- Joanne Marie (2/5): - We originally booked this hotel for 7 days but unfortunately could not stay more than one night. The first room we were given had visible mold, so we asked to change. The second room was not much better — it smelled musty, the air conditioner was very noisy, the shower head was broken, and the bed had stains. The internet kept cutting off, and the TV did not have Netflix or YouTube. On the positive side, the staff were friendly, but not enough to make up for the poor condition of the rooms and lack of proper customer service. Overall, the cleanliness and maintenance were very disappointing. We ended up checking out after just one night, even though we had already paid for a full week. A very sad and frustrating experience.

There was barely any lighting, and the only tiny window faced a wall, making it feel like a basement room. There was no fridge, no water pressure in the sink, and to make matters worse, the room was infested with ants and some cockroaches.

Rooms is dirty, toilet was clogged takes half day to fixed when we follow-up, toilet mirror was detached, bad smell from drainage was strong, they use soiled dirty white Towels, pillows are smell bad, linens had so much stained and inks, they used old torn linens for extra bed. No available cleaning person to call on. Over-all experience was terrible. We didnt finished our stay and move to other hotel. Notified the staff and manager about this. Tried to contact expedia to cancel on our second day but attended our message at help center. They should refund what i paid for this garbage hotel.

Right off main street with jeepnees and taxi.

Not impressed by the furnishings the refrigerator was dirty, There were holes in the bed linen, the table and chair were folding pieces. Within the hour of checking in I went to cancel the extension. I was ok staying one night but not further than that. They kindly explained there was a no refund policy. I asked for management who was very nice and refunded my money.

Polite, unobstrusive daily housekeeping. Daily water and electric kettle provided; unfortunately, no refridgerator. Comfy bed, clean new sheets, pillows & towels. Wonderful staff. There’s a cafe, but I chose to just walk and eat out as there’s alot of selection nearby.

- IanDio (8/5): Value for money, accessible, room has some quirks - Price-wise, it is quite a value for money, given the fact that it is close to the Provincial Capitol, Cebu Doctors Hospital and the rest of the businesses around Escario. The rooms are relatively clean, although the mismatched slippers somehow give a weird impression. I moved from a twin room to a double room and found that the room setup for both rooms are based on the twin room setup... the headboard in the double room is on BOTH SIDES of the bed, not above it. Plus, the only outlet in the room is found a foot above the bed. Boiling water would actually mean laying the kettle on the bed. Hot and cold shower in the bathroom, toilet has bidet (I know this is somewhat important to local guests) Staff are friendly, from the guard to the front office staff to the housekeeping. Breakfast is adequate and served in a room that desperately needs acoustic paneling. The laundromat in front of the hotel is run by a wonderful lady.
- John (6/5): Menu 5 from 7 unavailable - Breakfast was included with the price , unfortunately each morning was a long wait , with only myself and partner in dinning room , they could not even make toasted bread , I stayed 6 nights, on the 4th morning at 0855 t dishes from the seven on the menu were unavailable, I asked for continental breakfast, which consisted of 1 fried egg + toast with jam , This was not available due to no bread apparently, The rooms were clean and serviced regularly , Breakfast I would not recommend

One morning, reception called us randomly whilst we were still sleeping to tell us the menu over the phone and ask to make the order so they could prepare there and then... when we said we were not ready to eat, they asked when we wanted to eat and ultimately ended the conversation saying they would call later... but it was ok to order once at the restaurant.

- MildredDaradal (8/5): Affordable, Accomodating, Accesible - What i love with this hotel is its strong wifi connection, its hot n cold shower and its cool aircondition. There are just few rooms in each floor. It is near cebu doctors university hospital, if you travel via commute, you can tell the drivers to drop you off at cebu doc hospital in the emergency area cause rublin hotel is not yet that well known cause they are just new. From cebu doc hosp, its just a few steps away. There are also karenderya and barbecue stall around, they are open 24/7 and also Jollibee just few steps away. No worries getting hungry. There are also other hotels around. The staffs are very accomodating and friendly. They have free bfast, and their meals are good.

- Verified traveler (6/5): Good and convenient for a night's stay or two - I kind of expected some modern room amenities but as the hotel just started operations this year I guess it's understandable that they're still missing some of it. The comfort room's tiles can be pretty slick if you're not careful so I guess that merits some concern and the place could use some more efficient ventilation in it. The room could also use some reachable light switches by the bedside. I was looking forward to a room with a better view. For some reason, it wasn't ready so I had to take a prepared room on a much lower floor. The neighborhood has at least 3 convenience stores nearby and some choice places to eat (if you don't mind walking a bit more). I'd recommend dropping by in months where there are no monsoon rains.

- l_ac537 (8/5): Very good for the price! - We stayed in Rublin hotel for 2 nights after Palawan and it was super nice to have a clean bathroom, no humidity and helpful staff. Well located in Cebu, about 20min walk to the mall and other “attractions”. The double room that we had had everything you need : A/C, clean towels and bedsheets, space etc. Very nice just to transit for few days in Cebu.

- Travellingcouple1997 (8/5): Very happy - One of the best places we have stayed during our time travelling. Rooms were big and comfortable and by far one of the nicest we’ve seen in Asia! All staff were Super friendly and accommodating even when I became ill and ended up in the hospital (100 metres down the road). Although I would recommend telling the taxi driver the Cebu university hospital as a drop off/pick up point as it is quite hard to find first time. Over all so pleased with our stay and would return indefinitely! Only thing we thought could be improved was that there was no food or drink options within the hotel and this was not ideal especially when I was ill.

Although beware that next door is a construction site at this moment. Try the rooms at the back for now till that site closes down.
