- Maria (9/5): Great value for money stay in the centre of the city - Check in was welcoming. The room was clean and communication with the owner was great.
- Immanuel (9/5): Superb -
- Stephen (8/5): Very good -
- Alec2603 (6/5): Pleasant -
- Luis (9/5): Superb - Nice place run by a family very simple and honest. Good price.
- Genna (10/5): Great location and helpful staff - The family went above and beyond to help me with a personal emergency. They really saved me and I am so grateful!! They also offered to upgrade us to a bigger room but we were happy with our original 2 bed room. Beds were clean and comfy. AC and clean private bathroom. Little closet to hang clothes and water bottles and fountain for free. We had a corner room so we could see the Phousi Hill from our window which was cute. Central location you can walk to everything.
- Mark (9/5): Superb -
- Polina (9/5): Superb - The location is very good.
- Cabral (8/5): Very good - Good location .
I thought about moving and I found near by rooms much bigger and confortable by the same price, but the couple who runs it is so sweet and friendly that I've decided to stay Cold room to basic and small
- Le (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rudi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jonathan (6/5): Pleasant -
- Tim (6/5): Friendly - small guest house but friendly. Simple breakfast. does not take credit cards so be prepared with cash. room on check-in smelled terrible, remainder of stay switched to another room which was ok. No tourist booking .
- Ryoji (9/5): This guesthouse is very frienly and comfortable. - All family members of the staff are very frienly. The location is convenient. They reserved the seat on the express train to
Vientian for me kindly. You can see Japanese Intenational TV(NHK) in your room. I do hope the room with refrigerator.
- Liz (8/5): Very good -
- Ramchandra (5/5): GUESTHOUSE IS GUESTHOUSE - Location Average guesthouse
- Justas (9/5): Superb -
- Csaba (6/5): For one night OK - Location is good, everything is walking distance, including the night market. The staff members are nice, and you get free coffee and bananas. For one night, it is fine, if you spend most of your time outside. My room was very small and not too light, although there was a window. There was hardly any space around the bed for your luggage (no cupboards). It is not a room you want to spend too much time in, it is good literally only for sleeping. Wall plugs are placed in awkward positions. The price, when I booked, was much higher than I would expect, but it was the holiday season, and I booked anyway, afraid I would not find rooms in the centre. Turned out, they had quite a few available rooms, so I would have been better off without booking and trying to book in person.
- Andre (9/5): Correct -
- David (8/5): Very good - Good location. Ok room with window AC, no fan, ok bathroom.A pleasant, small breakfast, hangout area.Very welcoming and helpful owners. Room was small, with little space around the bed and no hooks to hang clothes. Luang Prabang accommodation felt overpriced, but the town was very busy in Chinese New Year, so this guest house is just charging market rates
- Ilona (8/5): Nice stay for a nice price - The location is 10 minutes walking distance to the nigh market or 5 minutes to the entrance of Phousi Hill.
Breakfast was nice - you can choose one of the options from the card they have attached pic (like on the picture).
Comfy beds.
It is quite old buildind and usually it comes with some kind of dirt, but not here and it is nice to see - cleanless should not be apart of the price.
You can get unlimited tea and coffee.
- Kelly (7/5): Great location - Very good location, close to night market. Breakfast is simple but good! We really liked the provided free drinking water. First night we had a really small, noisy room without window on the ground floor. Next morning we were able to switch without any problems when we asked. The new room was perfect, spacious and a lot of daylight.
While checking in we asked the total amount and they were ok with us paying at checkout. Whilst checking out they firstly tried to use a very bad $ rate. But after some discussion and phone calls we paid the original (fair) price.
- Helena (9/5): Superb -
- Trudy (10/5): Exceptional -
- Beatrice (7/5): Good - Kindly staff!
The description of the room is real so really small, but they changed immediately the room when we asked to change it!
- Samir (10/5): Great people great location great value for money! - Amazing location just off the main road near the famous night market and food market. Checkin was nice and easy to do considering we arrived in the early morning. Thank you for your help and advice and breakfast was perfect too.
We loved Luang Prabang and our stay with you nothing
- Ramil (10/5): Exceptional -
- Alexsky99 (7/5): Good -
- Luc (8/5): Very good -
- Mariane (9/5): Perfect location. Just by the pub street. Near ATM, money exchange and restaurants. -
- Aleksi (6/5): Pleasant - Location was really good.
Just a quick walk to night market etc. Room was super noisy and pretty dirty.
- Mauricio (9/5): Superb - Todo muy bien!!!
- Lucyorton (8/5): Very good - Staff were nice and have a really cute dog! Breakfast was good. Beds were comfy.
- Portia (8/5): Good budget hotel - Good mid tier budget hotel. Good location. Comfortable room but nothing special. The staff were super helpful, making sure we got into our correct transportation the morning we left. Laundry service was 25k/kilo collected same day. Breakfast was fine. There were some very friendly dogs to play with. No toilet paper in the bathroom, we had to request some.
- Anonymous (9/5): Good service - The location is near a market,
- Keith (8/5): Really enjoyed my stay with these nice people. - This is nice quiet place. In a good location. Very comfortable bed and good hot shower. They give you a nice breakfast every day. Easy walking to markets and restaurants nearby. Plus they lock my motorcycle up under there house at night. Nothing really, this is an old guesthouse and you get what you pay for.
- Gregory (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mai (8/5): Very good -
- Trudel (7/5): Good -
- Stacey (9/5): Superb - Great location, powerful shower, quiet room, lovely staff (although they speak limited english), overall great stay.
- Yasmina (5/5): Rude staff - Eggs, bread, fruit and coffee for breakfast. Hot water available for coffee at any time. Good location, less than 10 minutes from the river and the night market. AC worked all right. The lady at the receptions is incredibly useless and also rude. She doesn't speak any english, but that's not an excuse not to help the customers. When I arrived they gave me the wrong room and when I asked for a change, the other one was dirty. I asked her to call me a tuktuk for the airport and instead of helping me get a fair price (which they usually do in hotels and guest houses) she asked me for twice the normal price and then told me to just go look for a tuktuk on the street, with luggage and all. Compared to the kindess and hospitality that I've usually found in Laos, this was quite shocking.
- Arne (5/5): Passable -
- Claire (10/5): Amazing location and amazing host! - Everything. The host was very welcoming and always had a huge smile on her face. It was easy to communicate with her despite the language barrier. There is even a great same day laundry service. The location is also ideal as it is in a quiet area but it's just 10 minutes away from the night market. Totally recommend! The pillows were a bit hard, but it's tolerable if you're just there for a few days.
- Moira (6/5): Grubby guesthouse - Excellent position. Very close to restaurants, the markets , the Mekong. Hot shower. Comfortable bed.
Decent breakfast in the morning. Grubby. Staff not very friendly. The bathroom smelt strongly of urine which I could smell at night from the bedroom. Room 102.
I would not choose to stay there again. However, other rooms may not have the same problem.
- Chao (9/5): Superb - Great location,great breakfast,nice host
- Ai (10/5): Absolutely amazing place to stay - The bedding is so comfortable I was able to sleep so well. Windows can be opened and you can feel the good breeze and hear the sound of birds and chickens chirping, it's so peaceful. The hotel staff are so kind and helpful, they even arranged a car for me on the way to the airport. It's located one block away from the night market area, so you can just walk and get some dinner at the market whenever you want. I personally liked the benches in front of the hotel, you can just hang around there and feel the atmosphere of the town. They have a beautiful dog too! (Although it took time for the dog to let me touch her, I was so honored after she finally let me!) This guesthouse made me feel like I'm a part of the town as if I've been living here for long time! Nothing much, everything was more than perfect for me!
- Hayes (8/5): Very good -
- Jon (9/5): Pleasant stay - Staff are really friendly, helpful and make tasty breakfast. The location is perfect and within walking distance to all the attractions in town. It is great value for the price and I would stay here again.
- Miguel (10/5): Great place at reduced price - Friendly staff, quiet and convenient location. Cheap laundry service and nice breakfast food. The quality/price ratio is great.
- Rirk (7/5): Good -
- Holthouse (4/5): Disappointing -
- Jimeno (10/5): good location and comfortable beds - chill atmosphere, very comfy beds/pillows, good breakfast, they have mineral water at the entrance and fill your own bottle for the day and stop buying plastic bottles for a lil while at least.
- Ana (8/5): Very good -
- Louis (8/5): pleasant - clean no problems
