• Mhairi (8/5): Lovely stay after initial check-in problems. Capri is close by, as is the Amalfi coast. - Location exc, very close to train station & not far from centre of town. Accommodation clean, comfortable, spacious. Confusion with check-in. I had confirmed their 16.00-17.00 check-in time, then phoned at 16.20 to ask if I could check in. There was confusion about which accommodation I was checking into, then confusion with keys. 10 mins after my arrival, the guy returned to swap over the keys he had given me. The 2nd night, a different guy was letting new people into the accommodation and couldn't work out which doors you used a key for & which doors you used the keycard for. I helped him. Not impressed with team in charge of check-in.

• 1435d66a397371fc1ff10e45ce09900e (1/5): La peor experiencia en un viaje en mi vida. - La peor experiencia en un viaje en mi vida Reservamos y pagamos el hospedaje dos meses antes y el día de llegada nos dejaron parados esperando en la puerta, nos dijeron que llegaban en 10 minutos y nunca aparecieron, tienen el check in para las 4:00 pm, escribimos desde por la mañana, llegamos al lugar desde las 3:30 y esperamos hasta las 6:00 pm y no aparecieron. Nos tocó buscar de emergencia otro hospedaje. Arruinaron por completo nuestro viaje y nunca dieron la cara. Solo reserva con ellos si quieres arruinar tu viaje completamente.

• Narek (10/5): Casa Maflogi- amazing venue, great value for money. - We did not stay at Casa Pantone. Marino, the manager, contacted us earlier to notify of a hot water issue and offered a sister accommodation (Casa Maflogi). Though a bit further away from the downtown, the place (Casa Maflogi) is impeccable, bigger and with all amenities. We absolutely enjoyed the stay. Thanks to Marino. Would absolutely return. Nothing. The communication with the host can be faster, but nothing to complain about.

• Reni (10/5): Perfect location, great service - This property is just a few meters away from Sorrento Centrale as well as very close to the city center. We arrived on a train midday Sunday, so the owner let us to do the check in earlier than written in the info. A very polite and English speaking gentleman waited for us and gave us the instructions. The entrance to the property is through a car gate, so it is closed at all times making us feel secure. The room itself is beautifully decorated. It needs some TLC as walls are all white and there are marks on the walls. Overall great experience and very good value.

Abbiamo dovuto tenere le finestre sempre aperte per farla passare, nonostante facesse abbastanza freddo.

Le check-in aurait pu être plus fluide : nous avons attendu environ 40 minutes devant la résidence, mais la personne qui nous a accueillis était aimable et s’est excusée pour le retard. Enfin, il aurait été appréciable d’avoir davantage d’informations ou de recommandations pour faciliter le séjour.

• Dale (10/5): Excellent location, apartment & stay. Definitely recommend. - Excellent position. Minutes from stazione. Perfectly presented, super clean & comfy. The reviews were 100% correct. I’d absolutely recommend. Close to everywhere I wandered to for my short stay. Nothing at all but I was surprised when the host queried me for only being 1 - solo. Got the impression he didn’t like that! Just made me feel awkward but hey, I still paid & as a last minute booking - was €€ he wouldn’t have had!
• THEODORA (8/5): Would stay there again & again! - Perfect location by the bus stop. The room was spacious, updated and clean. Our room cleaner was magic and never disturbed us. The staff was courteous and always available. The breakfasts were delicious. The pool was nice too. The bathroom could have benefited from better lighting.

La ubicación es excelente: a pocos metros de la estación de tren y autobús, y también muy cerca del centro de la ciudad. Realizamos el check-in en el hotel asociado al apartamento porque llegamos antes de la hora prevista. Fueron muy flexibles con el horario de llegada y nos permitieron dejar las valijas sin costo hasta que la habitación estuviera lista. El hotel no queda tan cerca como para ir caminando con equipaje, especialmente en verano, pero el personal fue muy amable y nos trasladó en auto hasta el apartamento. Para desayunar, hay muchos cafés alrededor, pero recomendamos especialmente el Gentile Cafè Sorrento: allí probamos los mejores cornettos de la zona. La habitación se limpiaba todos los días, lo cual fue un verdadero placer, sobre todo al regresar de la playa y encontrar todo impecable. El aire acondicionado en el pasillo estaba muy fuerte y no se podía apagar.

The aircon was great, location was perfect and an easy walk from the station and into the town and beach. If I come back to Sorrento we will be staying here again! Nothing, was all perfect

The room we stayed in was very bright, clean and spacious with everything we needed; it was cleaned every day which was nice! Our host was very attentive and even allowed us to do an ealier check-in which was great after our long trip. We would recommend Casa Pantone without a doubt! It is located on the third floor of the building; so consider this if you want to avoid stairs (which is a bit impossible in Italy). Everything else was great!

• Grace (7/5): Convenient Location! - The location was excellent, very convenient. A short walk from/to the train station, and to the shopping district/city center/beach. The location was in a quiet, gated apartment complex. The rooms were very clean and beds were comfortable. Host was courteous. This is a gated apartment complex, so make sure to communicate with the host in advance on how to get into the gated apartment complex and room. We didn't know to do that, and had to wait outside the gate for quite a while (20+mins). Luckily I had my phone on me and roaming was available. Recommendation for the host to put a lockbox outside of the gate, so guests can access the keys easily. Comforter on bed was a little harder than normal, but the bed itself was comfortable. Bathroom doorknob broken. Doorknob to the room couldn't lock.

Had to have someone open it from outside. No a/c. Owner promised to send someone but he didn't. Other things: no blankets, hairdryer not attached to wall properly. No place to plug in coffee pot, or to place soap or shampoo in slippery shower. Sporadic internet; noisy refrigerator.

• Janja (8/5): Good location - Casa pantone is located just across the street from the railway and bus station, making it easily accessible. However, Directions for Casa Pantone are not very good, which can make it difficult to find. Main Piazza Tasso in Sorrento is only 500 m away from the apartment house. Casa Pantone was originally a private apartment. After renovation, it was transformed into four rooms of different sizes, each with a private bathroom. A decent stay for two nights. If you plan to stay longer in Sorrento, I would recommend choosing a hotel with BB service.

We were a bit surprised that the room was actually in an apartment building, but once we had access it was actually kind of nice. We weren't aware that we needed to call to get 'checked-in'. Since it's in an apartment building, we had to call and someone from a nearby hotel had to come and let us into the property (gated). Instructions on this process would have been helpful. Breakfast was in the hotel (about a 10 minute walk) - so we never got to have that as we had early morning sightseeing scheduled and the hotel was in the opposite direction from where we needed to be.

The train station is just over the road, and the main square is only a 5min walk. There is a restaurant and local shop right next door. Very secure and safe location. Very quiet and clean. Handy to know - there is a secure bag deposit at the train station, where you can leave your suitcase €6, rather than lug it around with you! I would definitely book to stay here again. We were told a Taxi transfer would be waiting at the airport on arrival, and they weren’t. However, they made good contact and a driver was there within 10mins. When we got to the accommodation, there was no one there to greet us and let us in, so had to wait again, until someone arrived. Very friendly and informative. They are very quick at replying to any questions and queries, however, not so good at helping to arrange transport ie. Taxis. But was easy enough to arrange this independently.

• Carol (1/5): Disappointing!!!! It was advertised on Booking.com as a hotel and it certainly is not. - We liked the location. Casa Pantone is NOT a hotel it is one of three rooms in an apartment building. It has no staff in attendance. Our entrance cards were somehow cancelled on the second night of our three night stay. We had no way of contacting anyone from the accommodation apart from asking an elderly neighbour to call them. It’s a very frightening experience to be locked out late at night. Also, their towels are disgustingly dirty and thin. This accommodation is very expensive. Our neighbours paid €900 for one night for three people!!!!!! I would never recommend this place.

• Sydney (5/5): Clean facility but inside of an apartment building and inconvient to find and check in, staff not always accommodating - The property itself was very clean. The room was spacious and bright. It had toiletries and was close to the train station which was convenient. I felt catfished. There was no information that it was a satellite property for Grand Hotel Flora. They were unable to store bags at Casa Pantone on site due to the fact it is three rooms inside of a residential apartment complex. You need to get the keys from Grand Hotel Flora which is an 11 minute walk out of the way. They were accommodating with holding bags while checking in, but checking out was a headache. We had several suitcases as we were traveling for a month and they were difficult with holding them, requesting we bring them back and forth from the properties ourselves, while the day prior we were informed that they would offer assistance with their on site vehicle. The level of service and hospitality is different when you are checking in vs checking out. I likely would not stay in Casa Pantone again because it is in an odd spot and inconvenient.
