- Tyson (6/5): Perfect in a pinch. - Middle of town and easy to walk around The property is tired. It has been ridden hard and needs love. The host was very nice though and walked us up to the room and made sure we were good to go.
- Katawoot (10/5): -
- Jane (3/5): Couldn’t wait to check out 😔 - Location No facilities like unable to make coffee downstairs & poor wifi if any - everything including TV was extremely outdated & rough
- Christian (10/5): - Good location, hot water, balcony, big bed. Staff even let me store my bicycle for 1-2 weeks. I stayed an extra day that I didnt book in advance. Paid cash the morning of. Hours later another worker stops me amd give me money back. The rate for booking in person is less. They could have very easily kept the extra money. Can get cleaning everyday and you get two bottles of water daily.

- Yeoh (4/5): No comments - Poorly run hotel , poor reception service , ageing bldg & interior , landscape not maintenance at all .
Good car park & poor lighting .
Nearby , available alot nice food & desert outlets
- Alan (4/5): - Perhaps outdated and run down hotel. Took considerable time to check in as they looked for my booking. Room had basic necessities, kettle would have been good. Only one plug with 3 sockets in room, but 2 needed for fridge and tv. We had a small balcony, unfortunately didn't use due to pigeon dropping, hadnt been cleaned pre arrival. This hotel in my opinion needs investment. 🤔 I would definitely visit Chumphon again, but most likely not this hotel.
- Storyteller447803 (6/5): Paradorn - Well , great little find , super cheap , but sadly this is because it’s totally run down and therefore very few guests and then less income .
Shame was and could be a great place
Needs
a full new management .
Has all the potential
We stayed Two nights and saw two others .
Great location from station .
Quiet A/C ,
Needs a kettle in room .
Speculate to accumulate is the way forward .
Calle for money amazing , but fear cannot remain in business as is ....
- durianr (10/5): One of my favourite hotels ever. - Ive travelled around the world the last 18 years and Paradorn Inn is a REAL gem. Only planned to stay 2 nights but been here for 7. It is so quiet and the vibe is supportive and friendly. No fake staff here. Just straight up old fashioned good customer service.
Many hotels spray very very toxic pesticides in their rooms. There has been several deaths in Thailand (google it). To the person who complained about cockroaches all you do is encourage more toxic chemicals to be used and ultimately washed into the water ways. Good work. #not My gf is a model so is very health focused (Natasha the banana girl). So am I.
Ive never seen a roach here but if I did I wouldn't care. Im in Thailand and it is a very rich country in fauna and flora. To complain about bugs and encourage carcinogenic chemicals is idiotic at best.
I work for Youtube and am an entrepreneur so wifi is important to me. The wifi in the rooms is weak but I have my own mobile and just hotspot it so no problems. It is a first world problem and one I fix by having my own data. AIS so a 100gb 4G for 250baht.
The mini cafe downstairs sell drinks at 711 prices. That is great. Ladies at the desk are always friendly and fill up my water bottles any time.
Our bikes are safe in the foyer.
Air flow is incredible so you get deep rich oxygen when you sleep at night. Open up the window and your door to feel revitalised vs clogged in the standard hotel room that is shut tight from nature.
Some won't like the non pretentious vibe here but out of the thousands of hotels Ive literally stayed in this is one of my fav because it remains so untouched. It is a bit like Atlanta Hotel in BKK. Oldschool, clean and open air. Big corridors and minimal distractions so you can work so hard online.
Great value at 500baht a night. This is a hotel that boosts health vs detracts from it.
- Dennis_Rotterdam (4/5): Inexpensive but no thrills. - We stayed one night in this hotel before catching the early ferry to Koh Tao the next day. Very good value for money, however not too exciting. The receptionist was very friendly and the room had just all we needed.
- Andreas (8/5): Good and not expensive - Been there just one night . A good and not expensive place to stay and sleep . Cheap breakfast . Will come again .
- CraftBeerDean (8/5): Centrally located hotel about 5 minutes walk from the train station. I paid 420 baht for a twin room with aircon - Centrally located hotel about 5 minutes walk from the train station. I paid 420 baht for a twin room with aircon and a fridge. I didn't sleep here I just used it as a place to wait for my overnight train to Hat Yai. The aircon worked well. The shower was nice and hot. The wifi was a little weak but useable. I tried the bed. It seemed ok. The hotel is a little worn but it's a great budget option.
- William (2/5): - Does not look like photo. Reality is very old and tired and dirty. I had to spray for mosquitos and later found dying BIG cockroach next to the toilet. It needs a big crane with a demolition ball.
- projectbounce (4/5): Very budget friendly, but... - Beautiful lobby but that’s where it ends, lousy rooms with almost no walls between you and next room, you can literally hear everything. If you’re not a fan of cockroaches on the floor of your toilet (in the middle of the night) maybe try some other place. It is very easy on your wallet though...
- S1135WPrichardb (10/5): Return trip try a new hotel - I am very pleased I dropped in on this hotel, I could have paid less for the same room if I had looked but for 500 baht I am happy large room spotless linen working fridge air conditioner and loads of hot water, delightful staff on the desk and a smiley maid of all work. Situated a short stroll from the night market. Working lift helps out when the legs are weary.
- mikey076 (6/5): Oké to stay the night - Did spend one night here while traveling through Thailand. It's a very old hotel but of has some charm around it. Room had working AC. Hot water and the toilet/bathroom was clean. Staff did help booking with transport for a decent price. I advice this hotel to stay while traveling through. Walking distance from train station, but check navigation with locals as it is shown wrong on some apps.
- W8214IZtomm (6/5): Cheap but room reaked of cigarette smoke - Stayed at this hotel for 1 night as wanted a cheap bed. For 400b the room wad as expected...old so actually a fair size but tatty and worn out although seemed clean. The ac worked well but it stunk of cigarette smoke and made me feel quite queazy. Light in bathroom barely illuminates the room but nevermind...staff were ok and location is very good. Bed not so comfy. If you want somewhere cheap for 1 night this is not a bad choice.
- arvidtilfors (4/5): Välj ett annat hotell - The hotel lobby looked good, and therefore the hotel should be ok. Or so we thought.
AC didn't work, everyting in the hotel felt very old and the employees at the front desk didn't speak english and were a bit rude. The hotel was located in an alley which felt a bit sketchy, with some sloppy looking bars.
The plus side was that it was quite cheap, but so are many hotels in Thailand. My advise is to go to another hotel.
- LouenStephan (6/5): good hotel for "night on the nort-south road" - Big building (like chinese hotels), but seem to had better times before. The cleanness is OK. Big rooms with airco and hot water in the bathroom. Wifi included. The plumbing need some renovation.
Breakfast is not worth to eat.
Few tourists are coming here, the staff did not speak nor understand 1 word English.
Elevator is OK.
- TorretjedeCorse (6/5): Good cityhotel - To stay one night passing Chumpon the hotel is a good choice. Good location, near restaurant Fame. Also nice to walk around and see the Thai shops and life.
The room was OK, clean and good for the price. Needed some paint and old fashioned, but we don't care much about that.
Big parking place.
The staff was friendly and we were the only guests. So they made us a local breakfast on request. You can have toast and egg if you like.
With breakfast included very cheap stay.
- Trahtur (8/5): Old hotel but nice! - I stayed twice in the deluxe room . Nice big clean room with a/c, TV, fridge, 2 bottles of water are free every day, hot water, the bathroom amenities ( bar soap, shampoo and shower cap). Comfortable bed and pillows. 2 comfortable chairs and small table. The breakfast included in room rate is pretty good. Convenient location in the depth of the main busy and dusty street therefore there is quiet in the rooms. Walking distance to songtaews stops ( to Thung Wua Laen beach, to Sai Ri beach) , markets, local restaurants, Ocean Shopping Mall etc. The staff almost do not speak English but very helpfulness and friendliness and try to execute everything the guests needs.
I liked this hotel and would advice to all friends of mine to stay there .
- gojibes (8/5): good and cheap city hotel - It is a good hotel, with bath and international television channels for about 9 euros
It's a good hotel if someone wants to sleep going of coming from the islands.
a lot of thais don't speak english
the city is also OK with a river and a lot of restaurants.
- ChrisL436 (8/5): good value - Only stayed one night, but thought this hotel was terrific value for money. I believe it's being refurbished, though we stayed in a standard room, which was light, roomy, good bathroom. Loved the spacious reception area.
- Sean_Ross (6/5): The oldest and first hotel in Chumpon, Thailand - This hotel is not for those who are faint hearted and/or afraid of ghosts, but sure has a unique charm. It is the oldest and first hotel in Chumpon dating back to before WWII. The rooms include most all the original antique furniture including four-post-hand-painted forged-iron beds. It is perfect local for back-packers on a budget and/or those looking for something unique. The family that runs the hotel is extremely courteous, opening all available rooms for tour, and boast Thailand's "oldest hotel cashier", 92 years old and original employee from the hotels first opening. Definitely, a time warp. Take care for the address, as it not well marked. Best found by referring to attached photo and locating at the old intersection of Saladaeng and Taweesinka Road
