- ianrY3602XE (10/5): It was so nice we had to do it….THREE TIMES! - If you are booked to stay at The Blue Ivy for your spring/summer holiday you are one lucky duck! This hotel continues to set the standard in every way. There is literally nothing to complain about or take issue with, and I’ve been known to like a moan from time to time… Heated adults only pool is very relaxing, high quality sunbeds in large amount. Aircon in the rooms works like a dream and the latest sound proofing means the rooms should be quieter than what you are used to. The staff led by Mr Nikos are in a league of their own. Breakfast fantastic everyday, evening meal just as good. Protaras is a great resort offering something for all, the beaches are top quality. Thanks again Blue Ivy, until we meet again! - Lottiesmamma (10/5): Wow Wow Wow! - Have literally just returned and wanted to write the hotel a review promptly. We had an amazing time, hotel at low capacity due to “the war” and beginning of the season. This didn’t affect our stay and the resort was very much business as normal. The staff are amazing, very attentive and so lovely. When the general manager asked if was enjoying my stay, I joked that I was disappointed there wasn’t any Pimms and within 10 minutes a bottle had been bought from the supermarket and presented to me! Food is delicious, one of the best hotels we have stayed in for an all inclusive option. You could not fault the variety and the a La carte menu served at lunch time has everything from sandwiches and wraps to steak! Drinks served are premium brands with a menu of cocktails. If you couldn’t see your favourite on the menu the barman would make your favourite by request! The hotel is so clean - hats off to the housekeeping team. Our son loved the bedtime cookies. Nicos Kashiouris you must be very proud of your team! We hope to return again and thoroughly recommend the hotel.

- WickfordSingh (10/5): Brilliant!!! - Couldn't fault this place, as everyone as already mentioned, the staff, cleanliness, food, hotel, pool , surrounding areas are immaculate. Located at the end of Protaras strip near McDonald's it is a perfect base for your holiday. We stayed B&B as we wanted to sample restaurants on the strip but had a free meal, courtesy of the great manager, which was nice. Would defo come back to this hotel again. Big mentions to Khan, Sherry and Simran who looked after us, ALL staff were a credit to this hotel.

- Lisagelly (10/5): Great stay - The hotel was stunning with excellent staff that made nothing too much trouble . It was great to meet and see the manager of the hotel introducing all his staff at the welcome meeting. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis which was very satisfying and with lots of options available.The hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable and had plenty of storage and wardrobe space. We were in a great position for beaches bars restaurants and trips from the harbour .

- skipgem (10/5): 4 stars is not enough! - We returned from the Blue Ivy at the end of October half term. We were blown away with everything we experienced at the hotel. Their care and passion for customer service is second to none and we were treated like royalty whilst we stayed. Nickos the manager is a very generous man and genuinely cares that his guests are having a wonderful time! The hotel itself is beautifully decorated modern and extremely clean. For holidaying abroad for 25 years this is the first hotel that I haven’t had to ‘clean’. it was truly spotless and the cleaning staff are a credit to the hotel and even gave personal touches of an evening! All of the staff were amazing and a special shoutout to Fillios who greeted us at breakfast every morning and provided each day with cheer and tips for local tourism and services! A really lovely man! All of the staff all work so hard and are so very pleasant. The alcohol! Wow! Amazingly cocktails and all top shelf stuff. The location is perfect, absolutely spot on for venturing around east Cyprus with excellent public buses and taxis! We cannot wait to go back and stay. We’ve never stayed at the same place but having experienced the hospitality of the Blue Ivy, we are ready to return for next year!

- Simon18 (10/5): Worts & All - Worts & all....... Room amazing, clean, modern with plenty of room for family of four with teenage kids and four suitcases Food - Off the scale buffet! Seriously the best buffet we have eaten from. One little bit of feedback, food could have been slightly warmer but I am being pedantic here because of the quality of the rest of the hotel. Pool Area - Because of the time of the year we had to swap from the adults pool to the family pool AM/PM due to where the sun was. We never struggled for 4 x sun beds together (getting to the pool around 09:30) Staff - Genuinely they were a credit, the pool bar staff (Peter) and restaurant staff (Amir) were on point everyday! Bar - We were AI and had the choice of most high end spirits, Baileys, Hendricks, JD and Koppaberg Cider and a wide choice of beers including Corona/Peroni. Soft drinks and mixers were all branded can Schweppes/Fever Tree/Coca Cola/Perrier etc etc Cocktails - full list on AI - Would have liked a nicer Mojito if I am honest but stayed on the G&Ts, not a huge problem. General Area - 3 minutes to the strip / 3 minutes to the beach Beach - You hire sunbeds and loungers through the municipal beaches for 2.5 euro per day So other than a couple of not so good mojitos and a couple of food dishes being slightly cool (The worts) I would say this is one of the best value hotels we have ever stayed in. Well done Nico, well done team. Thankyou
- nigelh175 (8/5): Wonderful ,but - The usual gripe - the dreaded sunbed! You have no chance of getting a sunbed without getting up at silly o'clock and they are virtually on top of each other. BUT aside from that it's a great hotel with great staff from booking in with David to the entire staff. We were only here bed and breakfast and the breakfast was excellent with plenty of choices and something for everyone. Our kettle broke and within 10 minutes there was a NEW one,they can't do enough for you and all the staff were friendly and helpful despite being busy. It's about 75 yards from the strip and 200 yards from the ⛱ beach. It's is emaculetly clean inside and out. One nice touch was Nicos the hotel manager giving a welcoming party and introducing a few of his staff and his pride shone like a beacon. All in all a great hotel , apart from the sunbeds situation but that's just our opinion and it wouldn't put me off coming again,we just go down to the beach.
- Roving35127748424 (10/5): Fabulous first visit, won’t be our last - Came here for October half term for a bit of winter sunshine and some time to relax and unwind, we weren’t disappointed. We stayed in room 009 and we were bed and breakfast as we like to eat at different restaurants whilst we are away. The location for this is perfect. We spent our days at the beach, Fig Tree bay being our preferred which was 1.5km away, and eating and drinking at different restaurants on the strip in the evenings. The hotel is spotless and the staff are attentive and polite. This hotel has a lot of repeat customers and we can see why. Perfect location, great accommodation and friendly staff. We asked if we could have a late checkout as we were on an evening flight, for €60 euros we were lucky enough to keep our room until 6 pm on the day of our departure. With this we were given a voucher so we eat in the restaurant at lunchtime and the food was fabulous. I am confident we will be back.
- Birdie2boy (8/5): Didn’t Experience What Others Have - Our first visit to The Blue Ivy, arriving late at night we entered our room and found it small with the bathroom smaller that the average en suite at home. The best thing about the hotel is the staff who work hard and are all very friendly. Food in the restaurant good breakfast mixed often food was cold, lunch A la carte confusing with evening meal very good. The hotel is very modern and clean but space around the small pool was limited not helped by the usual suspects up early and placing towels on beds then arriving hours later. We had issues in our room, a torn sheet, bathroom not cleaned and on three occasions no clean towels left. Add to that blood on the bottom edge of the bed that was only finally removed when I complained to the excellent manager Nikos. Dress for evening meal, Smart Casual? Many variations including beach shorts, flip flops, cut off shorts revealing too much part of the female body, not what we wanted to see. That grandma obviously thought she looked beautiful? The bar in the evening served excellent drinks all branded. The atmosphere was sometimes spoilt by the language of some people who couldn’t hold a conversation without swearing. Not appropriate to discuss in your group what you got up to the previous night with your wife? Overall some good points about the hotel but the negatives spoilt our experience. The hotel has many repeat guests, that’s fine but we would not return.

- ladyofcampfires (10/5): An excellent stay - My husband and I stayed recently stayed for a week at the Blue Ivy for our honeymoon. Given the occasion, we wanted somewhere nice to stay and upon checking the reviews on TripAdvisor, we chose this hotel. The hotel is immaculately clean and it's easy to see why as we saw cleaners multiple times a day, all day, everyday during our stay. The public areas smell amazing, it was the first thing we noticed when we walked in the building to check-in and every time we entered the hotel after venturing out. Likewise, our room was spotlessly clean and everyday the cleaners came in to give it a spruce up, replenish tea and coffee, toilet roll, replace towels etc. Each night we would return from dinner to a little "goodnight" card and a couple of biscuits which was another nice touch. When checking-in everything was explained to us as the well as the importance of letting staff know if there were any issues so that they could be rectified there and then. We were asked to "leave our britishness at the door" and raise an issue if we had one. Well, on our first night we discovered our TV didn't work. It was quite late at this point so we did without and raised this at reception before going out for the day the next morning. When we returned, our TV was on in our room working as expected. Excellent service! Unfortunately, we quickly discovered the TV in our room was a bit dodgy and it was pot luck whether or not it would work. We didn't end up raising this again as we only ever put the TV on quite late and by the next morning it had either started working again or we were looking forward to the day ahead and not thinking about the TV but I have no doubts something would've been done about it if we had raised the issue again. The room itself was on the smaller side, particularly the bathroom, however was plenty big enough for two, was clean and comfortable for our stay. The bed was huge and very comfortable and there was plenty of storage space so we could unpack properly. The shower had excellent water pressure and got really quite hot! Décor throughout the room and the hotel was neutral and modern. Our balcony was spacious however the plastic chairs were quite uncomfortable and we didn't enjoy the balcony as much as we otherwise would have done. We had booked an inland view room however I believe we were upgraded to a side sea view room. We weren't informed we'd been upgraded but we definitely had a clear sea view which was a nice and welcome surprise. One of the main draws for us to this hotel was the rave reviews about the food, we had high expectations and we were not disappointed. Each evening the restaurant offers a different theme for their dinner buffet, always a selection of hot dishes, a salad bar (which would also change to follow the theme of the buffet) and deserts. The selection was always really varied and we found ourselves looking forward to dinner each evening to see what was available. Breakfast was the same each day but equally as varied with a selection of hot breakfast items, sweet and savoury, cereal, yoghurt, fruit, meats and cheeses etc. Despite the offerings being the same each day there was so much choice you could easily have a different breakfast everyday if you wanted. The downside was the coffee served by the waiters at breakfast wasn't particularly good. We unfortunately didn't get to sample much from the a la carte lunch menu due to doing things during the day however the things we did try were equally as nice, the pizzas inparticular were very enjoyable. The portions at lunch were quite large and could easily be shared too. The bar area in the evening can get quite busy. The hotel, perhaps understandably, as a rule that all-inclusive guests can only order one drink at a time and for themselves. This meant my husband and I would frequently lose our table during the evenings to other guests when we got up to get drinks. We ended up taking it in turns to go to the bar to prevent this happening but it was a little bit annoying to have to do this whilst seeing the obvious repeat guests ordering multiple drinks at a time. This rule only seemed to be imposed on Blue Ivy newbies. Similarly, we gave up our sunbed early one afternoon to return to our room and get changed for lunch given we were told the restaurant has a smart/casual dress code and swimwear couldn't be worn. We then ended up sitting amongst multiple guests wearing swimwear for lunch who had come directly from their sun loungers. The hotel has two pools, one adults only and the other a family pool, with plenty of sun loungers around both. There was the usual 8am sun bed rush however as we visited during the end of the season, we never had an issue getting a sun bed. You could come down at 10am and still get one, it just might not be in a prime location. I imagine this wouldn't be the case during the busier summer months, however. The adult only pool was mostly in the shade by early afternoon at which point it was empty. By mid-late afternoon there was only ever a handful of people, if any at all, sat around the pool. The pool bar offered a great selection of drinks with friendly service and there are toilets conveniently situated by the pool area too so we were happy and content on the few pool days we had during our stay. Cocktails at the pool bar were delicious however we found ourselves quickly giving up on the ones served at the main bar in the hotel. Everything came in a large gin class and they were really strong! If you wanted a quick/cheap way to get drunk then these were good cocktails but they left something to be desired if you wanted something you could actually enjoy. Between the two of us we tried about 6 cocktails on the menu before giving up with them and I think we actually managed to finish one. The long island ice tea particularly was just undrinkable (and this is from someone who has had and enjoyed many long island iced teas). I think what really makes this hotel is the staff (and the delicious food). There appeared to be a high staff to guest ratio so there was always someone on hand if needed and every member of staff we encountered was friendly and seemed to enjoy their job. Even if just passing someone in a corridor, staff would greet you and the restaurant staff inparticular were very attentive, even going as far as remembering where we like to sit for dinner and what drinks we order towards the back end of our stay. The hotel has many return guests and these guests almost interact with the staff as though they are their friends. It wasn't uncommon to see return guests greeting staff members with hugs and all knowing each other by name. And this wasn't just the odd couple, there seemed to be more returning guests during our stay than first timers. It did leave us feeling slightly like outsiders during our stay though. Almost as though everyone already knew everyone and we were just the new kids in class. Location wise I think you'll struggle to get better. Whilst not directly on the seafront like many other nearby hotels, it is a short stroll to the beach and the pier and just a few minutes walk to the strip for bars, restaurants, shops, bus stops and excursion pick-up points. We were nearby all the action but set far enough back from it that the hotel was still peaceful. All in all though, our stay was very enjoyable and compared to other hotels we have stayed at, this was by far the best for its price range and definitely offers the best hotel buffet food I've ever had. I'd ideally like to give Blue Ivy 4.5 out 5 however the positives do outweigh the few negatives so I'm happy to give this hotel 5/5!
- Paintedlady72 (10/5): A fabulous hotel. - We have just returned from our first visit to the fabulous Blue Ivy. A warm, friendly, welcome awaits at reception. The first impression for us was 'Wow, what a lovely hotel'. We booked a standard room, which was plenty big enough for the both of us. Spotlessly clean, with air con & a safe at no extra cost. They also provide free beech towels, which you collect from housekeeping on a daily basis. The only slight negative about the room was the view (a bit of wasteland, a skip & a road - although we could see the family pool area). This is not the hotels fault but if a view is important to you, be sure to upgrade the room when you book. The staff are all so lovely, nothing is too much trouble. The cleaning/housekeeping staff are 'on it" all of the time (without being intrusive). Nico, the General Manager - what a lovely man. Hospitality runs through his veins - it is so important to him that his guests are happy. He seems to genuinely appreciate his staff & celebrates them on the Thursday night 'meet & greet'. We booked bed & breakfast because we like to go out in the evening trying different restaurants. There is the option to upgrade your board basis when you arrive to half board/all inclusive, if you fancy doing that. Nico, very kindly, gave us 2 evening meal & drinks vouchers. The restaurant (buffet style) has a different themed evening each night (Indian, Traditional, Chefs Special, Asian, Italian, etc). We tried the Chefs Special & Asian nights. The food was incredible - so much choice. The only slight negative was that the hot food didn't stay hot for long - that said, the food was delicious. The Asian evening was my personal favourite - lots of choice & amazing sushi. The breakfast buffet - wow, what a choice. The first morning when we arrived for breakfast, we were quite overwhelmed as to where to start. Cereal, fruit, yogurt, cheeses, meats, pastries, lots of different breads, preseves, cooked food (bacon, sausage, eggs, etc), crepes, omelettes, eggs, cooked freshly - too many things to list but, you get the idea. The lunches are ordered from a menu, rather than a buffet style. Food was excellent. The pool bar was great - lots of choice & a most excellent pina colada & strawberry daiquiri. We tried a milkshake each (chocolate & vanilla) & to us, there wasn't much flavour - like when ice cream gets over iced & loses it's flavour. That's just our opinion, other people seemed to like them. There are 2 pools at this hotel - an adult only one which gets the sun in the morning until lunchtime/early afternoon, depending on where you sit, then most people move round to the family pool, where it gets the sun in the afternoon, until the end of the day. The only negative is that most of the sun loungers are quite crammed in, so it's difficult to move them & you're potentially laying in very close proximity to other people. There isn't very much the hotel can do about it because if they remove sun loungers to make more room, there wouldn't be enough to accommodate all of the guests. The beech is a 5 minute walk from the hotel, as is the array of kiosks for boat trips. On the walk to or from the beech, Aromas coffee shop & ice creams are a must - great coffee & the most fabulous array of different ice creams. There is a fabulous spa at the hotel - the ladies are so lovely & do excellent massages. We visited twice during our stay - if you like massages, then I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you visit but book at the beginning of your holiday as they get very busy. I've already mentioned how lovely the staff are but so are the guests - everyone was so friendly & most of the people we spoke to were repeat guests - there were some first timers (like us) but most (including us) have booked for next year. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the main strip of bars & restaurants (if you have your balcony door open you can hear it but once it's closed you can't hear anything so it certainly shouldn't disturb you). Lots of live music (a mix of proper bands & tribute acts). Lots of great restaurants too. We had a fabulous holiday & look forward to returning again.

We hosted a “white party” on the hotel grounds, and everything went off perfectly. The staff went above and beyond to make it a night to remember. Huge shoutout to Simi, Khan, and Nicholas at the bar — absolute legends! Their friendliness, energy, and top-tier cocktail skills made every evening unforgettable (and slightly harder to wake up the next morning). And massive thanks to Vlad at reception, who somehow managed to stay cheerful, helpful, and professional through all our chaos — man deserves a raise and possibly a medal. The hotel itself is stunning — modern, spotless, and beautifully designed. The rooms are spacious, super comfortable, and genuinely feel like a home away from home. The swimming pools are gorgeous, crystal clear, and perfect for cooling off in the Cyprus sun — preferably with one of the Blue Ivy signature cocktail in hand. Every member of staff deserves credit for their warmth and attention to detail. Blue Ivy truly sets the bar for hospitality. The staff are amazing and very friendly. Nothing is too much for them to do to ensure you have the best time possible on your holiday. The choice at buffet breakfast is phenomeninal and I need to give a special shout out to Nur who cooked my omelettes and fried eggs to perfection each time. All the waiters were lovely and greeted you like family whenever you went into the Utopia restaurant for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I particularly loved the different themed dinners from Greak and Cypriot to Indian, Italian and Asian cuisine. Plenty of choice for everyones tastes. Although we booked Bed and breakfast for our holiday we made a special effort to try different theme nights to our stay last year and thoroughly enjoyed all the meals we have had in the hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and special thanks go to the ladies who made up our roms each day. Eleni the housekeeper is a diamond and so lovely. Nicos the general manager is an auspicious host who definitly puts hospitality at the top of his agenda ensuring all his guests are having the best holiday ever and we cant wait to come back next year. This hotel is listed as 4 star but definitely deserves 5 stars for hospitality, comfort, location, friendliness and food. See you next year Blue Ivy.

A wide selection of well prepared food from start to finish.The family room 208 was suitably furnished and cleaned daily.The hotel was busy with customers who were made welcomed by the staff. Due to the Sun's(27 ish°) location,there was strategic shifting of sunbeds to maximise exposure. The spa Massage with offers was appreciated..A good location for visiting shops, beaches, promenade,with taxi easily avaliable. Thanks to Nicos and his team including Emiliya and Maria from the spa.

- Ian111England (10/5): As good as everybody says. - We were expecting good things having read the reviews and were not disappointed. The staff are friendly, the hotel exceptionally clean, we even saw cleaners shining leaves on pot plants. The food was good and plentiful. The lunch alacarte was the highlight of the day. We went all inclusive for the first time ever and I would say it was good value for money. Low key entertainment was put on several times a week around the pool or in the evening around the bar. The atmosphere is totally relaxing. As we went in October there were plenty of sun beds and shades though you did not necessarily need the sun shade as the sun is less powerful than in summer. If it was high summer you may struggle for a bed depending on occupancy and it may be hot around the pool as there is some but not overly much greenery and the sun shades are not moveable. You are about 300m from the beach that is exceptionally clean and the water is clear so that is an extra option. As the beds are council run they only cost €7.5 for 2 beds and a parasol. The one thing we did not consider is that Cyprus does not use euro power plugs but UK 3 pin so we struggled with adaptors. All in all we will be going back.

We came in April this hotel and its staff are amazing they cannot do enough for you. They treat you like royalty from the minute you arrive a special mention to David when we rebooked he went above and beyond to help us. Last but not least I must mention the General Manager Nicos this guy is amazing, Nicos is the reason the Blue Ivy is the No1 hotel in Protaras.

- leecC907LI (10/5): Fab fab fab !! - Fab hotel right in the middle of everything - rooms great especially with a side sea view which we had booked - the front pool was adult only which was great - we only went bed & breakfast as we like to eat out but the food was fantastic & drinks bought to your table be it tea/coffee/latte etc - Spoilt with slushies & cold towels around the pool & a bit of entertainment every couple of days - the best thing about the hotel though - THE STAFF - we have never had staff as fantastic & friendly anywhere we have stayed - everyone of them is a credit to the hotel - we would stay again in a heartbeat - the only downfall is holiday prices just keep going up & up in cyprus so fingers crossed we can be walking through the doors again to enjoy the blue ivy in 2026 ….

Restaurant Manager Marinos is outstanding and happy and will always go the extra mile to help , as do his staff , (one day I was unwell and he couldn’t do enough , even asking me if I wanted to stay in my room he would send up food for me ) Karolina and Peter at the pool bar are amazing and do an Excellent job and there was never any queues . Good selections of cocktails and made really well , Peter even comes around the pool with little slushes which was a lovely gesture Rooms are nice but on the small side , hair drying being in the drawer was a problem , as when using it . Family members can’t walk round the room. Location great - as right on the strip Negatives As per previous comment . Sunbeds are the main problem becoz the adult pool area suffers with shade in the afternoon and therefore most people go to the children pool where the sun stays later. The pool was closed with a tape around it until 8am when people were rushing to reserve sunbeds and some not coming down for hours later ( it was like the Boxing Day sales everyday .) Overall would we return ?, probably no , becoz the sunbed locations and the fact that the hotel is based on a noisy road. Where cars and trikes were racing and doing wheel spins on the unused land next to the hotel, causing dust to fly everywhere and noise

Ironic thing is my mum who didn't request an upgrade, had one!). Shout out to Peter & Karolina at the pool bar, cocktails SOOO much better here than the reception bar, happy and always smiling a credit to the hotel both of you 5*****. Hotel on the whole cleanliness was fantastic and very good house keeping. Had an issue with Hayley on reception without going into detail I feel it would be a good thing to rotate staff around the hotel. Location you cannot fault and the weather amazing. Restaurant staff cannot fault also accommodating and always smiling again a credit to the hotel. Would we return YES, would we rush back NO!

From the minute we arrived we felt so welcomed and looked after. It was my birthday when we arrived and the hotel put balloons, cake and flowers in the room for me- wow. The food, room and cleanliness of this hotel is what makes it so amazing. The management - Nicos and the others are truly fantastic, one day the pool bar ran out of my boyfriends cider he drinks, we mentioned this to nicos and the next morning the fridge was filled with them- we was so shocked and grateful, have never experienced such amazing customer service. In regards to the sunbeds- yes they do get reserved but in our time at the hotel there was always plenty available. We stayed all inclusive and so glad we did, so much choice, different themes and something for everyone, the daytime snack menu is to die for also. The hotel was spotless, and a big thank you to the cleaning staff who were out early every morning making sure everything was clean and tidy for the day ahead. They did an amazing job throughout our stay. The reception team were also fantastic — always welcoming and helpful. Management were friendly, approachable, and always on hand to make sure everything was running smoothly. Although we were staying on a bed & breakfast basis, we ate in the hotel a few times and the food was consistently great. A special mention to the lifeguard, who was always helpful — clearing sunbeds, keeping the area tidy, and even lending a hand behind the bar when needed. - Global60744532590 (8/5): Lovely hotel - Positives Hotel is kept immaculately clean throughout. Staff in the main are all friendly. Breakfast was good with excellent service from staff keeping our cups full with coffee. Omelettes cooked to order were delicious. Nicos the manager was often seen walking around and speaking to people and seems such a friendly man who is very proud of his hotel. Cocktail hour is well worth the 2 for 1 as they were the best we tasted in resort. The location is ideal as not far from strip one direction and the beach to the other. Could be better We are not obsessed about having a sunbed around the pool however this was not possible one day. The pool area opens at 8am however there is an issue with shade in some areas so by 8.30 any of the prime beds were taken. We noticed a family of 8 from Wales booking these beds every day and would not come to use until nearly 10.30am. I think the hotel does need to address this issue as it is unfair to others. I notice this hotel gets a high number of repeat visitors. Although it is a lovely hotel I felt too much praise is given to repeat visitors. We attended a cocktail hour to celebrate the hotel winning an award. A kind lady waved and directed to find us seats however we weren’t offered the free Prosecco or any drink. So much of Nicos speech was praising their repeat customers and canapés were brought around and offered to some at our table but not us. We left early and did not partake in staying for drinks at the hotel after that. We heard of others getting a free voucher for an evening meal and discount from their drinks. I asked about this and was told discount was for repeat customers. We don’t tend to re visit the same place again even though we do love Cyprus however we don’t feel tempted to come back unfortunately.
- Jreynol2 (10/5): Downtime - What can I say other than thank you to trip advisor reviews, I was looking for our first trip to cyprus to be carefree, quality with a small hotel, good food, good location as I have some mobility issues, one review sold me ,it said," dont think about it, book the Blue Ivy" and wow where they right. This hotel serves good as a base, if you are taking children who are very welcomed at Blu Ivy but they want pool games, water slides , kids club etc this is not the hotel for you, CONGRADULATIONS to Nico and the team for yet another two awards confirmed during our stay and the delightful presentation/celebration put on for the guests. Everyone was so attentive, even the head chef came out to the restaurant to talk guests through dishes on offer, i felt looked after and enjoyed the homely feel of the smaller hotel. Down the road, boat trips and beach, walk up the boardwalk a bit past the lifegaurds station to have rockless entry into beautiful crystal waters, up the hill to great shops restaurants, we loved the Ed Sheeran tribute at the Ghetto bar, amazing french martinis there and Freddie Mercury at Shpynx bar was hilarious, even played mini golf one evening. The Blue Ivy hotel Suites was a fabulous experiance and will hold great memories in my heart . Thank you to all xx

- 550maryjanem (10/5): Best Cyprus holiday we’ve ever seen had - The Blue Ivy hotel is simply the best hotel in Protaras. The staff are brilliant! Nothing is too much bother. Our room was upgraded on arrival to a Junior Suite. It was beautiful with a really large comfortable bed with lovely bedding. Changed every second day. Soft thick towels changed if you left in the walk in shower . Everything is so clean and well kept. Lor coffee machine, kettle , large carafe of drinking water. Fridge is small but adequate. Room was immaculate and so comfortable . We were bed and breakfast and the breakfast was amazing with so many choices and eggs omelettes etc made on request. So many choices it cannot fail to impress. Staff are amazing, as soon as my coffee was empty they came over to fill your cup. Nicos the GM talked to everyone, so genial and one morning he told us to go to dinner and drinks on the hotel ,he is so lovely. The restaurant is amazing, easily the best meal we had all holiday. Happy hour is between 6&7 every night and the drinks , cocktails are top class, all premium brands and large, really large measures. Everyone goes to the ground floor terrace for drinks so you easily mingle with the other guests. We were giver free shots and everyone had a great time. The pool area was kept immaculately with comfortable highly cushioned sunbeds and 4 poster sunbeds . Pool /beach towels can be picked up for free at housekeeping office every day and towels can’t be put out until 8am at the pools so no early birds saving the best and leaving them empty all day. Front pool is adults only. Back pool is family pool. Pool bar is great with a special mention to Peter. The gorgeous beach is 2 mins to the left on leaving hotel and the best strip in Cyprus is 2 mins to your right. We will definitely be returning as this was one of the best holidays we have ever had ! Love to Nicos , Peter, Karolina, Khan, Simi,the staff make you feel like family, and all others too many to mention who absolutely made our holiday the best!!!! Entertainment at lunch time was great especially the violin guys The weather was amazing 35 degrees every day in September and beginning of October. You will never regret going to the Blue Ivy.

The room was spotless, extremely comfortable bed, spacious balcony - we had a side view but could still see the sea location is perfect minutes from the beach and the main strip we booked bed and breakfast but had lunch & dinner in the hotel on a couple of occasions - Greek & Cypriot night not to be missed Have to say all the food was outstanding. one of our party is coeliac and the staff couldn't do enough to accommodate; the chef personally discussing what options were available Staff at the poolside bar were so friendly and prices really reasonable - the pina colada's were the best & loved the saxophonist that played on certain days Nightly happy hour between 6pm & 7pm - fantastic chilled vibe at the terrace bar Niccos the hotel manager was wonderful - meeting and greeting all residents, also very clear that he looks after his staff, every single one greeted you with a smile We will definitely return & can't recommend this hotel enough

Everywhere is spotlessly clean, which is a big plus for me personally. The only thing that spoils it is the inconsiderate and rude behaviour of some of the guests which makes you feel embarrassed/ashamed to be British. I will say no more!!
- dag758 (10/5): Fantastic once again! - Just returned from our 3rd stay at this wonderful hotel. Each year it just seems to get better. I did request a certain room before arrival, I received a call from David before arrival who explained that although this room was booked they had allocated us a like for like room. They don’t have to do this as we book a package, this is just one example of how the team go the extra mile to accommodate their guests requests. Having this room with the day bed made our stay extra special, we had a note thanking us for returning, a Birthday cake and wine which again was so appreciated. The staff are so friendly and helpful, the food is amazing and the drinks especially made by Nicoli are the best. The management team including Nicos are always present and ready to help and have a joke with you. An observation we made this year was the restaurant team who have always been great seemed to be even more welcoming, smart and professional, led by a man who greets you at every meal, unfortunately I didn’t get his name but he was very professional and this shows the team are always driving for excellence. The rooms are spotless, the atmosphere was great and we met some fantastic and friendly people. Many of us are returning guests and you can see why. The position of the hotel is very convenient, close to the beach and bars and restaurants. We stayed all inclusive for 10 nights which we wouldn’t normally do in Protaras, however the food and drink at the Blue Ivy is just so good, if you can I would definitely recommend it. Nicos, Triffanos (sorry for the spelling) and Andreas really make guests feel like part of a big family and this is what makes this hotel so special and sets it apart from all of the others. We cannot wait to return and see everyone again. Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

From bar staff to waiters and waitresses..and housekeeping. Rooms were cleaned every day. Entertainment at lunch time was great. Saxophonist.. violinist etc..Food was perfect.Lots of choice. No rush for a sunbed..which was great.. Requested late checkout on arrival, but unfortunately we did not get it.. but we were given food and drinks vouchers to use at the hotel, as we had a later flight. Would highly recommend this hotel. 10/10. Staff made this holiday special.
- 318stephend (10/5): The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites. - From start to finish. A excellent stay. This was our first time staying at The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites. We initially booked via Easyjet on a B&B board, but once we experienced the food and services, we made the decision to book directly with the hotel to upgrade our first week to all inclusive. Our holiday was for 14 nights. And we are glad we did book the first 7 nights as all inclusive and then the last 7 nights experiencing local restaurants and pubs. Nicos, the Hotel Manager upgraded us to a partially sea view/ front facing room....."Many thanks!". This was greatly appreciated 👏. Our thanks go to; Nicos (Hotel Main Manager) David (Reception Desk) Khan & Simi (Main bar) Peter & Karolina (Pool Bar) To be totally honest, ALL of the Blue Ivy Hotel staff are excellent. Always there to help and assist. Down sides; There is a water theme attraction at the rear of The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites. This show is 7 days a week. The venue must use diesel generators to assist with the water display. Whilst the show is in progress, you can actually see the diesel fumes emanating from the main vents. The air is thick with pollution. If the wind is blowing towards the outside bar seating area then you end up breathing all the pollution in. Everything was so fresh and tasty , the lunch was ordered from menu so not buffet but this cut down on waste , good selection at lunchtimes ,steaks ,chicken , pizza or burgers etc . Amazing drinks selection ,no dashes for mixers , was bottles of tins . Rooms lovely and hotel has a great outside sitting area with plenty tables ,a stone throw away from other bars and entertainment, just wow wow wow .I will definitely return . Nicos was top notch and always on top of his job , all dining room staff and bar staff ,cleaners ever so attentive too .

Great variety of breakfast options from pancakes to fresh cooked omelettes. Fantastic location. The only slight niggle is some guests rushing for sun beds when there is no need as loads of beds available. Already booked for next year.

The hotel offers an amazing food selection so if you decided to go B&B or all inclusive you will be happy with the choices on offer ( excellent chefs ) The atmosphere of the hotel is friendly with the staff offering a first class service catering for every need you have. The rooms are spacious kept immediately clean and have everything you would expect from a high class establishment. We booked quite a while in advance and had amazing value for money. I would throughly recommend this hotel to everyone who is looking for a fun holiday in a hotel where the Manager both respects and honours his staff for all their hard work

Outstanding service & staff who make your stay unforgettable - I really feel the need to write a review about the magnificent stay we had at the Blue Ivy Hotel in Protaras. Due to a technical issue, we arrived to find that we had no booking. The staff on reception (David and team) were absolutely fantastic in the way they handled this. They resolved the dilemma promptly and efficiently, finding us accommodation in a fully booked hotel. Although we moved a few times, we had the chance to stay in every type of room, and I can assure you that each one is of a high standard—the main differences being the space and the addition of coffee machines. I cannot express enough how clean and fresh the hotel is overall, with the most beautiful scents throughout from the vaporisers, which I completely fell in love with. Nikkos, the general manager, is a true gentleman and one of the kindest people we have met. He made us feel truly valued, taking the time to greet his guests personally and ensuring that everyone under his roof was happy. This attitude clearly carries through to his staff, creating the friendliest atmosphere where nothing is ever too much trouble. I haven’t stayed in a hotel with this level of service for a long time, and it is one of the main reasons we want to return. Nikkos also provided us with an upgrade to experience the restaurant, and wow—the food was delicious! The choice and quality were outstanding. While we did eat out at times, the food in the hotel was honestly just as good, if not better—especially on Italian night. This really surprised us, as many hotels fall short with food, but at the Blue Ivy you are truly spoiled. The waiters also provided excellent customer service. The pool area is fantastic, and on a couple of occasions during the week, there was lovely light entertainment at lunchtime, including a saxophonist one day. The whole way this hotel is run creates such a happy atmosphere, with no air of formality or stuffiness. Guests chat, smile, and take time to share their day with each other—and that, for us, is the magic of the Blue Ivy’s ethos. 💙 Thank you to everyone for giving us the most wonderful holiday. We look forward to seeing you again next year!
- forbeswally14 (10/5): A holiday from heaven - We have holidayed in Cyprus for the last 28 years in pathos, Limassol and 10 different hotels in protaras but nothing comes close to comparing with the blue ivy. The rooms are bright and airy and spotlessly clean as was every area of the hotel. The food can only be described as amazing and would be worthy in any Michelin star restaurant. The general manager, Nichols was out and about every day speaking to people making sure that everyone was happy and any problem his door was always open. On the really hot days the pool bar came around giving out cold slushes to the guests at no cost, a very nice touch we thought. I have never been to a hotel where every member of staff looked so happy at there work and always had time to speak in passing. We cannot thank the blue ivy enough for a fantastic holiday in a hotel that 5 stars doesn’t do it justice, deserves no many more. Nichols and all his staff are far above anything we have ever encountered before, thank you and we will definately be returning on a regular basis
- Dinsdale07 (10/5): Our first visit to Cyprus - From the first moment after our arrival we were treated like royalty, the staff were so welcoming, friendly and professional for our entire stay. The room, albeit just a standard room, was excellent with really comfortable beds, bathroom with shower, spacious balcony overlooking the pool, safe, tea & coffee making equipment, fridge, hairdryer etc. Housekeeping were available to change the bedding and towels daily.The food was outstanding with so much choice and if I have any advice to give is to try an evening meal there at the first opportunity. You won’t want to eat elsewhere. The hotel is very close to the beach, plenty of supermarkets and shops to keep everyone happy. The nightlife in the area is varied and will meet all tastes. The boardwalk is situated next to the beach and a leisurely stroll will take you past lots of bars, cafes all the way to Fig Tree Bay. Did we want to come home? No. Will we return? You betcha
- Monkitt (10/5): Excellent choice at The Blue Ivy Hotel - This is our second time visiting The Blue Ivy Hotel & Suites, this is the best hotel I've ever been in, the hotel and our room is exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfy to sleep in. ALL of the staff are so friendly here and nothing is too much trouble for them, the breakfasts are very good, the best full English I've had abroad, we haven't had an evening meal as yet as we are bed & breakfast but we did last year and they were very good ( I'm a really fussy eater) we've had some snacks during the day time and they were very tasty and reasonably priced. The pool area is again very clean, we did struggle to get a sunbed by the main pool as people do put their towels on the beds early that's not to say we didn't get a bed as we did round by the children's pool......we're here in September and I've not seen any children so it is very quiet by the pool. The hotel is situated about 5 minute walk to the beach and the same to bars and restaurants. I will definitely be back at this hotel at some point in the future. Thanks to Nikos and all his staff for making our stay at the Blue Ivy very pleasurable.
- Q2152AJhazelh (10/5): Fantastic - We stayed here in August and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is exceptional with incredibly friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent with a huge variety and even iced lattes! The room was lovely (I’d request a sea view next time). The sunbed situation could be improved, as some were reserved and left empty all day, but it wasn’t a major issue. A brilliant bonus is the in-resort Jet2 check-in, which makes Larnaca Airport much easier to deal with. On our last day we met Nico, the manager, who was always visible and engaging with guests. He kindly gave us a food and drink voucher – such a thoughtful touch. Overall, an outstanding hotel that we would return to without hesitation. Already planning when, not if!
- O574SEcarolinem (8/5): Wonderful holiday in a top class hotel - My husband and I just returned from a wonderful week in this beautiful hotel - the staff were all amazing - so helpful and friendly - nothing was too much trouble - the manager Nicos was hospitality personified and this obviously rubs off on the rest of the staff - particular mention to Peter at the pool bar - the rooms and communal areas were spotlessly clean - the food was outstanding - this is all inclusive but not like in other hotels - the choice and quality of the food on offer was amazing - the only small niggle was the occasional 8am race for sunbeds - this however would not put me off booking this hotel again or recommending to others - we will definitely be back to this hotel

From the moment we arrived, the staff were just brilliant – friendly, attentive, and always happy to help us with anything. The hotel itself is spotless. Everything feels fresh and well-cared for, from the rooms to the public areas. The food was also delicious, with a great variety of tasty dishes to choose from throughout our stay at The Blue Ivy. A special shout-out has to go to Peter in the pool bar and lifeguard. He’s a top guy and nothing was too much trouble for him. He really went the extra mile to makesure we all had a great time on our holiday. Overall, we had a fantastic holiday and i would definitely recommend.

- 894beverlyc (10/5): Totally amazing hotel and the staff are fabulous - This is our 3rd visit to the Blue Ivy and as always EVERYTHING is amazing. Fabulous food, terrific staff, lovely rooms and pools. I felt I had to write this while I am still here as this time Nicos and his staff went above and beyond their duty to help me. I am on special medication (injections weekly) so brought two filled pens with me to use while here. Unfortunately, one was damaged and I thought I would have to get an early flight home as I could not survive without it. This medication is rare and not available on NHS at home. I have special funding and it is delivered to my house by courier. When I mentioned my plight to Nicos, he and his team spung in to action. Trifonas took me to the local clinic and they recognised the drug, but, of course, did not stock it. They ordered it, and after two more trips to the clinic and a further trip to a pharmacy in Paralimni , it had been shipped from Nicosia. A further trip back to the clinic ( as it was not in a clic pen) for them to administer it and I was on the mend. All of the trips were with Trifonas - sanctioned by Nicos. I later found out that the staff had to trawl the internet to find it. Not surprised as it is not available through the GP at home. They spent the next day checking up that I was ok as it takes a while to get in to the system. These people are amazing, they could have waved me on my way, but they made it possible to enjoy the rest of my holiday. Would recommend the Blue Ivy to everyone - they certainly go that extra mile!

The staff at this hotel are the best with hospitality any where I have stayed including Sandals. We were upgraded as a good will gesture by the Manager Nikos, ( we did not expect this). The room was clean and beautiful with its own sitting room and sea view . We had 2 dessert bottles of wine with a note welcoming us back, from Nikos and his team. The whole holiday was amazing , it was lovely to be remembered by so many of the staff.The cultured way this hotel is run, puts it high above all others . We didn't eat out because the hotel food was so amazing.We have already booked for next year !!!

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel so welcome and it was like staying with a long lost family. The food was absolutely amazing and there was so much to choose from. A great variety of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks such smoothies, frappes and iced coffees, pink gin, Baileys and Kopperburg. The Manager, Nikos valued every member of his team and made a point of thanking them in front of guests. The bed was super comfortable and hotel was spotless. I would highly recommend this hotel and have already booked for next year. P.s be prepared to put on weight! Absolutely amazing. Wow! 👏

Room excellent 4th floor no noise above and situated so you could see the sea. Little extras in room. Housekeeping work hard to keep entire hotel clean. Food in restaurant is well presented and cooked fresh. Staff greet you each time with a smile and remember you. Special shout to Maria and Mariaz. Nicos runs a fantastic hotel and it was nice to see him and all staff from last year. He is a lovely genuine hardworking man , always friendly and was a pleasure to see and speak to him every day. Bar staff again recognised us and the cocktails in Aroma bar well you need to try yourself. Had a massage in spa from Nicole, have had a few but this one was very good completely relaxed me for my holiday. This is situated in a really good spot minutes from the beach. - Battlefam (10/5): An Exceptional Stay - We'll be back! - Just returned from the most fabulous holiday, staying at The Blue Ivy Hotel. This hotel is an absolute gem and, by far, the best all-inclusive hotel we have been too (and we have been to a few). Perfectly situated and a short walk into the town and to the beach. The hotel is meticulously clean and fault free. So many thoughtful small touches from a sandwich and welcome drink on arrival, free back massages and cold flannels around the pool. The afternoon entertainment was fantastic with relaxing live music each afternoon around the pool. The staff were warm, welcoming and really went that extra mile. It was my daughter’s birthday whilst we were out there and a real fuss was made of her – bringing a beautiful birthday cake and bottle of prosecco to our table. Huge thanks Trifonas for taking care of us and a special shout out to Andreas and Emiliya who are absolute stars and a real credit to this place. We would have no hesitation in recommending this amazing hotel. Other guests were booking again for next year whilst there. Don’t hesitate to book – I promise, you won’t be disappointed! Room 305

Honestly from the minute you arrive you feel like you really belong. We were upgraded to a family room with a side sea view which was amazing and spotlessly clean. Every area of the hotel is kept so clean by the wonderful housekeeping team run by the gorgeous Eleni. The housekeeping team are seen throughout the day and night working so hard. The staff make this hotel what it is. Mr Nikos the GM and his amazing team who he is really proud of do an amazing job making sure everything runs smoothly for you to enjoy your holiday. Now for a few special mention’s - thank you to Tryfonas for always checking in on us, Nikolai for keeping us entertained and for providing delicious cocktails. Also thank to Khan,Simi, David, Anna, Vlad, Hayley, Filios, Peter, Carolina and all the other staff for making our holiday so special. Ideally situated for a walk to the beach or a walk down the strip to visit some amazing restaurants. Everyone at the hotel is so nice and friendly and the staff are a credit to Nikos the General Manager . He himself works hard to make you feel welcome and to ensure everything is to your satisfaction. Great customer service is very important to him. The food in the restaurant is so lovely with great choice . Bar staff at pool work so hard but again always with a smile and friendly . If you’re looking at this hotel book it you won’t be disappointed. We will return for sure

Sorry lot's of names to mention. Best hotel i have been to for food. Plenty of choice for branded drinks. We were all inclusive and was very impressed.Rooms are clean and modern.Clean towels everyday Free safe no tourist tax. Nicos introduced himself to us and as others state very kind and generous.Not once was i down to get a bed by the pool before 9.30. If you are not fussy where you want to sit there are plenty of beds in the sun or shade.Thank you for an amazing holiday keep up the fantastic work . Will will return.
- ellierho91 (8/5): Very nice but left a little disheartened. - We arrived quite late on a transfer at the same time as another couple who made it to the check in desk just before we did. Whilst they were checking in there was a big song and dance about how their room had been upgraded for free and they were now in a much bigger much more comfortable room. I'm not so out of touch with the world to know that random upgrades can happen - especially reading other reviews on here. I don't begrudge anyone anything and I wasn't even that bothered that we weren't upgraded it was the clear disparity more than anything that left a bitter taste and made us feel like second rate guests from the getgo. Every encounter I had with each member of staff was professional, friendly and courteous. I cannot fault them on their service. There is a difference however between service and hospitality and it it appears in our experience we seemed to forgo the latter. Nicos the manager is very present within the hotel and is very popular with guests, we didn't have any conversations with him as everytime we saw him it was in passing whilst he was talking to someone else and we're not the sort to stand helplessly on the sidelines like puppies waiting for scraps of attention, so we went about our day. A lot of the previous reviews are quite vociferous in telling us about the amount of vouchers for complimentary meals and drinks that are given out during their stay. However unfortunately we didn't see the benefits of that generosity. We're not an ostentatious couple - maybe that was a detriment to us and possibly something to consider for others alike? As we were B&B anything we ate or drank was added to our room tab and we would pay periodically to keep an eye on what we were spending. One evening we went to pay our balance so far and it was much higher than anticipated as an error had been made in charging someone's evening meals to our room. Fair enough the issue was sorted fairly quickly but I just felt that a good will gesture in the form of a voucher would have been nice seeing as though others apparently get them gratuitously. The reason we didn't raise this as a 'complaint' is that I'm of the view that you shouldn't need to go searching for exceptional service, it should come to you and as much as it was an inconvenience - what benefit would I get from complaining other than appearing like a whiney little rat and wasting precious holiday time. It wouldn't have changed what happened but to settle the issue on a positive note rather than a neutral one would have been nice. Other niggly things about the hotel that just aren't to my preference were that the sunbed dash at 8am was borderline embarrassing and uncivilised and at times uncouth - no fault of the hotel but gave me the ick and I have no desire involving myself in a physical head to head with 6ft plus middle aged burly men. It's all well and good having 'plenty' of sunbeds available which there are, but a large majority of them are not in a very favourable position sun wise for the duration of the day. After lunch half of the beds round the main pool are in she shade and by 4pm about 80% I understand I can move round to the children's pool in the afternoon but I don't come away to spend my days clock watching and sunbed hopping - again not an issue that can be resolved by the hotel but just my opinion. Food was 10/10 we ate and paid for lunch twice at the hotel and it was faultless as was the cleanliness of the hotel. The rooms were nice. A little small in my opinion. There's a hairdryer in the drawer under the mirror and a chair to sit at but theres no chance in hell you're able to sit at the vanity desk unless your legs are the width of Rizzla papers. All in all the hotel is lovely and they've built a very nice community there which shows with the number of returning guests but I can't help but feel as a first timer, the expectations we had garnered from the other reviews we read fell ever so slightly short.

All the staff including the manager Nicos were so friendly and helpful and nothing was a bother. They really are the main reason that this hotel excels above others. From Mr Nicos, the general manager to the cleaning staff, you are greeted with a smile, a hug and a willingness to stop and have a chat at every turn. Arrival From the moment we arrived, you could feel the warmth of the staff as they greeted us. We were given a sandwich and a signature blue cocktail as a welcome gesture and even though it was a busy check in, the receptionist took his time to explain everything to everyone. We travelled with my wife’s parents who had stayed here last year and they were informed that they had been given a room upgrade which was a lovely gesture. Their room was huge!! Room We were allocated the room we had requested which was a side sea view on a high floor. The room was lovely with plenty of storage, adequately sized for 2 people, immaculately clean, nice bathroom with a rain shower, big balcony and THE comfiest bed I think I have ever slept in! There is a fridge and a coffee machine along with bottled water which are replenished daily. The toiletries in the bathroom are very nice, towels changed daily, safe and air con as standard and a big TV with British channels. Rooms are cleaned daily and the maids leave a biscuit and good night card on your pillow which is a lovely touch. The hotel is absolutely spotless at every turn. Pool There is entertainment in the form of a violinist or a saxophonist around the pool on selected days which gives off a very relaxed and chilled atmosphere. The pool bar is cashless, so if like us you are bed and breakfast, you can pay by card or charge to your room. Otherwise, if you are staying all inclusive, all drinks are included. There is a rush for the sunbeds at 8am and I know that the Mr Nicos is trying to come up with a solution to this. This is not the fault of the hotel but more of the selfishness of some of the people staying at the hotel who thought it was ok to literally push past people with handfuls of towels and throw them to secure the sunbeds that they wanted. Ridiculous that grown adults would act in such a way. There were always sunbeds available around the main pool but there is also a second pool that gets the sun all day. Maybe allocation of sunbeds is the way forward but some people would just moan that they didn’t have the sunbed they want so it as a thankless task. I did see some towels removed by staff but not at all times. One large group in particular would rush to secure their beds and then some members of the group would disappear from mid morning until mid afternoon. Let me please emphasise that this did not affect our stay in any way and as there was plenty of availability of beds we would just move about. Food and drink We were bed and bed breakfast and the choice and quality was amazing. The waiters were very attentive and quick to replenish tea/coffee when you are running low. We did have a couple of evening meals at the hotel and WOW! We are out most nights but I can honestly say that the quality of food at the hotel surpassed the majority of what we ate whilst out, and there are some very nice restaurants in Protaras!! We were given a voucher by Mr Nicos for an evening meal at the hotel and used it for Indian night. The food was amazing, authentic and as it was a buffet, there was as much as you wanted. Starters, mains, sundries and desserts with drinks included. Amazing! There is a meet a greet with the staff team on Thursdays where guests meet the staff team and Prosecco and canapés are served and there is happy hour on the terrace every evening from 6pm-7pm. Gym/Spa We used the gym a few times during our stay and whilst it is small it is adequate for an early morning workout before indulging in a hearty breakfast! Again, spotlessly clean, fresh water and showers if needed. Towels You are given a card to replenish your pool towels daily so no need to take towels with you in your luggage. The ladies at the towel exchange are so lovely and friendly and would always enquire how our day had been. So lovely. Staff This is what makes this hotel so special. Yes, it is spotlessly clean and the food is amazing, but the staff from the top to the bottom are first class. Nothing is ever too much trouble and the door to Mr Nicos office is always open for a chat. The happiness and quality of stay of the quests is what is the most important to everyone that works here and that is evident to see. Thank you to each and every one of you for an amazing 2 weeks and we will most definitely be back. Yammas!

- p0mbearW00F (6/5): Average. - Writing this as a frequent traveller. Upon arrival, we were greeted and were checking in with another couple, who got told their room had been upgraded. 'Much more comfortable room, bigger better'. Rub it down our necks why don't you? Why do they get special treatment? Anyway, after checking in to our standard room what we paid for with no upgrade offered, gotta say I have stayed in better rooms, bit small for my liking. But other than that cant complain, lovely view of the sea from balcony (side sea view) cosy bed, good bathroom but no extraction which i found surprising. We stayed B&B, the breakfast is exceptional. Vast amount of choice and delicious. The staff of this hotel is what makes it work so well. Sunbeds... now I have seen the videos online of people being let loose at other hotels all rushing for a sunbed, these places I avoid as this is not my scene, to my horror, this is exactly what happens here. A tape barrier is across the pool area until 8am, and there is a large line of people ready and waiting to run and chuck their towels to a sunbed. If I wanted this, I would of gone to benidorm. Also, before I came out, I read reviews on people reserving their sunbeds and then disappearing for hours without using them, the hotel replied to these concerns stating 'if no one is on them for an hour, we will remove the towels' well this was certainly not adhered too when I was there. People disappearing for 5 hours and not touched their sunbed. The pool area does not get the sun after 3pm. At 1230, half the sunbathing area is shaded. Also, to hear other guests have been given 'free meal vouchers' during their stay and we havent, this kind of summed up our experience here, not treated fairly, equally and to be honest, not welcome. Why are others given upgrades? Why are other given free vouchers? Not very good is it? What happened to everyone being treated the same? Ive seen the defensive responses from the mangement of this hotel, so I'm expecting the same, but I cant see how you can argue with equality. The only reason I havent given my review less stars is because of the food quality, the staff who cant do enough for you and relieved some incredible service, and the overall appearance of the hotel.

- donhargreaves1 (10/5): A Cypriot Heaven. - We are just home after a fantastic holiday in the most amazing hotel which is filled from top to bottom with truly wonderful people. Rooms - We stayed in a side sea view room which was perfect for our requirements. Rooms were fresh, modern and cleaned thoroughly daily to the highest standards. Our room also faced onto the road but noise was of no issue whatsoever. The hotel in every area is modern and immaculate it’s like they never stop cleaning. Food & Drink - The food was simply stunning from breakfast to dinner the choices were endless and the themed nights were wonderful. It is evident how much pride the whole catering team take in serving food to this standard day after day. Pools - The hotel has an adults only pool which was so chilled and relaxing just what we required. There was live music most lunchtimes which was a nice touch. The children’s pool is more than adequately sized. Sun beds were lovely and fresh towels were available as required. Location - The hotel is located 2 minutes from the harbour and the shops which is great depending on your daily plans. Staff - I have travelled to many places but can honestly say that I have never experienced such friendly people across all departments in all of my life. Any hotel is only as good as the staff that run it and every member of staff was truly wonderful and a credit to the hotel. Friendly, efficient and nothing was ever a problem I can’t thank them all enough for making our holiday such a wonderful experience. Nicos (General Manager) is around daily and always engaging with all the guests, he is an absolute gentleman and nothing is ever a problem. We both had the most amazing time and actually booked again for next year whilst we were there which tells you everything about how good this place is.
- T5482LNgailc (10/5): Incredible hotel and stunning location Cyprus Protaras - This hotel went above and beyond beyond. It was small with 2 pools but spotless, amazing kind staff that couldn’t do enough for you and the hotel manager was always around chatting to everyone. Everyone who stayed at the hotel were super friendly and fun to be around. The entertainment during the days was perfect the saxophone guy blew me away The bar staff and drinks were the best the cocktails gin and cans of juice were amazing The rooms were very clean The are was stunning and very safe. Hotel is 2 minutes from the beach and 2 minutes from the main strip so perfect location. Lots of lovely shops and a Lidl. 2 beautiful churches both 10 min walk with memory trees which melted my heart. I never go to the same place twice but I will certainly be going back there. I loved the food as it was all inclusive but completely different options everyday. Very kind caring people and community. I would highly recommended this location and hotel.
