• Shawleen (6/5): - I would say it was a typical hostel for the area. Lots of stairs but that is typical again for the area. The staff was very nice and helpful. The bathrooms are very small.

• Nina (4/5): Weinig nachtrust - De hostel is gelegen in een uitgaansbuurt. De hele nacht was er veel lawaai: muziek en geroep van uitgaande mensen. Het was veel te warm in de kamer, daarom moest het raam openblijven en waren de geluiden op straat heel goed te horen. De trappen, wc's en badkamer waren vies, slecht onderhouden. Het beddengoed was wel schoon.

• Verified traveler (2/5): - The stairs were so thin. It is very difficult for people to walk up with their luggage. The bathroom lock was almost broken and i cannot unlock the lock to open it so i was locked inside and i contacted the staff to open the door. The staff tried to say that this is my fault and i feel bad for this attitude.
• Verified traveler (2/5): Worst Experience In Europe! - As bad as they come, checked in early in the day and they acted like they couldn't find my reservation and told me to come back in a few hours, when I came back they checked me in and gave me a room number and then told me they couldn't allow me to check in because the clerk ssid I smelled, I had just been on a canal cruise, totally made up excuse because they didn't have a room for me after charging me and guarenteeing a room online. Totally unprofessional, the worst possible experience!
• Jack (2/5): - Got my phone stolen while it was charging in reception. Staff member working on Wednesday 26th June was extremely unhelpful and kept saying there was no point looking at the cctv. Definitely something dodgy happening. Irish girl who was staying in room with me asked for her 10 euro deposit back when checking out and was told she already got it back by same member of staff... I think she would have remembered. These staff members cannot be trusted and I will never stay here again as well as strongly advise no one else to do the same.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The property serves its purpose of being a hostel which is well located within Amsterdam. The beds were comfortable, lockers are provided, overall facilities were clean enough. However, my main issue was at check out they only hold on to bags til 1pm. Almost every hostel I have stayed in allows bags to be stored either behind the desk or in a locker room. It is a suggestion for the host, but not a big deal for most travelers.

• Benjamin (8/5): Hostel + tax. Good overall. - It's a hostel. You'll want a towel, none in the room. The wifi is good. First time entry requires a door buzz, then you get the code. It's Amsterdam, be prepared for tiny steep stairs. Even if you okay full upfront, there is still an additional tax to pay in cash upon arrival. Wish that was better noted. If it was, I missed it.

• Judi (8/5): - I was in transit while in Amsterdam so I decided to book a night at this hostel. Prior to booking, I read some reviews that were not too positive. I decided to give it a try anyway. After I got off the bus, it took me about 6mns walking from the bus stop. Upon arriving, I rang the bell followed by taking this steep stairs to the lobby. I booked a 10 people room and it was very cozy and the room was located on the third floor (same steep stairs). The people in the reception were alright and they got bonus point from having a cute kitty or should I say a big kitty who enjoys his day naps. The hostel was alright for a night or two. The beds were clean and there was one bathroom for the entire room but honestly we all had the same goal which was take a shower and sleep (no hangouts). I forgot to mention that the bathroom had good water pressure but it’s always wet. Both the toilet and the shower were together (kinna weirdly placed). Overall, I had a good night sleep and I met some decent people.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - You get what u pay for so choose wisely. Toilet was tiny similar to airplane toilets. Room was tidy but a bit smelly. Other than that it was ok for 1 night.
• Verified traveler (4/5): Not the best, Not the absolute worst. - Rooms don't look quite like the pictures. Some of the staff was very unfriendly, some were very nice and helpful. There is only one shower and one toilet for like +- 12 people so trying to take a shower is quite difficult. otherwise, very small but there is a lot to do close to the hostel.
• z (2/5): - Worst place to stay. 1.No power socket for each bed 2.The receptionist tried to cheat me by paying 10.5euro instead of 5.5euro for city tax 3.Toilet and room extremely smelly and no necessities provided

• Verified traveler (6/5): - I stayed here for about five days in the off season, and for a couple days I was by myself in the room, which was amazing. I can't imagine staying here at the peak season though, as a woman. It's a newer place which is nice, with lovely staff and great location, but it's a mixed bag overall. Pros: - Balcony! - Non-smoking - Cute lobby/dining space - Easy to get in and out of all day - Nice mattress, warm blanket - Clean - Helpful, English-speaking staff of young people who let you use their microwave/fridge in the back, and carry your luggage up the crazy stairs. Nice to chat with, too. - Wonderful location. Cheap restaurants, clubs, bakeries, and transit everywhere. Cons: - Bad pillows - Coed rooms only - Shower too small to keep clothes dry while using; I seriously didn't shower the entire time I was there because I wasn't sure how I was supposed to use the shower and keep my towel dry, so there was always a risk of someone getting a peek! - Somewhat loud street noise / building traffic noise - Super cramped toilet, very uncomfortable to use.
• Verified traveler (6/5): - There was one shower (with not temperature control, and need to press a button every 15 seconds to keep the water flowing) and one toilet per 18 beds. No one wt the front desk until after 9am to process check out.
• Gareth (2/5): Awful service - No locks on toilet door or shower. Staff member was very rude to another customer and I had to wait 15 minutes whilst they were shouting at each other. A man and a woman had booked a bed each in the dorm and then were forced to sleep in one bed together as was no beds available. They were not offered a refund for the 2nd bed booked. In addition the staff member then said "why did you sleep in the same bed? This is not a sex club". Terrible management.

• Varo (6/5): - Excellent location... excellent location. The staff, specially the guy in the overnight shift is not into people, at least that's what I felt when I tried to ask him a couple of questions.

• Verified traveler (6/5): - The hostel is in a prime location near several bars and restaurants and is a 10 min walk from the museums and airport bus. It is very small and the halls smell of humidity. The staff was nice, but the rooms were very small and the shared bathroom was a room with a shower head and toilet. Personally I think it’s way too pricy for what they offer but I guess you’re paying for the location. Still not too bad
• Verified traveler (4/5): too much mould in shower - shower full of mould, on checkout the desk attendant told me there was no return of room key and locker key deposit of 15 Euros, asked him to phone the manager/owner , he made a half heart'd attempt and told me the owner would wake up at 5pm my flight out was 6 pm so i let him walk all over me and not return deposits
• Svitlana (8/5): 2 nights stay in May 2018 - Rooms and bathroom were cleaned every day. Windows faced a busy street full of nightlife. Very friendly stuff. Overall good impression, but not cheap as for a hostel

• J (10/5): had a blast - The hotel staff made well sure that kids did not wake me up anymore at 5am right in the first morning. Transferred me to another room before I smacked one of those slimy punks (noisy kid). Anyways. The staff told the kids off and moved me to a new snooty at the time room. Excellent support, no hassle.
