- ALCÂNTARA BELITARDO (10/5): Very clean and confortable - The room and bathroom were very clean. The owner also provided towels, body wash, coffee, tea... and checked up on us to know if everything was alright. It's located in a very industrial region, but it's easy to take the train or bus to the center of the city (around half an hour away). Nothing really negative except that.

Se debería de indicar cuando reservas. También pedimos cama doble y tuvimos dos camas individuales. Uno de los colchones bastante regulero. No se han presentado en ningún momento.

- Ivan Kulakov (6/5): Too small room for two persons - Actually, when I arrived, I felt strongly disappointed, but after some time, we have adapted to the existing conditions and found the location satisfactory. There is a well equipped common kitchen. And since there was no many people in other rooms, we could use it comfortably. There is a bus going from the area to the Lisbon's center. Air conditioning is good. No problem with the bathroom. Actually, the lodgment did mot meet my expectations. The room was too small for two persons. An inclined ceiling under the roof makes it even smaller. The only window is on ceiling - you could not see anything through it. You can open it, but risk to become wet if it's rainy. I expected that being located close to the shore, this location would be nice to walk along the sea. But actually, the surroundings look ugly - mostly the industrial zone, constructions and destroyed buildings. Almost no shops and restaurants around it. In the first day when I arrived I had to walk for more than one hour to find a supermarket. For the relatively high price I paid to this location, this was not what I expected.

- Eva (7/5): Für kurze Aufenthalte gut - Die Lage ist außerhalb der Stadt. Mit einem Mietwagen kommt man gut in die City und hat trotzdem seine Ruhe. Das Viertel unten am Wasser ist schön und modern es gibt viele Möglichkeiten für Kaffee / essen und Co. Die Unterkunft ist wie eine WG aufgeteilt, was mir so davor nicht bewusst war. Sie kommt trotzdesswn das man „gesamte Unterkunft für sich“ eingestellt hat.. Bett ist sehr unstabil / nicht komfortabel. Aufzug ist nur für Gepäck gedacht sodass wir immer in den 3 Stock hochlaufen mussten sehr anstrengend. Am Ende ist unser Gepäck IM Aufzug stecken geblieben und wir konnten unsere Weiterreise verspätet antreten. Würde diesen Aufzug nie mehr benutzen! Ein Nachbar musste ihn mit Werkzeug halber aufbrechen um an unsere Sachen zu kommen.. wenn uns das nachts passiert wäre hätten wir keine Hilfe gehabt und den Flug verpasst. Take care!

Even though the area is a little bit of the main part of the city, in like 3 minutes by foot is a station with a train that brings you to the city center in ~7 minutes. And it may look like the room isn't super big, but the space used very smartly. So, I felt indeed comfortable with my choice. Also, it is a walking distance from aquarium which I would suggest to visit!

Although the building itself is old, it's in a developing area with a selection of bars, cafes and restaurants nearby, and it's only a few minutes walk to the river. Although everything is clean and well maintained, the room and the building are clearly a bit run down and the smell in the stairwell (outside the apartment) was unpleasant.

- Darren (1/5): Avoid this kip! - Nothing We arrived at the above apartment, it was completely different to the pictures. Very out-dated. There was a smell of urine from the entrance hallway. A very run down derelict area full of trash and boarded up buildings. I felt completely unsafe with my family & left straight away. There was no lock on the street door, anyone could walk up to apartment door, which had a very heavy duty lock which indicated to me that this area was a security concern. There were holes in the neighbouring doors. Lift didnt work. The apartment had metal shutters on every window, little or no light. An absolute con for €208 which the property refused to refund me. An absolute kip.

- Dennis (6/5): poor location if you want to visit down town area - kitchen is big and equipment with almost everything needed. It feels good when we are the only family using the kitchen because the other three rooms were not occupied when we stayed. It is several minutes walk to bus stop and train station. too far away from down town. You have to wait quite long for the bus to come, especially in the evening and early morning. The neighborhood is kind of spooky, but safe though according to the taxicab driver. Both the kitchen and balcony are big, but if may turn small if all four bedrooms are fully occupied. Have to climb up to 4th floor, the elevator never worked. No place to hang wet clothes when raining outside. Furthermore, don't like the slanted ceiling which makes the room look much smaller.

- Jürgen (3/5): Shared apartment (instead private) in a run down building for that price, not again - The apartment itself was clean and kept in good shape I wasn´t aware that the apartment would be shared among three parties, I expected my own privacy. The kitchen was shared, which wasn´t mentioned in the description. The building is not in a good neighborhood and the inside of the building is very run down, up to the doors of the apartment (inside it is fine). I was scared when I saw door and the neighbouring doors. The phone connection to the owner/caretaker did not work and all I got was pre-scripted messages.

A bit run down part of town with old-ish buildings. No elevator for people, so you need to walk up 3 floors! May not suitable for the aged or disabled. Some of the floors had a bad smell.

- Bookingprince (10/5): Amazing - The landlady is very sweet and helps you with everything you need. Very clean room equipped with everything. The apartment is close to the sea, within walking distance. Connection is good with busses and trams but I recommend using Bolt "sister of uber" because the prices are low. A trip from the apartment to the center costs around 5 euros. Nothing to be honest
- Ester (4/5): Not recommended - There's a nice café (Delta - the cofee house experience Prata riverside) 5 minutes away, on the riverside. The room we stayed in (budget double room) is smaller than it looks in the pictures. The whole building smells bad and is very poorly insulated, so you can hear all the noises from the corridor and the other rooms. We didn't sleep well at all, we were woken up in the middle of the night by very noisy neighbours and in the early morning by dogs barking outside repeatedly. The price is too high for the quality of the accommodation, especially considering its location - the area is not very nice, there's not much around and even though there's a direct bus to the city center, it takes almost 30 minutes to get there.

The owner apologised and offered to send someone to assist. Since it was only two floors down, we did not make use of the offer.

- Joshua (8/5): Amazing apartment with a local feel. - The location is was great once i got my bearings. The local convenience store had everything you need and was friendly. It was a short walk to buses and the train - and i roamed around the area daily - the best walk was to the local marina, with a recently renovated park (Parque Ribeirinho Oriente). It felt very safe and my local friend who lived nearby confirmed this. The room itself was very comfortable and well kept. The kitchen was great too. Don't stay here for a good view - but the location beats this, hands down. The shower had a pump that goes off every minute or so, but this just added to the local feel of the apartment and area. I just made sure i didn't have a shower at 3am so i didn't disturb the person in the room next to me.

The location was very close to where I was working during the weekend and only 10minutes away from the city by public transport. Paula was extremely friendly and always quick to react to any question I have. She had arranged transport with driver Beato, who was friendly and cheaper than local taxis. If you're looking for a very decent accomodation in the area this is the place to stay! I have nothing negative to say. I wish my stay was longer and just for leisure :)

- Nataliia (8/5): Great budget stay in 6 kn from the city centre - A decent budget property which had everything we needed. It has a kitchen with a washing machine shared for 2 or 3 apartments, but we were lucky to use it as our own as noone else moved in during our stay :) Wifi was fast, hot water was really hot :) it's situated in 6 km from the city center (close to the airport) but as we had a car, it was fine. You can always find some free street parking next to the building. Paula, the host, was amazing and super responsive! If this location suits you, I'd definitely recommend it. Generally nothing wrong for this price )

- Carlos (2/5): Abaixo da critica - Longe de tudo, muito longe de metrô, cama casal pequena (pouca diferença de solteiro) 3 andares de escada s/elevador, cozinha, geladeira compartilhado (barulho quarto ao lado MUITO e também compartilhado) apesar da sra Paula ser atenciosa ao telefone quem me recepcionou foi objetiva porém de forma ríspida e impaciente... enfim uma péssima experiência com preço de 4 estrela.

- Verified traveler (4/5): Factor in high fee for booking in out of hours! - Watch out if you arrive out of their reception hours as you'll be slapped with an out of hours fee. A fee I would have preferred to spend on better accomodation instead! I thought I'd read the terms and conditions but I missed this! However I cannot fault the welcome from Sandra and the cleanliness of the room.
