• Susan (8/5): Everything I needed, clean and comfortable and city centre easily accessible by bus. Recommended - Key code for lock box was sent just in time. Room was very comfortable and had all I needed. I was able to park the car on site which was a valuable asset. A god selection of visitors pamphlets of Oxford available in hallway which was very helpful. On good bus roots. I phoned twice and received no reply. Be aware that car parking space is not available for every room, first come, first served. I saw no member of staff at all. Some information on buses, if available, would have been an excellent bonus.

• Teresa (7/5): - The location and facilities were perfect! The lock box was a bit tricky after hours and a staff member drove over to sort it out immediately, which is excellent service at 7pm. The property didnt meet expectations because of marked bed linen and springs poking through mattress. Sorry! The room needed airing, the bed linen was stained/dirty in multiple locations and we used extra pillows to cover exposed mattress springs. Needs a new mattress ASAP!

• Esmaël Jabi (7/5): Value for money for a short stay - Comparably reasonable price, if booked early, cheaper than alternatives. Still, all facilities in Oxford are very expensive. The room was in good condition, everything was functioning well. I stayed only 1 night, so cannot complain. A little bit noisy when neighbours are taking a late night shower. But apart from that, was quiet. Had no problem accessing my keys and entering the facility. Cannot judge the service, as the access was manless. The important thing - if you follow toll free google maps route, this hotel is outside the Oxford congestion charge zone. There was limited parking, only fitting 4 cars. When I arrived, there was 1 slot left. I was lucky. They should control the amount of spaces and inform beforehand. There was no information about WIFI. There should be a visible note somewhere, or provided in the message. It is quite far from city center. There are buses, so connections are good, but buses go badly in Oxford, long wait time, timetables are unreliable. Especially on the weekends. But good thing there are lime bike and vio scooters as alternative.

• Romeo (7/5): Aardig, maar klein, appartement in een prachtige stad. - Locatie was prima. We hadden fietsen gehuurd (fietsenrekken waren aanwezig) en waren snel in het centrum. Het appartement was klein, maar voldeed verder aan onze eisen. We vonden de prijs behoorlijk hoog voor zo’n klein appartement. Kamer werd regelmatig niet schoongemaakt, hoewel we daar wel om gevraagd hadden. Wellicht kunnen ze duidelijker communiceren tot welke tijd er een schoonmaker in het pand is en wanneer het ‘clean my room’ bordje opgehangen moet zijn.

Parcheggio privato utilissimo. Quartiere gradevole e silenzioso. Personale gentile. Stanza gradevole. Bagno piccolissimo nella stanza al piano interraro. Sarebbe stata utile qualche padella aggiuntiva per cucinare. Arredamento da rivedere (per esempio mancavano maniglie agli sportelli della cucina).

Compared to the other bigger studio on the top floor I had stayed in previously, we hear more noise from the studio above. I also had to ask a few times for curtains to be installed because there was too much light in the morning.

• adam (10/5): - Location, very comfortable, all appliances working great. Had a bit of issue with trying to get in but resolved very quickly I stayed at the apartment 12 - a sensor lighting outside would be great as not illuminated enough and steps are bit treacherous during night.

Fan was very noisey and no room to put toiletreys. Very disappointing. Room was way too small. No room to put suitcases. Bed was small and covers not wide enough. Very poor utensils for meals. We were very disappointed in this accommodation and would not recommend to anyone

• Gary (9/5): - The apartment was nice and quiet, minimal noise from surrounding occupants, virtually no noise from the road despite being on the corner. Easy bus ride to the middle of Oxford, local pubs and cafes plentiful.

• Rob (7/5): - The room was a good size , with a decent sized kitchen as well as a bathroom. Our room was on the first floor and was bright and airy. We were able to park on site which was important for us as Oxford parking is difficult. The owner was very quick to respond to our questions. The heating in th room warmed up quickly when we needed it and ample explanations were provided for anything we needed. The location is superb , quiet and also with a bus stop outside , to take you in the centre within minutes.
• Abigail (8/5): Noa residence - a very convenient and pleasant stay! - The studio flat we stayed in is well equipped, clean and convenient. Check in was easy, communication was excellent, there is free parking available and we could even leave our car there for a few more hours after checkout on request. The property is well away from congestion charges and on a bus route into town if you don't fancy the pleasant 30 minutes walk. Nothing much to dislike - it is good value for money for Oxford although the bathroom is quite small and dark.

• Victoria (6/5): Good location and value - Good location and key lock box made it easy to check in at my convenience- but I did have to message and ask for the code an hour before my arrival. Good location. Lots of buses passing every 5-10 minutes from right outside and it’s ~6mins to the centre of Oxford so ideal location. Towels and mini toiletries provided, tea bags and coffee sachets. It looks clean and tidy in general and being an old property it was expected to have some signs of wear. However the blinds throughout were filthy and this surprised me as it something each guest has to use. The bathroom overall looked clean but the toilet flush barely worked (had to resort to a bucket of water and flush multiple times to get it to work), and there was a lot of black mould in the grout of the tiles e.g, where the towels hang and the toilet roll holder and bin were located. There was also evidence of hard water damage to the bathroom sink tap that was grotty so I used the kitchen one instead. I was out for most of the one night stay I booked, so was fine for me, and didn’t report it during my stay- but need addressing for obvious reasons. I reported after checkout via messages to the owners and they assured me they would take this very seriously and address the issues - and I have sent pictures to help correct it. I was in apartment 2.

The complimentary shower gel and shampoo was a nice touch. The studio apartment had everything you needed for a short stay. The adjustable knobs in the shower was a little dirty and the part to hold the shower head was broken meaning we couldn’t adjust the height of the shower head. There was a long spider web hanging over our heads above the bed. One of the slats of the window blinds was missing ( to the right side of the tv) letting a more street light than wanted into the room at night.

• Nadia (7/5): Old apartments needing update but excellent communication - 5 min from the supermarket, near the bus stop, in a residential area of Oxford. Quick and efficient communication with the host. Easy key collection and flexible check-in. Quite an old building, definitely needs some modernisation, especially the bathroom. Our apartment (4) was on the 2nd floor, but was not the best one available (studios are on the 3rd floor), so it did not meet fully our expectations based on what is advertised from the pictures. I would suggest to upload some updated pictures for each apartment to offer clients the possibility to choose accordingly. Also the bed was not the most comfortable one but OK for a 1-night stay.

• Ayo (8/5): The accommodation was well suited for my itinerary as a first time visitor in Oxford. - I loved the proximity to the town center, the staff was kind and nice. The room was exceptionally clean and tidy. Overall, it was a good value for money and I highly recommend the apartment for a nice getaway in Oxford city. The heater wasn’t warm enough.

• Andrew (1/5): Terrible nights sleep, host that is no responsive. Cold building - We contacted the host numerous times about the heating issue. Nothing was done. Freezing cold room which was hard to sleep in. The room stank of bleach so much we had to open the doors to the hallway when we first arrived. The fire alarm for the room was ripped off the ceiling. Not great when the room has cooking facilities. I guess not even having radiators warm... the hosts aren't worried about their guests dying of anything heat related in that room

• Jennifer (8/5): - The location was great, close, easy access to the city centre and canal. Overall the accommodation was good, tidy and clean. The staff were really helpful and responded quickly when we had a question about the parking. There were no tea spoons, the markings on the oven were all worn off so it was impossible to know what the oven settings were or the temperature and the mattress was pretty uncomfortable, we could feel the springs and we're not heavy people.

The property is well appointed, warm, private and quiet, whilst being really accessible to Summertown and the main bus routes to key Oxford locations. The kitchen had all the necessities for cooking great meals, and the layout made the compact apartment feel cosy yet spacious and relaxing. There's no lifts, so be prepared to carry luggage up flights of narrow stairs that beautiful old buildings like this have!

The room was cold, and took some time to warm up with.only one radiator and a drafty kitchenette. The whole place was looking tired, especially the shower room, which has as a sprinkle for a shower. • Katya (1/5): Great location, horrible room. - The location was the only thing we liked about this rental. Shower was a HUGE disappointment. You either get hot or cold, but not warm so we had to skip showers during our stay and wash up in the sink in the kitchen. We had ants in the room. Maid put powder down all over the floor and that seemed to get rid of the ants, but the powder got onto our things. Heard a lot of thumping sounds above our room. Washer/dryer is a joke. It washes ok, but doesn't dry the clothes. Had to hang those up on a rack they provide. TV was very small.
• Annette (9/5): Tolles Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, ich würde wieder hier buchen. - Das gemütliche Studio im Erdgeschoss hatte alles, was ich für eine knappe Woche brauchte. Das Bett war bequem, die Küche mit vielen Geräten sehr gut ausgestattet. Check-In und Out sehr einfach und kontaktlos. Eine Verlängerung um einen Tag ging telefonisch problemlos, der Kontakt zum Gastgeber war unkompliziert, mit schneller und freundlicher Reaktion. Es ist ein älteres Gebäude, was an vielen Stellen zu sehen ist, das macht aber auch den Charme der Unterkunft aus. Obwohl das Studio zur Straße gelegen ist, war es ausreichend ruhig. Für sehr lärmempfindliche Menschen ist ein Raum weiter oben und nach hinten raus wahrscheinlich empfehlenswerter. Die Heizung ist zwar klein, hat aber ordentlich Power und ist völlig ausreichend, auch im Winter. Der Zimmerservice war gut organisiert, das TV mit vielen Sendern hat gut funktioniert. Die Lage gefällt mir, das lebendige Zentrum von Summertown mit Möglichkeiten zum Einkaufen, Essen und Trinken usw ist nur ein paar Minuten zu Fuß. Die Dusche gab schön heißes Wasser, es hätte allerdings etwas mehr Druck haben dürfen.
• Parton (4/5): Not for the winter- too cold. - Good location next to the bus stop. This is pretty basic accommodation. The main problem was that the room was very cold with only one small heater by a window. Even when I asked for another heater (which they kindly supplied) it was also too small to properly heat the room. I had to leave early and check into a different hotel.
