• Matthias (8/5): Nur Kiten, Essen, Schlafen. Das gibts hier zum bezahlbaren Preis. - Die Erwartungshaltung war: Relativ zu den anderen Resorts eine kostengünstige Unterkunft, bei der wir sicher Abstriche machen müssen, aber die zumindest kulinarisch den hungrigen Kiter-Magen zuverlässig und schmackhaft füllt. Die Realität: Ziemlich genau das. Plus: - Ganz klar der Preis relativ zu den anderen Unterkünften - Das Essen! Immer viel und immer lecker - Komfort und Hygiene sind für den Preis und die Abgeschiedenheit ebenfalls absolut ok Neutral: - Die Lage zur Lagune. Nicht endlos weit weg, aber bei Ebbe doch ein deutlicher Fußmarsch. - Wir wurden wie versprochen aus Dakhla abgeholt und wieder hingebracht. Ich bewerte das als neutral, weil es keine positive oder negative Überraschung war. - Der Strom wird wie beschrieben immer nur sporadisch zugeschaltet. Das WLAN ist aber durchgehend verfügbar Das Resort ist ziemlich überschaubar mit 20 Bungalows. Das bedeutet: Selbst wenn alle belegt sind, lernt man (wenn man sich nicht aktiv versteckt und den Mund verklebt) zwangsläufig alle Gäste kennen. Und plötzlich wird aus dem hässlichen Entlein in der Lagune von Dakhla sowas wie eine geniale Klassenfahrt die sich min. 3mal am Tag im Restaurant sieht, alles bespricht, sich hilft und selbstverständlich zusammen kiten geht. Der Effekt ist so dominant, das (bei Wind) die Minus-Punkte alle weggeschwemmt werden. Dazu kommt das Ass im Ärmel des Resorts: Alan, der Supervisor der Küche. Er ist genau die Person, die bei der Ankunft fehlt. Sind wir nicht glücklich, ist es er es nicht. Er hat Rat, Infos, Hilfe, Geschichten, Wissen, Freundlichkeit, ist immer da und nie aufdringlich. Minus: - Bei Ankunft ein Bild absoluter Trostlosigkeit. Null Mühe, den Gästen irgendwie Urlaubsgefühle zu präsentieren. Null Info, wer, wann, was, wo. - Eine Kitestation, die den Namen nicht verdient (Uns egal, wir hatten Material und Pumpe) - Kein Alkohol, keine Snacks (uns war dann egal, steht hier der Vollständigkeit halber) - Das WLAN war sehr instabil. Da aber andere Gäste keine Probleme hatten (wir aber mit 5 verschiedenen Geräten) ist die Schuldfrage offen - Gemütliches Abhängen Fehlanzeige (war uns auch egal, wir waren Kiten, Essen, Schlafen)
• Sybilla (4/5): Disappointing - The food was delicious! Know before you go: This place is only suitable if you are a completely independent kitesurfer. There is absolutely no assistance with launching, landing, or safety/rescue support. The hotel is located around 300m from the beach, and during high tide you have to cross a busy road with your kite in the air while cars drive past at around 80 km/h. When the wind dropped significantly during one of my sessions, I was lucky to have friends staying at another hotel who could help me get back. Otherwise, I would have been stuck with a very long walk carrying all my gear. The hotel itself has basically no facilities. There are only three loungers for all guests to share, and overall it’s not a comfortable or relaxing place to spend time between sessions. Unfortunately, I booked a non-refundable stay because the hotel name gave the impression it would cater properly to kitesurfers. If Booking.com had allowed it, I would have left immediately. Another frustrating experience was transport. When I asked the hotel to call a taxi, I was told taxis “don’t exist” there and that the hotel could drive guests only at times convenient for them. After asking around, I discovered this was completely untrue. I easily arranged my own transport for about 70% less than what the hotel charged, and at times that actually suited me. In the end, I stored my kite gear at a nearby hotel for €10/day because everything there was far better organised. They had rescue boats, staff helping with launching/landing, proper chill areas, and overall much better facilities. I would strongly recommend staying directly at places like PK25, Lagoon Energy, or Dakhla Club instead. They were all fantastic and would save you a lot of hassle.

• gregoire (7/5): coupures électriques la nuit non annoncées sur internet. - gentillesse du personnel les repas lieu je n'ai pas pu dormir correctement de toute la semaine. En effet, je suis appareillé avec 1 machine à apnées du sommeil depuis 8 ans. Rien sur le site ne prévient les clients que l' électricité est coupée de minuit à 6h du matin entre autres. Imaginez ne pas dormir pendant 1 semaine !!!! j'ai fini par me blesser en faisant du Kite à cause de la fatigue. Mes vacances ont été en partie gâchées à cause de cela.

• Jonathan (6/5): Cheap for a reason - Food was amazing It's basic, you need to be totally self sufficient kitesurf. Was there for 3 weeks had to self launch and land most days, no help from the hotel. No boat on the water or any help at all
• Michaela (7/5): Nette Lage, leider Abstriche bei Zimmern und teilweise Personal. - Gute Lage, nur ein paar Gehminuten von einem der Kitespots entfernt. Andere Spots erreicht man per Taxi oder mit Mietwagen auch in relativ kurzer Zeit. Der Kellner im Restaurant und der Koch machen einen tollen Job. Leckeres abwechslungsreiches Essen, vegetarische Optionen möglich. Leider gibt es einige Abstriche: wir wurden am Flughafen nicht wie vereinbart und pünktlich abgeholt (nachts um 01:00 Uhr), auf der angegebenen Handynummer haben wir niemanden erreicht und als dann nach 90 Minuten jemand kam, uns uns letztendlich doch noch einzusammeln, war die Situation relativ unklar und wir wussten eigentlich nicht, was passiert, wurden immer nur aufgefordert, unser Gepäck irgendwo hinzugeben und haben es letztendlich dann gegen 3 Uhr nachts doch noch in unsere Unterkunft geschafft. Auch am nächsten Tag gab es auf Nachfrage keine Entschuldigung oder Erklärung. Dieser Eindruck zog sich dann leider weiter durch - wir hatten ein paar Taxifahrten und Ausflüge über Ali gebucht - das lief alles sehr abenteuerlich, unpünktlich und unzuverlässig und sollte am Ende 4mal so viel kosten wie vereinbart. Auf Nachfrage hin wurden wir vom Hotelmanager am Telefon angeschrien - das ist alles Nichts, was ich im Urlaub brauche. Kite-Storage ist kostenpflichtig, obwohl Facilities zum Säubern des Equipments dürftig sind. Die Zimmer sind zweckmäßig, aber ordentlich abgewohnt und werden nur dürftig instand gehalten. Wir hatten leider auch einige Kakerlaken im Zimmer, aber das ist eventuell auch einigermaßen normal dort.

Ali and Alan were like 2 older brothers, always joking, always helpful and always there if needed. May ve some upgrades and stronger wifi.

• arnaud (7/5): Un établissement simple et agréable avec une bonne restauration !! - L'accueil du personnel était top, ils sont au petit soin avec les clients. Coté site : Dommage que la piscine n'est pas été fonctionnelle. Coté service : La location de voiture est bien moins plus simple qu'indiqué par téléphone, et les tarifs des déplacements un peu plus cher que la réalité.
• anas (10/5): Top du Top - Le staff était accueillant et très sympa (Alae, le chef avec sa bonne cuisine, Saleh, Ali… tout le personnel). J’ai beaucoup apprécié les moments où nous nous réunissions tous le soir autour d’un verre de thé préparé avec soin par Ali ou Saleh. Les sorties en groupe étaient également très agréables. D’ailleurs, j’ai passé 7 nuits pendant la periode du 16 au 23 Août 2025 et c’était vraiment formidable.

• Gonzalo (10/5): El auténtico Dakhla - Totalmente diferente a lo que puedes encontrar en Dakhla, este hotel es sumergirte en Marruecos: el personal, la gastronomía (excelente chef), su cultura y un largo etcétera van de la mano de este hotel. Me han tratado y acogido una semana como una familia desde el primer día hasta el último. Está ubicado justo en frente del lago, andando a 100 metros de la playa, perfecto para los amantes del kite.

La expectativas de las fotos no son reales, la limitación de electricidad por horario, el olor del agua para bañarte. El problema no es el hotel sino la falta de infraestructura de dakhla.

Coupure d électricité 3 fois par jours et durant plusieurs heures. Donc pas de clim non plus, Du coup casiment pas d eau chaude... Piscine intex donc le système ne tourne pas de manière continue ... car pas d électricité...

De l'eau est rentrée dans l'appartement qui n a pas de seuil de porte. Tout est sale et moisi L'eau de la douche ne s evacue pas. La piscine n est pas prise en photo..on comprend pourquoi Il n'y a pas d électricité à certains moments de la journée et on lappre d après avoir réservé de manière non remboursable Bref pas envie de rester une nuit de plus !!!! Tout autant inadmissible côté booking de garder un logement de cette qualité et la description est mensongère donc je ne suis pas content non plus contre booking à qui j'ai demandé un remboursement d une nuit non passée sur place car...j'ai fui l'endroit

• Huana (7/5): Good - -Alan the restaurant manager is very friendly and makes you feel at home. -The location is also good in front of the lagoon. -Great wifi that allowed me to work on my laptop most of the day that I wasn´t kiting without any problems -Food was good also and good quantity. -Bungalows are spacious and have nice view to the lagoon. -Nice breakfast! -I waited nearly an hour at the airport to be picked up, no way to contact the hotel and no reply on WhatsApp, email or phone. Finally someone from another kiting hotel knew the manager and got in touch with him. -Very dirty bathrooms with yellow toilets. The pictures are from the bungalow I was given ready and "clean" when I checked in. The carpets on the room are also dirty (they never dust them or vacuum them). -Hundreds of flies on the dinning area. -I booked on this platform a bungalow with garden views instead of the standard bungalow, I was still given a standard bungalow and asked for more money if I wanted to move to the front bungalows. Quite a misunderstanding and I let the hotel manager know. Let´s see if they will change it. -No entertainment, went most evenings to the next door hotel for a beer and some atmosphere (we were only 6 guest in the hotel)

• Olja (8/5): Dakhla kite... - Very friendly staff, affordable price. Cleanliness can be improved, especially bathroom fixtures, like faucets, shower are in poor condition, doors swolen from moisture and rubbing against the floor, pain and tiles have cracks. There is an abnormally high number of flies, especially in the dining area, often landing on the food :(, however, no efforts are being made to deal with them. For kiting, there is 600-900 meter walk with gear to the water (based on the tide).
• Sandro (10/5): Wonderful hospitality - Ali and the rest of the staff do everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. They treat everyone like family. It was a great place to travel to as a solo kitesurfer as it is right in front of the lagoon. I met a great group of people to ride with and hang out. I will definitely come again! Electricity cuts for a few hours every day. Shower water is not always hot.
• Michael (10/5): Relaxing Sahara Experience - The peace, quiet and feeling of relaxation. Combined with the great food, brilliant staff and the adventure of sitting on the edge of the Sahara enjoying the sun and relaxing. Great nights sleep for four nights, short walk to the next hotel if you want a beer (none on site). Free airport pick up and drop off was seamless, and all the food was included + the guys were happy to drop me off anywhere around the area to see the beaches or the sunset. Yes the electricity is only on at certain times, but it felt good for me to disconnect. And yes, it can be a little dusty but its in a desert and a famously windy part of that desert, I had no issues with the cleanliness

• Emma (8/5): Would return to this accommodation for sure! Great food and accommodation. - High standard accommodation, the food was incredible and the pool table was fun. The staff were great. Lessons expensive if there is no one else to join you as a ‘group’ lesson (150 euros for 2 hours). No one explained where we got drinking water from…when we did find it, we were not told that we had to pay or how much things were, so we had an unexpected bill for water bottles.
• Kevin (10/5): Perfect location, amazing food, super comfy rooms, with the best hospitality - I had an amazing time at Dakhla Kitesurf World ! From the moment I arrived, Ali made me feel super welcome — he even came to pick me up from the airport. The location is just perfect , right in front of the kitesurfing spots — just cross the road, and you’re there ! The rooms are great , with really comfy mattresses, and the food is just next level — it seriously feels like eating at a restaurant every day. Allah is always around at the hotel, ready to help with anything you might need, which makes everything even better. There are also plenty of activities to do, like visiting the White Dunes , checking out the hot springs , or tasting some fresh oysters — and everything is super well-organized and safe. If you need kitesurfing gear, Ali’s your guy — he’ll hook you up with top-quality equipment and give you great tips if you’re new to the spot. In the evenings, they serve traditional Moroccan tea , and it’s such a nice moment to just sit, chat, and enjoy the atmosphere. The whole place is truly Moroccan , far from the usual big hotel chains, and that’s exactly what makes it so special. Staying in places like this helps keep the Moroccan tradition alive, and that’s something really worth supporting ! I honestly booked this place a bit by chance, but I wouldn’t stay anywhere else next time I come to Dakhla !

The meals are delicious and every ingredient is very good quality. I had a dream vacation where I become a real kitesurfer thanks to Mansour. Thanks for everything. I will return back soon! They can add some details for a better decoration in the overall.
• Eirik (10/5): Extremely nice place close to Dahkla. - Dakla kitesurf world was amazing. I would stay here every summer if my country did not call this occupied territory. The hotel was amazing and very close to the beach. Short drive to the town as well. Dahkla is amazing. Allot of wear European restaurants and west European named restaurants. Reccomend to all people visiting Dahkla. Power outages in the specified time periods.

• Bouchra (2/5): worst experience ever. - Nothing in the property is likeable There are so many flies. The food is exposed to everything. The rooms are dirty with sheets that don’t smell or look clean. We didn’t even get the room that was supposed to be given to us. we had to pay extra to get to that room. The receptionist is Ill mannered. no toiletries. Rust in bathroom and doors. dusty everywhere. overall wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy. Not worth value for money.

• nicolas (10/5): - I had a wonderful kite trip at this place. Food is really good and the staff is very friendly & helpful.
• Emma (8/5): Great Stay - From collection at the airport to return at the end of the stay this was a great trip. The team were lovely, helpful, spoke excellent English, welcoming. We took 2 trips with them which they tailored to our requirements, and which were very good value for money. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just be aware that in order to be eco-friendly they turn off the generators at 3 points in the day which means a cold shower during those times and no phone charging. Wifi (which was actually one of the best i have had in Morocco!) does still work though ;-) All inclusive food was plentiful, if a little carb-heavy for my tastes, but perfectly good. Overall good value for money and a lovely stay, would come back for sure.
• Alberto (6/5): - Posizione buona, struttura minimale e poco curata con riguardo alla manutenzione. Energia elettrica dalle 6 alle 10, dalle 13 alle 15 e dalle 19 alle 24, ma l’acqua calda è sempre assicurata. La pensione è completa ma la cucina scarsa e poco appetitosa. In compenso c’è la guida, Fadel, molto professionale e preparata. Anche il resto del personale è simpatico e molto disponibile. Conviene prendere la struttura vicina, Le Vagabond, e chiedere a questa struttura di effettuare l’escursione completa con Fadel: soldi ben spesi.
• Verified traveler (8/5): - Staff were amazing. It’s the most important part of a vacation and can’t say anything I would change. The only downfalls were lack of things like a game room or pool when the wind is down or for kids. The chef was great person and very accommodating but when you are visiting Morocco you want to enjoy the flavors of the culture which could have been a bit better
