Brad (10/5): Outstanding !!! - Location right at Baylor,,,extremely clean,,,ample amenities,,,extremely easy to contact staff for any type of need,,,fair price,,,extremely accommodating,,,parking right in front of your unit,,,absolutely beautiful inside,,,a rustic country look and feel,,, Been booking here 2 times a year for the 4 years that my child was attending Baylor,,,but this last time the sewage in the whole complex was backed up and caused a tiny flood in the downstairs bathroom when showering in the upstairs bathroom,,,I give 2 reasons for this issue,,,lots of big families were booked at this complex due to graduation and the toilet paper used is way too thick and doesn’t breakdown easily causing the back up,,,notified staff and we were relocated immediately,,,

Barbara (10/5): Quick trip to Baylor - This property has the best location for really any place you’d like to visit in Waco. And, of course, perfect if you’re visiting Baylor I’d like it it they used warmer lights. The LED lights in the family room are really quite awful. I never put them in as they’re too much.

John (7/5): overall positive, would definitely stay again - i liked the location and the unit overall. the oven did not work and after reporting it the day of arrival, i was told that maintenance would come the next day. instead management was sent and confirmed the oven wasn't working but said that maintenance would not be available since it was 4th of July. so effectively i had a major appliance, the oven, inoperable throughout my 2 night stay.

Mccrady (10/5): Wonderful location and amenities for events at and visits to Baylor University in Waco, Texas! - I was in Waco for the annual Beall Poetry Festival at Baylor. This was the perfect lodging choice across the street from campus, as well as convenient to the Magnolia Silos, the river front, and shopping and restaurants downtown. I have stayed here twice and recommend it.

It’s especially cool for us: the unit we’re staying in was the long-time apartment of my mentor at Baylor - a beloved and distinguished professor of history for 40 years. Couldn’t recommend this place more highly. Well done!

Nicole (8/5): Nice apartment/hotel on Baylor campus - We had a great stay! The location and unit were fantastic—freshly remodeled with nice amenities. It felt modern and well-equipped, which we really appreciated. The stairs might be a bit challenging for older guests, and the beds, while supportive futon-style, could benefit from firmer pillows—just a small note from someone with physical limitations. One minor issue we noticed was that the shower faucet seemed to be reversed (H was cold, C was hot). The unit was a little warm at times, but overall, it had almost everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The only real hiccup was with checkout. While checkout was set for 11 AM, we stepped out early for a sports commitment, intending to return for a quick shower before leaving. However, when we got back at 10 AM, housekeeping had already entered and started cleaning. I had to reach out to the property contact to clarify that we were still within our allotted time, and they quickly addressed it, but it was a bit unsettling since we hadn't yet sent the required checkout confirmation. That said, the overall experience was positive, and we really enjoyed our time here! Just a couple of small tweaks would make it even better. 😊

We received complimentary chips, salsa, and Topo Chico. The beds were very comfortable. The location right on Baylor's campus was quiet and very convenient. I enjoyed taking my book out on the soft sofa of the patio and reading at dusk beneath the string of patio lights. I met a couple of lovely Baylor employees who chatted. We liked everything! But coffee supplies for all 3 mornings v. 2 would have been great. Basic condiments like oil, butter, and seasonings would have been good as well.

The ONLY recommendation I have is to stalk the kitchen with staples as it doesn’t make sense for travelers staying for only a few days to have to purchase things like spices and cooking oil/spray.
