• Fiona (10/5): - This is a beautiful property in a rural location. The house is immaculate and very pretty. Muriel runs it very well. We had everything we needed there --even a floor fan - much appreciated! The breakfast was fantastic - in a lovely dining room. We pre-ordered the night before- everything was perfect. We arrived on a Sunday @ 4pm. Limited choice of open restaurants nearby, but we did find a Chinese buffet restaurant open- and this was ideal for a quick, tasty meal. Just over 1 mile away, but not really walkable in the heat, and over fields- better to take the car.
• Tiina (10/5): - Very special excellent place, wonderfully decorated and well cleaned. Good big bed and spacious room. Breakfast was served in the table and staff was really nice. The room lacks only aircondition. Ten minutes by car to the village where there are restaurants. I would choose this place anytime again.
• Edward and Catriona (10/5): - This was a great find. We were there to visit the Thiepval Memorial and some other war sites. It was well located, a very nice room and an excellent breakfast. We felt very fortunate to have found it.
• Andrew (10/5): - We chose to stay here whilst visiting the Somme. And it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made. What a beautiful property! Located in a quiet village a couple of kilometres from the centre of Albert the property is clean and well presented. Our room was well equipped and quiet. We slept well after getting a taxi into Albert for dinner(15€). Breakfast is preordered and is just superb quality local produce. We were able to secure our motorcycle in the barn for safe keeping and nothing was too much trouble for Muriel. I would definitely stay here again.

• Owe Bjoern (10/5): FLOTT B&B I LITEN LANDSBY NÆR ALBERT - Dette er en unik B&B Ble veldig godt tatt imot til tross for at jeg var VELDIG tidlig ute. Rommet var stort og flott innredet i en tidligere gammel driftsbygning (?) med eget bad og toalett. På rommet fantes også TV (kun franske kanaler), vannkoker med sjokolade, kaffe og te + flaskevann. WIFI var tilgjengelig, men hadde meget varierende hastighet. Frokosten - med ingredienser en velger ut ved ankomst - stod klar i matsalen til avtalt tid, og var meget rikholdig og god 😋😋😋 Det er lite å se / gjøre i den lille landsbyen, men Albert er kun en kort kjøretur unna. Stedet ligger også meget sentralt ift WWI museer, minnesmerker og krigsgravplasser

Our room was huge and well equipped with a very comfortable bed, an en-suite shower/hand basin and separated en-suite toilet. Parking was off street in an enclosure. Excellent restaurants were a 10 minute drive away in Albert.

The property's owner was very friendly and went out of her way to help us find a place to eat on a Bank Holiday. Breakfast the following day was excellent. We were only there for one night, but we hope to return for a longer stay in the future.

We reizen met motors en konden onze spullen op de middag al kwijt zodat we de omgeving zonder bagage achterop konden gaan verkennen. Zeer Vriendelijk En behulpzaam onthaal, Fijn jong koppeltje. Kamers leuk gerenoveerd met authenticiteit vanher gebouw. Lekker en verzorgd ontbijt en meer dan voldoende! Muriel is een lieve jongedame! Enige probleempje voor ons was de matras. Mijn broer heeft een rugfractuur gehad en een matras maakt of kraakt zijn nacht. Voor hem was dat hier een slechte nacht daardoor. We zijn dus dagje vroeger dan voorzien vertrokken. Maar dat is heel persoonlijk. Want voor mezelf (en voor gemiddelde mens) was die matras prima! Dus los van dit persoonlijke puntje, was het hier tiptop!!! Ook de ligging is super, dichtbij veel bezienswaardigheden.

Very comfortable room, excellent home made breakfast and a a very warm welcome. Ideal for a stopover to other parts of France and visiting the Somme battlefield memorials and museums. • Stephen (10/5): - The property is newly renovated so the room's furniture and bathroom were new. The only issue for some persons with the upstairs room that we had, could be the winding staircase. I think the property does have ground floor rooms but you would need to check. The breakfast was very good. The parking is in the courtyard by the door. While we were just passing through on our way to Brussels, the B&B is in a good location for people interested in the Somme area and the WWI history.
• billyfiske (10/5): Brilliant bed and breakfast - The B&B is situated in a courtyard of the main road. There are only three rooms and ours was clean, quiet and perfect. The host could speak good English and she welcomed us as we arrived. Breakfast was wonderful, a mix of meat, fresh bread, pancakes, fruit, yoghurt etc. It was a short trip into Albert for food as there is nowhere to eat in the vicinity. This was a great stay.
• Tim (10/5): Trip To Meaulte - Wow what a hidden gem. Warm and friendly welcome. Room was superb, comfortable, roomy with everything we needed. Breakfast was a continental affair with beautiful cold meats, cheese, fruit, cereals and bread. Service at the table was second to none and nothing was too much trouble. I cannot rate this venue high enough.
