Robin (10/5): En härlig plats att koppla av! - Vi cyklade ut från Göteborg via Gunnebo Slott och Rådö Säteri. Det var en härlig cykeltur. Mario var mycket vänlig men också lämnade oss i fred för det mesta. Han lagade en mycket bra middag åt oss och vi satt i den varma bubbelpoolen medan solen gick ner. Vi gillade utsikten över sjön såklart. Vi tyckte om allt! Det var inte helt tyst eftersom motorcyklar ibland körde längst vägen åt andra sidan av sjön under eftermiddagen och tidigare under kvällen, men de var inte jättestörande.

Martina (10/5): Unbedingt buchen - Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft direkt am See, mit vielen Aktivitäten. Die Sauna ist zu empfehlen. Es gab genau auf Bestellung ein tolles Frühstück und auch Abendessen konnte man wählen, für jeden was dabei, wenn man abends nicht kochen mag. Es war wunderschön und erholsam. Bis Göteborg ist es auch nicht weit. Mario ist ein super Gastgeber, ich komme gerne wieder.

Willi (8/5): Ferien in einem guten Haus in wunderbarer Lage mit Schlafunterbrüchen. - Das Frühstück war gut. Man konnte wünschen was man will. Hat fast immer geklappt. Die Lage in der Natur. Trotz nahegelegenem Flugplatz liegt das Haus sehr gut. Man hörte täglich nur wenige Flugzeuge und nicht laut. Betten viel zu hart nach unserem Geschmack und nur 140 cm breit. Wir sind Seitenschläfer. Beide hatten Hüftschmerzen. Diese Beurteilung wurde von Rentnern verfasst.

Emma (10/5): An idyllic getaway in a great location - The location was amazing, not too far from Gothenburg but so remote and idyllic! There were so many activities to choose from around the area and the host, Mario, was so happy to help organise anything we wanted to do. Also the breakfast trays each morning were 10/10 and Mario also provides a shuttle service to the airport. Everything was so reasonably priced Nothing, it was perfect for what we wanted. Just make sure to bring some snacks and food with you as it’s in a very remote location

Das Frühstück war so liebevoll angerichtet und wir konnten in der Unterkunft essen. Die Eigentümer waren sehr freundlich.

These rooms are mobile home style accommodation with a set up of a caravan park. All absolutely acceptable but headings suggest a far superior set up.

Michele (9/5): Beautiful, peaceful cabin with friendly owner who really takes care of his guests! - What a WONDERFUL choice this turned out to be! Mario, the owner, was the most amazing host and went so far above and beyond during our stay to take care of us. Not only did he pick us up at the airport upon our arrival, but he took us back at 4am the day we were leaving for a 6am departure! 4am - seriously, who does that?!?!? He and his wife cooked us the most amazing meals - so fresh and delicious and delivered straight to our door at agreed-upon times. The cabin was absolutely adorable and featured a large bed in its own room plus a very comfy sofabed in the living room. There was plenty of room for two adults. Nice dining/kitchen area with a large table and chairs, fridge and mini dishwasher (but they wouldn't even let us do our own dishes - they insisted on cleaning up throughout our stay!). We arrived on a Sunday and all the liquor stores (which are state-run in Sweden) were closed, so Mario brought me a box of white wine from his own stash. This property sits right on a beautiful lake. There's a picnic table out in front of the room and I appreciated that smoking outdoors was allowed with an ashtray provided. The place was so peaceful and we enjoyed spending time outside just savoring the quiet and basking in nature. My daughter very much enjoyed swimming in the lake and using the sauna. The only disappointments were (i) the weather didn't cooperate enough to allow us to take advantage of the boating and kayaking in which we'd hoped to participate (we deferred to Mario's judgment on that because it was evident how much he cared about our safety as his guests) and (ii) the hot tub was not working during our visit. Hopefully someday we can go back and take advantage of these amenities.

Karen (10/5): Our favorite peaceful place in Sweden!🇸🇪❤️🇸🇪 - Evika Boutique Hotel has been our favorite place to stay in Sweden so far after a full week of traveling. We arrived at Landvetter Airport and stayed here because it was so close. But it was beyond our dreams the BEST! Our view of the lake was absolutely stunning. The house perfect. The people always make the place and Mario gave us the warmest welcome, and he and Madeline served elegant meals on our deck overlooking the views. This place is not to be missed. Our trip was fully planned or we would have loved to stay longer!!! We will be so joyful, however, that our last day in Sweden will be with them. We are so grateful for the most perfect start to our trip! I haven’t felt so much peace for years!❤️

Le petit déjeuner et tres bon. Nous n'avons pas testé le diner mais les options semblaient appétissantes. L'hôte est serviable et parle français ! Enfin on est proche de l'aéroport donc très pratique.

Madelene (10/5): - Ett helt magiskt ställe. Bra service, otroligt vacker och lugn miljö. Badade bastu nere vid sjön och jacuzzin under stjärnhimlen. Rent och frächt. Så mysig stuga med hotellservice och det lilla extra. Kommer definitivt återvända hit!

Gem (8/5): Very good - The lake view is beautiful. The greenery is beautiful The swing is so much fun the activities can be booked at an extra fee. Some of the curtains need fixing as they don’t close properly
Nikolaus (10/5): Exceptional - Great place to relax and unwind. The host has many activities and places that guests can relax outside of the cabins. The road is a little steep and narrow.

Jane (10/5): Felt like a special client! Even to giving me his cell if my cab didn't arrive at 3:30am - The location was a bit further out from Gothenburg then anticipated, but was so lovely. Forests, lake, cabins all beautiful and so serene and peaceful. There was a beautiful thick robe in the room but it was a very small size. But such a minor complaint.

Ines (9/5): Great place for kids with a lovely host - Mario is a great host and is doing everything to make his guests' stay comfortable! The breakfast and dinner were delicious, our kids enjoyed all the child-friendly extras (swimming in the lake, swinging over the lake and jumping on the trampoline). Our accommodation was very clean. Everything was fine!
Mira (9/5): Great value for money! - Great access to water activities (boat and kayak) as well as activities in land (sauna and jacuzzi). All at a reasonable price.
Renato (8/5): - Wunderschön gelegen an einem ruhigen See. Frühstück in den Wohnwagen geliefert. Schöner Wohnwagen. Sehr sauber. Gastgeber sehr freundlich und jederzeit zur Stelle, wenn es Fragen gibt. Da keine normalen Sanitäranlagen, sondern nur Wohnwagen-Toilette, nur etwas für Camping-Erfahrene.

Christoffer (10/5): En flott overnatting - Vi sov over på Evika under en bilferie nedover i europa. Vi kom på kvelden, og ble møtt av en veldig hyggelig driver på parkeringsplassen. Han var blid, hilste på både vokse og barn, og viste oss til boligen. Vi følte oss veldig velkommen. Boligen var en liten hytte med det man trenger. Sto absolutt etter forventningene. Vi sov kjempegodt. Vår eldste datter fikk hoppet på trampoline og badet på stranda som hører til tomta. Dette stedet gir deg en helt annen opplevelse enn et vanlig hotell. Det blir med personlig og fredfullt. Anbefaler alle en overnatting her :) PS. Vi fikk ikke testet maten her, dessverre.
