• Brett (7/5): We had a lovely stay at Bellevue House!! - The location was great. Very central within the downtown area and very walkable to shops and restaurants. The daily breakfast was delicious. Enjoyed the food and coffee. Employees were helpful and friendly. The room in Bellevue House was pretty small which I didn’t mind, but there were a few things that were missing. There were not enough plugs for charging electronics. Also there were no hooks or places to hang wet coats or towels.

• Marisa (7/5): It was wonderful, I wanted to stay a second night! - It was a lovely stay, the bed was comfortable and the room was cosy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. I would stay again! Everything was wonderful. If I could give one piece of advice, I would suggest changing the carpet and the sitting chairs in the hallway. They have stains are are generally old. I think that would give a really nice facelift!
• Melissa (7/5): Charming historic house in a great location but with thin walls - Fantastic location with parking in easy walking distance to Thames Street. The room was large and comfortable with high ceilings and historic charm. Breakfast was very good - decent variety of hot and cold and everything we tried was good. We had a ground floor room by the entry so we heard everyone who entered or exited, which wasn’t too bad since it’s not peak season. Unfortunately we ended up with people in the room next door who were loud and night owls and people above us who seemed to be pacing the floors fairly often - between the two, sleep was difficult.

• Thomas (10/5): We came for the St. Patrick's Day parade. The room was warm and comfortable. The shower was excellen - We've stayed here mulitple times. The breakfast is always great, usually a quice and meat offering like sausage, greek yogurt, hard boiled eggs and the usual pastries and cereals. The coffee is surprisingly good.

• Emma (10/5): Beautiful Accommodation in the heart of the city - The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Parking was free and convenient, adjacent to the hotel. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was incredible. It is a short walk to many restaurants, bars and attractions. All of the amenities were great and it was an affordable option that was worth more that what I paid. Highly recommend! Everything was great!

The included breakfast was very good and the room was charming Oddly there was no shower curtain liner, just a fabric curtain which had some mold spots on it which was off putting. Also the building as a whole was damp although that’s probably normal because of age and proximity to the water

• Terri (7/5): Great place for a short stay. - Location We did not stay at the Bellevue house - they put us in the Bellevue Manor. I believe our room wasn’t exactly what I expected or booked, but it was fine . The facility is tired.

We figured the hotel would be very old and it was but it was modernized was very clean rustic like we were looking forward to close proximity to the festival we parked the car didn’t use it for the whole weekend. Did a lot of walking lotta eaten lotta drinking. Had a great time and did enjoy that breakfast. lol, cheaper rates lol lol,

• Christopher (9/5): A nice hotel with great food and a nice location. Just off Bellevue avenue which is a main drag apparently. - The breakfasts were excellant. I would say the room had been refurbished fairly recently. Comfortable. Electric outlets were a bit scarce but that’s to be expected in an old home. Given the parking situation in Newport , it was nice having a dedicated lot. Not much. The toilet had a small internal leak which caused it to refill every 5 minutes for about five seconds that interfered with sleep. When we reported it, the manager said he’d have it looked at.

• Lyand (3/5): - We booked, paid and were confirmed for 3*** Bellevue House hotel. But we were placed in 2** The Inn on Bellevue hotel for unexplained reasons. Both are located in neighboring houses and use the same reception. So I cannot rate Bellevue House, as the host insists. The Inn on Bellevue has everything you need for an overnight stay and conveniently located in Newport downtown, but it is very old and unattractive. Do not include breakfast in your stay. It was horrible! But Newport and its mansions are wonderful!!!
• Konnie (9/5): Great location, friendly, helpful staff. - It was a great location to grab the free 67 bus. The breakfast was very good. The shower water pressure was amazing!! lol ALSO, we forgot 2 shirts in the closet and they mailed them back to us! Staying on the 3rd floor.
