• sarah (2/5): DO NOT BOOK THIS UNLESS YOU ARE BETWEEN 18-19 year - The worst experience in 50 years of world travel. Started with the lack of communications and the key pickup. 20 min cab ride away from property. Be warned Homing has multiple people complaining about the communications, website misrepresntation. This property is 5 flights with questionable stairs as they are less than a meter wide. No door numbers so we used the key on all doors. WORST was the smell. We only stayed 1 night of the 3 booked would have left that night but we were exhausted from a long day of travel. Homing has refused and refund even though Hotels.com has reached out numerous times. Additionally they charged our credit card for a Large security deposit. The smell can’t be shown.
• Richard (6/5): Not quite as nice as the photos suggest - Property is up a road taxis cannot access. The flat is up a steep, narrow and slightly random staircase. Street is very very busy at night and very very noisy. Adjacent properties noisy too. Flat itself is not bad though the holes in walls are not shown in the photos, and the smell from the shower is very unpleasant as it and the toilet and wash basin are all in one open room. I asked the agent to have the plumber who came to attend a shower leak to treat the smell, which he did not do. He was also asked to say if the shower leak was fixed or if we would have to move, and never did.
• IAN (4/5): Beware - Does not look like photographs!!! - BEWARE - This property does not look anything like the photographs and is in very poor condition. There are large cracks in the walls, the shelves beside the bed were ripped off the wall and lying on the floor. There was alot of black mold with an actual mushroom growing from the ceilings, we had to leave the windows and doors open to not breathe in damp stale air. The locations is also extremely noisy as the apartment is located above bars/nightclubs and it is very difficult to sleep. Biggest issue was the overall lack of maintenance to the apartment!

• Jason (6/5): - The sewage smells needs to be looked at especially when the bathroom and sick are literally next to the bed. I bought bleach which I pour down the drain a few hrs before bed then rinse to help neutralise the odour. Otherwise great location and be warn you are dang in the middle of the bar scene so you can still hear people on the street/bar having a good time till 4am
• Rosalind (8/5): - Nice, clean, modern apartment in a great central location in Lisbon. Note, this is an apartment, not a hotel so someone will meet you there, give you the keys and leave you to it. This was fine for us as we liked being able to come and go at any hour. The area is very central although be warned, it's very noisy at night as there are so many bars and restaurants. This is made worse by the fact there is no air conditioning so we had to have the window open at night. Otherwise, the amenities are great, you have a separate kitchen and living area and the place was spotless. Other than not having air con and a corkscrew, this place is great for a Lisbon stay.
