• Hui Shing (6/5): Quite a dated hotel - Like that the room is bigger than usual, could accommodate 3 adults comfortably in a room. Location is near to the Bailian outlets and other malls. The sofa bed provided was in a poor condition, and the hotel staff wanted to charge me additional fees for requesting sofa bed to be prepared, on top of the 3-people rate which I’ve paid online. I would suggest the hotel to improve on the quality of the sofa bed since they do charge quite a bit for it.

• Noufal (7/5): Good - Property is clean but it’s a little far from the downtown. There is no nearby ships and restaurants. There is no shops and restaurants nearby. Also please add some continental breakfast instead of all Chinese cuisines

• xfgavin (2/5): No advantages for globalists, not recommended. - We have two kids and they are under 10, we stayed this hotel last year and the experience was great. Staffs were very helpful and kids liked it very much. So we chose this hotel without thinking too much this year. We were also awarded a guest of honor from friend and applied to our stay. Thought this will enhance our experience. BUT, to our surprise. There was no much advantages for globalist. Also, they require a fee to use sofa bed, which we never heard of from other Hyatt hotels around the world.

• Tom (10/5): We were there for business and the stay was very pleasant and the staff were excellent. - There was a great selection of Asian food and a suffice selection of Western food for breakfast. The staff were very courteous and professional. On several evenings the selection listed on the menu was not available or sold out meaning we had to leave and go to other restaurants close by (ten minute walk).

• Nirav (5/5): Passable - Location and cleanliness We were staying in studio room and the AC was not working, we daily complained but in vain. No one in the front desk understood english. We use to translate and tell in Chinese but still of no use. We spend 5 nights with that suffering. It was horrible. Never expected this from Hyatt.
• Roxanne (8/5): Nice spacious rooms but far from Bund and Hongqiao train station. - We enjoyed the spacious rooms and the breakfast buffet with traditional food offerings. The proximity to the outlet stores was also nice. I think the rooms need deep cleaning - our allergies were really bad during our stay there. The carpet and the curtains needs deep cleaning. Microwave oven in room 1812 was not working too. Also, the front desk girl was very unhelpful and was not a good listener to my questions/request. She was like a robot just answering the same thing over and over. Furthermore, you need to fix the communication between your property and booking.com. Their website said any date adjustments can be done through the property but the property threw it back to booking.com to adjust. This was not easy to do prior to our arrival since we were on a cruise and were at sea for 2 days prior with no internet access and couldn't call the property. After we checked in to the hotel, we called booking.com and was on hold for a long time. It took at least half an hour to complete the date adjustment - a simple thing like that. Next time, how do we trust what we read on your website then?

• Kunal (2/5): Very very bad. - Rooms were good and clean. Whole hotel did not turn ON in room air conditioning. Upon asking they simply said ‘weather is good so no need a/c in shanghai’ That’s most pathetic cost saving attitude. The same is not mentioned in booking confirmation. It is upto client to decide what they want . Upon request for air conditioning they said sorry they can’t help and you can open windows if you are hot. The nearest metro Zhaoxiang station is not operational and you have to go by taxi everywhere. The same is not updated in hotel details.

• Ning (9/5): Superb - Staff is friendly. Room is very spacious and clean. Bed is super comformtable, not the sofa bed though. Breakfast is excellent with abundant choices of chinese and international food. Charge extra 175yuan per night for setting up the sofa bed for a family room that is expected to accomodate 2 adults and 2 children. Swimming pool is crowded for guests with some lesson going on.

• bryanc975 (8/5): Hyatt Hongquiao - Hotel amenities are good. Breakfast was also great. (They switch Manu every other day.) Also the shopping outlet was a walk away. However, if you want to dive into city center of Shanghai, this hotel is little bit far away.
• kenwh2022 (10/5): A warm stay experience beyond my expectation - I list out several main reasons switching from my former service apartment to Hyatt New Hongqiao: 1. breakfast is included which saves me time and energy preparing it every day or sometimes it was just skipped, 2.really friendly services from all departments I met so far, and everything was dealt easy-going way, 3.a bit remote to the city center and public transportation like sub-way, but for a frequent traveller to other cities like myself, the nearby high-way entrance is so convenient.

It is close to the Shanghai Outletmall and not far from the HongQiao airport. I was looking for a property away from the city, so this property was perfect for me.
• SYY2000 (10/5): a hotel room with kitchen facilities - Wasn't expecting a room with kitchen facilities, but oh man, this hotel room has micro wave, dish washer, frige, exhaust ventilation, dinning table, it's like a HOME, I was so impressed and next time, I am gonna bring food to cook here, invite my best friends, bring some wine, we could have a party already!! amasing!!! Now I am thinking how to circulate this information to let all my friends and relative know about this hotel.
• batilcl (10/5): Very convenient to the Factory Outlet store - Walking distance to Factory outlet maybe 800m, good for daytime activities. Surrounding is empty at night. Make sure u have ur food delivery App ready if you need some midnight snack. Although it is facing the main road, it is not noisy at all.
• Seunghyun (8/5): 크고 깨끗하지만 위치는 별로 - 방이 크고 조리시설이 있어 가족이 머물기 좋음. 세탁실도 있음. 호텔 옆에 쇼핑몰이 건축중이라 식사할곳이 많지는 않음. 조금만 더 걸어나가면 아울렛이 있어 필요한 사람에겐 좋음. 홍차오에서도 더 외곽이라 시내 나가기엔 불편함

• nikunjr (2/5): Awful!!! - Well i stayed at this property and I must write this review. The place is managed by Hyatt Group but believe me you will not find anything good about this place. They have serious lack of manpower. Only a few housekeeping staff. Reception area is too busy to even answer calls at midnight. I had to go down and ask them for water in the middle of the night as they had only one person at the front desk managing the entire property. They barely understand English which is again a big barrier. I stayed here for 3 nights and the housekeeping just made our bed and nothing else. They would not remove the empty bottles or clean the used glasses. Even the carpet had not been vacuumed. A set of used glasses were kept in the same position from last 2 nights and housekeeping was not bothered. The ice bucket had water which was also not cleaned. We had to change our room as the air conditioning was not working. The room had glim lights and barely had basic amenities. Even tooth brush were provided on request. The breakfast was just okay with many Chinese variety. All in all an awful experience. Will not stay again in this property.

The only downsides I would give would be the location is quite far out, not all members of front of house staff can speak English and one coffee machine for the busy mornings is a bit of a push!
• Relentless_explorer (10/5): New and clean - Location: Hongqiao train station / airport - 25-45 minutes depending on the traffic. 12km. 55 rmb (US$ 9) The hotel is located away from major attractions. There is a decent size area of outlet stores not too far (20 mins of walking or so) as well as some shopping center (10-15 mins walking). Room: Designed as a studio with a kitchen. Cooking/eating accessories are provided. The room and appliances look and feel new/fresh, not beaten down. Comfy bed, clean sheets etc Pretty pleasant in general Eating options: Breakfast included. Other meals - there is a small Western/Chinese menu available from 7am to 11pm Other good points: Self service laundry is available on the 16th floor The service was pretty good, in general. Very helpful staff with getting taxing, addressing concerns etc *** Disliked: - The processes at the reception were taking longer than usual: checking out, paperwork processing etc - Open WiFi, no Secure WiFi or LAN options
