The garden right outside was also super nice to relax and the staff was very friendly. There were several hair in the drawer in my room and also on the wall in the bathroom.. Additionally, I had 2 spiders sitting on the ceiling :( Not negative, but just be aware that there's no elevator, so it might be a bit of a workout to get your luggage into the first floor.

The peaceful courtyard, complete with a fountain and lemon trees, and conveniences like (limited) private parking and kitchen spaces, made my stay even better. The breakfast selections were excellent and, the bedroom was exceptionally clean with a plush bed. The bathroom was generously sized, which was a nice touch. The location was ideal—plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance and a well-maintained neighborhood. Having never experienced this type of accommodation before, I was thoroughly impressed. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again!

We also loved the wine and cheese at night! And the bed was extremely comfortable. There was construction going on which was unfortunate but not a deal breaker. However, our room was in the basement and lacked some privacy as our windows looked out at the inner courtyard. Plus, we could hear our neighbors walking around in the floor above us.

We went out for coffee and breakfast the second day of our stay for better quality.

- Andrew (9/5): The Parker Guest House is charming and a great place to stay on a visit to SF and wewill continue to - The breakfast was put out early each morning and was self-serve and there were many choices of baked goods, cereals, eggs, etc. The staff was very helpful and friendly. There is a beautiful garden to enjoy and even to eat in. While the staff only cleans rooms when asked it might be nice to swap out towels every 3 days or so.

Breakfast was good and the staff was extremely friendly. The place is top knot ch and very comfy. I really appreciated the local touch and the travel books by the fireplace in the main lobby were so useful during my trip. I wish I could have spent more time here. I didn’t like that there weren’t screens on the windows, and I didn’t appear to have control of the temp inside the room. Sound from the hallway doors was noticeable at times. The TV had Roku but I couldn’t figure out how to access local channels or any streaming services.

Lastly regarding location, nightlife is very walkable but not close enough to where you hear bar activity.
