• Richard (9/5): The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was especially good. - Staff was very accommodating and helpful. We arrived quite late and the mini-split heater was not working. Despite the hour, our host came to investigate. When it appeared to be a problem that needed a specialist, he provided an extra comforter that make the situation okay. Nothing; everything was really good.

• Gianfranco (7/5): Breve week end nella splendida Lecce. B&B a pochi passi dal centro storico tenuto benissimo. La struttura è comoda e - Struttura ubicata a pochi metri dal centro storico. Camera ampia e pulita. Il bagno è molto piccolo, la televisione non funziona e la colazione un pò povera.

• María Isabel (7/5): Podría ser mejor... - La ubicación era buena, se puede ir a pie a los lugares históricos de interés sin ningún problema. La habitación azul da a la calle y tiene bastante ruido. El dueño fue muy amable al cambiarnos a otra habitación (la azul) que da a un patio interior por lo que no tiene ruido. El desayuno fue bastante básico. Las sábanas y calidad de las camas no eran muy buenas.

• Richard Simon (1/5): Very poor. We gave the owner a chance to rectify afterwards but this was not forthcoming. - Not much I have to say that we were bitterly disappointed with the room, which was honestly the main reason for staying away for most of the week at great extra cost to us. First, I had no idea that no-one would be there to welcome us; yes, we were early but if I had not taken the phone number we would have been stuck outside all night. It was very difficult to find and the dim light above the sign was completely inadequate. Then having to put in a code – why were we not given this before we arrived? – and the despair at the room which was damp was unpleasant; why had there not been a window slightly opened in anticipation of our arrival? It was dimly lit, unwelcoming; a light was hanging dangerously off the wall, which we told your father about but when we returned it was still unrepaired. The windows did not close properly, the shower was weak and sometimes stopped completely and/or was cold and there should have been some shampoo in the bathroom and perhaps some body-cream; the ash-tray in the garden was full of cigarette ends and there was only one chair despite two people staying there; there was little storage – just a big wardrobe space with no shelves – and a rail so high that my wife could not reach it to hang her clothes up; the sheets had holes in them which looked as if they were moth-eaten… The safe was not attached to the wall so anyone could have stolen our valuables in one go. At breakfast, there was hardly any choice of tea, sugar was difficult to find, there was only one type of not very nice cereal, there were no croissants, there was no cheese, no meats except on the first morning, no butter, the breakfast-room was in need of refurbishment with tired pictures on the walls.

Einfacher Check-in-Prozess. Frühstücksraum mit viel Charme (Kellergewölbe) Air Condition ausgefallen. Stickig heiss. Mit offenem Fenster zu lärmig, da unser (blaues) Zimmer der Hauptstrasse zugewandt war. Fenster dichtet akustisch zu wenig ab. Geschirr im Frühstücksraum dürfte erweitert und evtl. vereinheitlicht werden (zu wenig Schalen für alle).

• Lucas (10/5): - We stayed 7 nights in Lecce and had a fantastic time at 19venti! The apartment was great – comfy bed, working AC, and a lovely, cozy outdoor space with shade all day. The location was perfect, close to the old town but peaceful at night. Fabio, our host, was super friendly and always helpful.

• Kristy (7/5): Great location and nice hosts. - It was a nice space, a great location, and the hosts were wonderfully helpful, giving us local tips and telling us about places to visit on our trip. The room was right next to a busy road, so it was quite noisy. Parking nearby was difficult - the spaces nearby were frequently full, meaning we had to park a fair walk away. The bed wasn't the most comfortable.
• Christos (10/5): Comfy apartment at the heart of the city. - Traditional apartment at the heart of the city of Lecce. Comfortable and clean. The house owner was very polite and helpful. Appreciated the beautiful courtyard.

• Vera (10/5): Beautiful stay - We loved our stay here. The host is so kind and lovely. It's a family run business and you can really tell - they care. The breakfast was good. The rooms are beautiful. It's really close to the old town, so great location. When the host saw I was pregnant, he even gave us a lift to the train station when we left. Highly recommend.

Would definitely return. the breakfast could use some improvement, we missed some fresh bread, but the coffee was amazing and there were some nice cakes as well. And the TV that kept breaking the transmission and only italian channels were available.

• Phyllis (5/5): Great location but very uncomfortable beds. - We booked this accommodation for its location. It's a five minute walk to the old town. There are lots of restaurants, cafes and supermarkets nearby also. There's lots of on-street parking (which has to be paid for by the hour, either by coin or card). It's a quiet street at night which is perfect for sleeping. We had a courtyard room, so we were at the back of the building anyway. The courtyard is cute. We had it to ourselves for the evening, although I think it's shared with another room, but I don't think anyone was using that room. It was self check-in, which worked well. I had tried emailing the property 3 days in advance through the "contact property" link on Booking.com to confirm check-in time but didn't receive a reply. I eventually sent a message via WhatsApp to the number listed and arranged check-in that way. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The mattress on the double bed was so soft that you sank when you sat on it. The pillows were also very uncomfortable. We had booked it as a triple room. Our teenage son's bed was a metal camp bed that creaked and rattled all night when he moved. It was also extremely uncomfortable. One of this bed's legs didn't even touch the floor, so we had to wedge something underneath it so it wasn't rocking all night. My son was woken during the night by the smell from someone vaping outside our door!! The bathroom light is on a sensor that does not turn off for over 30 minutes. If you need the toilet during the night, the light will wake everyone up. The shower door doesn't fit properly, so water leaked all over the floor. We had great difficulty locking the door to the courtyard. We opened it when we arrived and spent around 20 minutes trying to lock it again. A simple sign over the door explaining how to lock it would be useful.

• Nikola (9/5): 1 night in Lecce - the check-in starts from 11, which was the main reason to choose 19Venti. the room is easy to find near the old town. so everything you what to see is close to you. also it is located on 30 min by walk from both bus station and the train station. And on both ways there is something interesting to see, so highly recommended to do it. The room itself was clean and good looking. There was no windows, just a door to the terrace, which is shared with the other rooms. so we couldn’t leave it open.

• Chloe (6/5): Poor value for money - Good location, comfortable bed and a nice, clean room. This was the worst value for money of our trip in Italy. No water, tea or coffee provided in the room despite being shown in photos. The breakfast was incredibly poor as most food was cheap, packaged food. On the second day we just bought our own breakfast. Room was not cleaned during our stay. These were all things our other hotels of a similar price provided. Communication was not great as self check-in information was not provided in advance but luckily they responded quickly when contacted.

• Kenneth (7/5): Quiet room in a good location but cleanliness should have been better - The location of the property is on the fringe of the town centre - so it's just a few minutes' walk to all the main attractions. The room was spacious, but rather dark due to limited natural light. Being at the rear of the building, there was no traffic noise. The bed was comfortable and wifi was good. Breakfast was adequate. Cleanliness in the room could have been improved. The underside of the lavatory seat showed signs of distress from a previous resident and in the fridge sat an opened packet of sliced ham which should have been cleared away before the room was let out.

• Veillat (8/5): Very nice and affordable place - We were very pleased with our stay. The place is close from the most interesting POI and the room we had was very nice and comfy. The breakfast is nice and will get you started for the day. Maybe having someone greeting you in person would be a plus. Though we got to mail via whatsapp and this was ok.
• Rakesh (8/5): Not happy with the double booking scenario and being told to rebook and claim refund all at my time - simple but good There was some confusion as one day before arrival I was told the apartment had been double booked. I was offered alternative accommodation which I reluctantly acceptable as I had little time . In the day of arrival I was than informed that my original booking was available. I however with limited time opted to remain with the alternative accommodation . I was than informed this was only possible if I cancelled the original booking and claimed a refund and than rebook the recommended alternative . This created a. enormous hassle and made logical sense. I was not happy to be forced in alternative accommodation and being told I had to go through a process of rebooking and claiming refund . Unacceptable options and had to deal with numerous messages.
