before our check out day. We ended up being given a new set of key cards because the original one were expiring the day before. The heating system was a hit or miss. The first night it stayed at the same temperature even with the change of the setting. We were asked to join membership however I am not sure if we would want to be members for this hotel. I hope it was only this location and not multiple other Marriott hotels.
• Henry (6/5): not really a courtyard - This hotel is well kept and the staff was friendly and took care of me. For that, 5 stars. But I have a problem with it that they shortcut several of the amenities such that it seems like they are trying to market a side-of-freeway hotel in a sketchy neighborhood as a courtyard to command a higher price. For example, the business center is a single computer and printer out in the open alongside the checkin counter - no privacy. The pool is the side of a postage stamp .. no one uses it bc it has no practical use. And the gym was a few treadmills and some sad free weights. I left with the impression that Marriott has a checklist for what a hotel has to have to be called a Marriott and these people did the bare minimum to check all the boxes. It's a fine hotel but it shouldn't be a courtyard. I expected more because of the brand and left feeling like I overpaid.

Seeing that the shower and other areas had not been cleaned out gr - The stay was responsive to issues that were brought to their attention. The pillow on the bed was from the previous person who stayed in the room, it was visibly used and dingy. There was blood on the couch and it was visibly filthy. I was moved into another room in which the soap from the previous person in the room and lots of body hair was left in the shower. The towels were stained with dirt stains and the furniture was visibly filthy. I turned the couch cushion over in hopes that it would be cleaner and yet again more filth.

• Greg (6/5): Disappointed by lack of basic attention to room. Not even being picky. - Rooms were nice. Staff entered our room and didn’t make the bed. They collected towels on the floor of the bathroom but didn’t replace them. They didn’t restock our coffee or cups. For the money spent on this hotel (over an economy hotel that was cheaper yet lacked basic services like cleaning our room on multiple night stays in the past) we expected a little more. When asked, we were told by the front desk that rooms only get “turned over” if you stay “more than 2 or 3 days”. Had I known that I would have saved my money and stayed at the Hampton Inn a few hundred feet away. Not to mention Hampton Inn includes breakfast. Kinda lame. Sorry.
