Sang (8/5): Convenient for families. - The hotel was convenient for families - had everything we needed all in one location. The beach wasn't swimmable during our say (red flag warning). There were areas of the beach that wasn't clean.

There were plenty of sun-beds so you could always find a place to relax by the pool. Breakfast was amazing too There was not much in walking distance around the hotel.
Mio (6/5): The pool is as great but other aspects were not up to the standard. - Pool Too crowded to get a table for breakfast and we were escorted to different room, where the selection of foods was limited compared to the main restaurant. We had problems with lightings in our room 2 nights in a row and couldn’t sleep properly. The technician came to fix the problem right away but it took some time to fix it. Right next day, we had another lightning problem again.

Harriet (8/5): Lovely trip with a young family. - The food was lovely, the staff were great & the kids play area & kids swimming areas were great fun. We also really enjoyed the Easter Sunday celebration. The tiles in both the big swimming pool & the little swimming pool were coming off which was safe for our young children. There were lots of chocolates & cakes at breakfast which were not suitable for a brekafast meal.

The pool is a dream and the proximity to the beach.. I mean, the hotel is at the beach. The breakfast buffet is phenomenal and catering for all sorts of food allergies, so my coeliac partner was not short on options One of our favorite things was to have early breakfast and walk for about 2km at the beach to digest food before relaxing in on eof the many sunbeds available. Absolutely dreamy. The staff is so polite and super friendly. They exchange money at the hotel as well which is quite helpful if your whole mood is to relax. The suttle buses to and from Hoi An are a MUST and I consider itan absolute gem of a deal provided by the hotel. We loved it. nothing. the hotel and staff are lovely

Kaum Wechsel im Essensangebot. - Die Preise im Hotel sind übertrieben hoch. Der Aufpreis für Roomservice alleine kostet fast so viel wie ein Grab in die Stadt. -Pool sieht zwar von der größe nett aus, aber ist sehr heruntergekommen. Fließen fallen ab und hinterlassen scharfe Kanten. -Strand war vermüllt und wirkte wenig einladend. -Kaum Liegen und Sonnenschirme am Strand und diese waren zum Teil kaputt. -Liegen am Pool waren ebenfalls oft kaputt und die Matratzen sahen oft dreckig aus. - Die Gegend um das Hotel ist karg. Nebenan ist eine Baustelle. Es gibt nichts zu erkunden. Für Restaurants oder Erkundungen muss man immer per Grab irgendwo hinfahren.

The rooms are large, clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful. The three restaurants were exceptional and the grounds and pool immaculate. Plenty of facilities for young children to enjoy which was a godsend. Plenty of activities for the adults as well. Will definitely return to this resort.
916garryg (10/5): Big beautiful rooms and a great pool - Big resort with a great pool and beautiful beachfront location. The rooms are big and well appointed with great options for families. Breakfast is extensive with more than enough choices to get the day started. Located in between Hoi an and Danang city, either are easily reached within 30 minutes and grab makes the journey cheap and easy. They also do offer a free bus transfer in and out of Hoi an.

Rooms are spacious, super long swimming pool for those that like to swim or play in the water. Hotel right in front of the beach. Arrived at lobby , greeting ok , buggy pick up ok , car park no sign that says park your car here , and no lines , park anyhow you like. Lifeguards at main pool disaster , they are watching no one , their phones yes. I felt zero safety. Restaurant , la plage, they tried their best , sour faces when we transferred inside to eat cause it was super windy , your food would fly off your fork. So finally we ate and I decided no reviews , but then the bellmen were laughing their hearts off when I said I will complain about your attitude seeing us off. Main pool dirty , bottom pealing off. Menus dirty and stained, quite shocking. Pool towels are face sized towels. I took some photos around but can’t be even bothered to upload them. bottom line, will not return, not worth any dollar I spent there, at least for a day pass and f&b
Sailesh (7/5): Sorry but don’t bother staying here - Grand hotel with comfortable room. We had the one overlooking the pool side. Bed was comfortable and room was amazing. This view is in context that this is a 5 star Sheraton and expected more. Have also given feedback to a senior mgr at hotel to be fair. Swimming pool - long but ONLY 1.3m deep all the way. The world’s largest kids pool. Tiles coming off and no way for adults to enjoy a good swim. Towels ran out for swimming in the weekend. No pool bar etc just a shed with staff overwhelmed to keep up with service. Food - mediocre breakfast nearly same very day. Orders lost, eggs not cooked properly, bland pho soups. Except for the grill resturant where food and staff were too notch, the other 2 Resturant were a one time visit. Location - worst place with nothing around. Beach - they need to advertise it is unsafe to swim everyday.

Children playground areas are a big plus. Even though still in good condition, the complex is quite old and some minor refurbishing and updating could be done. The pool tiling needs to be redone.

Siempre tuvo bandera roja por lo que no te podías meter al agua aunque se veía tranquila. La pileta buenísima amplia y con grandes vistas. Personal muy bueno, atento y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Excelente spa. La habitación puede mejorar. Es un poco antigua. La bacha del baño se tapaba y tardaba mucho en desahogar. Al lado están haciendo una obra por lo que era un poco ruidoso. Es lejos del centro de Da Nang. Habíamos sacado acá por la playa pero tampoco era muy linda ni tenía servicio de playa, nos gustó más la playa de My Khe.

skewlbabe22 (10/5): An amazing stay at Sheraton Da Nang - We stayed on 25-29th Dec 2025. Most of my friends did suggest other hotels as Sheraton's price considered at the higher side. However, I'm glad that we decided to maintain our decision to stay at Sheraton Grand Da Nang as the service was exceptional. The room is big for 3 of us (my husband, my son and I), clean and spacious toilet complete with bidet (a plus point) and they have a very big swimming pool with complete facilities. The concierge, front desk always smile and very attentive. Overall experience was 5 star ⭐ Looking forward to visit again Sheraton Da Nang and I hope in future, Sheraton will offer separate "Halal section" to cater for Muslim guests for buffet breakfast. Sheraton offers free guest activities, and we joined the boxing class. WOW—what an experience! The instructor, Vu, was outstanding. Super patient, incredibly detailed, and very encouraging. As a first-timer, I felt guided every step of the way. This boxing experience was powerful, fun, and surprisingly addictive! Vu’s body posture and movements were amazing—strong, smooth, and perfectly controlled. It was inspiring to watch and learn from him. Truly a fantastic, unique, and memorable experience. Highly recommended—don’t miss it even if you’ve never boxed before! 🥊✨

21pawankumars (8/5): Outstanding pool and kids activities, but Indian vegetarian dining, and elite recognition need improve - We stayed at Sheraton Grand Danang Resort & Convention Center with our family, including young children, during the Christmas period. The resort itself is very spacious, clean, and well maintained, and overall our experience was mixed. The swimming pool is the biggest highlight of this resort — it is extremely large and very long, and both adults and children enjoyed it immensely. We spent a lot of time swimming and kayaking in the pool, and the kids absolutely loved it. The kids’ facilities are excellent, including a water slide and water-park–style kids area. There are also both indoor and outdoor play areas for children, which were very well managed. During the Christmas period, the kids’ activities were particularly well done. The children enjoyed cookie-making sessions, and on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, there was a Santa Claus distributing gifts to the kids, which created a lovely festive atmosphere and was truly enjoyable for families with children. The rooms were clean, spacious, and modern, with new switches and fittings. We had a partial sea-view room, where the ocean was visible to some extent — similar to many resorts in this area. Housekeeping was consistent and reliable. The resort, however, felt very quiet and almost empty, even during Christmas, which made it peaceful but also somewhat lonely, with very few guests visible around the property. The beach area was not suitable for relaxing with children during our stay. At the time we visited in December, the ocean had high tides, making it unsafe and uncomfortable for kids to enjoy the water. Because of this, we did not feel it was a place where families could sit and relax while children played in the sea. This may be seasonal, and we are unsure how beach conditions are during other months of the year, but during our stay, the beach was not child-friendly. For Marriott Bonvoy Elite members, the experience was average. Although there is a signboard indicating elite check-in, there was no special recognition or enhanced treatment. The check-in process was acceptable but not particularly warm. While overall service across the resort was good, the reception team could improve in terms of guest interaction and hospitality, especially toward elite members. Unfortunately, the biggest disappointment was the Indian vegetarian food experience, particularly at breakfast and during the Christmas dinner buffet. The resort has a head chef, Mr. Rishab, of Indian origin and during breakfast there were 3–4 Indian vegetarian dishes such as dal and sabzi. However, these dishes were served only with rice, and no Indian breads such as roti, chapati, or paratha were available at all throughout our stay, despite repeated requests over multiple days. For Indian households, dal and sabzi are typically eaten with Indian breads at breakfast, not only with rice, so this made the experience incomplete. We were also shocked by the behaviour of the chef , even after him confirming we would be provided with Whole wheat flour roti or similar during our stay . On one day when we said please sereve us roti/Chapati or paratha , he said please wait at the table it will be there in 15 minutes , and have been waiting for over an hour it wasnt served and the next day when asked him , we dint get the whole wheat chapati , he was like i went for a meeting . WHAT IS THIS, you say guest to wait and suddenly you disapper . ? ! We had also booked under a Christmas festive package and had communicated in advance regarding Indian vegetarian food. On Christmas evening, despite calling guest services from our room and being assured that Indian vegetarian dishes would be arranged, no Indian vegetarian options were available at the buffet. After waiting for a long time, we were only offered items that were already part of the buffet. The situation was handled by the duty in-charge, Ms. Thu Le, but the overall handling and coordination were disappointing. Overall, Sheraton Grand Danang is a beautiful and well-maintained resort with an exceptional swimming pool and excellent kids’ activities, making it very attractive for families. However, Indian vegetarian dining consistency, elite member recognition, beach usability for kids (during this season), and front-desk hospitality need improvement to match the standards expected from a resort of this level, especially during festive periods.

A basic service request resulted in delays and confusion. We waited over 15 minutes for a manager, were then told another appointment was required, and only after mentioning my husband’s Bonvoy status did a manager briefly speak with us. Basic professionalism should not require referencing loyalty status. After ten days of excellent hospitality across Vietnam, this stay was the clear low point and did not meet Marriott service standards. There were also concerns in the family pool area. Seating near the children’s pool volleyball was denied despite the area being adjacent and unsupervised at the time, with staff distracted. This raised concerns about attentiveness and oversight in a family-designated space. Overall, this stay reflected poor service consistency and management oversight. As loyal Marriott guests, this was disappointing. We would not return or recommend this property.

WayneHihoSilver (10/5): Beautiful Property - Great Staff - Magnificent Pool - A beautiful property and as a Bonboy Lifetiem Titanium they upgrade us to a huge corner suite. We enjoyed many of their amenities during our stay. We had a fantastic meal at The Grill with exceptional service from their Supervisor, Nung. We also ate at the Plage and enjoyed drinks in the Lobby Bar before dinner each night. Fortunately, we had good weather for a few days, allowing us to enjoy the beach and your magnificent pool. My wife also took a cooking class from you chef and enjoyed herself immensely. This is a great place to stay - especially if your coming with kids as they have a separate pool, water park and indoor playroom for children. We highly recommend it.
